AEW All In: Texas 7/12/2025

Note - This had a unique distinction of going against 2 WWE PPV's, which has never been done before. WWE countered this show with The Great American Bash which started at 3pm. However, this show ran so long than it ran into WWE's second show of the day which was Saturday Night's Main Event XL at 8pm.

AEW Trios Titles - The Opps (Katsuyori Shibata, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Samoa Joe) (c) vs. Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta) and Gabe Kidd

The Opps run to the ring and the fight starts. 4 of the 6 fight outside while Gabe and Shibata trade chops. They lariat each other at the same time and both go down. Shibata stomps on Gabe.

Yuta and Joe go at it. Joe blocks Yuta's trip and side headlocks him. Joe hits punches on Yuta and corner enzugiri's him. Hobbs gets in and suplexes Yuta. Yuta and Hobbs fight in the corner and Yuta gets hit by all 3 opponents.

CC comes in and chops up Shibata. CC and Shibata trade euros. CC hits a corner euroe then takes a corner facekick. Shibata corner dropkicks him.

Joe hits punches on CC then elbow drops him. CC running euros Joe. Joe gets knocked out of the ring then Yuta and Gabe stomp on Joe. Yuta hits corner punches on Joe then bites him. CC dropkicks Shibata while Shibata is on the apron. CC camel clutches Joe.

Joe trips CC then sentons his back. Hobbs comes in and hits corner splashes on his opponents. Gabe hits Hobbs from behind and Hobbs lariats Gabe. Hobbs spinebusters CC for 2. CC pop up euros Hobbs for 2. They try to doomsday device Hobbs but Hobbs powerslams Yuta. Yuta takes corner attacks and a Shibata PK.

CC giant swings Hobbs into the rails outside. Yuta germans Shibata inside. Gabe backdrops Shibata then suplexes him for 2. Gabe headbutts Shibata. Gabe and Joe trade forearms. Gabe bites him. Joe powerslams Gabe for 2. CC and Yuta stomp on Joe. Yuta gets stuck up top, takes a facekick then takes a muscle buster from Joe. Joe pins Shibata.

Thoughts: It was average. It went longer than it needed to and there just weren't a ton of exciting moments or big spots here. The work was fine but this would have been better suited elsewhere.

The faces get attacked after by The Riders. Yuta chairs Hobbs. A chair is put around Joe's neck and CC stomps the chair. Joe is stretchered out after.

Men's Casino Gauntlet for a future AEW World Title Match

Mark Briscoe and MJF are first two in. MJF rolls up Mark then backslides him. MJF cradles him then Mark trips him and chokes him. MJF stomps Mark then arm whips him into the corner. MJF slams Mark then bangs his crotch into his face.

Mark hits chops on MJF then forearms. Ricochet comes out and MJF hits Mark from behind. MJF offers a handshake to Ric and they stomp on Mark together. Mark takes shots to the gut then a boot to the head from Ric.

Bandido is next in. Band hits punches on Ric. Ric slaps him then Band one arm gorilla press slams him. MJF rolls up band for 2. Band is thrown out then MJF is lariated over the top. Mark back body drops Ric over the top. Mark dropkicks Ric through the ropes then running elbow drops Ric from the apron to the floor. Mark apron blockbusters MJF outside.

Ric and Band trade outside. Ric is dropped on the rails. Konosuke Takeshita comes out. KT hits punches on Mark and flying lariats him. KT blue thunders Ric for 2.KT and Band go at it. Band hits kicks and dropkicks him.

Band poisonrana's KT. MJF powerbombs Band on the knee for 2. MJF pounds on him then Mistico comes out next. Mist and MJF stare down. Mist hits punches on MJF. Mist handspring back elbows him. Mist walks up the buckles and corkscrew flips into an armdrag on KT. Mist flying headscissors Band. Mist then top rope plancha's everyone outside.

Mist la mistica's MJF. MJF tries to tap out then Mark armbars MJF with Mist. KT breaks it up. Josh Alexander comes out next. Josh germans Mark then belly to belly suplexes Mist. Josh release germans Ric. Josh drops Band into a slam on the apron then crossbodies his back on the apron. KT then tope con hilos out onto multiple people.

Anthony Bowens comes out next. Bowens hits punches on Josh. Bowens floatover ddt's Josh. He neckbreakers KT then over the back fameassers MJF. Bowens does a weird reverse torture rac slam. Mark and Bowens trade.

Bowens superkicks him. Josh germans Bowens. Ric pumping knees KT. Ric ends up on Josh's shoulders and is thrown into a KT knee from the buckles. Roderick Strong comes out. Rod hits backbreakers and olympic slams KT for 2.

Rod hits chops on Josh. Josh backbreakers Rod and KT pop-up sitout powerbombs Rod. Brody King is in next. King is double teamed but hits a double lariat. King takes a double boot. Band is popped up into a double dropkick. Josh and Kt take corner attacks.

King black hole slams Ric. King sleepers MJF on the apron but MJF eye rakes him. King hits corner cannonballs on 4 people in the corners. King slams Ric. Band top rope frogsplashes Ric.

Ric ends up being the only person in the ring and lariats over the top. Juice Robinson makes his return. Juice hits punches on Ric and slaps his head. Juice hits a corner lariat then a running lariat. Juice full nelson slams Ric. 

The Gates of Agony come in and help out Ric. Toa pounces Juice. Ric hits a top rope ssp on Juice for 2. The Gunns then come out and The Gates go after them. They fight on the ramp and Toa gets chaired. Ric takes a 310 to Yuma. Juice rolls up Ric for 2. The Gunns and The Gates fight to the back.

Kota Ibushi comes out next. Kota hits chest kicks on everyone. Kota running chest kicks King. Kota spin kicks Bowens down. Kota standing moonsaults Bowens for 2.

The Beast Mortos comes out. He knocks over Kota. Mort hits attacks on other opponents and throws Josh into Mark in the corner. Mort backbreakers Ric. Mort spears King then drops Bowens onto his knees chest first. 

Rod offers to hug Mort but Mort headbutts him in the chest. Mist top rope hurricanrana's Mort for 2. Ric running ssp's Mist. Band twisting drops Ric into a knee to the face. KT germans Band and Ric together. Rod then tiger drivers KT for 2.

Josh twisting rack bombs Rod for 2 then Mark stops it with a froggy bow. Bowens twisting bridging ddt's Mark. King fire thunder drivers Ric. Mort pop-up samoan drops Juice. Kota hits a big lariat on Mort. Rod hits end of heartache on Kota.

MJF alabama slams Rod for 2. Rod sick kicks MJF. Max Caster comes out while Bowens is laying on the ramp. He saysh e's the best wrestler alive and says the match is lacking starpower. Max tries to get his chant started.

Rod knocks Max off the apron before he gets in. Mark takes a firmean's carry gutbuster from Rod then lariats him. Mark jay drillers Rod. MJF then steals the pin and pins Rod to win.

Thoughts: It was a long one that could have been shorter. It wasn't that great due to the format of people coming in and out but they did what they could with it. I'd say MJF was the favorite, but we didn't who was coming into this one so it's a bit hard to say. 

Stokeley Hathaway walks. He says FTR is done with The Outrunners. He says FTR will watch tonight's tag title match and be the commentators. Stoke says they hope everyone has a good time.

Adam Cole came out before the TNT Title match and announced that we was vacating the title and is out with an injury. He even brought up the possibility of retiring.

AEW TNT Title - Daniel Garcia vs Sammy Guevara vs Dustin Rhodes vs Kyle Fletcher

Kyle hits facekicks to start. Kyle takes a double suplex, a running knee and a standing moonsault. DG and SG try pin attempts then stand off. Kyle takes a double dropkick. SG then poses and DG dances. SG then tries DG's dance. Kyle hits a double lariat. Dustin hits punches on Kyle.

Kyle facekicks Dustin then leg kicks him. Kyle elbow drops Dustn's leg and punches the knee. Kyle stomps on Dustin. SG and DG trade forearms on the apron. DG spanish flies SG off the apron to the floor.

Kyle michinoku drivers Dustin for 2. Kyle figure fours Dustin. DG figure fours SG at the same time. The four trade strikes.  Kyle is pulled over the top. SG top rope moonsaults outside. DG superplexes SG twice. DG then double superplexes SG and Kyle together for 2. DG hits mounted punches on SG and Kyle. Dustin powerslams DG and SG. Dustin canadian destroyers Kyle then hits cross rhodes for 2.

DG hits shattered dreams on Kyle. SG then hits shattered dreams on Kyle. Dustin then hits one. SG superkicks Dustin on accident. DG crabs SG. SG codebreakers DG then hits a GTH for 2. Dustin breaks up the pin and SG is shocked.

SG is pushed into Dustin. SG hits three amigos on DG. DG gets his feet up on SG's top rope frogsplash. DG ties up SG's legs and Kyle breaks it up. Kyle apron edge powerbombs DG. SG then gets an apron backdrop. Kyle running facekicks Dustin.SG top rope diving cutters Kyle. DG piledrivers SG for 2. Ddustin gets a 2 count on DG. DG sharpshooters Dustin. Dustin then cradles DG and wins.

Thoughts: The crowd didn't care at all about this and brought it down. Dustin winning was a total shock. It was your usual 4-way and it was average. I would have bet money on Kyle winning here. Dustin is now a triple crown champ as he holds the ROH Tag Titles, the ROH Trios Titles and the AEW TNT Title.

The announcers clap for Dustin after. Dustin's nephews, who are wrestlers, come out and hug him as do The Von Erich's.

Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay vs. The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson)

 

 

If Swerve and Will lose, they can't challenge for the AEW Title for a year. If The Bucks lose, they lose their EVP roles.

Will got an Assassin's Creed entrance with ninjas with swords doing a routine. Jojo Offerman (Bray Wyatt's widow) comes out and sings "Ain't Nobody" before Swerve's entrance. Swerve is also wearing eyeliner for some reason. The Bucks come out on a ship with a flag and make the ring announcer read a script.

Will side headlocks Matt then Will takes a double back elbow. SS is put on a Buck's knee and takes a flipping neckbreaker on the knee. SS is tripped and takes a slingshot legdrop. Will takes a double dropkick. A Buck walks up the buckles and does a headscissors + armdrag combo. WIll and SS then take a double northern lights suplex.

Will clubs on Matt. Matt takes a double back elbow. Nick takes a double hiptoss then a superkick +suplex combo. Will flips off of SS' back to corkscrew moonsault Matt. SS is hit with a lariat then a Buck is popped up into a headscissors on Will. SS takes a PK from the apron. Will enzugiri's a Buck. Will is held on the 2nd rope and takes a top rope swanton while bridges. Will is then bridged from the apron and takes a swanton from the apron.

SS fosbury flops outside, lands on his feet and takes a double superkick. Will takes punches to the gut. Will is double stomped on. Will is choked over the 2nd rope. A Buck chinlocks Will. Will blocks a catapult into a kick in the corner then double stomps a Buck's gut. Will hits chops on a Buck. Will hits a handspring double pele kick.

SS hits kicks on The Bucks. SS 2nd rope euros one in the back of the neck then dances. SS takes a double throat thrust. SSS hits a powerslam and rolls into a jumping flatliner for 2. The Bucks take stereo flying headscissors. SS and Will then hit stereo plancha's outside. Nick takes double facekick. Will and SS go up top together. SS does a spiral tap while Will does a corkscrew moonsault outside.

Will takes an assisted shiranui and a running knee to the face. Will is bridged on the top rope and takes a double stomp into a sitout powerbomb. A Buck then walks up the buckles and corkscrew dives outside onto SS. A Buck piefaces Will. They trade shots. A Buck lariats Will. Will hits a hook kick and Will is dropped chest first. The Bucks hit a bunch of superkicks then stereo canadian destroyers. Will and SS no sell them then hit running attacks and sell.

Will and SS are seated on opponent top buckles but get off. SS and Will then hit stereo styles clashes for 2. A Buck takes a top rope double stomp into a stormbreaker for 2. SS is sent into the steps. Nana argues with one of the Bucks and is superkicked. Will is rolled up for 2. Will is hit with a low blow. SS takes a meltzer driver on the floor from the apron. Nick hits a hidden blade on Will. Will then takes a top rope 450 + a top rope moonsault for 2.

Will stops an EVP trigger then gets hit with one for a 2 count. Will rolls up a Buck for 2. Will hidden blades SS on accident. Will takes a poisonrana and an EVPtrigger for 2. Will takes a meltzer driver for 2. Will takes superkicks.

Will and SS get the advantage and a Buck takes a tombstone + top rope double stomp for 2. Will hits a hidden blade for 2. SS hits a swerve stomp off the apron on a Buck. A Buck takes a hidden blade + house call kick and is pinned.

Thoughts: I wasn't a fan of it. It went too long. None of the moves meant much and they kicked out of everything you could imagine. I wasn't surprised by any of it. They had 3 people here who have a habit of overdoing it and they overdid it. The stipulation for this was dumb but at least it finally ends the issues with The Bucks having EVP powers yet only sparingly using them. Some of the double teams especially from Will and Swerve were cool though.

Women's Casino Gauntlet for a future AEW World Title Match

Kris Statlander is first out and Megan Bayne is second. They hit each other and hit forearms. Meg falcon arrows her for 2. Kris olympic slams Meg. Kris moonsaults Meg off the apron. Meg then topes Kris by surprise. Kris high kicks her then hits an F-5. Willow Nightingale is next in.

Willow and Kris trade. Willow low crossbodies her then spinebusters her. Meg flying lariats Willow. Willow takes a double chokeslam. Tay Melo is next in. Tay forearms Meg.

Tay shiranuis Kris off of Meg. Tay pump kicks Kris. Tay escapes an F-5 from Meg but is dropped hard then Tay does a rings of saturn. Penelope Ford comes in and breaks it up despite not being in the match. Ford goes up top. Harley Cameron comes out in a face mask and pushes her off the top. Meg takes a double ddt. 

Anna Jay and Ford fight outside. Ford slaps her. Ford is then chased by Anna and Harley to the back. Thekla is next in. Thek flying headscissors Willow then facekicks her on the ropes. Thek headkicks her there. Thek top rope planchas Kris and Meg outside. Thek buzzsaw kicks Kris for 2. Tay knees Tehk in the face then is pounced by Willow. Willow doctor bombs Thek for 2 and takes a headhunter from Kris. Willow takes a doomsday device from Meg and Kris. 

Julia Hart is next in. Hart has green and black on and comes out with Skye Blue. Hart top rope moonsaults Meg and Kris together. Meg gets hit by Hart and Skye. Hart christos Meg. Tay gotch style piledrivers Hart for 2. Thek forearms Hart over then does her spider walk.

Queen Aminata comes out. Queen gets hit a with forearm and headbutts Thek. They slap each other. Thek hits punches on Queen and spin kicks her. Queen forearms her then spinning fisherman's neckbreakers her. Queen sliding knees Thek on the ropes for 2. Willow sentons Queen. Willow hits mounted corner punches on Hart. Skye superkicks Willow against the top buckle. Thek and Hart do near stereo spider superplexes (they did this spot earlier in the week).

Mina Shirakawa is next in. Mina hits attacks on Hart, Thek and Skye. She hits a tornado ddt then is double kicked while she shimmies. Mina ddt's Meg while tying up Kris' legs. Mina does a figure four on Skye.

Athena is next in. She double lariats Hart and Skye. Ath powerbombs Mina twice. Ath fallaway slams Thek on her back while dropping Tay back. Ath then hits a tope outside and dropkicks Meg into the rails.

Ath tombstones Queen for 2. Ath 2nd rope diving codebreakers Willow. Thunder Rosa is next in. Rosa lariats Ath then back elbows her. Rosa shotgun dropkicks her. Rosa corner dropkicks Ath then dropkicks her against the bottom rope. Rosa russian legsweeps Ath.

Queen flying headscissors Rosa then Kris flying headscissors Queen. Willow then flying headscissors Kris and Meg flying headscissors Willow. Someone else then hits one but we cut away.

Syuri is next in. Syu dropkicks Rosa then running knees her. Syu ddt's her. Syu backcrackers Ath. Mina spin kicks Syu. Syu spin kicks her back. Syu kicks Mina in the back then PK's her. Alex Windsor is next in. Alex hits forearms on Syu then ddt's her over the 2nd rope. Alex olympic slams Syu. Syu flying headscissors Alex then bulldogs her off the casadora. Alex blue thunders Syu. They trade forearms.

Syu knees Alex on the ropes then germans her. Alex germans her and headbutts her in the chest. Syu jumping knees her for 2. All the girls fight in the ring. Hart tarantula's Mina on the ropes then Thek does a hanging headscissors on the ropes. Queen bangs Kris' head off her butt at the same time.

Meg flying kicks Queen. Willow hits a nasty botched death valley driver on Ath on the apron. Alex spinning lariats Willow outside then takes a codebreaker from Syu. Tay forearms Syu down. 

Kris powerbombs Meg off the apron onto all the girls. Rosa running back elbows Mina. Mina diving slingblades Rosa from the top. Rosa forearms Mina then hits kicks. Rosa knees Mina in the face. Mina spinning forearms Rosa then head kicks her from behind. Mina uraken's Rosa. Mina goes for a figure four and Ath hits a top rope diving o-face on her to win.

Thoughts: The finish was random here and Ath's win wasn't built up well at all. I don't get the logic behind bringing Syuri/Alex in here just to lose and I can't say I love Megan Bayne losing here either. Britt Baker not coming out just confirms to me that her run in AEW is done. There were a lot of sloppy moments here and it went a long time. It wasn't great or anything though not as bad as it could have been. Athena took a really nasty looking death valley driver on the apron. 

AEW Tag Titles - The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) (c) vs. JetSpeed (Kevin Knight and "Speedball" Mike Bailey) vs. The Patriarchy (Christian Cage and Nick Wayne)

FTR come out with Stokeley Hathaway before it starts. The Hurt's have rappers singing their song.

The Hurt's attack their opponents to start. SB stomps CC in the corner then throws him out. SB then stomps and pounds him outside. MJF eye rakes Mike outside. Mike is sent into the steps then Kevin is backdropped on rail top.

Nick is sent into the rails and Mike is too. Bobby pounds on Mike in the corner. Mike hits kicks. Bobby throws CC in. Mike topes CC and Nick outside. Mike pump kicks Bobby off the apron. SB takes a double clothesline over the top. Mike and Kevin hit stereo topes outside. Mike and Kevin hit double shots on Bobby and Nick. Kevin standing frogsplashes Nick. Bobby throws Kevin over the top by his head. Kevin is popped up and lands face first on the steps. 

Nick pounds on Kevin. Kevin takes a double hiptoss for 2. CC hits mounted pounces on Kevin. Kevin hits a double dropkick on CC and Nick. Mike running ssp's Nick for 2. Nick jawbreakers Mike. CC takes a facekick from Mike. SB then running lariats Mike. SB ankle locks CC. SB pumping knees Kip Sabian off the apron and lariats CC over the top. Bobby hits a high spinebuster on Mike. SB release germans Mike over the top onto a bunch of people outside.

Bobby hits corner spears on Mike and suplexes him for 2. SB slams Mike three times. SB bangs Mike's head hard off the 2nd buckle. Mike enzugiri's SB. Bobby twisting drops Mike off of his shoulder for 2. Bobby gorilla presses CC, Mike kicks Bobby in the leg and CC falls down on him. Bobby is then landed on by Mike and CC.

Kevin tilt-a-whirl backbreakers CC. Nick cradles Kevin for 2. Kevin dropkicks SB. Mike's top rope hurricanrana is blocked by SB, then Kevin jumps and hurricanrana's both over. Mike and Kevin then do stereo dives for 2 counts.

SB release germans Kevin high twice. Nick handspring cutters Kevin. Nick then triangle cutters Mike on the apron and hurts his own back. CC splashes Kevin for 2 when MVP distracts the ref. Kevin back enzugiri's CC. Bobby corner lariats CC then hits corner spears on him and Kevin. Bobby neckbreakers Kevin. Bobby dominators Nick. SB spinning heel kicks CC. Kevin top rope diving lariats SB.

Nick dragon suplexes Kevin. Nick is in the electric chair on the apron. Kevin top rope dropkicks Nick and Nick is flipped onto SB and Kip. Mike and Kevin then do stereo dives out.

CC is pushed into FTR at commentary. CC knocks FTR off the apron. Bobby rolling spears CC for the win.

Thoughts: It went longer than it needed to but the match did get the best out of Mike/Kevin/Bobby/Shelton. Shelton's german over the top rope on Mike was a great spot and Nick taking an electric chair dropkick off the apron to the outside was wild to. The Hurt's won as expected here and they seemed to set up a feud with FTR. I did like this, just it could have been a lot shorter.

FTR surround CC in the ring. Nick and Kip come to help out CC. Nick then shockingly turns on CC hitting a killswitch. Mother Wayne laughs and Kip also seems to support this. Mother Wayne slaps CC. CC is set up for the conchairto and Cash gives Nick a chair. Cope then comes out with the stick with nails. Cope comes down and cleans house. He double spears FTR. Cope spears Kip.

CC begs off from Cope lifts him up. Cope tells him to go home and find himself. 

AEW Women's Title - Toni Storm (c) vs Mercedes Mone

Mone comes out with cheerleaders and a converitable. Her dress has a list of names she has beaten on it. Toni had a black and white entrance with an old school theater graphic on the tron and Luther dressed up in a hat and trenchcoat.

They lock up. Toni backs her up in the corner and they grab each other. They stare each other down on the apron and Mone tells her to get in. Toni then rolls in and poses. Mone headscissors her into a roll-up. Mone backrolls Toni then 2nd rope diving armdrags her. Mone crossfaces her. Toni spanks Mone.

Toni armdrags Mone then basement dropkicks her out. Toni teases a dive then does Mone's dance. She then twerks. Toni hip attcks Mone off the apron. Toni gets on Luther's shoulders and throws Mone off the apron.

Mone kicks Toni off the apron. Luther catches Toni then Mone meteora's both. Mone then holds up the AEW Women's Title. Toni rams Mone into the commentary table. Mone sunset bombs Toni then basement dropkicks her. Mone sunset bombs her into the buckles. Toni is on the apron and Mone slides through her legs and powerbombs her on the floor. Mone then mocks Toni in the ring.

Mone hits hair mares on Toni then she meteora's her for 2. Mone headscissors Toni. Mone germans Toni. Mone meteora's Toni on the ropes for 2. Mone hits slaps on Toni. Toni lariats and thesz presses Mone. Toni then hits mounted shots. Tony sky highs her for 2.

Toni fisherman suplexes Mone. Mone tornado ddt's Toni for 2. Mone armbars Toni. Mone pulls Toni's arms backwards. Toni backbreakers Mone. Mone armbars her. Toni catapults Mone's throat into the bottom rope. Mone hits suplexes on Toni.

Mone top rope splashes Toni but Toni gets her knees up. Toni germans her. Toni corner hip attacks her then hits a storm zero for 2. Toni does a grounded chickenwing on Mone. Mone bites the arm. Mone ankle locks Toni. They trade forearms. Toni headbutts her and both go down. Mone rolls her into a crucifix then backrolls her for 2. Mone hits the money maker for 2. Mone kisses Toni then Toni tiger drivers her for 2. Mone grounded kimura's Toni.

Toni flips her over back into a drop ala Minoru Suzuki. Toni's nose is busted open. Mone side headlocks Toni. Toni storm zero's Mone three times for 2. Mone cradles her for 2 then goes for the crossface. Mone backcrackers her. Toni hits a corner hip attack. Mone headbutts Toni on the buckles. Mone is crotched up top and Toni kisses her. Toni 2nd rope storm zero's her and wins.

Thoughts: It was fine but nothing too great. They didn't overdo it here. I think it needed some more big exciting spots to really put this one over the edge and they definitely could have used more of a story. I was a bit surprised to see Toni win but Mone winning would have further pushed the Mercedes Hogan stuff and gotten her legit heat.

AEW Unified Title - Kazuchika Okada (Continental Champ) vs Kenny Omega (International Champ)

Kenny had druids and a guy signing for his entrance. He also walked through his logo which had fire on it..Jim Ross is on commentary and Kota Ibushi is with Kenny. They lock up and Kenny shoves him. Kenny hits chops. Kenny facekicks him. KO jumps over the back and bulldogs him. Kenny plancha's him outside.

Kenny misses a top rope crossbody. Okada elbow drops him. Kenny finlay ropes him then Okada gets his knees up on Kenny's asai moonsault. Okada hits spears to Kenny's gut. Kenny hits punches. Okada flapjacks him then sentons him. Okada steps on Kenny's injured gut. Kenny hits chops. Kenny is sat on the top rope and Okada dropkicks him down. Kenny's back is rammed into the rails. Don callis takes cheap shots on Kenny. Kenny's head is then banged off the commentary table.

Okada ddt's him on the commentary table. Ibushi checks on Kenny outside. Okada ddt's him inside for 2. Okada kneels on his chest and pulls his head. Okada elbow drops his gut. Okada hits forearms and knees him in the gut.

Okada hits spears to the gut and facekicks him. Kenny hurricanrana's him. Kenny tope con hilos him. Kenny hits a top rope dropkick to the back of the neck for 2. Okada death valley drivers him. They fight on the buckles. Kenny cross-legged superplexes him for 2. Okada gut busters him on the shoulder. Okada top rope elbow drops Kenny. Okada knees him in the gut. Okada short arm lariats him. Kenny hits punches on Okada and knees hm in the chest. 

Kenny hits a pumping knee for 2 in the chest then the back. Kenny top rope dragon suplexes Okada but Okada turns around and lands shoulder/face first. Kenny of course only gets a 2 count for that one. Kenny pumping knees Okada.

Okada spinning tombstones him then rainmakers him for 2. Kenny germans him. Rocky Romero gets on the apron. Kota Ibushi pulls him down and sends him into the rail. Don callis gets on the apron. Kenny grabs him. Kenny pumping knees Okada then hits a one-winged angel. Don pulls the ref out on the count and stomps him.

Another ref comes out. Kenny pumping knees Okada on the ropes. Okada hits a rainmaker for 2. They trade forearms. Okada forearms him in the gut. Kenny pumping knees him. Okada dropkicks him. Kenny cradles him off a rainmaker attempt for 2. Okada spinning emerald flowsions him then hits a rainmaker for the win.

Thoughts: It was pretty similar to the last Okada/Kenny match that I didn't like and pretty similar to Kenny's usual big singles matches. He sells hard early and makes a body part the important part of the match. It then gets dropped in favor of big moves half way through and never mentioned again. They did too much here with Okada being able to recover from a top rope dragon suplex and an OWA. This also didn't have a long finishing stretch and they definitely try for the big epic match here. The Don Callis stuff also didn't help. I didn't like this one.

AEW World Title - Texas Death Match - Jon Moxley (c) vs Adam Page

 

There's a guy with a guitar and a lady whistling for Page's entrance. The Death Riders get driven into the arena through the back in a yellow pick-up truck.

Mox chest kicks him and they each hit forearms. Mox gives him the finger and Page flurries on him. Page stomps on him in the corner. Mox hits corner punches on Page. Mox takes him down and Page forks him in the head. Mox gets busted open hardway in seconds and is bleeding a bunch.

Mox takes him down by the arm and tries to push barbed wire into Page's face. Mox wraps the wire around Page's forehead. Page is busted open. Mox grabs a barbed wire chair. Mox chairs Page in the gut with it then slams Page on it. Mox hits crossface shots on Page then punches the cut. Page punches Mox in the head. Mox boots the barbed wire chair into Page's face.

Mox sets up a table outside. Page bites Mox's head up on the buckles. Mox cutters him. Mox has broken glass bottles on the mat and he stomps them into smaller pieces. Mox rubs the broken glass in Page's face. Mox sunset flips Page then drags Page's back in the broken glass.

Mox piledrivers him. Page hits slaps. Mox hits knees to the body and face. Mox piledrivers him again. They fight on the buckles. Mox puts barbed wire around Page's back and slaps his back with it. Mox is powerbombed onto the tops of two chairs back to back.

Page spinning forearms him with barbed wire. Wheeler Yuta then comes in and chairs Page. Page no sells it and punches him with barbed wire. Page hits an angel's wings. Marina Shafir gets on Page's back. Page death valley drivers her off the apron through a table.

Mox is sent into a chair between the buckles then takes deadeye on glass. Claudio Castagnoli comes in and beats up on Page. Yuta then joins in. Will Ospreay comes out and helps out Mox. Gabe Kidd then comes down and Will is triple teamed. 

Gabe piledrivers Will on the floor. CC stomps a chair into Will while he lays gut first on the floor. Mox and Page fight on the apron. A stretcher is brought out for Will. Mox sleepers Page then suplexes him off the apron through 2 barbed wire tables.

Will is stretchered out. Mox and Page trade forearms. Mox bites Page's face then lariats him. Mox hits a nasty death rider on an open chair. Page gets up before the 10 count. Mox lariats Page.

Mox points at Claudio and Yuta gives Mox a plastic bag. We then see Mt. Everest on the tron. Darby Allin appears and says he's coming to take everything from Mox. Bryan Danielson comes out in a Blue Panther mask and flying knees Yuta. Bryan hits kicks on Claudio and Gabe. Bryan then topes both.

Claudio's head is banged into the post and Bryan hits leg kicks on him. Darby then comes down from the top of the stadium on a wire. Darby then lands on the apron and stares down Mox. Page hits a big lariat on Mox. Darby top rope coffin drops The Death Riders outside. Page buckshot lariats Mox. 

Page hits deadeye off the apron through a table on Mox. Shafir helps Mox up before the 10 count. The Young Bucks come out and double superkick Page. Page takes an EVP trigger. Mox brings out a bed of nails. Mox does a bad curbstomp on Page's face on the nails. Page then takes a paradigm shift ddt on the nails. Page gets up before the 10 count. Mox asks Shafir for the key to the briefcase. Shafir goes up for the briefcase. Prince Nana appears and handcuffs Shafir to the table.

Mox tries to help out Shafir. Swerve Strickland comes out and hits The Bucks with Page's chain. Swerve hands Page the chain. Page punches Mox with the chain. Page hangs Mox with the chain but Mox pulls Page over the top. Page buckshot lariats Mox onto the bed of nails. Page then hangs Mox with the chain over the top. Mox does some great selling and taps out. Page wins!

Thoughts: This was a wild one with the blood coming out from the start. There were like 10 different people involved in this one and we had big moments with Darby and Bryan Danielson returning and of course Mox finally losing. The mid portion of this got a little dull but the ending was great and there was a lot of different stories going on here with Mox/Page recreating the hanging spot from their last texas death match, Page/Swerve, Bryan vs The Death Riders and Darby vs The Death Riders. I wouldn't say it was a 5 star wrestling match but the run-in's followed up on a lot of stories and with Mox losing at the end, it all came together. It was a great presentation overall but I'm not sure if it will hold up longterm as people seeing this won't have to deal with the long Mox title reign that wasn't always fun. They did all they could here to go all out and they did a great job with it.

Page takes the belt out of the briefcase after and gets big fireworks. 

Overall thoughts: As expected, it was an extremely long PPV really only rivaled by AJW Big Egg Wrestling Universe and the Dreamslam shows. It didn't need to go as long as it did. I missed the first hour live and still couldn't finish the show in one sititng. The trios title match and the TNT Title match (which got changed anyway) could have been cut. The gauntlets should have also been made shorter as the men's one did not need to go 34 minutes.

The trios title match was average. The Men's Casino Gauntlet was your usual multi-man match and was nothing that great. Nobody cared about the TNT Title match and I thought it was average as well. The Bucks vs Swerve/Will was what you expect as they had 3 guys who love to overdo it and boy did they here. The Women's Casino Gauntlet was also not that great. I liked the tag title match but it went long. Toni/Mone was fine but nothing too great. Kenny/Okada was the usual big Omega singles match where Kenny sells hard early, forgets about it and they nuke each other with big nukes without selling much. The main had possibly a record 10 outside people getting involved. The match was mostly based around hardcore spots but all the run-in's brought various stories together and made for a great spectacle and presentation. Mox losing finally was also nice.

There were 9 matches on this show. All of them got ample time to play out and with it being a big show, everyone tried hard. For overall presentation, the show easily gets a 10/10. AEW knows how to do big PPV's and goes all out for them with fireworks, big entrances, surprise returns, debuts, big spots and matches that get as much time as they need. I would rate it a 7 out of 10 total though. The show was too long. The gauntlets didn't impress. I liked the trios match, the tag title match and the main was clearly the big highlight on this show, but that wasn't for the wrestling, it was for the stories involved. I also didn't think Kenny and Okada truly tried for a classic when they were supposed to here. I thought it was good overall and a great PPV presentation.
