WWE Monday Night Raw 12/15/2025

We are in Hershey, PA. Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett are on commentary. 

We see clips from SNME with John Cena's retirement.

Gunther comes out to talk. He says he did what he said he would do and made John Cena give up. He says Cena tapped out like a little b!tch when he tapped out. The crowd boos him and chants, "you suck" then Gunther walks away. Gun the comes back and poses on the commentary table. He says he made Cena tap out like a little b!tch. He says it's his time now and is the man that made John Cena give up. 

Gutnher then walks to the back and we see him walk around back there. He looks at Alpha Academy. Otis says Gun thinks he's pretty good and Gun says he does. R-Truth tells Gun he's a piece of trash. Adam Pearce asks Gun if he's proud. He says Gun walked all over his legacy. He says doing that doesn't make him a ring general, it makes him an @sshole. Adam then tells him he's done for tonight and to find the exit. Gun then walks out to the parking lot. AJ Styles is next to his car but doesn't say anything. Gun rolls down the window and does Cena's "you can't see me" hand motion.

Thoughts: Gunther had some fun here and they did a nice job of showing the faces getting mad about it. We'll see where it goes.

We see various wrestlers arrive.

The Uso's (Jimmy and Jey Uso) vs The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods)

Grayson Waller is with The New Day. Jimmy side headlocks Kofi. Kofi reverses it. Jimmy shoulders him over. Kofi misses a corkscrew kick and they stand off. Jimmy goes up and over and uppercuts him. Jey backsplashes Kofi and back enzugiri's him. Woods lariats Jey from the apron and Kofi baseball slides Jey off the apron.

We go to break and return. Jimmy gets tagged in. He hits lariats on Kofi and superkicks him. Jimmy corkscrew kicks Kofi and corner hip attacks him. Jimmy gets distracted by Grayson Waller and Kofi forearms Jimmy off the apron. Waller sends Jimmy into the post. Jey comes over and Woods jumps on him off the apron.

Kofi stomps Jimmy in the corner then Woods stomps him too. Woods low dropkicks Jimmy. Jimmy is put in tree of woe. Kofi misses a baseball slide and goes crotch first into the post. Jey tags in. Jey hits shots on Woods. Jey misses a corner splash and superkicks Woods for 2. Jey topes Woods outside. Jey top rope crossbodies Woods for 2. 

We go to break and return. Jey hits punches on Woods. Waller trips Jey from the outside. The ref ejects Waller. Woods gets mad and is hit with a double superkick. He gets another and Kofi gets one too. The Uso's hit top rope splashes together on Woods for 2. Kofi sends Jey into the steps. Woods rolls up Jimmy for 2. Jimmy uppercuts him. Jimmy then takes a diving ddt onto the floor.

Woods topes Jey. Kofi top rope frogsplashes Jimmy's back. Jimmy takes a top rope double stomp + backbreaker combo for 2. Kofi hits a corkscrew kick on Jey. Kofi comes off the top and runs into a Jimmy superkick. Jey spears Woods outside. Jimmy spears Kofi. Kofi is hit with a 3D and gets pinned.

Thoughts: It was alright. The breaks cut this one up a bit and hurt it some. Jimmy didn't look like he was doing that well here as he seemed to hurt himself on the top rope splash he did. 

The Kabuki Warriors do a promo. Asuka says Iyo betrayed her and the family. Sane says they loved Iyo. Asuka says all she had to do was apologize but she chose Rhea, who disrespected her. She says they will know nothing but pain. She says they will end Rhea and Iyo on 1/5 and take the tag titles back. 

We see clips of The Vision's attack on LA Knight from last week. 

We see The Vision and Logan Paul. Logan says Reed flattened LA Knight. Bron Breakker says LA is gone and they should destroy CM Punk tonight. Logan says he bets the masked man will appear. Paul Heyman says he doesn't know who the masked man is but will take the help. Bron says he's taking Punk out if he sees him. Heyman says if he takes him out tonight, he won't be available on 1/5/26. Heyman says he's 21 days from becoming the new champ. He tells him to wait, beat Punk and become the new champ. Logan asks Bron to help him warm up.

They say LA Knight is out indefinitely.

Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky come out. Asuka appears in the crowd and mists Rhea but barely hits her. Sane comes off the rails forearms Iyo. Asuka head kicks Iyo. Iyo is sent into the steps. Sane drops Rhea and Asuka sliding kicks Rhea. Asuka holds Rhea, Sane goes for a top rope elbow drop and Iyo gets in the way. Iyo takes the elbow drop to the back. Officials come to break it up.

WWE Women's Intercontinental Title - Maxxine Dupri (c) vs Ivy Nile

Ivy piefaces her then rolls her up for 1. Max slaps her and is taken down. Ivy hits mounted shots then Max hits mounted shots. Ivy takes her down for 2. Max goes for the ankle lock. Max gets stuck up top the hanging armbars Ivy over the top rope. Ivy lifts her and drops her down on the apron. Ivy germans her outside.

We go to break and return. Max is swept on the apron. Max cradles her for 2. Ivy dragon sleepers her and Max headscissors her to escape it. They trade forearms. Max hits lariats and a pump kick. Max pumping knees her then does some kind of backbreaker I guess of a backslide.

Max corner splashes her and fisherman suplexes her for 2. Max misses a spinning high kick and Ivy powerbombs her for 2. Ivy hits mounted corner punches and Max sitout powerbombs her for 2. Max is put in tree of woe and Ivy dropkicks her. Max belly to belly suplexes her while she hangs. 

Ivy rolls up Max for 2. Max ankle locks her. Max hits a bad spin kick then ankle locks her. Ivy then taps out.

Thoughts: And this is the problem with Max having a title - there's going to be matches where she is expected to lead them and be the best worker and she's just not up to it. There were a fair bit of sloppy moments here and it just wasn't that good. There was also no reason to believe Ivy was winning here.

Adam Pearce talks to Je'Von Evans in the back. Adam says he didn't disappoint at SNME and says he got his attention. Los Americanos come in. Grande talks in Spanish. He brings up Evans. Evans says he's talking crazy and says something to him in Spanish. Adam asks Evans if he's free next week. Rayo offers himself and they will face off next week.

CM Punk comes out to talk. He says he was forced to miss 2 Raw's as he was medically not cleared to fight. He says Bron is a cross-eyed neanderthal nepobaby. He says Bron didn't sign up for board games, he signed up for war at Wargames. He says Bron talked about how easy it was to beat him. He says Bron wants 2011 Punk but can't handle 2025 Punk without help. He says Bron pinned him but he didn't do it alone.

Punk says he's been here before many times. He says Paul Heyman has gassed up talent with some potential many times and watched them wilt. He says if Bron mentions his wife again, it'll go from business to personal. He says he will rip his eyes out and pee on his single digit IQ brain. He says Bron won't show up alone on 1/5 as he doesn't have the heart. He tells him to bring whoever including his dumb father and dumber uncle Scott. He says bring them all to get a snowballs chance in hell of beating him. He says GTS equals 1-2-3. He says Bron will lose and he will win. 

Thoughts: It was a fiery promo here from Punk with him issuing a lot of threats and calling Bron dumb. 

The Judgment Day are in the back. Dom says he hopes The Vision puts an end to his dad tonight. Dom says Finn is with JD and JD won't be on the show for a while. Liv talks about Raquel going for the title tonight. Raquel says she can take Vaquer and wants to handle her on her own. Raquel says she's glad Liv is back and says Judgment Day runs Raw.

Women's World Title - Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs Raquel Rodriguez

They lock up. RR STO's her. RR blocks a sunset flip. SV hits forearms. RR shoulders her over. RR hits shots in the corner. SV hits forearms and a headbutt. SV headscissors her into a roll-up for 2. SV bangs RR's head off the buckles. SV's top rope crossbody is caught. RR then does a reverse suplex.

We go to break and return. RR misses a corner charge and SV gets on her back with a sleeper. RR throws her off and does a straightjacket choke on her. SV hits a corner attack and dragon screws her while she's on the 2nd rope. 

RR hits corner spears. SV triangles her over the top rope. RR powerbombs her out of it for 2. SV backdrops her. SV then does the devil's kiss. SV hits a corner meteora. RR hits a hard lariat. SV does another hanging triangle. SV is caught off the apron. RR is pushed into the post. Nikki Bella then comes out and sends SV into the post and sends RR into the steps. Bella hits a TKO on SV. 

Thoughts: It wasn't that great. It was just a hard match to get excited about and while RR did her part, I don't know if SV really did the underdog fiery face role well. The lame finish didn't help things.

Adam Pearce and Paul Heyman talk in the back. Adam doesn't believe that Paul doesn't know who the masked guy is. Paul shouts out names including Bruno Sammartino. He says he doesn't know and doesn't care as long as the masked guy fits their vision. Adam says he wants to know who it is by the end of the night.

Rhea Ripley comes in and says she wants Asuka. Adam asks how's next week?

Rey Mysterio and CM Punk shake hands in the back. Punk says he will watch his back tonight. He tells Rey to punch Logan Paul in the face.

AJ Styles and Dragon Lee are interviewed. AJ puts over The New Day vs The Uso's but says they are the tag champs. Lee says they will bring the fire to any team, any time. AJ says they should talk to Pearce now.

Nikki Bella comes out. She says she's not sorry for what she did. She says she's sick of nobody appreciating the road she paved. She says she's a legend and says Vaquer and Raquel should shine her boots.

Bayley and Maxxine Dupri talk in the back. Bay says she's proud of her. We see Max's busted open finger and Max says she will get ice. Lyra Valkyria comes in without make up and looks like a different person. Bay says losing to Sol Ruca, who has less experience, wasn't fun. She says she's thinking about what Asuka says. Lyra says Bay doubting herself after a loss isn't the Bay she knows. Lyra says maybe Asuka was right and she is an idiot. Bay fires up and says she will destroy Roxanne Perez, which is something Lyra couldn't do.

Logan Paul vs Rey Mysterio

LP has Heyman with him. LP throws his shirt at Rey. Rey wipes his boots with it. They back each other up in the corner. Rey slaps him. Rey hits forearms in the corner. Rey dropkicks LP after LP chases him around the ring. LP is tripped into the ropes and LP facekicks Rey. LP hits mounted shots on Rey. LP euros him down. Rey is sent hard into the corner and goes down. LP whips him with his belt.

LP hits shots to the gut. Rey boots him out of the corner and flying headscissors him. Rey hits mounted corner punches. LP sweeps him off the 2nd rope. LP catches Rey's crossbody and finlay rolls him. LP asai moonsaults but Rey gets his knees up and LP somehow ends up outside off the landing. Rey la silla's him off the apron. 

We go to break and return. LP clubs on Rey's back and corner splashes him. LP is sent to the apron and Rey misses a 619. LP lariats him from the apron. Rey enzugiri's LP while LP is seated on top. Rey hits mounted punches up top and hurricanrana's him. They trade forearms. Rey leg kicks LP. Rey hits forearms. Rey's asai moonsault is caught and LP powerslams him for 2. 

Rey hurricanrana's LP into the ropes. LP boots him. LP suplexes him twice. They fight on the buckles and Rey sunset bombs him. Rey bodyslides into a splash on LP on the floor. The Bron's come out. CM Punk chairs both of them in the aisle. Punk chases them to the back. Rey crucifixes LP for 2. 

Rey's 2nd rope dive is caught and LP alley oops him. Heyman gives LP brass knucks. Rey dropkicks LP in the knee then 619's him. Rey grabs the knucks and the masked man curb stomps Rey on the apron. LP top rope frogsplashes Rey and pins him.

Thoughts: It was okay enough but not great. It just got slow towards the end they just didn't do a great job of capturing the flow of this. There was too much downtime and not enough between the big spots.

The masked man gets on the apron and stares at LP. Punk comes out with a chair and both run off. The masked man unmasks and it's Austin Theory with a shaved head. Bron Breakker then spears Punk. Bron grabs the title and says this is business. He says if Punk talks about his family again, he won't stand on 2 feet ever again.

Thoughts: Theory didn't get a big pop here and I don't think that's too surprising. He did a lot of jobbing in his last run, he barely made TV and the big reveal was not that exciting. I'm glad Theory is maybe going to get another crack at the top of the card as he deserves it and because WWE is too low on top talent right now. He looks better with his hair grown out though. There were definitely multiple masked men who were not Theory.

Overall thoughts: It was not one of WWE's better shows. It was slower, it wasn't that exciting and nothing was great here. The card was also weak. Austin Theory being the masked man wasn't super exciting either. I thought the main was okay but not much more and either that or The Uso's match was the best match on here. Neither were that strong though. It's clear that all the focus is on the 1/5/26 show, but we've got 2 more shows until then. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 as it was a very average show.
