WWE Smackdown 4/11/2025
Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/04/wwe-smackdown-442025.html
We are in Seattle, WA.
We see various wrestlers arrive.
Nick Aldis comes in the ring to talk. He brings out Randy Orton. Randy says Nick took last week personally when Randy RKO'd him. He said he paid double last year when he got fined in case something like that happened again and said now they are even.
Randy says he needs a match for Mania and suggests Nick should gear up if needed. Nick says he doesn't need his money but his respect. Randy says Nick has his respect but says he can't promise he will apologize to his wife for what he will do if he doesn't get his match.
Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga come out. Solo tells Nick to tell Randy to get out. Solo says no one wants to hear Randy cry about Mania. He says Mania is over for him because he's in the past. He says LA Knight will end up in the same boat as him next week. He says Orton will sit alone when Fatu takes care of him and LA.
Orton tries to start a fight with them. They surround him. Orton gets 2v1'd. LA Knight comes out to help him as expected. Orton and LA fend off the heels. LA says he took his name out of Tama's mouth and put his fist in it. LA says he and Orton didn't get enough and challenges them for a match tonight. Aldis agrees.
Thoughts: It was a stupid and predictable segment with these four. Why is Orton asking for favors when he RKO'd the GM last week? And why hasn't Aldis suspended him for that?
Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez are at ringside.

Thoughts: It was kind of obvious Bay and Lyra were winning this from the start as Bay was not missing out on Mania. The final match just confirmed it. The last leg got good but it was a bunch of shorter and average matches.
Damian Priest comes out and Drew McIntyre hits him from behind. Drew bangs DP's head off the LED's and security breaks it up.
Drew gets in the ring and asks if we are seeing clearly now. Drew says he only tells the truth and says every action is justified, including dropping him. Byron interviews Roxanne Perez. She says she wants to compete for the women's title at Mania since Tiff can't handle the pressure. Tiffany Stratton comes in and says Perez can learn from her. LA hits a BFT on Tama and wins.
Thoughts: It was a nothing match. It was totally by the numbers and they took it very easy here. This was very weak.
Jacob Fatu comes in and superkicks LA after. He then sentons him and hits headbutts. Fatu corner hip attacks him. Fatu double jump moonsaults LA. Fatu then holds up the US Title and double jump moonsaults LA again.
Overall thoughts: It was a weak episode of SD. There were tons of packages. The gauntlet got some time but not enough time. Tiff/Perez was okay and the main was far from anyone's best work. Most of the stars weren't on this one either. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 just for the total lack of effort to make this into a good one. You could totally miss this and miss nothing.
