The Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher) vs Powerhouse Hobbs and Tomohiro Ishii

KT = Konosuke Takeshita

Ishii calls for KT to get in the ring. They shove each other and shoulder battle. They trade forearms and shoulder battle. KT facekicks him then Ishii shoulders him over. Both end up going down.

Kyle and Hobbs get in. Hobbs backs him up in the corner and poses. Kyle hits boots to the gut. Hobbs blocks a ddt by not going down. Kyle is thrown into the corner for gut shots from Hobbs. Kyle takes a forearm then a pounce.

Kyle slams Ishii then pretends to be tripped by Rocky Romero outside. Kyle then hits Ishii from behind. Ishii takes a double shoulder. We go to PiP break and return.

Kyle hits Hobbs and does a "suck it" motion. KT is sent into Kyle. KT hits a big forearm on Ishii then Ishii suplexes him. hobbs comes in and hits shots on both opponents. Hobbs hits a double lariat. Hobbs hits corner attacks.

Hobbs rock bottoms Kyle. KT elbows Hobbs in the head then germans him. Hobbs spinebusters him. Ishii and Kyle get in. Kyle germans Ishii. Kyle half and half suplexes Ishii. Ishii hurricanrana's Kyle off the buckles. Hobbs powerslams KT then does it to Kyle. Ishii sliding lariats Kyle. Ishii headbutts then lariats Kyle for 2.

Ishiis is lifted for a brainbuster from Kyle for 2. Kyle lariats Ishii. Ishii no sells it. Kyle superkicks Ishii then spinning tombstones him. Kyle brainbusters Ishii for the win.

Thoughts: There wasn't a lot of selling here but I liked it. The four worked well together and we had lots of nice action and stiffness in this one. It was all fast moving action here.

Cru do a promo. They say Top Flight has been ducking them for months and ask if they really want this. Lio says they put them in the spotlight. They see Nick Wayne. Action says AR Fox always seems to be around when Top Flight is there. Lio asks if he's gonna help. Nick says he's too valuable for that and says no. Lio says he needs daddy's help. Nick says he doesn't need anyone's permission. He says if he does see AR Fox, it's for him not them.

Max Caster is in the ring. He said he had to drive through a tornado to get here. Max says the fans want to chant his name. Max tries to lead his own chant. Max says the fans couldn't remember the words and are stupid. Mark Briscoe then comes out for his open challenge.

Max Caster vs Mark Briscoe

Max misses a charge and gets hit. Mark chops him in the throat. Mark flying forearms Max. Max is knocked off the top and Mark tope con hilos him through the ropes. Mark hits a jay driller and wins.

Thoughts: Yet another quick loss for Max here. I have no idea what they are doing here or what it is supposed to accomplish.

We get a package on the Kevin Knight and Will Ospreay. they are kind of friendly but each say they are going to win in the Owen Hart Tournament. Will says he respects him but it will be for the title.

Jay White is interviewed. He says he's happy for Kevin Knight being in the Owen Hart Tournament but he doesn't mean it. He says Will gets to avoid him one more time. Jay says Will's words will catch him up to him someday but not today thanks to The Death Riders. Jay says The Riders didn't take him out but gave him a gift - a time to plan and prepare. He says they will regret ever thinking of Jay. He says he's The Switchblade and a cut above.

Cru (Action Andretti and Lio Rush) vs Top Flight (Dante and Darius Martin)

AA = Action Andretti

Cru wait for them in the aisle, get distracted by Leila Gray and get hit from behind.

TF hit punches on Cru then hit corner punches. Darius dropkicks Lio. Lio jumps up and gets atomic dropped. Lio is then pulled into the ropes throat first. AA seated moonsaults Darius outside. Dante dropkicks AA through the ropes. Lio topes Dante and Dante lands hard on the floor.

We go to PiP break then full break and return. AA chinlocks Darius. Darius and AA double clothesline each other.

Dante gets offense in on Lio. Dante dropkicks him off the bottom rope for 2. Lio eye rakes Dante. Dante's leg is held then AA neckbreakers him. Darius takes shots from Cru. Lio lariats Dante then AA springboard lariats Dante for 2.

Dante is saved from a double suplex. All four men fight. Dante topes Lio outside. AA falcon arrows Darius. Dante crucifixes AA and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't exactly the match you would expect given the feud. It was a high flying match and it didn't get the time it needed to be anything special. What we got was fine but I don't know if this was the right match for this feud.

Cru beat up Top Flight after. AR Fox comes in and beats up Cru. Nic hits an os cutter on AR. The six will fight in a trios match on the pre-show for the PPV tomorrow. Nick shakes hands with Cru.

Jamie Hayter and Billie Starkz are interviewed as they face each other in the Owen Hart Tournament. Jamie says she was impressed by her and says she does hold her own. She said she liked her before but likes her now. She asks why Athena is in her business and tells her to keep an eye on her. Billie says she's not a failure and has been trying to prove it to everyone here. She says Jamie will see that in the tournament.

Renee hosts a sit down interview with Daniel Garcia and Adam Cole. Cole has Strong and Kyle with him, Garcia has Menard with him. Cle says DG has been trying to figure out who he is and is still confused. He says he's the TNT champ but he has beaten DG. He says DG has never beaten him. Cole says it's his destiny to win the title. DG says he didn't have to give him a shot at this but he wanted to because he respects what he has done.

DG says he gave him chances but he didn't win. DG says this is his last chance. He says it's been 17 years of chances for him. He said the last 17 years belonged to Cole and the next 17 belong to him. Cole says DG isn't ready and says he will have to whoop that @ss if he doesn't understand it. They get up and stare at each other. 

Cash Wheeler vs Pac

Pac pushes him. Pac side headlock takeovers him. Pac shoulders him over and side headlock takeovers him. Pac shoulders him over. Pac hiptosses him and side headlock takeovers him. Pac bangs Cash's head off the buckles. Pac piefaces him.

Cash shoulders him over several times then hiptosses him. Cash hits a nice dropkick. Pac stalls outside. Pac is lariated off the buckles and Cash is crotched on the top rope. Pac knocks Cash off the apron into the cameraman. Pac asai moonsaults Cash. We go to PiP break and return. Pac corner euros Cash for 2. Pac facelocks Cash then suplexes him. Pac is back body dropped out then Cash topes him.

Cash top rope crossbodies Pac in the ring for 2. Cash hits punches. Cash euros him then lariats him. Cash hits forearms. Pac jumps up and is powerslammed down for 2. Cash misses a top rope headbutt. Pac takes too long on a top rope black arrow then is underhook superplexed. Pac spin kicks Cash, kicks him from behind then rebound germans him. Cash flips Pac with a lariat. Pac superkicks Cash out of the corner. Pac misses a top rope ssp. Cash piledrivers him for 2.

The Death Riders come out. Cope fights Claudio. Yuta gets in the ring and hits Dax with a weapon when Dax gets in front of Cash. Pac then crucifixes Cash and pins him.

Thoughts: I would have had Cash get hit since he was losing here. The match was good and Cash had a nice showing in a rare singles match for him.

Cash is helped up by Dax and Cope after.

Shane Taylor and The Infantry do a promo. Shane says he's sick of letting people walk safe and comfortable around here. He says he's sick of hearing people talk gangster when they aren't that. Bravo says The Ops are The Opportunities. Dean says they slide on Ops like them all the time. They say they are outside and will stay outside. Bravo says they can't wait to disrespect them.

Mike Bailey vs Dralistico

Ricochet is on commentary. Mike trips Dral and cartwheels over him. Dral flying headscissors him. Mike flying headscissors him. Mike hits shots and they stand off. Dral hits chops and Mike chest kicks him. Dral chops him in the corner.

Mike hits a kick flurry and enzugiri's him. Mike gets distracted by Mortos outside and is kicked in the leg. Mike is sent into the rail then superkicked on the floor. We go to PiP break, full break and return. Mike dropkicks Dral off the buckles. Mike spin kicks him in the gut, axe kicks him and chest kicks him. Mike running ssp's him for 2. Mike triangle moonsaults mortos when Dral moves outside. Dral tope con hilos Mike.

Dral hits a springboard codebreaker for 2. Mike spinning high kicks him then does another. Mike then wins.

Thoughts: I was fine with it. It was short and they stuck to what they were good at with the flying and kicks. They didn't get a chance to overdo it here.

Ricochet kicks Mike in the crotch from behind after. Ric then lariats him form behind.

Kris Statlander and Thunder Rosa are interviewed together. They face each other for the first time tomorrow and Rosa says she's looking forward to it. Rosa says it's another personal. She puts her finger in her face. Kris says to send her apologies to her dad as the tournament will go to her. Rosa says she used to be champ. They argue. Rosa slaps her and Kris grabs her, saying she will see her in Round 1.

Harley Cameron and Mercedes Mone warm up in the back. They can't believe the other is their partner. Mone tells her she has this and to stay out. Mone tries to teach her to stretch.

Harley Cameron and Mercedes Mone vs Julia Hart and Athena

Ath and Mone get in each other's faces before the match starts. Mone piefaces Ath and is slapped. HC gets in and trips Ath. She front facelocks her. HC wristlocks her. Ath armdrags her. Hart cradles HC. Hart corner lariats her. HC enzugiri's her for 2.

Hart rolls up Mone then backslides her. Mone throws her backwards. Hart is put in tree of woe and booted by Mone. Hart stares at her from tree of woe. Hart backrolls her for 2. Hart christo's her.

HC throws the puppet in the ring then Mone drops Hart on top of her knees. We go to break and PiP return. Hart's head is banged off the buckles. Ath and Mone fight. Ath facekicks her and dropkicks her. Ath lifts both opponents at once and fallway slams both. She then kips up.

Ath running forearms HC for 2. Ath topes Mone. HC tornado ddt's Ath on the floor. Hart then top rope crossbodies all 3 girls. HC hits forearms on Ath. Ath then powerbombs her. Ath holds on and hits another. Hart misses a top rope moonsault. Mone backcrackers Hart. Ath one arm powerbombs Mone. HC neckbreakers Ath.

HC hits soul foot on Hart then does a wristclutch backdrop on her. Hart does an octopus on her and submits her.

Thoughts: I'm not sure why Hart picked up the win instead of Ath here. It was a decent tag with the four working well together and everyone trying hard. It was better than I expected and I thought it worked out well. 

Overall thoughts: I liked the show. It was mostly all wrestling and the wrestling was all good. It mostly all made sense as well. This could have used some names on it though. I'd give it a 7 out of 10 as I had no real issues with it. There was nothing must see on it though.
