Vic Joseph got married and is out this week, though they say its due to him being stuck in immigration. Byron Saxton is replacing him.

Pretty Deadly come out in kings outfits.They have gavels say this is the Address of the NXT Commenwealth. They call each other lords and say they are the top of the tag division. They say they beat everyone in the division already and say they have Briggs and Jensen's number - 1-800-UGLY-DENIM. They call Enofe and Blade, "Sweater Vest and Oily Ab Man". They then call the Creeds, "The Boring Brothers". Pretty Deadly said they should be tag champs forever then The Brawling Brutes came out, minus Sheamus. Ridge said they came to see how tough they are face to face. Ridge said all PD does is talk and said they want them to prove how tough they are. They then said it's Tuesday, so it means it is fight night and they attacked them. Carmelo Hayes then came out with Trick Williams for his match.

We see Toxic Attraction arrive in the parking lot earlier. Alba Fyre hits Gigi and Jacy with a baseball bat then Alba goes into the SUV and it drives away. They called the parking lot, "the most dangerous place in NXT".

Carmelo Hayes vs Oro Mensah

Oro has a dancing girl silhouette and those movie theatre style guard rails for his entrance. Melo pushes him then Oro grabs an arm. Melo pulls him down and Oro upkicks him then armlocks him. Melo grabs the hair and Oro flips off him in the corner. Oro armdrags him, Melo throws him down from a wristlock and he kips up. Melo does a basketball taunt then Oro dropkicks during it. Oro headscissors him then hits a nice overhead exploder.

Melo goes outside and is plancha'd then Oro gets his head banged off the post. Melo does a slingshot into a ddt on the apron. Oro gets his neck dropped over the top rope then Melo rolling napmares him. Oro rolls him up then is superkicked. Melo does a springboard clothesline and has his head banged off the middle buckle. Oro back body drops Melo then release germans him. Oro flipping koppo kicks him then asai moonsaults him.

Oro spinning heel kicks Trick in the corner hten takes a big codebreaker. Melo top rope legdrops the back of his neck as he is bent over and wins it.

It was fine. There was a lot of flying here and probably not enough selling for all of it.  They tried to give Oro the rub here, but I don't know if that one quite hit.

Melo gets on the mic after. He says he was told he was on a losing streak then says, "losing streak where?". Chase U comes out.

We see clips of Kemp attacking Brutus Creed last week.

We see Creed getting checked on in the back with Julius and Ivy Nile there. They say they cannot clear Creed. Duke Hudson comes in. He said he wanted to see what 10 chair shots to the back looks like then Julius Creed said he'd give him more than 10. They argue and end up agreeing to a match this week. 

NXT North American Title Qualifier - Andre Chase vs Von Wagner

They trade punches and Chse goes down. Chase is pushed into the corner and takes corner spears. Chase works the leg then is lariated. Chase has his head banged off the mat and takes stomps. Chase dragon screws him and Von slams him. Chase knee dropkicks him and hits a punch combo. Chase russian legsweeps him and does the C-H-A-S-E-U stomps. Mr. Stone gets up on the apron and Thea puts him on her shoulders. Stone throws Bodhi's flag then is slammed by Thea on the floor. Chase gets hit in the back by Von then rolls him up for 2. Von running facekicks him  and does his death valley driver to win it.

It was short and the main highlight here was the brawl outside. Not too much to this one.

Melo says it doesn't matter who wins then Wes Lee jumps on him while he's at the boot and attakcs him. 

Sanga talks with Nathan Frazer. They both talk about recent losses and NF said he got himself into a 1-1 score with Axiom. Sanga says if he can't win it, he hopes NF becomes champ at Halloween Havoc.

Sanga's old partner Veer then walks in.

Lash Legend talks about dropping Wendy Choo with her boot. 

We see a guy in a red hoodie give out buttons. Waller arrives in the parking lot and says something to security. The person in a red hoodie is kind of a recurring gimmick at this point, though the character is unnamed. He did something with Enofe and Blade a few weeks ago and they were trying to figure out who is under the red hoodie on their podcast.

Lash Legend vs Wendy Choo

Lash hits Wendy with a pillow to start then Wendy flurries on her. Wendy flying dropkicks her then running kicks her in the corner. Wendy tries to crossbody her off the apron then takes a backbreaker over the knee. Lash hits her from behind then chokes her over the middle rope. Lash then rebounds the rope to send Wendy into the upper rope.

Lash does a taunt then an elbow on Wendy's back for 2. Lash grabs her by the hair and slams her against the mat. Wendy trips and basement dropkicks her then cartwheels into a corner splash. Wendy is caught off the 2nd rope then rolls up Lash for 2. Wendy does her top rope inverted splash and wins it.

It wasn't too bad for Lash standards but it wasn't anything special and Lash hasn't improved much over the last year.

Wes Lee is interviewed. He said what he did to Melo was a receipt for him trying to end his career. Wes talks about wanting the North American title then Stacks comes in. Stacks says Wes hit Tony D's leg and broke it. Stacks says he knows how to make things look like an accident but he knows Wes hurt Tony on purpose. He said Wes' actions have consequences.

We see clips of Gallus being arrested last week. They say they are suspended and say they will be back soon enough.  They talk about PD and Bron. They tell Bron they just aren't coming back for tag team gold only and say soon it will be Gallus On Top.

We see clips of Kayden and Kacy winning the women's tag titles. They then talk in the back. Kayden calls her a goody two shoes and Kayden says they are different. She said she wanted to do this since she was little. Kacy said she did gymnastics and fell in love with wrestling. She said she took time away and they siad they wanted to be tag champs together. They say Nikkita/Zoey are a big question mark and say they know T-A wants the titles back.

NXT Women's Tag Titles #1 Contenders - Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne) vs Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons

Lyons takes a snapmare and blocks a kick to the back by Gigi. Lyons back elbows her then Zoey forces Jacy back. Zoey rolls up Jacy and trades roll-ups with her. Zoey 2nd rope twisting crossbodies Gigi then Lyons flurries on Jacy. Lyons thrust kicks her then Zoey springbord dropkicks Gigi. Kacy and Kayden are shown watching in the back as we go to PiP break.

We return and Lyons takes a double leg sweep then a Jacy senton. Jacy works over Lyons then Lyons rolls her up. They pump kick each other at the same time. Zoey gets the hot tag in and beats up on Gigi. Jacy sliding knees Gigi then Gigi takes a superkick into a german for 2. Jacy superkicks her opponents then Zoey does a swinging flatliner on her. Gigi STO's Lyons then Jacy neckbreakers Lyons. Lyons spin kicks Jacy then Jacy spinning forearms Zoey. Lyons trips Jacy and pulls her out then Zoey flips Gigi into her knee. Zoey plancha's Jacy then Lyons does her jumping split on Jacy to win it.

They kept it moving here with a fast pace and I thought it was decent.

We see Ilja Dragunov talking about pain. He said pain makes you feel alive. He said injuring his ankle though made him feel agony as he had to give up his NXT UK title. Ilja said it should have been him against Bron and said he can't change the past. He said he can change the future and said Bron is stepping in the ring wit ha machine. Ilja talks about JD McDonagh then says he will suffer and endure pain to win the NXT title at Halloween Havoc. He then says long live the czar.

The Grayson Waller Effect

GW says he knows Apollo Crews is watching but can't do anything because security is there. He brings out Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez. GW said he didn't have a booster seat for Perez. Cora asks how many people Perez had to cry to in order to get a rematch with her. Perez said everyone wants to see her beat Cora up.

They argue. Cora said Perez was more internet hype then talent and said she's not good enough to be part of the generation of Jade. Perez said nobody was buying Jade's nice girl act and was going to say she was full of sh!t but GW interrupted them. GW said they would play pick your poison in 2 weeks and could cheese each others opponents. GW then sayd their match will be a spin the wheel, make the deal match. GW said they should spin the wheel right now. He said both girls suck then said he will spin the wheel. Gw goes up to the wheel and sees the druid there. He checks to see who is under the hood and said he knew it wasn't Apollo Crews. GW chants for "coal miner's glove" but the result is a "weapons wild match". The girls go to fight in the ring and security comes to stop them. GW films himself on his phone then Apollo Crews shows up from behind and drags him under the ring. GW comes out with red eyes like Crews did and GW crawls to the back with Crews stalking him. We see Ivy checking on Julius Creed before his match. 

I didn't like them spinning the wheel here as the point of it is to not know the match until right before.

We see the Schism talking to the red hoodie person in the back. They said this person didn't accomplish their mission and said they are disappointed. They said this person needs to be better.

Julius Creed vs Duke Hudson

Duke clubs him over the back to start. Creed hits a big powerslam then Julius hits a big downward clothesline and wins quick.

Disappointing as this could have been good and Duke is better than this. No idea why this happened.

Brutus comes down and pounds on Duke Hudson after. Julius and Ivy try to stop him. Damon Kemp talks from the riser in the crowd after. Julius says Kemp is arrogant and he can't wait to get him. Kemp said Julius might be his brothers keeper, but he is his b!tch. Kemp says if Julius beats him, he will give Kemp another match but there's a catch. Julius warns Brutus of this. Kemp says when he beats Julius, Brutus is gone from NXT, not Julius. Brutus accepts. Julius says there is nobody colder than him and he has ice in his veins. Julius says it won't be good enough to pin or submit Kemp, he said they have to fight in an ambulance match. Kemp says it sounds good and tells him to tell Roddy to make room for him. Julius tells him to get his sh!t together as he is waiting for him. I though tthe set-up for this was a little too complicated.

We see JD McDonagh watching clips of Ilja and Bron. JD said both guys are the same - boundless energy and no braincells. He said they will go see who the toughest is and he will just let the two animals tear each other apart. He said it won't be the strongest man who walks away champ, but the smartest. Jd said we will call him NXT champ when the lights go out.

Hank Walker is talking with security in the back. Hank talks about Xyon Quinn then Quincy Elliot walks in. Quincy said he p!ssed off Xyon and tells him to watch out for him. Security chants for him as does Quincy.

Axiom talks about his final match with Nathan Frazer. He said when you think of trilogies, you think of comics, but this is real life, not fiction. He said the first two matches were close and could have gone either way. He said their next match will be even closer. He said he gets to write the final chapter of their trilogy.

Xyon Quinn vs Hank Walker

Xyon spears him in the corner to start then Hank armdrags him. Xyon hits a big spinebuster on him and then hits him as he is tied up in the ropes. Xyon backdrops him then hits headbutts. Hank lariats him in the corner then Thesz presses him and pounds on him. Hank bangs Xyon's head off the buckles and corner splashes him. Xyon flying forearms Hank and wins it.

It was short and fine for what it was. It's been a year but it doesn't feel like Xyon has improved much.

Xyon goes to hit him after then Quincy Elliot walks in. Xyon backs off.

We see red hoodie person again and Grimes tells this person not to worry about Gacy. The Dyad attacks Grimes and sends him into a box. Jagger hits Grimes with a trash can then Gacy does as well. Gacy says job well done, hugs the red hoodie person and says, "Welcome to the Schism's tree".

The Brawling Brutes are in the back then Briggs and Jensen walk in. They wish them luck and say they want the first shot when they beat Pretty Deadly for the tag titles. Enofe and Blade then walk in and do the same. B&J argue with Blade and Enofe and Butch bangs a chair to shut them up. Ridge says its fight night and the two tag teams then argue as the Brutes leave.

Bron Breakker is interviewed. He said Halloween Havoc will be a dog fight. Javier Bernal walks in. He said he is a future NXT champ and said Bron shouldn't be in a triple threat. Bron said his heart and anger got him into triple threats before and Javier's stupidity might make him ask for a match with Javier next week. Javier did good here.

NXT Tag Titles - Pretty Deadly vs The Brawling Brutes

Ridge hiptosses Elton then Kit. Kit takes a butterfly suplex + dropkick combo. Butch works Kit's fingers and pulls on them. He then stomps the arm. Elton stomps on Butch then Kit takes double clubs over the top rope. Kit is hit off the apron onto the floor.

We go to break and return. Kit has Butch in a cobra clutch. They trade shots and Butch hits some chops. Ridge shoulders Elton then flying shoulders him. Ridge slams Kit then powerslams Elton on Kit. Ridge hits a big lariat on Elton. Kit gets on Ridge's back and Butch top rope sunset flips Kit. Butch moonsaults off the apron onto Elton then rebound germans Kit and Elton. PD does their double team lungblower on Butch then they double shotei Butch. Butch ste up enzugiri's Elton then Kit flips Butch with a shotei.

Ridge lariats Elton over the top then Butch armbars kit. Elton rolls Kit into a pin on him then Butch splits Kit's fingers. Butch hits his finisher on Kit but Elton puts Kit's foot on the ropes. Ridge goes after Elton and Elton tries to hit the ref but goes over the top. Kit takes an emerald flowsion + superkick combo then Imperium comes down. Ridge gets clipped then takes a spilled milk for the Pretty Deadly win. The Brutes and Imperium brawl to the back after

Not real sure how the ref missed the interference here. There was some good stuff here but I felt like the flow was a little off mostly due to Ridge.

Blade and Enofe come out after. They say they are ready and then Briggs and Jensen come out. They motion to PD too and PD holds up the belts to end the show.

Overall thoughts: Good show overall with a ton of things happening.
