WWE Superstars 3/8/2013 Results and Review

This was taped the same day as Old School Raw, so the Old School Raw set is up. WWE did a great job with it but they totally should do the WWF Wrestling Ring Carts and The Federettes for the next one.

The Uso Brothers vs The Rhodes Scholars

The Scholars said the crowd didn't deserve to see them but nonetheless, they asked them to stand up and applaud them.

The Alley-Us (pronounced Oooohssszz)

The pin

Cody Rhodes got the pin with a Disaster Kick. Good but short match here. The disaster kick was really good but I couldn't get a shot of it and I loved the Alley-Us. That is a great tag team move. They didn't do that much of note but it was a decent match and the crowd was into it.

Tamina Snuka vs Layla

Striker said he wanted to marry Layla. He also called Tony Dawson "Tony Parker".

"Tamina reminds me of J-Lo just from the neck up. Something about Tamina's face that favors that intensive look." - Matt Striker

The pin

Layla got the pin after reversing a Samoan Drop. Good match here with the girls getting a lot of time and Layla doing some stiff shots and a nice comeback. Tamina loses again and I have to wonder what she did as she's been jobbing for the last month straight.

Overall thoughts: Good show with two good matches! Nothing you need to go out of your way for but not a bad way to spend 20 minutes!
