The Best WWE Matches of 2012
Hello everyone,
First of all, thank you for your continued support of my website. I really appreciate each and everytime you stop by and I hope my posts can meet your expectations. It's been quite the year for me and this site, spanning two different countries.
As 2012 comes to a close, it is time to take a look at some of the best of 2012. Due to requests and due to the sheer amount of wrestling I've seen, which is well over 200-300 shows and most likely over 1,000 matches, I will be doing lists of the best of WWE and the best of all wrestling together.
This post will cover the best of WWE from 2012. Before I do this, I would like to note a few things:
- I have seen 95% of everything WWE has put out since August. However, I did not see anywhere near as much before August. Therefore, this list will heavily feature matches from the last 2/3 of the year.
- What I thought was the best of 2012 may not be what you thought was the best of 2012. It doesn't mean either of us is wrong or right. It is strictly based on opinion.
- If I missed something, feel free to let me know what and if you can provide a link to it, I would appreciate it. I cannot rewatch everything but I can make some time for a few matches.
If you are interested in seeing reviews on some of these matches please use the side and search by month. They are all in order.

Observations:
- Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd get my vote for tag team of the year. They were brilliant every time they were paired together and they are so beyond underrated that it isn't even funny. These two are a great high-flying face tag team that I've never heard anyone speak a word of at all. These two were involved(as singles or as tag partners) in 14 of the best 59 matches from WWE that I watched this year. I really hope that they get a chance to shine in 2012 and I hope someone actually recognizes how good they are.
- Antonio Cesaro is the man. He was involved in 12 different matches that I loved and you have to give credit where credit is due. He hasn't even gotten a chance to show his full skillset yet in WWE which is scary. He is the complete package and next to a select few like Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler and Gabriel/Kidd is keeping WWE entertaining.
- Michael McGillicutty is really good, but nobody knows it. He did well early on in my list but he really doesn't appear much on TV. I used to absolutely hate this guy but his loud mouth and goofball style have caught on with me. He's never going to main event but there is no reason he cannot continue to be mid-card fodder for the heels and continue with his poor-man's Arn Anderson style.
- If you aren't watching the B-shows like Main Event, NXT, Superstars and Saturday Morning Slam, you should. None of these are over an hour long and the quality is always there. I've heard people say that you can judge WWE by Raw alone, but if you skip Raw and Smackdown, WWE looks like a completely different company.
