Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling Mayhem 8/26/2026

Shotzi and PCO come out with PCO's accomplice. PCO comes out in a casket.

PCO and Shotzi Blackheart vs Kris Chambers and Taylor Rising

KC hits shots on PCO before the bell. PCO back body drops him. PCO knocks him off the apron and onto the ramp. Taylor Rising gets in PCO's way and Shotzi lariats her over the top. Shotzi boots KC in front of the ref. POC slams KC then slams Shotzi onto KC. 

PCO tags Shotzi in and Shotzi hits a double tope outside. PCO then topes outside. We go to break and return. Tay germans and headscissors Shotzi. Tay pumphandle slams Shotzi for 2. 

Shotzi neckbreakers Tay. Shotzi and KC come in. Shotzi hit lariats and suplexes KC into the buckles. Shotzi corner la silla's him. Shotzi spinning ddt's him for 2. Shotzi misses a corner charge. Tay hits corner shots on Shotzi then she kicks her in the back. 

Tay hits punches and chops on Shotzi. Shotzi cradles her for 2. Shotzi hanging reverse headscissors her over the top rope. Tay slaps Shotzi. They fight on the buckles. Shotzi superplexes her. Shotzi top rope sentons her for the pin.

Thoughts: It was the usual intergender out where the men were somehow unable to do anything to the women and the women beat them up. PCO seemingly got injured early on in this as he disappeared after. They are really burying Kris Chambers 10 feet deep for unknown reasons. It wasn't anything special. This was Shotzi's debut here.

Shotzi then takes a burning hammer from Danny Maff after. This was Maff's debut here. 

Josh Alexander talks. He says he blew his meniscus apart in a match with Mike Bailey. He says he was told he'd be out for the rest of the year. He says the Josh Alexander that made excuses died. We see him playing with his kid. He says not to listen to anybody. He says wrestling makes him happy. 

Rudra vs D-Man Parker

Rudra used to be called Bhupinder Singh in TNA. His new name refers to an Indian god. 

DP boots him and side headlocks him. Rudra shoulders him over. Rud enzugiri's him then corner splashes him. DP eye rakes him and euros him. DP kicks him in the back and slaps him. DP celebrates and Rud gets back up. Rud spinning forearms him. Rud jumping knees him. Rud 2nd rope diving spears him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a squash here. D-Man lost as expected. Rud looks a little thinner than I remember. It wasn't too much of note.

Dan Maff says PCO almost ended his career 13 months ago and he's back. He says what doesn't kill him just p!sses him off. PCO then hits Maff from behind and they trade shots in the hallway.

We get a video of Judas Icarus and Travis Williams. We see them playing cards and see Judas fighting off some people. The voiceover guy says you don't want to be on his bad side and nobody knows how he got his Sinner nickname. The voiceover guy says Travis is more of a snake then a saint.

Steve Maclin vs Psycho Mike

SM nails Mike as he enters on the ramp. Mike is sent into the steps. SM hits punches and boots on him in the corner. The match then officially starts. SM stomps Mike in the corner and back elbows him. SM suplexes him. 

SM chops Mike. Mike chops back. SM knees him in the gut. SM boots him out of the corner. Mike spinebusters him. Mike hits running backsplashes. Mike flying pump kicks him in the corner and running lariats him. 

Mike then asks if we want to see a bodyslam. PCO and Dan Maff fight on the stage. Security tries to break them up and fails. They then fight to the back. SM double underhook ddt's Mike and pins him.

Thoughts: I don't really get why they had Mike lose here since they are pushing him. The brawling kind of interrupted the match here and what we got was average. Steve did need to win this though since it was his MLP debut.

Steve Maclin then talks on the mic after. He said he heard all his life that the best wrestlers come from Canada. He names Kenny Omega, Adam Copeland and Jericho. He asks why they all end up becoming stars in America. Steve says Canada is only a feeder system to the US. He says Canada grows the product but they make that profit. He says Canada produces wrestlers but America produces legends.

We hear from the people in the main event.

Rohan Raja says he lost more than the title when he lost the Champion's Grail. He says he lost his direction. He says then he got to be in CMLL's Grand Prix. He says he didn't come to Mexico to look for another title and found a new purpose there. 

I won't be covering the main event. Nikki Storm (formerly Nikki Cross in WWE) got the pin and won.

Overall thoughts: I only saw 3 of the 4 matches here. The opener had the usual issues mixed tags/intergender matches have where the men aren't smart enough to hit the women and the women beat up the much larger men easily. Rudra won a squash. Steve Maclin then beat Psycho Mike. I don't agree with them having Mike job so much since they are clearly pushing him to be someone here. I do think they have too many people coming in right now as Nikki Storm, Sinner and Saint and Dan Maff are all coming in. That's going to be an issue when the show only has 3-4 matches each time. Like the other MLP episodes, I wasn't really impressed with this one and would just give it a 4 out of 10. I thought it was average.
