Thoughts: The outcome was obvious here. It took longer to get there than needed though and brought it down some. It wasn't too interesting.

ELPIDA (Ren Ayabe & Ryuki Honda) & Seigo Tachibana vs. Hokuto-gun (Hokuto Omori, Jack Kennedy & Kuma Arashi)

Honda and Kuma go at it. Kuma clean breaks him and does his yell. Honda side headlocks him. They trade forearms then Honda shoulders him over. Honda chokes him on the ropes. Kuma shoulders Honda over.

Honda comes in and hits lariats on his opponents. Seigo then hits a tope con hilo outide. Ren dropkicks Omori then hits a spinning falcon arrow on him for the win.

Thoughts:
It went long and was boring at times. I didn't like Honda doing a move to his own partner Seigo and it had some comedy in it as these often do.

Yuko and Jiro both miss top rope moonsaults several times. Yuko finally hits one and wins.

Thoughts:
I didn't like it. It was comedy before it even started and didn't really let up. It's a shame because if they just would have had a normal match, it probably would have been good. This also went long.

Naruko Doi comes out after and seems to challenge Yuko Miyamoto.

Dan Tamura, MUSASHI, Ryo Inoue & Shotaro Ashino vs. Baka No Jidai (Hideki Suzuki & Hikaru Sato), Kengo Mashimo & Seiki Yoshioka

Seiki axe kicks Musashi then Musashi falcon arows him for 2. Musashi misses a top rope splash. Seiki headscissors rolls him and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like it at all. It was an unserious match with bad brawling and with everyone goofing around.

All Asia Tag Team Title Match - ELPIDA (Rising HAYATO & Yuma Anzai) (c) vs. Astronauts (Fuminori Abe & Takuya Nomura)

Nomura and Yuma trade wristlocks. Rising and Abe go at it. Abe wristlocks him. Rising headflips out and chops him. Abe slaps him. Rising is thrown over the top and facekicks off the apron. Rising is sent into the rails.

Rising falcon arrows Abe for 2. Yuma asai moonsaults Abe but Abe no sells it and rolls him up for 2. Abe punches Rising then octopuses him. Rising hits a beachbreak for 2. Rising then top rope moonsaults Abe and wins.

Thoughts: It was an okay match here. It did felt a bit rushed and didn't quite get the time it needed. They did follow up on the armwork on Rising here at least.

Hideki Suzuki and Dan Tamura come in after and seem to challenge Yuma and Rising.

Atsuki Aoyagi vs. Rei Saito

They lock up. AA boots him and side headlocks him. They shoulder battle. AA dropkicks him and shoulders him over and out of the ring. AA knocks him off the apron then is pulled down on the apron.

Rei puts him against the rails and misses a corner charge. AA wraps Rei's arm around the rail and then boots it. AA is sent into the rails then Rei boots him over them. Rei chokes AA against the post.

Rei stands on him in the ring. AA 2nd rope dropkicks Rei then pop-up dropkicks him. AA hurricanrana's him and dropkicks him. AA top rope dropkicks Rei. AA hits forearms and ducks slaps. Rei double chops him. Rei hits a chop flurry.

AA hits superkicks and a corkscrew kick. Rei headbutts AA. Rei hits a big powerbomb. Rei goes for the pin and AA reverses it to win.

Thoughts:
It wasn't quite as good as it should have been. The crowd didn't get super into it and neither guy got enough heat. I think they had some of the idea of the big vs small man right though. AJPW doesn't have a ton of guys and it makes sense to try and push Atsuki as a guy when people like him and his brother is already one of their stars. I'm for him getting the upset here.

Yuma Aoyagi then high fives Atsuki as he leaves and as Yuma enters for his match.

Triple Crown Title Match - Jun Saito (c) vs. Yuma Aoyagi

Jun backs up Yuma on the ropes and poses. Yuma then does the same to him. Jun wristlocks him then side headlocks him. Yuma dropkicks him then is shouldered over. Yuma 2nd rope dropkicks him. Yuma hits dropkicks to the knee. Yuma dragon screws Jun. Yuma double boots him out of the corner then booted off the top to the floor.

Yuma is sent into the rails. Jun sends Yuma into the seats and they fight there. Jun sends Yuma into the seats again. They go back in and Jun gets a 2 count on him. Yuma hits forearms then Jun foot chokes him. Jun slams him and elbow drops him for 2.

Jun hits corner facekicks on Yuma for 2. Jun slams Yuma then stands on him. Yuma hits chest forearms then Jun delay suplexes him for 2. Yuma dropkicks Jun. Yuma corner forearms Jun then 2nd rope twisting crossbodies him. Yuma guillotines him. Yuma dropkicks Jun in the knee then lariats him while he's on the apron.

Yuma backdrops Jun on the apron. Yuma backdrops Jun for 2 then top rope elbow drops him for 2. Yuma powerbombs Jun then Jun suplexes him. Yuma no sells it and is speared. Yuma and Jun trade forearms. Jun chops him then Yuma dropkicks him. Yuma guillotines him. Jun suplexes him. Yuma cradles him for 2. Jun facekicks him then Yuma does another guillotine. Yuma then armlocks him on top of it.

They go on the buckles and Jun 2nd rope chokeslams him for 2. Yuma side headlock takeovers him and running lariats him for 2. Yuma brainbusters him for 2 then does it again. Yuma spin kicks him in the head. Jun slaps him then lariats him.

Jun running knees Yuma for 2. Jun hits a chokeslam on Yuma for 2. Jun hits a nightmare pendulum and gets the win.

Thoughts:
It was a good match. It had the usual brawling outside that didn't help things but I thought they got the idea of this right in the final parts of this and the two were able to get things going. They didn't do anything too crazy or wild. Yuma was a decent face and Jun was a nice obstacle for him. This was one of Jun's better matches so far. I had no problem with this.

Yuma is helped to the back then Jun talks on the mic.

Kento Miyahara comes out and challenges Jun for the title after.

Overall thoughts: It was similar to what we have been getting later with AJPW with a standard opener, an undercard filled with comedy and non-serious matches then an okay top half of the card. The main was the best thing on here but that wasn't saying a lot. Rei/Atsuki wasn't as good or as hot as it should have been but they had the right idea. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 as the undercard brought this down.

NWA Powerrr 4/1/2025

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/03/nwa-powerrr-3252025.html

Thom Latimer is on the 2nd story of some building. He says he's just like these people in the street. He says he has everything they have. He says Aron Stevens lives in a fantasy world and thinks everyone else lives there too. He says he's not scared of him and says he will get his answer in time.

NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Title - Alex Taylor (c) vs Slade

Slade won this shot on 2/25 but it hasn't really been mentioned since.. Slade takes him down and waistlock takedowns him. Alex gets out of a wristlock then Slade trips him into an ankle lock. Alex ropebreaks. Slade hits punches and hits a belly to belly suplex.

Sladetakes a stun gun and Alex stomps on him. Alex suplexes him. Alex hits corner spears then pulls his neck forward. Alex hits punches then chinlocks him while on his back. Alex dropkicks him. Alex slams him.

Alex goes up top and takes a belly to belly suplex off the buckles. Slade hits punches and exploders him. Slade hits triple germans. Slade sunset flips him then jumping knees him. Slade lifts Alex. Alex takes his ear guards off. Alex ear claps him then hits a cradle shock to win.

Thoughts: The finish was clever here with Alex taking off Slade's ear guards. What we got was fine here in this harmless opener.

We go back to the bar that they call The Southern Six Clubhouse. The two bartenders say Silas Mason's girlfriend has been going out and about. He says one of The Southern Six is hooking up with her.

No Limits Empty Arena Match - Ruthie Jay vs La Rosa Negra

Ruthie Jay turned on Rosa on 1/14/2025 which lead to this. Again, I don't think this has been mentioned since it happened.

Rosa takes her down and they both miss moves. They swing wildly at each other. Jay hits forearms and chops. Jay spinning high kicks her then hits mounted punches. Jay's neck is rammed into the corner then her head is banged off the buckles. Rosa hits boots in the gut in the corner.

Rosa is pulled over the top but hangs on. Jay dropkicks her off the apron. Jay's head is banged off the seats and the apron. Rosa topes her but gets caught. Rosa then pounds on her. Jay eye rakes her and bangs her face off the chairs.

Jay stomps on Rosa then rams her into the entrance stand. Rosa clubs and stomps on her. Jay is then dropped head first in a trash can. Rosa kicks the trash can while she's in it. Rosa is tripped into the entrance area.

Jay pounds on Rosa then meteora's her against one of the entrance stands. Jay gets dropped on a metal box then is chaired in the back. Rosa's head is banged off the floor. Jay calls her trash and throws a cup at her.

Both talk trash and Rosa talks trash in spanish. Rosa mule kicks her. Rosa is sent into the post then Jay chairs her. Jay airplane spin drops her on a chair for 2. Rosa sit out drops her on her chest.

Rosa misses a top rope splash. Jay chairs her then hits a bunch of chair shots to the gut to win.

Thoughts:
It wasn't a bad match. The empty arena atmosphere helped us hear the trash talking. They got a lot of time and they did rough each other up some with the brawling. Even if it wasn't the most athletic match, I thought they got the right idea here and did a good job with this.

Kylie Paige is working out at the gym and struggling. She asks Burchill to help her. Burchill explains how to do the exercise. Paige then walks over to Bryan Idol. He asks what she's doing and says what she was doing with Burchill was weird. Idol's arm is in a sling. Paige asks where his female friend is. Idol says he has phone calls to make and has to go. Paige then complains to Burchill that Idol was being nosy. We then just cut away randomly.

We go to break then go back to the gym. Paige complains about Natalia Markova. Burchill makes a face and she says she's not crazy. She then runs into Natalia Markova and Bryan Idol. Markova tells her to say what she has to say to her face. Paige says she's not afraid of her and will do that. Paige says Markova keeps wanting title shots from Kenzie Paige but keeps losing. Idol says Kenzie is ducking her. Markova says she's just here to fight. Paige says she has the perfect opponent for her and it's Hunter (the NWA wrestler who has been flirting with Paige).

Thoughts: Well, it wasn't good but at least they are trying to do some backstage stuff and add some things to the show.

Colby Corino does a promo. He complains that he has to wrestle to get into the Jax Dane Tournament and fight from the 8th seed while Kerry Morton just gets in. Colby says no one will stand in his way and there's no one he can't put down for 3 seconds.

Jax Dane Memorial Heavyweight Tournament 1st Round - Colby Corino vs Silas Mason

SM waistlock takedowns him. CC front facelocks him and SM turns it into an ankle lock. SM slaps him in the back of the head. CC then slaps him back. SM takes him down and hits mounted shots.

SM hits shots to the shoulder and hits a nice short arm clothesline. SM misses an elbow drop. CC hits chops and forearms. CC hammerlocks him. CC trips him then slaps him around. CC dropkicks him into the buckles. CC corner cannonballs him.

SM drops him face first on the buckles. SM misses a corner spear and is german suplexed for 2. SM hits a superplex for 2. CC hits chops and forearms outside. CC is sent into the post. SM pours a drink on him. CC's head is banged off the apron and SM stomps his hand. They fight on the buckles. CC hits headbutts and SM falls down. CC top rope swantons SM while he's seated.

They go back on the buckles and CC 2nd rope cutters him. Tyler Franks comes out for some reason. Kerry tries to do a running knee to CC but nails SM instead on accident. CC poisonrana's SM then pins him.

Thoughts: That was a surprise. It was a good match though with CC being a fiery underdog face and the two stiffing each other good on various shots. I really liked this one though it would have been nice to get a clean finish.

Thom Latimer says Aron Stevens tried to ruin him and threaten him and his family. He says it takes balls but it achieves nothing. Thom says he has already done that to himself. Thom says he's not scared anymore and says only his heart and his title matters. He says his heart tells him what he's doing is right. he says it's end of days for Aron.

Overall thoughts: All 3 matches were fine and had some build behind them though some of the matches weren't mentioned in months which hurt that. As I've said before, to really follow this show, you have to have your own database due to how far back to go to follow up on things. I liked what we got here and would give it a 6 out of 10. It was one of the better NWA episodes in a while.

WWE Evolve 4/2/2025

WWE Evolve 4/2/2025

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/03/wwe-evolve-3262025.html

Pete Rosenberg and Robert Stone are on commentary.

We get a package on Brinley Reece. We saw some of it a few episodes ago and there were just new highlights only.

Zayda Steel does a video. She says she's the real deal and says she's the first WWE ID prospect. She says she's not afraid of anything and is ready for it at all.

Brinley Reece vs Zayda Steel

This is Zayda Steel's WWE TV debut. They lock up and Brin takes her down by the arm. Zay headscissors her. Jackson Drake is in the VIP Section.

Zay slaps Brin. Brin takes her down by the arm and slaps her. Brin yanks her arm. Zay armdrags her. Brin does a forward cartwheel over her. Brin flips her off the backslide into a drop on her chest for 2.

Zay slides and upkicks her. Zay then stomps on her. Zay hits boots to the gut in the corner. Brin hits her in the gut. Zay kicks her over the 2nd rope then codebreakers her for 2. Brin backdrops her. Brin shoulders her over then flapjacks her. Brin forward cartwheel lariats her for 2.

Zay backrolls her for 2. Brin hits a TKO and wins.

Thoughts: Zayda isn't that good yet and this wasn't that good. Brin was fine but Zayda didn't bring much to this. There weren't any clear faces or heels and there weren't any major highlights in this. I don't like Brin's new gear.

Swipe Right comes out and they check on Zayda.

Kylie Rae and Zara Zakher talk in the back. KR says she is trying to stay calm. Zara brings up Wendy and she gets owkred up. KR says she doesn't want to look her in the eyes. Zara says she's a fighter and fighters fight. KR says she will try.

We get a package on Keanu Carver.

We get a package on Luca Crusifino as well. He says Tony D told him to push the influence of The Family on this show. He says he's here to make a statement and a name for himself.

Keanu Carver vs Luca Crusafino

KC grabs him by the throat and is punched. Luca gets his back and is thrown down. KC punches him. Luca hits shots to the gut and the head. Luca slingshot shoulderblocks him. Luca running euros him then corner cannonballs him.

Luca does Flair's flip out of the corner. Luca goes to slingshot but is caught and held in the air for a big forearm. Luca is sitting down and KC running low forearms him. Luca is thrown over the top and takes a nice bump for it.

KC says he hopes Stevie Turner is paying attention as he can do it to anyone. KC knees Luca in the ribs then sleepers him. KC drops him with a forearm then hits another running low forearm.

KC chinlocks him from behind. Luca hits punches. Luca tries to lift him but hurts his back. KC hits him from behind. KC misses a corner charge. Luca hits running forearms then shoulders him over. Luca samoan drops him and codebreakers him. Luca hits a sick kick for 2.

Luca tries to suplex him, fails and gets pounced. KC then gets a 2 count. KC hits a running enka-otoshi variation on Luca and pins him.

Thoughts: It was KC's longest TV match yet. He did fine here. KC took a lot more offense than expected and I can't believe they let Luca kick out of the pounce. Luca did fine as well and showed why he's basically being used like a vet here. I would have let KC look a little stronger though. KC got his mouth busted open here. I thought this was decent.

Chantel Monroe vs Masyn Holiday

I think this is both girls 2nd WWE TV match. KC dances on her way to the ring.

CM side headlocks her and throws her over. CM waistlock takedowns her then walks on her back. MH waistlock takedowns her and stands on her back. MH armlocks her then shoulders her over. MH hiptosses her then pulls her by the hair. CM pulls her throat first down on the ropes.

CM stomp flurries MH in the corner then pulls on her arm around the ropes. CM arm throws her. MH's shoulder is rammed into the buckles. CM rolls her up for 2. MH shoulders her arm then knee drops it.

CM does a cobra clutch variation and misses a knee drop on the arm. MH shoulders her over then flying shoulders her. MH slams CM for 2. CM codebreakers the arm then rolls her up while grabbing the titles. CM gets the win.

Thoughts:
It was fine with CM working the arm and winning with a roll up after a codebreaker on the arm. I thought MH could have did a bit better selling the arm but I had no real issues with this otherwise.

Chuey Martinez interviews Chantel after. She says she got 2 straight wins and asks if Chuey is surprised. She says she's not. She says all she sees is a winner in the mirror. She says winners win championships. She says she heard whispers about the Evolve Women's Championship and says she will be the center of the title conversation.

They do a face-off with Dani Palmer and Kali Armstrong. Kali says she should be on the ground where she leaves her next week. Dani says they aren't a good team but they are here to evolve their talents. Kali mocks her and says she has a loser's mentality. Dani says she will have a short career if she acts like this. Kali says she is doing fine and will do fine if she's not handcuffed to a girl like her.

Dani says Kali is trying to push all her buttons until she gets a response. She says she will save it for the match. She says Kali is writing a check her skills can't cash. Kali says it's not the 90's anymore and no one writes checks. They get in each other's faces as the segment ends.

Harlem Lewis vs Joe Coffey

They lock up. HL ducks a shot. HL wristlocks him. Joe rolls and kips up out. Joe arm throws HL then armdrags him. Joe stomps him in the back of the head and hits him in the gut. Joe running euros him. Joe's 2nd rope twisting crossbody is caught.

HL drives Joe's throat into the ropes then he lariats him from behind. HL stomps Joe and stands on his face. HL hits shots then off-angle lariats him. HL running boots him for 2.

HL chinlocks him. HL side headlocks him and is backdropped off of it. Joe hits some shots then shoulders him over. Joe flying shoulders him. Joe flying shoulders him. Joe then hits a double jump twisting crossbody for 2.

Joe crossbodies him over the top and both go out. They trade shots outside. Joe punches the post when HL moves. Joe headbutts him and rolls him up for 2. HL stomps the hand then hits a jackhammer for the win.

Thoughts: I liked it. Joe always works well with the heavies and this was no exception. It looked like a solid match on paper and it was indeed a solid heavyweight battle. I'd like to see this one again to be honest as I think they could do even better.

HL says how about Harlem Lewis? after.

Wendy Choo vs Kylie Rae

Stone called Choo "The Gatekeeper of Evolve".

Choo offers a handshake but slowly pulls back. Choo side headlock takeovers her. KR headscissors her. Choo handstands out and side headlocks her. Choo shoulders her over. Choo rolls over her and they stare down on their knees. KR backs up in the corner then armdrags her into a headflip.

KR flying headscissors her. KR dropkicks her. Choo pulls KR's neck down over the top rope. Choo grabs her by the hair outside. Choo headtwists KR with her feet ala Zack Sabre Jr. Choo cartwheel forearms her then corner facekicks her for 2.

Choo twists KR's head. KR boots her out of the corner and hits lariats. KR hits a corner euro then corner cannonballs her for 2. KR rolls her up for 2. KR avoids a cobra clutchthen takes a stiff german.

KR 2ns dopre diving armdrags her into a headflip then superkicks her. Choo then sits up. KR says she's not afraid of her. She superkicks her into a crossface. Choo rolls KR into a 2 count. KR spnning forearms her. Choo catches KR off the ropes and full nelson slams her. Choo does a grounded cobra clutch variation and wins.

Thoughts:
It got a decent bit of time and was alright. There was nothing too great about it but everyone hit their moves clean and it didn't have too many issues. Both girls tried here and they tried to push KR not being afraid of Choo anymore.

Choo whips a blanket at the camera over KR as we close the show.

Overall thoughts: I liked the show. Nothing was awful here. Lewis/Coffey was the best match of the night easy and Carver/Luca was decent. Masyn and Monroe had an acceptable bout for their skill level and the main was fine. The opener was the weakest thing on here. I'd still like some backstage segments and more interviews to get the wrestlers over better but it was a fun show. I'd give it a 6 out of 10. You don't need to see it, but it was good.

AEW Dynamite 4/2/2025

AEW Dynamite 4/2/2025

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/03/aew-dynamite-3262025.html

Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir vs Swerve Strickland and Willow Nightingale

SS = Swerve Strickland

SS and Mox fight outside as SS enters. The girls also fight out there. Marina hits knees to Willow's gut. Marina is sent into the rails. Mox hits SS with a chair in front of the ref and Marina suplexes Willow on the floor.

A table is set up outside. Mox and SS fight on the commentary tabke. Marina hip throws Willow. Mox is sent into the steps. Willow suplexes Marina. Mox shoulders over SS in the ring. SS dropkicks Mox. Mox takes a backbreaker then Willow dropkicks Mox.

Mox takes corner attacks from both opponents. Marina chokes Willow on the ropes with her leg. SS is thrown over the rail. Willow takes corner shots and Willow slaps Mox. Mox and Swerve both grab the girls. Neither of them do a move despite the girls being willing to do it to them.

Willow hits hots on Marina then Marina hip throws her. Marina powerbombs Willow off the apron through a table and Willow of course mostly just bangs her head off of it in a dangerous spot.

We go to PiP break and return. Marina rakes SS' back then Mox does as well. Willow then does a tower of doom spot on her opponents and her partner. Willow corner splashes both opponents and facekicks Marina. Mox grabs Willow, Swerve jumping knees Mox. Willow corner cannonballs Mox.

Willow spinebusters Marina for 2. Mox throws Willow out instead of just knocking her out and winning. Mox and Swerve fight. Mox grounded sleepers SS. Willow powerbombs Marina onto Mox and SS. Mox and SS trade. Mox bites SS then SS rolls into a flatliner on him.

SS hits a house call kick on Marina when she pushes Mox out of the way. Willow sends Mox through a table but the camera's miss it. Willow doctor bombs Marina to win.

Thoughts:
It was the worst of AEW all in one with the missing camera shots, Willow getting her head smacked off a table, partners doing moves to partners and the girls beating up the guys with the guys doing nothing in return. Mox will choke people with bags, put people through fire and barbed wire but hitting a woman is just too dastardly for him. This was stupid, dangerous and had horrible logic.

Mox then ddt's Willow after, because he's an idiot who likes to lose matches. The announcers make it seem like he did such a bad thing but had no problem with Willow hitting the guys. Doc Sampson then checks on Willow after.

Renee interviews FTR and the ref Paul Turner. Dax was fined for putting his hands on the ref. He apologizes to Paul and gives the money he was fined to Paul. Paul thanks him and says it means a lot. Renee asks if FTR can put their issues aside and Dax says they can as they've been together for 11 years and can't let it go over one event on Collision. Dax apologizes to Cash and tries to hug him. Cash says they are brothers and will be fine, but they need to talk on Sunday.

They announce the Owen Hart Tournament brackets. It's Ospreay/Knight, Brody/Takeshita, Briscoe/Fletcher and Page/?. Jay White was supposed to be in the open spot but was attacked by The Death Riders off screen. The women's bracket has Hayter/Starkz, Rosa/Statlander, Julia Hart/Mone and Harley/Athena.

Toni Storm vs Penelope Ford

Toni pounds on her. Ford clubs on her and is sent into the apron. Toni chops her. Toni spinning backbreakers her. Toni suplexes her.

Ford dropkicks her then double knee drops her back on the apron. Toni hits forearms on Ford and Ford jumping facekicks her. We go to PiP break and return. Ford handspring back elbows Toni. Toni bites Ford's tongue and they trade forearms. Toni thesz presses her and hits punches.

Toni hits lariats then backdrops her. Toni corner hip attacks her and ddt's her for 2. Toni STF's her. Ford moonsaults off the apron onto her. Toni germans her and Ford back body drops her. Ford ducks a lariat and takes a storm zero. Toni pins her.

Thoughts: Toni won as expected. It was a way to get Toni on TV and get her win. It was acceptable and they kept things moving here with lots of action.

Megan Bayne comes out and claps for Toni after. Toni tells her to come on and holds the title up at her.

Willow is being checked on in the back. Swerve says Willow is strong and brave. He says Willow welcomed the challenge tonight. Swerve is mad at Mox for DDT'ing Willow even though he knew she had neck issues. Swerve says he won't rest until he has his hands on Mox.

Thoughts: This was stupid. Willow wasn't exactly some angel out there as she hit Mox first during the match.

MVP and Bobby Lashley come out to the ring. MJF then comes out. MJF says MVP looks good tonight. MJF says "Bob" disrespected him last week but he will let it slide. He says he doesn't know him like MVP does. MJF then introduces himself. MJF then says he loves Shelton, who he said has travel issues today. MJF says Bobby is standing on the block he built.

MJF says he can help Bobby and Shelton hold onto the tag titles. He says they can help him get the AEW Title back too. MJF says him with them is just good business.

MJF says he might not want MJF, but he needs him. Bobby says he doesn't like or trust him. He says The Hurt Syndicate doesn't need him. Bobby says he needs to prove himself or get out of the ring. MJF tells the crowd they stink and leaves.

Bryan Keith and Big Bill come out. Bobby stares down Bill. Bill puts a chair down and tells Bobby to sit and watch.

The Learning Tree (Big Bill and Bryan Keith) vs 2 jobbers

Bill throws a jobber then hits a facekick. MVP and Lashley watch. Bill gorilla presses the jobber out. Another jobber hits Bill from behind. Bill chokes him then throws him into a Bryan knee. Bill chokeslams the jobber and pins him with his foot on his face.

Thoughts: It was all squash as expected and just there to get some interaction between The Hurt's and Bill/Bryan.

Bill says they whooped Top Flight's @ss, whooped them tonight and says they will whoop The Hurt's on Sunday for the tag titles.

Renee interviews Mercedes Mone. Mone says Julia Hart is serious and unpredictable. She says she's a former TBS champ but the greatest TBS champ like her. Harley Cameron then puts the Mone puppet in Mone's face. Harley said they tore the house in Australia. Mone tells her to stay out of her way on Collision. Harley says they will be called the Money Wrath Train on Collision.

Will Ospreay and Kevin Knight vs Lee Johnson and Blake Christian

This is so random. Blake has ice cream cones on his tron.

Blake side headlocks Will and Will reverses it. Will shoulders Blake over and Blake kips up then struts. Blake spin kicks him in the gut then shoulders him over. Will then kips up and struts. Will flying headscissors him then trips him into a Kevin splash for 2.
Will is thrown out. Kevin is tripped then takes a basement dropkick. Will and Kev then hit near stereo dropkicks then they each do dives outside. Blake spears Will on the apron. We go to PiP break and return.

Blake rolls into a lariat on Kevin. Kev jumps over a double lariat. Will does a springboard double crossbody. Will hits a handspring corkscrew kick. Blake does a corkscrew tope on Will outside. Blake 450 foot stomps Will. Will stunners Lee.

Will hook kicks Blake. Lee is put on Blake's shoulders then Kevv dropkicks Blake. Will plancha's outside. Kev springboard lariats Lee.

Thoughts: They did a nice job highlighting Kevin Knight here. It was all flying as expected. I guess I was alright with this as it was all flying and they didn't overdo it.

Tony Schiavone says on the mic that Will vs Kevin Knight in the Owen Hart Tournament takes place at Dynasty.

Thoughts: Will has been featured as one of the top AEW guys and this is definitely a step down for him on a PPV.

The Ops do a video in the garage. Joe says the battlefield and nature of war was changing so he needed a different arsenal when he came back. Joe says they will be at Dynasty and will watch all.

Brody King vs Lance Archer

They lock up, let go and charge at each other. They shoulder battle and trade forearms. Lance facekicks him and lariats him over the top. Lance cannonballs him off the apron. King crossbodies Lance against the rail. Don Callis trips Brody. Lance then kicks Brody.

Brody is sent into the steps. Lance chops him and Brody chops back. Brody's head is banged off the commentary table. We go to PiP break and return.

Lance hits running back elbows then Brody germans him. Brody crossbodies Lance and slams him. Brody sentons him for 2. Lance black hole slams him for 2. Lance hits a choke slam for 2. Lance corner lariats him then takes a corner splash. Brody hits a corner cannonball. Brody lariats Lance for 2 then hits another and wins.

Thoughts:
Oh of course Lance lost. There's no one on the roster he hasn't lost to at this point. It was a decent heavyweight match with them dropping bombs on each other and having a hoss style match. It wasn't the best it could have been but they did fine here.

Cope vs Claudio Castagnoli

Cope has some bright neon green and black gear on.

CC goes after Cope as he enters. CC hits boots in the corner. CC sends him into the rails. CC corner euros him against the rails then foot chokes him there. Some fan in a ref shirt counts at him to break it in a funny moment. Cope hits CC as he tries to get in. Cope knocks CC off the apron into the rails.

CC's head is banged off the steps then he is sent into the rails. Cope hits forearms outside. CC hits euros and headbutts him. Cope hits short arm lariats. CC bites him and Cope hits a headbuster on him for 2. Cope spears CC off the apron by going through the ropes. Cope goes to dive and gets euro'd. We go to PiP break and return. Cope's throat is pulled down over the top rope. They go up on the buckles and Cope hits a top rope diving bulldog.

CC eye pokes him then double stomps him. CC giant swings him. Cope hits an impaler for 2. Cope 2nd rope sunset flips him but CC rolls through. CC sharpshooters him. Cope crossfaces CC and CC ropebreaks. CC powerslams Cope on the apron then throws him over the rail. CC running lariats him as he gets in for 2. CC springboards into a big boot from Cope. CC pop-up euros Cope. CC neutralizers Cope for 2. CC goes for a conchairto. The ref stops him. Cope low blows CC. Cope spears CC and wins.

Thoughts:
I don't know why The Death Riders didn't interfere here. It was long and not that good. They did a bit too much and didn't sell enough in this one for me. It also had a slow pace. I thought Cope was really risking injury with the top rope bulldog.

Renee tries to talk to Swerve and Nana in the back. The argue and Nana leaves. Swerve says he's looking for Renee's husband Mox. Adam Page pops up behind Swerve. He tells Swerve he's wasting his time. Page says he promised Swerve won't hold the title again. Security breaks them up as they argue. Page says Swerve broke into his house. Swerve says Page burned his house down. Page says he deserved it. Swerve says "he knows". Page walks off. Swerve then gets jumped by The Death Riders.  Swerve is sent into some kind of glass.

Serve is dragged to the ring. They pour broken glass into the ring. Swerve is powerbombed onto glass. Swerve then sits up.

Overall thoughts: It was a heavy wrestling show as often is the case. I hated everything about the opener and thought the main was long, but the other matches were okay enough. I didn't really get what the point of the MJF/Hurt Syndicate segment was but maybe it'll play into something at the PPV. I thought the Ospreay tag was random, but at least the match was okay. Brody/Lance was also fine. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 overall as some of the low points of this brought it down.

TNA Xplosion 3/28/2025

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/03/tna-xplosion-3212025.html

Here's the new content this week:

Around The Ring with Gia Miller

Maggie Lee is this week's guest. Gia says she has a good feeling about her. Gia asks her most embarassing childhood memory. She said she was a horse girl. She said she got a horse named Butterscotch but she was allergic to it.

Gia talks about a horse and they talk about horse movies.

Steve Maclin vs Joe Alonzo

Joe comes out with a mic. They say he is from Texas but he says he's from Chicago. He tells the crowd to get up and applaud for him but htye just boo him. He then talks in Spanish and tells them to applaud for him. He says the crowd hates him because they aren't him. He says he'd hate him too if he weren't Joe Alonzo.

Joe chops him on the break then side headlocks him. Steve back elbows him and chops him. Steve hits lariats to the back of Joe's head then sliding lariats him. Steve misses his crosshairs spear. Joe pulls Steve's throat down over the top. Joe then topes him.

Joe does a springboard double axe handle. Steve boots and clubs on him. Joe stomps on him in the corner. Steve hits shots to the gut. Joe dropkicks him. Joe corner dropkicks him. Joe backdrops him and rakes his eyes with his feet. Joe springboards and is caught with a uranage backbreaker.

Steve hits lariats then does a thesz press with punches. Steve olympic slams him. Joe takes a crosshairs spear then Steve hits a KIA to win.

Thoughts:
It was a random match here but they tried. The crowd was surprisingly really hot and definitely gave this one more heat than it probably deserved. They did what they could with it and it was fine with Joe losing as expected. Joe should probably change his hairstyle though and not wear shirts out to the ring as it made him look too young to be a threat.

Overall thoughts: There was only one new match and one interview segment as usual. The interview segment wasn't good. Maclin/Alonzo was fine but it wasn't anything you really need to see.

WWE Speed 4/2/2025

WWE Speed Women's #1 Contender's Tournament Quarterfinals - Michin vs Shayna Baszler

Mich flying headscissors her then dropkicks her out. Mich goes to dive and her throat is pulled down of the top. SB comes in and knees her in the face. SB stomps on Mich's leg. SB suplexes her for 2. SB ankle locks her. Mich tornado ddt's her.

SB blocks a soul foot then germans her off an ankle lock. SB is pulled into the buckles then Mich rolls her up and wins.

Thoughts: It was short and not that much as expected. They just didn't have much time and it takes Shayna 10 minutes just to get started, yet alone to do a whole match.

Overall thoughts: There was only one new match as usual here. It was short, not that good and nothing you really need to see.

WWE NXT 4/1/2025

WWE NXT 4/1/2025

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/03/wwe-nxt-3252025.html

We see various wrestlers arrive earlier in the day.

Stephanie Vaquer comes out and Ava is in the ring. Ava says SV has shown why she is La Primiera and says she showed why she's the champ she is. She says both titles deserve to be defended frequently and they agreed that SV will relinquish the N-A Title. The next champ will be determined in a 6-woman ladder match at Stand and Deliver.

SV says she knows it's not a popular decision. She says NXT has given her opportunities and she wants to do the same for everyone else. She says she will give up the N-A Title if she gets to pick her opponent at Stand and Deliver.

Jordynne Grace comes out. Grace says now that Jaida Parker is out of the picture, they can fight at Stand and Deliver. Jaida Parker comes out. JP says she's here and not out of the picture. JP says she was close to winning and Grace tells her she fumbled her shot. She says JP wouldn't understand how titles work since she never held one. She says she goes to the back of the line. Grace and JP fight then security comes out. One of the security guards really flies out of the ring for Grace.

Trick Williams does an instagram video over the weekend. He said he called out Oba and is waiting to hear from him.

Oba Femi is interviewed in the parking lot. He says he's the champ and Trick answers to him, not the other way around. He says Trick will find out why you don't call out the ruler.

We go to the women's locker room. Arianna Grace says ladders seem dangerous. Fallon, Cora and someone else all argue.

WWE NXT Women's North American Title Qualifier - Zaria vs Lash Legend

They lock up and let go. Lash does a waistlock takedown. They do a double knuckle lock and Lash suplexes her for 2. Lash blocks a sunset flip. Zar chops her and Lash chops back. Zar guillotines her and Lash puts her on the apron. Zar slingshot sunset flips her for 2.

Lash slams her and both miss elbow drops. They grab each other by the throat. Lash hits knees to the gut then Zar rolls her up for 2. Lash pump kicks her out. Jakara Jackson argues with Sol outside. We go to break and return. Lash hits a big forearm on Zar. Lash and Zar double clothesline each other. They trade forearms on their knees. Zar hits punches then suplexes her. Zar hits a boot out of the corner. Zar is caught off the 2nd rope and takes a backbreaker.

Lash is hurricanrana'd off a powerbomb attempt. Zar pump kicks her then germans her. Zar chokeslams her for 2. Zar spears her. Zar hits an F-5 and wins.

Thoughts:
It was easily Lash's most competent singles match yet. They had a heavyweight style match here and Lash did pretty good. This was a lot better than it was expected to be and I had no issues with this.

Inamura and Briggs talk in the back. Inamura wants to go to Stand and Deliver. Wes Lee, Dupont and Igwe enter. The two sides argue. Inamura says Wes used to fight with honor and challenges him for tonight. Wes tells him to prepare to be disappointed like his Stand and Deliver dreams.

Kelani Jordan talks to Ava in the back. She says history will repeat itself at Stand and Deliver. Roxanne Perez comes in and says she will win the ladder match at Stand and Deliver. KJ says she won't be a stepping stone in her book and says she will get hers. Perez says she finally grew a backbone. Ava says only one will get in the ladder match as they face each other in the qualifier.

The D'Angelo Family talk about The Dark State in a warehouse with their crew. They say Dion Lennox is a puzzle who was a bookworm but was also a linebacker. He says he has a mouth and says he is a hothead with a short temper. He says he has degrees in psychology and is manipulative.

Luca says Osiris Griffin is a former lineman. He says he was told OG has great instincts. Rizzo says Cutler James was a high level wrestler from Duke. She says he has an unlimited gas tank and likes to break will and spirit. She says he did spartan races walking through water with logs on his back. Stacks says Saquon Shugars is the wildcard and turned down an offer from Harvard. He says people listen and follow to him and is a smooth talker.

Tony says it doesn't sound like they have some meatballs trying to get TV time, they have bad@sses. Stacks and Tony argue over what to do. Tony says Stacks plan didn't work well last time and he has to trust him this time. Tony says he will review what they said and says to keep your phones on.

Hank and Tank are wearing Pretty Deadly's gear. They tell Pretty Deadly it wasn't the advice they were looking for. Elton says they need to look like stars to be stars. Elton says they need to be a team and need to feel it. The No Quarter Catch Crew walk by and says they about to get their @sses kicked in a few minutes. Hank and Tank take off the PD gear and PD says they got this.

We get a video on The Culling. Niko says rage and aggression are seen as a strength by Spears. Brooks says Shawn needs to repeat the steps he taught them tonight. Shawn says he cherishes them all and says the skills they taught each other, he will use against Ricky Saints.

No Quarter Catch Crew (Myles Borne and Tavion Heights vs Hank and Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger)

Swipe Right from Evolve are in the front row. Borne and Tank go at it. Borne side headlocks him and yanks on his arm. Tav gets in and headlocks Tank. Tank does a splash off an up and over on Tav. Tav takes a double boot and a double axe handle. Hank and Tank do "yes boy" taunts then do a legdrop + splash combo. Hank corner lariats Tav.

Tav takes a double bodyblock in the ring. Borne lariats Hank over the top. Borne euros Hank and Tav lariats Hank for 2. Tav lariats Hank on the ropes for 2. Tav rolls up Hank for 2.

Tnak gets in and lariats Tav. Tank does a nice overhead suplex then lariats Borne in from the apron. Tank slingshot splashes Borne. Tank 2nd rope twisting shoulderblocks Tav. Tank spinebusters Tav for 2.

Borne totally misses a dropkick on Hank that is sold anyway. Tav is lifted for a ddt and pinned by Borne.

Thoughts:
It was a shorter one. They kept a good pace to it and what we got was fine but it was over before it really go to develop.

Trick Williams comes out. He says he called out Oba and didn't hear from him. Trick says even if Oba is champ, he's the man here. Je'Von Evans comes out. Trick says not to interrupt him. Evans says he understands him now. Evans says Trick was him this time last year. He says then Trick became NXT's golden child. Evans says he wants the #1 spot like Trick did. He says he doesn't need to be in someone's shadow to get it though.

Trick says Evans is in his shadow now. He says Evans doesn't know about selling tickets and repping the brand. He says winning the title is great but defending it is a different subject. He says he's 1-1. Evans says Trick doesn't know who he is. He says he's not Trick Williams, he's Carmelo Hayes.

He says Trick is telling him everything Melo told him. He says Trick can run him down to make himself feel better. He says he did something Trick never did and that's drop Oba Femi.

Oba Femi comes out. He tells Evans to say that nonsense to his face. Evans says he got a lucky shot and says never again. Evans says he would jump him again to become champ. Trick says better lucky next time and Oba tells him to shut up. Oba says Evans may be the future of NXT but it won't be at his expense. Oba says the now belongs to him.

Trick tells Evans to excuse himself. Oba says he can see both want a shot at the NXT Title. Ava says this can only end one way and signs Oba Femi vs Trick Williams vs Je'Von Evans in a triple threat title match at Stand and Deliver. Trick knocks Evans out. Oba lariats Trick over the top.

The Deep State then come out. They attack the three. Evans is catapulted into a double back body drop and Oba is booted out of the ring. Trick is surrounded and group beaten. Trick is thrown into a double powerbomb.

Thoughts: I still don't like them turning Trick into a more heelish character but this is really the only S&D main NXT could have done outside of just a straight Oba vs Trick match.

Andre Chase is told he cracked his rib against Ethan Page last week and there's no timetable for recovery. He is asked if he has a ride home. He says he's alone. Uriah Connors and Kale Dixon say they can help Chase and put him in a wheelchair. They then run into a fight in the back between Jordynne Grace and Jaida Parker that gets broken up.

Fraxiom and Hank and Tank talk. Frazer says Hank and Tank lost what they had and said they embarrassed themselves. Axiom says they have the titles but wish they had a friendship like them. Swipe Right walk in. They say they are the hottest thing in Evolve and see them as their Hardy Boys. They say they want to know how they measure up. Frazer agrees to a match. They say Roxanne Perez is a prodigy but also a smoke show as she walks by.

WWE NXT Women's North American Title Qualifier - Kelani Jordan vs Roxanne Perez

KJ shoves her off and side headlock takeovers her. RP headscissors her and they trade headscissors. They take each other down then stand off. We go to break and return. RP throws KJ back. KJ holds her arms and slaps her. KJ tiger feint armdrags her then dropkicks her.

KJ does an unusual handstand into a guillotine legdrop on the buckles. RP holds the ring skirt then eye rakes her. RP throws her into the post shoulder first. RP stomps on KJ's arm over the bottom rope connector.

RP yanks on KJ's arm. KJ cradles her for 2. KJ backrolls her for 2. RP misses a knee drop on the arm. KJ hits forearms on RP. RP northern lights suplexes her for 2. We go to PiP break and return. KJ facebusters her.

RP armdrags her and KJ rolls her up for 2. KJ steps over her leg and spinning heel kicks her. KJ misses a split legged moonsault. RP cartwheel kneedrops her on the neck for 2. RP slaps her. KJ fires up and flails on her. KJ hits a short ddt. KJ then does a split legged moonsault for the win.

Thoughts: It was nice to see KJ win though it was out of nowhere. It feels like it might be RP's swan song from NXT but we will see. RP worked the arm some here and I didn't love KJ's selling of it.

Robert Stone, Ava and Stevie Turner talk in the back. Stevie talks about what a headache Swipe Right has been and said she didn't know they were showing up. Stone talks about Stand and Deliver. She says The Dark State have been getting to her and can fight next week against Trick, Evans and Oba.

Ricky Saints is interviewed. He says Shawn Spears doesn't know him and he's not worried about the past, he's worried about the future. He says it took Shawn a long time to taste glory but he will do it quickly. Ricky says he will be the new N-A champ tonight.

Sol Ruca and Zaria talk in the back. Zar wants her with her at Stand and Deliver. Kelani Jordan comes in and says she beat Perez. She says she is winning the ladder match. Sol and Zaria disagree. Sol says she will be in a qualifier last week and Zaria is surprised. KJ says nice people finish last. Sol then says their name is "ZuRuca".

The Dark State do a video. They say no one is safe and you don't know when they will fight. Shugars says Tony D's crew is trying to find out who they are and says they just have one goal and are trying to take off next week.

WWE NXT North American Title - Shawn Spears (c) vs Ricky Starks

SS slides out to start. Ricky hits a big tope on him and pounds on him outside. Ricky hits chops. They seemingly botch a dropkick spot then Ricky hits a dropkick. Ricky hits punches in the corner. Ricky jumps off the apron and is kicked.

Ricky back body drops SS on the floor. Ricky walks the rails and hits SS. We go to PiP break and return. Ricky hits chops and goes down after being sent into the corner. SS hits mounted punches. SS slams him. SS goes up top and is hit. Ricky clubs on him up top then top rope jackhammers him. They trade punches on their knees. Ricky hits running lariats then dropkicks SS. Ricky spinebusters him.

Ricky tornado ddt's him on the floor. SS is given the title belt by Izzi and he hits Ricky with it for a 2 count. SS's mouth is busted open. SS tells him he made him do this. Ricky hits a death valley driver. Shawn's buddies try to help out and Ricky hits shots on them then does stuff on them outside. Ricky gets back in and hits a spear. Ricky then hits a roshambo and wins.

Thoughts: The break cut this one up some but I liked what we got. Ricky was a good face here and the crowd was super into him. Ricky really hustled here and showed some potential. I was a bit surprised they had him win with Stand and Deliver coming up though as you'd think they would want to crown him there.

Ethan Page then comes out and hits a cutter on Ricky. He then poses over him with the title.

Overall thoughts: It was a good show overall. They really only have about 2 weeks til Stand and Deliver and it's surprising that the card isn't fully set yet. Something screwed up there. We only got 4 matches on this one which was a bit low, especially for this roster and not all of them were that long. Ricky winning the title worked out well and his Stand and Deliver challenger is already set. I liked the Oba/Trick/Evans segment as well. I'd give this one a 6 out of 10 overall.

Pro Wrestling NOAH 3/2/2025 Memorial Voyage In Yokohama ~ NOAH Jr. Tag League 2025 ~

Pro Wrestling NOAH 3/2/2025 Memorial Voyage In Yokohama ~ NOAH Jr. Tag League 2025 ~

Jun stands on Daiki's neck. Daiki takes a double drive-by kick. Daiki takes double axe kicks for 2. Jun pops Daiki with a punch. Jun is pushed into Hox and Daiki karelin's lifts Jun. Eita comes in and hits dropkicks on all 4 opponents.

Kai hits forearms on Hox then takes a hook kick and a slingblade bulldog. Hox basement dropkicks him. Kai rolls over Ohara's back and armdrags him. Kai hits running swanton for 2. Ohara then hits tilt-a-whirl backbreakers on all opponents.

Kotoge dropkicks Kai for 2. Kai 2nd rope dropkicks Ohara. Ale handspring back elbows Kotoge then 2nd rope diving bulldogs him for 2. Ale slingshot splashes Ohara. Kotoge rolls into a cutter on Kai then side effects Ale.

Everyone starts getting a move in and Eita takes a double team emerald flowsion. Daiki hits a top rope double crossbody then is backdropped. Kotoge takes a reverse ddt and a top rope splash for 2. Kai then tope con hilos out. Ale corkscrews Kotoge off the top and win.

Thoughts:
I was surprised to see Ale win here. It was a little rushed but it was an okay opener. There was lots of fast action going on in this one and not that much selling.

Ale asks for a title shot from Eita after.

Black Menso-re & Shuhei Taniguchi vs. Anthony Greene & Zozaya

AG and Shu go at it. Shu wristlocks AG and AG side headlocks him. They trade facekicks and Shu shoulders him over. Zo and Menso go at it. Menso avoids a charge, taunts him and is thrown by the arm. Zo stomps the arm.

Menso eye pokes him. Zo is pulled over the top. Menso eye pokes AG. Menso eye pokes Shu on accident. Menso takes corner spears from Zo then a northern lights suplex.

Zo armlocks Menso. AG comes in and works Menso's arm. Zo swings Menso from the double underhook. Shu shoulders over Zo then corner lariats him. Shu backdrops Zo for 2. Zo fliyng kicks him. AG misses a top rope twisting crossbody then takes a double axe handle from Shu.

Zo does a top rope spaceman dive Taka Michinoku style. Menso rolls up AG for 2. AG superkicks Menso then piledrivers him for the win.

Thoughts: Menso's comedy pretty much took over the match and it wasn't much but comedy because of it.

Masao Inoue & Takashi Sugiura vs. All Rebellion (Galeno & Kaito Kiyomiya)

Gal wants a test of strength with TS. TS boots him in the gut then they do it. TS and Gal shoulder battle. Gal shoulders him over. KK and Ts go at it. KK cartwheels out of a wristlock, reverses it then is forearmed.

MI and KK go at it. MI side headlocks him then hits punches to the head. MI rakes KK's eyes on the top rope. KK kicks MI in the knee. Gal then kicks MI in the knee and hits forearms.

MI runs into a facekick in the corner from KK on a failed corner charge. MI hits corner lariats on KK then does a cobra clutch russian legsweep on him. MI running lariats KK for 2. MI rolls up KK for 2. KK dropkicks him. MI takes a double back elbow. KK elbow drops him and Gal splashes him for 2. TS is put on KK's knees and Gal swantons him there. MI blocks KK's figure four then KK flying knees him for 2. KK running knees MI and gets the win.

Thoughts:
This was all about Inoue which brought this one down. Inoue was a bit slow here and it kind of bordered on comedy here. This was nowhere near as good as it could have been.

RATEL'S (HAYATA, Tadasuke, YO-HEY & Yuto Kikuchi) vs. Team 2000X (Daga, Jack Morris, Owadasan & Tetsuya Endo)

It was all brawling outside early which didn't accomplish much. The heels took over for a bit. Jack and Daga hit a nice 3D here and Endo did a flying space tiger drop to the outside. Yuto did a tope con hilo and a handspring corkscrew kick inside the ring. Endo kicked out of an electric chair chest drop for 2. Endo picked up Yuto like a powerbomb then dropped him back into a low blow to win.

Thoughts: It wasn't as good as it could have been and had the usual heel work from the heels. There were too many people involved and not really enough time for this to be special as well.

Kazuyuki Fujita & Ulka Sasaki vs. Kenoh & KENTA

Kenoh and Ulka start us off. They go to the mat and Kenoh slides out. They go for leg kicks and Ulka grabs him from behind. Ulka heel hooks him and Kenoh ropebreaks.

Kaz and Kenta get in. Kaz misses a shot and is slapped. Kenta facekicks Kaz multiple times. Kaz hits forearms on Kenta. Kaz sends Kenta into the rails then foot chokes him outside. Kaz bang Kenta's head off the apron. They trade forearms for slaps. Kenta gets his legs split and Ulka armlocks Kenta.

Kenta goes for an armbar and Ulka snapmares him. Ulka kicks him in the back. Kaz gets in and both he and Ulka half-crab Kenta. Kaz stomps on Kenta then half crabs him again. Ulka ties up Kenta's legs and they slap each other on the mat.

Kaz stomps on Kenta and boots him. Kenta flying lariats Kaz. Kenoh gets in and facekicks Kaz. Kenoh pump kicks Ulka then high kicks Kaz down. Kaz hits forearms on Kenoh. Kenoh then hits chest kicks on Kaz.Kenoh 2nd rope double knee drops Kaz for 2. Kaz lariats Kenoh from behind then stomps him. Ulka spinning forearms Ken then suplexes him into an armbar. Ulka armbars Kenoh then flying kicks him. Ulka facekicks Kenoh then Kenoh pele kicks him.

Kenta top rope diving lariats Ulka then sends Kaz into the rail outside. Kenta bridging ddt's Ulka then corner facekicks him. Kenta corner dropkicks Ulka. Ulka and Kenta fight up on the 2nd rope and Kenta is enzugiri'd down. Ulka does a single underhook bomb on Kenta.

Ulka takes a double facekick. Kaz then takes a double suplex. Ulka takes a sandwich PK to the front and back at the same time. Kenta top rope double stomps Ulka for 2. Kenta then hits a go to sleep on Ulka and wins.

Thoughts: As usual, Kaz didn't bring a whole lot to this. He didn't sell much and was not letting anyone really get over anything on him. Ulka tried and didn't look too out of his league. It was acceptable but it was nothing you'd remember.

Kaz and Kenoh fight after and Kenoh is thrown out.

Thoughts: I was shocked Masa won this. Masa never wins these kind of matches. I didn't like the match that much though. Maru worked the arm for the first half of this and it meant totally nothing in the 2nd half like it had never happened.

They shake hands after.

Trew is stuck on the 2nd rope and Ama springboard swantons him. Trew is knocked out and the match is stopped. Ama and Jun win via knockout.

Thoughts: It was a disappointing end to a decent match Hopefully Trew is okay. It's not the end of the world for Ama and Jun but it was maybe the biggest match of Lacey's and Trew's career. The spot Trew got injured on looked brutal with Ama really getting some force. I liked what we got but sadly, we didn't get to see an ending.

Jun talks on the mic after. He says they didn't want the match to end that way but says they won. Jun says they are coming after the GHC Jr. Tag Titles.

Oz slaps and dropkicks him for 2. Oz does a wrist-clutch bomb on Soya for 2. Oz hits a top rope phoenix splash on Soya and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a longer match. The lumberjacks cheated for Ozawa as expected and got into it with the face lumberjacks as expected. Lumberjack matches are never great because of all the shenanigans that goes on and this was no exception. I thought they did alright with this but I probably would have had Soya beat up Ozawa a little more. I popped for Soya doing Ozawa's face-licking spot and for jumping off the top onto the lumberjacks outside.. It was a borderline good main but you don't really need to see it.

The heels beat up Soya a bit more after and pose on him. They then talk on the mic.  Ozawa gets on the mic and Soya is crying outside. He says Soya doesn't taste good but Tadasuke is tasty. He says Soya is not NOAH born and doesn't know the teaching of the NOAH Dojo. Masa Kitamiya stops Ozawa and says the NOAH Dojo is tough. Masa challenges Ozawa and says he's coming to shut him up.

Ozawa says he doesn't need the GHC National Title and throws it. He says this is Masa's champ to take it and become champ. He says Masa will always be a mid-tier wrestler and tells him to go home. Oz says he is now at the helm and says he will say how things go at the NOAH dojo.

Overall thoughts: It was an average show. NOAH just doesn't have the roster right now. I liked the main best. The semi-main was on the right track but then ended due to a legit knockout. Masa/Marufuji wasn't that good and Fujita didn't really hold up his end of the tag. The opener was okay and we had some comedy from Masao Inoue and Black Mensore that was what it was. There wasn't anything you really needed to see here and I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall.

CS gets on Vol's shoulders and splashes Krane to win the fall. Volcano's team wins the fall and match.

Thoughts: As usual, I see Volcano and Kraneo and think it'll suck because Kraneo can't move, but then they figure it out somehow and it turns into a fun match. Volcano looked like an impressive big man as usual and Pantera looked great here. He just moves so well and is athletic so he can make simple dives look even better. I enjoyed this one and was surprised that they were able to make this work.

Lightning Match - Soberano Jr. vs Neon

Will Sob actually try here and make this a good one? That's the question.

They lock up. Sob side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Neon flips over Sob using the ropes then backflips over him. Neon flying headscissors him out then tope con hilos him. Neon hits a springboard crossbody. Sob sentons his back and sentons his back.

Sob chops him and is superkicked. Sob superkicks him. Neon rolls into a dropkick on him. Neon springboard dropkicks him. Neon hits an inverted splash off the top and wins.

Thoughts: It was mostly the Neon show here. Sob didn't do that much except superkicks and one moonsault. I was surprised to see Neon win and was surprised it wasn't more competitive. They only had 10-15 minutes here and they definitely tried to keep things under that time limit so it wasn't that great.

Overall thoughts: It was an average show. I liked the second match best. The first match went way too long and wasn't that good. The main didn't get enough time here. I would just give it a 5 out of 10 and wouldn't really recommend it.
