AAA on Fox 5/9/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/05/aaa-on-fox-522026.html

We are in Queretaro, Mexico. JBL, Corey Graves and Rey Mysteio are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive.

Lince Dorado vs. Octagon Jr. vs. Cruz Del Toro

We get a double headlock spot. Lince takes a double dropkick out. Oct enzugiri's Cruz from the apron then top rope diving tornillo armdrags him. Oct sunset flips Cruz and Cruz knees him in the head. Cruz reverse cloverleafs him and Lince breaks it with a legdrop. Lince hip throws Oct then tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him. Lince lariats Oct for 2.

Cruz hits punches on Lince. Lince goes up and over. Lince spinning headscissors him. Lince asai moonsaults Cruz outside. Lince top rope crossbodies him then armbars him. Cruz powerbombs Lince out of a triangle. Oct top rope tornillos his opponents and totally catches Cruz by surprise.

Oct is flipped into an armdrag on Cruz. Oct walks up the ropes and springboard diving headscissors Cruz. Oct tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Lince. Cruz pulls Oct out and sends him to the mat. Cruz tornillo's Lince outside. Oct top rope plancha's Cruz outside.

Oct slingshot tornillo splashes Cruz inside for 2. Lince chops Oct and Oct chops back. Lince handspring stunners Oct for 2. Cruz and Oct trade chops. Cruz superkicks Oct. Oct pump kicks Lince then springboard cutters Cruz. Crush ki krushers Lince. Cruz is up top and Oct kicks him. Oct top rope moonsault slams Cruz for 2.

Oct kicks Lince through the ropes. Oct is crotched up top then in tree of woe. Cruz actually get enough air on the coast to coast dropkick to hit Oct but Oct moves his head up, making Cruz miss. Lince top rope ssp's Oct. Lince brainbusters Cruz and pins him.

Thoughts:
The crowd was a little tired for this. It's too bad Oct messed up the coast to coast dropkick spot but you couldn't really see it unless you rewinded. I would have liked the top rope moonsault slam to count a bit more. Lince winning was a bit of a surprise here. It was okay.

Dorian Roldan runs into Chessman in front of Marisela Pena's office. Chessman says he's going for the GM position. Dorian says says they have know each other for years and says the position is his. Chess laughs and says the one who needs to worry about this is him as he says the position is his.

La Catalina vs. Jessy Jackson

Lady Flammer comes out before the main starts.

They lock up. JJ clean breaks her on the ropes. JJ shoves her and they trade wristlocks. Cat headflips out, JJ takes her down and bangs her face off the mat. Cat hits armdrags.

Cat facekicks JJ then basement dropkicks her. Cat cannonballs her off the apron outside. JJ stomps on her on the ropes then meteora's her on the bottom rope for 2. JJ hits mounted shots on Cat. JJ hit forearms and chops on Cat. Cat back elbows her and bangs JJ's head off the buckles.

Cat high kicks JJ then top rope dropkicks her. Cat corner hip attacks JJ from behind for 2. Cat slaps JJ then JJ elbow drops her for 2. JJ corner shotei's Cat then Cat flying knees her. Cat is up top and is swept on the top buckle. JJ corner meteora's her for 2.

JJ clubs on Cat. Cat superkicks JJ then hip attacks her on the buckles. Cat hits wasteland on JJ. Cat top rope splashes JJ and pins her.

Thoughts: It was a lot more even than I expected. I expected Cat to get to show off here since it was her debut, but honestly, JJ got to show off as much. JJ had a good outing here. Cat's offense was fine, but she needed more shine. This was alright.

Las Toxicas come down and jump Catalina after. Flammer joins in. Lola Vice comes down and beats up Las Toxicas. Lola then gets triple teamed and stomped on. Bayley then comes out and nails one of Las Toxicas as she tries to leave. Bayley, Cat and Lola get the edge and Flammer takes hip attacks before falling out.

Galeno del Mal will be in action next week.

We see the recent history of El Pagano and Psycho Clown.

Psycho Clown says what we just saw is the reason he's here tonight. He says he can't ignore everything that happened and asks Pagano to come out.

Pagano comes out. Clown says things haven't been going well. He says Psycho Circus has fallen one by one and he can't stop thinking that one of them might be taking out Psycho Circus. Clown asks him what he can tell him. Clown says it breaks his heart that it could be Pagano attacking The Circus.

Pagano talks and asks if he believes he would do that after all they went through together. He asks if he thinks he's capable of attacking his own brothers. Pagano says it's not a test, but a game of someone who wants to destroy what is left. Pagano says he has to accuse someone and says Clown should look in the mirror. Pagano says it wasn't him.

Pagano says he wouldn't turn his back on his own family. Clown pushes him and leaves. Pagano tells him to look at hme while he's talking to him. He says Clown will find out that he was never on the wrong side. The War Raiders then jump Clown on the stage. Pagano runs up the ramp and fights The Raiders, though he does it a little slowly. The Raiders back off.

Clown hits his hand on Pagano's shoulder and Pagano swats it way. Both then leave separately.

Thoughts: The mystery continues here. We can all make guesses but only the booker knows.

Overall thoughts: The opening 3-way was alright with lots of flying as expected. Catalina vs Jessy was alright but Catalina should have gotten to show off a bit more. We then got a Psycho Clown/Pagano segment where they questioned each other's loyalty. The show was fine overall. They did a decent job building to El Noche de los Grandes. A lot of the stars haven't been on the show lately though for unknown reasons and that is hurting the build. I'd give it a 6 out of 10. The show was fine but it wasn't the most exciting show.
