WWE NXT 11/4/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/10/wwe-nxt-10272026.html

Note - This got bumped to Wednesday due to the 2026 midterm elections. This ran against WWE Evolve and AEW Dynamite.

We are in the Performance Center in Orlando, FL. Vic Joseph and Booker T are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive.

Chad Gable, Dragon Lee & Rey Fenix vs. The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor, Jackson Drake & Ricky Smokes)

Chad and JD lock up. Chad side headlock takeovers him and gets put in a headscissors then they repeat the spot with different roles. They armdrag each other then JD misses one. Rey corkscrew kicks Brad. Lee superkicks JD. Chad double germans the heels. Brad ushigoroshi's Chad. Brad is stuck in tree of woe and Lee top rope double stomps him. The faces do double submissions on the heels and Lee hits destino on Brad. Lee pins Brad.

Thoughts: It was super fast paced with too much going on at times. It was a bit hard to follow through it was never boring. The heels didn't get much in here and kind of got squashed. The match was okay though.

CM Punk and Shiloh Hill talk in the back. Hill and Punk say they don't want to experience mist of fog. Hill says he didn't get to test out the fog on Naraku but he's glad it worked. Punk says there's something special about him and he has a bright future. Hill challenges him for the NXT Title when he beats Waller tonight. Punk tells him to slow down and says no mist.

Grayson Waller walks in. He says Hill has a bright future but he's asking the wrong guy for a title shot as he will win tonight. He tells him to stick to his trailer park and tells Punk not to forget to wipe his feet. Hill asks Punk to please beat Waller's @ss tonight.

They trade forearms. Paige hits lariats and a single leg dropkick. Paige backdrops her then fisherman suplexes her. Paige hits a lightning spiral for 2. Paige superkicks her and cradle ddt's her for 2. KJ backrolls her and Paige rolls her up. KJ crossfaces her.

KJ ddt's her. KJ split-legged moonsaults but Paige gets her knees up. KJ cradles her and pins her.

Thoughts: It was a little shorter than I expected and average. KJ didn't get a lot in here. Thankfully she won.

Sol Ruca, Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey talk in the back. Sol says Wren was close at Halloween Havoc and she's proud of her. Ken says Kelani will lose the title soon. Sol says Zaria asked her to meet with her.

Izzi Dame comes in and said she wanted to meet Sol, not Zaria. Izzi says Sol is with the losers again. Wren says she's not the same Wren and says she will prove it to her. Dame says like Zaria, she thinks she's something different than what she is.

Cody Rhodes comes out, shakes the hands of the wrestlers in the next match and shakes the commentators hands. He then joins commentary.

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 2026 Final Match - Noam Dar & Romeo Moreno vs. Hank And Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger)

RM wristlocks Tank and Tank side headlocks him. Dar dropkicks him. Tank 2nd rope twisting shoulderblocks RM. RM takes a bulldog and senton for 2. Dar low flying kicks Hank for 2. Dar hits chest kicks on Hank.

Dar spinning back elbows Tank. Dar's team hits stereo cross rhodes on Hank's team. Tank takes a high low and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was obvious Dar and Romeo would win here as they have been getting pushed more. These two teams weren't the best match up together so it wasn't particularly great. It's not like they did anything wrong. I thought it was just acceptable.

Cody gives Dar and Romeo the Dusty Cup after. He says they will get a tag title match next week.

Unsanctioned Match (Special Referee: Michael Chandler) - Cruz Montana vs. Dion Lennox

Dion gets hit from behind during his entrance. Cruz hits punches on him. Dion's head is banged off the apron. Cruz is pushed into the post and steps. Dion suplexes Cruz on the floor. Dion is swept on the apron.

The lights go out. 946 appear and come down. They fight Darkstate. Cutler is slammed through the commentary table.

Cruz powerbombs Dion through a table. Cruz spinning lariats Dion and pins him.

Thoughts: It sucks for Cruz to win here because he's leaving NXT and Dion is not. Darkstate and 946 fighting was a fun surprise. They didn't get too crazy here and didn't bleed and that definitely brought some of it down. It was acceptable but nothing too memorable at all.

John Cena comes out to talk. He says NXT is passion and creativity. He says he's here to talk about the John Cena Classic. He brings out Zilla Fatu and says he's the next invitee in the John Cena Classic.

Zilla Fatu comes out and says it's crazy that Cena is here. Cena says he feels like an honorary Samoan as he fought Rock, Rikishi and Roman. He says he loved Fatu's dad too. Cena said Fatu's family did a lot for him and it's an honor for him to let him in the John Cena Classic.

Fatu says he appreciates Cena and thanks him. Fatu says the fans know he's the main one. He says he will have everyone screaming "hello" on Raw.

We get a Tony D'Angelo video. He looks at the lake and nods his head.

Kam Hendrix asks John Cena who his John Cena Classic opponent is. Cena says he's heard that if you are good, you will tell everyone and if you are great, everyone will tell you. He tells him to focus on his opponent next week - EK Prosper.

GW spinning forearms Punk down. GW hits knees to the head. Punk back body drops GW on the apron. Punk topes GW outside. Punk top rope crossbodies GW for 2. Punk hits punches on GW then he spinning neckbreakers him. Punk step up knees him in the corner. Punk top rope elbow drops GW for 2.

Punk superplexes GW. Kevin Owens comes out and distracts Punk. GW rolls up Punk with the tights and pins him.

Thoughts: It was and wasn't a big upset. Waller winning was a big win for him but Punk wasn't taking the title to NXT. What we got was fine here and was more of a match based around strikes. Owens costing Punk the win works and furthers the Owens/Punk program.

Overall thoughts: It was a different NXT than usual with a lot of guests appearing. The opener was probably the best match on this show. Jordan/Paige was average. Dar and Moreno's tag was acceptable as was Cruz/Dion. The main was fine. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 as it was alright enough, but it wasn't quite great.
