We are in Boston, MA. Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive. 

Triple H is in the ring with a mic. He says we live in a magical time where people don't agree on much. He says everyone has an opinion when it comes to this business. He says everyone has their opinions on who the greatest of all-time is. He says you can measure it a million different ways. He says he can see what is great from all sides and says tonight, everyone in the building can agree on one thing. He says there's only one person at the top of the list. He says there's one person who did it all because he loved the business and wanted to see it elevated to the biggest form of entertainment on this planet. He says that person is the greatest of all-time and says it's his honor to bring him out. He then brings out John Cena.

Cena puts over HHH's intro. He says the one question he has heard is who does he want to face? He says his goal is to leave this business better than he found it. He says he's excited for tonight's tournament. He says SNME is a night to close one chapter and says it's a night of opportunity and he wants to have WWE vs NXT matches on it. He says it's about paving the road ahead and says that's what he wants for this tour. 

He said he wanted to come to Boston one last time. He said he saw his first WWE show in the old Garden and it means everything to feel the greatness in this building. Dominik Mysterio comes out. Dom talks in Spanish. He says Triple H wants to talk about the future and asks what he will do about what happened last week. Dom says he's the greatest champ of all time and his celebration was interrupted by a deadbeat. He says that doesn't happen and he interrupts celebrations. He says he doesn't care what goes on unless it involved him.

Cena welcomes Dom to Boston. Dom tells him to speak when spoke to or he will put him down. Cena says Dom forgot who he's talking to and says he's John Cena. He said he would give him a chance but not tonight as he is invincible. He tells him to choose his words carefully.

He says if Dom picks a fight with him, he will lose. He gives Dom a chance to walk back through the curtain. Dom says Cena will need more than magic to touch him. He says he's not at his peak yet and is better than Cena was at his prime. He says he would whoop Cena's @ss anytime at any era.

Triple H interrupts. He says this seems like a good era and place. Triple H says Dom will defend his Intercontinental Title right now against John Cena.

WWE Intercontinental Title - Dominik Mysterio (c) vs John Cena

We join this in progress. Cena is in the corner. Cena bulldogs him. Dom slides out and teases walking away. Cena hits him in the aisle. Cena is sent into the steps. Cena's head is banged off the steps. Dom hits 3 amigo's for 2. Cena hits punches. Dom ddt's him for 2. We go to break and return.

Cena gets his knees up Dom's slingshot swanton. Cena flying shoulders Dom and blue thunders him. Cena hits a five knuckle shuffle. Cena is thrown into the post shoulder first. Dom grabs a chair outside after taking off a turnbuckle. Dom pretends Cena hits him with the chair and falls down then Cena falls down with him. The ref can't figure out what happened and Cena winks at Dom.

The ref and Dom fight for the chair. Cena goes for an AA and Dom ends up kicking the ref. Cena trips Dom into an STFU. Dom taps out and Cena thinks he has it won and lets go of the hold. Dom misses a belt shot on Cena. Cena AA's Dom. Another ref comes down and Cena gets a 2 count.

Dom 619's Cena. Dom top rope frogsplashes Cena. Cena rolls through and hits an AA on him for the win.

Thoughts: The match got cut up by commercials. It was average with a lot of shenanigans. I'm curious as to what happens next from here. I'm not a fan of Dom losing  (though Cena losing isn't any better) because he's doing well with the title and his run was going well. The segment plus the match took about 40 minutes total.

Cena celebrates with the title and they say he's a grand slam champ. Cena gets on the mic. Cena says thanks to the crowd because the champ is here. 

The roster claps for Cena in the back. Cena shakes Rey's hand. Rey says he needed that. Cena says DOm's a good kid and hopes it was a good night. Cena then runs into Cody Rhodes. Cody congratulates him and they shake hands.

We see Logan Paul arrive.

Last Time is Now Tournament 1st Round - Damian Priest vs Rusev

They lock up. Rusev pounds on him in the corner then DP pounds on him in the corner. DP superkicks him out of the corner. Rusev back elbows him then spinning heel kicks him for 1.

Rusv hits kicks. DP forearms him then flying back elbows him. DP tries to rope walk but is pulled down. Rusev fallaway slams him out of the ring. We go to break and return.

They trade punches. DP flying forearms him. DP broken arrow's him for 2. Rusev running lariats him for 2. Rusev hits kick on DP. They trade kicks to the side. Rusev facekicks him. DP hits a big lariat. DP ropewalk crossbodies him. Rusev eye pokes him and machka kicks him to win.

Thoughts: I liked it but it wasn't great. DP's kicks near the end didn't really hit. I thought this ended a bit prematurely. They mostly traded strikes here.

AJ Styles and Dragon Lee talk to Adam Pearce in the back. AJ says to set them up and they will knock them. Adam says he will get back with challengers for them. Adam asks if they have a team name. Lee says something in Spanish. AJ says they will keep working on it.

Maxxine Dupri comes in. She says training is going well and says to give her Becky. Adam says they can fight next week in a Women's IC Title match. He wishes her luck. Becky Lynch then comes in and drops Max with a punch, asking if she thinks she's ready. She says Max doesn't stand a chance.

CM Punk comes out. He says he's p!ssed off and wants a douchebag to come out. He says he's not in his wrestling gear as he's in Boston and will fight someone in the streets. He says Logan Paul sucker punched him with brass knucks last week. He says will fight LP but not for his belt. He tells him to come out so he can give him the @ss whipping he earned.

Logan Paul comes out. LP asks why he's so mad and asks if it's because he's smarter than him. He says he's smarter than everyone on the building. LP says he has been punched in the face by the greatest boxer of all time in Mayweather and says it was nothing compared to getting flattened by Bron Breakker last week. He says if you don't conform with The Vision, you get cracked every week. He says he thought he knew it all but after getting hit with a tsunami, his eyes have been open to a whole new Vision.

The Vision then come out and stand near LP. Heyman says Punk is the single most unlikable human he has ever met. He says Punk has no friends. He says it's because Punk betrays his friendships. He says Punk is one miserable rotten b@stard and he could not be more unlikable unless his name was AJ Lee.

Punk tells them to come get some. The Vision come down then Jey Uso gets in the ring with Punk. Cody Rhodes then comes out. The six fight. Punk grabs Heyman and Logan grab Punk. Logan is sent into the rails. Cody chairs Bron in the gut. Punk chairs Reed and Reed is double lariated over the top.

Women's Title - Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs Raquel Rodriguez

SV has Nikki Bella with her. RR has Roxanne Perez with her.

RR waistlock takedowns SV. RR hits back elbows in the corner. RR shoulders her over twice. SV spinning headscissors her into a pin attempt. SV flying headscissors her and low dropkicks her. RR blocks the devil's kiss and drops SV face first on the buckles. RR running lariats her for 2. We go to break and return.

RR pulls on SV's neck in the gori special. SV sends RR out. SV jawbreakers RR. SV hits forearms and headbutts her. SV top rope crossbodies her. SV hits a corner meteora for 2. RR blocks a sunset flip and suplexes her off a blocked spinning ddt. RR facekicks her for 2.

RR blocks SV's meteora in the corner and running powerbombsh er for 2. Perez trips SV and Bella stops her. SV's springboard crossbody is blocked and she is hit with a fallaway slam. RR misses a vader bomb elbow then is hit with the devil's kiss. 

SV superkicks her. SV hits a skytwister press and wins.

Thoughts: It didn't click as well as it should have and the crowd didn't care for SV much aside from her devil's kiss spot. They really didn't have any rhythm going here at all.

Perez attacks SV after. Bella then attacks Perez. SV superkicks Perez out. Bella then shockingly nails SV with the title. She then poses with the title over her. 

Adam Pearce goes up to Cody, Punk and Jey in the back. Punk says he has a team and tells Paul Heyman to get a team. Adam asks if he says what he thinks he's saying. Adam calls for William Regal and Regal says, "Wargames". Adam tells them to officially prepare for war.

Last Time is Now Tournament 1st Round - Shinsuke Nakamura vs Sheamus

SN ducks a lock-up. Sheamus side headlocks him and shoulders him over. Sheamus lariats him. SN spinning back elbows him and enzugiri's him. SN foot chokes him in the corner. Sheamus slams him. Sheaus butt drops SN's back. Sheamus hits shots in the corner. 

SN enzugiri's Sheamus on the apron and axe kicks him over the middle rope. SN flying knees him off the buckles. SN is caught off an apron dive and he is slammed on the apron. 

We go to break and return. Sheamus finlay rolls him. Sheamus is hit with a 2nd rope superplex for 2. SN hits diving knees on Sheamus. SN kicks him around and Sheamus tells him to come on. SN hits more kicks. They trade shots. Sheamus uranage backbreakers him.

Sheamus chest clubs SN on the apron. SN kind of does bad slingblade. SN misses a corner knee. SN comes off the 2nd rope and is hit with a pumping knee for 2. SN powerbombs him for 2. Sheamus rolls him up for 2 and is hit with a spinning heel kick. Sheamus pumping knees him and wins.

Thoughts: It was a decent match here with Sheamus doing his usual stuff and SN hitting kicks and knees. I would have liked to have seen this go longer and seen them go out more but what we got was enough.

They hug after.

Adam Pearce has the tumbler to pick more wrestlers for the Cena tournament. He says it'll be Je'Von Evans vs Gunther and Solo Sikoa vs a person he won't name until next week.

WWE Women's Tag Titles - Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair (c) vs The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane)

Flairs team pounds on The Warriors to start. Bliss dropkicks Sane then rolling sentons her. Flair shoulders Asuka over. Flair boots her from the ring and slingshot roll-up's her for 2. Flair enzugiri's her. 

Asuka spin kicks her in the gut. Sane top rope diving forearms Flair for 2. Flair facekicks Sane off the apron. Bliss slides out and takes a diving apron forearm from Sane. We go to break and return.

Bliss hits a double ddt. Flair top rope double crossbodies her opponents. Flair chops her opponents and hits a forward cartwheel lariats on Asuka. Flair fallaway slams Asuka then does it to Sane. Flair top rope moonsaults both opponents for 2. 

Flair and Asuka trade forearms. Asuka uraken's her and spin kicks her in the gut. Asuka superkicks her in the gut. Flair backdrops Asuka. Asuka blocks natural selection and chicken wings Flair. Asuka knees Flair in the face and rolling armbars her. Asuka gets a 2 count on her and buzzsaw kicks her.

Flair facekicks Asuka and figure fours her. Bliss hits a sister abigail ddt on Sane as she comes off the top. Flair does a figure eight to Asuka but Nia Jax and Lash Legend break it up. Sane throws Bliss on the commentary table. Sane top rope elbow drops Flair and pins her.

Thoughts: It was an okay match here with a bunch of shenanigans near the end. I figured Bliss and Flair would lose once Lash and Nia came out.

Bliss is beaten up by the heels after then Flair is as well. Lash/Nia stare down with The Kabuki Warriors. They then beat up Flair and Bliss together. Iyo Sky comes out. She pulls Lash over the top, high kicks Nia and springboard dropkicks The Warriors. Lash forearms Iyo down hard. The heels get the edge. Rhea Ripley then comes out with a face mask on. Rhea superkicks Lash. Nia has a wardrobe malfunction and is sent out. Rhea then throws Sane outside with a razor's edge. Rhea then grabs the mic and says, "Wargames".

Overall thoughts: We had average to good wrestling on the show. Rusev/Priest was probably my favorite match here. We had some happenings here with Cena winning the IC Title and Rhea returning. We also got the two Wargames matches set up for Survivor Series. I thought the show was good overall and would give it a 6 out of 10 total.
