Thoughts: It was a shorter one. What we got was alright but the time wasn't there for this to be anything great sadly. Kuukai was a bit fired up here which was nice.

Nagai and Titan hit stereo topes outside. Gedo jawbreakers Kush. Kush kicks him in the arm and hoverboard locks him. Masa crabs Nagai at the same time. Mist then la mistica's Titan. Kush gets the submission on Gedo and his team wins.

Thoughts: Like the opener, it was a shorter one. What we got looked okay but it was a waste of these days. We barely saw Titan at all here.

The Swirl (Blake Christian & Lee Johnson) vs. TMDK (Hartley Jackson & Ryohei Oiwa)

Oiwa wristlocks Lee. Lee side headlocks him and Oiwa reverses it. Oiwa shoulders Lee over and side headlocks him. Lee takes a double shoulderblock then a double elbow drop. Hart splashes Lee.

Hart is held for a Lee dropkick. Oiwa is put in tree of woe and takes a 619. Blake asai moonsaults out. Oiwa then takes a reverse ddt + springboard splash combo.

Blake springboard dropkicks Hart off the apron. Oiwa is then held for a dropkick to the back. Oiwa back body drops Blake out. Lee superkicks Oiwa then helluva kicks him. Oiwa side headlocks Lee. Oiwa lariats him down for 2. Oiwa side headlocks Lee again and Lee taps out.

Thoughts: I didn't like this that much. The work was fine, but everything else sucked. Oiwa just won the G1 and he got his butt kicked by two juniors in a low-card match on a big show. Then Lee completed disregarded his side headlock only to tap out to it seconds later.

MJF does a video with a version of the AEW Title that he doesn't currently hold. He calls Japan a third world country. He says he has beaten every big name in wrestling. He says he's giving Oiwa a chance to wrestle for his "Triple B" title and offers it at Wrestle Kingdom. He says he will beat him with a move as  simple as a side headlock takeover. He says Oiwa will have embarrassed himself and country when he's done with him.

Oiwa says he will submit MJF in the Tokyo Dome and says not to disrespect NJPW.

Kazuma Sumi, Ryusuke Taguchi, Toru Yano & Yuya Uemura vs. House Of Torture (DOUKI, Ren Narita, Shun Skywalker & Yoshinobu Kanemaru)

Kanemaru yanks on Yuya's leg then figure fours him. Yuya armbars Kanemaru. Kanemaru rolls up Yuya for 2 counts. Yuya front suplexes Kanemaru. Yuya top rope crossbodies Kanemaru and pins him.

Thoughts: The faces got a lot of offense in and the heels didn't which was nice. Sumi got to show off a bit. It was an average match though.

Yano points at Shun's NJPW TV Title in front of Tana after and Shun takes the title from him.

Hyo, Shota Umino & YOH vs. House Of Torture (Dick Togo, SHO & Yujiro Takahashi)

Togo grabs a weapon and the ref and Hyo chase him on all four's. Hyo sunset flips Togo for 2. Hyo stunners him and rolls him up. Hyo then pins Togo.

Thoughts: It was a shorter bout. It wasn't good and had comedy with Hyo trying to retrieve his stuffed animals and walking on all fours.

Hyo gets his toys back after. The faces tell Togo he's under arrest then they handcuff him.

A mystery person does a video claiming he hasn't fought Yoh. He wants a Tokyo Dome match for the Jr. Title and says if the person loses to him, he will be thrown out of NJPW. The mystery guy hits Yoh from behind then Yoh low blows him. Yoh then unmasks the mystery guy and it's SHO. Yoh accepts the title match challenge but says SHO must be thrown out of House of Torture if he loses. He says SHO then will have to team with him again.

Yuta comes in and hits chops and forearms on JC. JC back body drops him. JC hits corner spears on him. JC flying corner euros him. JC throws Yuta then misses a standing moonsault. Yuta la magistral's JC into an armbar. Mox does a hold on Shingo and JC breaks it by powerbomb Yuta onto them. JC does a tour of the islands spinning slam on Yuta. JC then pins Yuta.

Thoughts: It was acceptable. They didn't quite get to go all out here and do a great match. What we got was really more of a preview than anything else. Unbound winning was a bit of a suprise. Shingo got busted open during this one.

Shingo and Mox fight after. Shingo bites him and Mox leaves. Shingo then hits his own death rider variation on Yuta.

Shingo gets on the mic after and says it doesn't end with this. He challenges Mox for 1/4.

CN and Ice trade shots. Ice blocks CN's low blow. Ice pop-up knees CN in the face. Will hidden blade's Ice then Oskar. CN swings a chair at Will, Will ducks and Oskar gets hit. CN and Will are DQ'd.

Thoughts: This was all about Will and Newman not getting along. That was to be expected and was not surprising. It was mostly a free-for-all though. Tag team rules weren't respected much and it was people doing what they wanted. The selling wasn't the best either. It was what it was and I thought it was average.

Newman throws a chair at Oskar's face after. Will and Newman push and slap each other. United Empire breaks them up then CN hits forearms on Will. CN drops Akira with a shot. Will hits mounted shots on CN. Newman gets on the mic after. He says Will thinks he is the leader and thinks he can do what he wants. Newman then challenges Will for the Tokyo Dome.

KO hits an OWA on Oleg. KO pumping knees Yota then he hits an OWA on him. KO pins Yota.

Thoughts: I didn't like it that much. That 2nd rope electric chair drop spot was super dangerous and a terrible idea. They had some creative spots, but none of them meant much. It wasn't boring as it had a lot of action, but it was not really a smart match. I also really don't understand why Kenny is doing matches in Japan instead of AEW if he's healthy.

Kenny talks on the mic after. He says he wants the IWGP Title on 1/4.

Super Junior Tag League 2026 Final Match - Ichiban Sweet Boys (Kosei Fujita & Robbie Eagles) vs. Unbound Co. (Robbie X & Taiji Ishimori)

Thoughts: It was alright. It was high speed juniors craziness here. It was almost all high flying and action. There wasn't a lot of selling as expected but they didn't do a bunch of dangerous or big moves at least.

Mistico comes out with the junior tag titles. Mistico talks on the mic. Mistico gives them the titles as he says him and El Desperado have to vacate the titles due to Desperado's injury. They agree to a 3-way match with Kosei and Eagles, though I'm not sure how it is supposed to work out since Mistico doesn't have a partner now.

IWGP Global Heavyweight Title Match - Gabe Kidd (c) vs. Taichi

Gabe lariats him down before the match starts. Gabe tries to pin him but the ref won't count. Gabe gets on the mic and calls Tai a b!tch. He says he's not on his level. The bell rings. Gabe forearms and backdrops him.

Tai is thrown out and Gabe stomps him outside. Tai is sent into the rails. Gabe pounds on him in the front row and throws a young lion into the seated. They go back in and Gabe does jumping jacks. Tai running facekicks him.

Gabe 2nd rope canadian destroyers him. Gabe runs the ropes and rebound lariats him. Gabe package pildrivers him for 2. Gabe fisherman busters Tai and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like it. The story of Tai trying to survive Gabe was nice but they did way too much here with 2nd rope canadian destroyers and freaking ganso bomb's not being enough to put people down. They just went too far with this one.

Gabe gets on the mic and tells Hiroshi Tanahashi to put the title around his waist. Tana does. Gabe offers a handshake then drops Tana with a forearm. Gabe then throws the title down. Gabe piledrivers Tana. Yuya Uemura comes out, spears Gabe and hits mounted forearms on him. Yuya says he will put an end to him and tells him to fight him.

Jon Moxley gets in the ring. He boots Yuya and hits a death rider ddt on him. Yuya is double teamed. Shingo comes out to help. Gabe forearms Shingo and Mox death rider ddt's Shingo. Gabe piledrivers Yuya. Mox says if you want respect from them, you have to earn it. Mox says he will see them on 1/4. Gabe says it's The Death Riders vs New Japan and The Death Riders vs The World.

Thoughts: Gabe should really be fired from NJPW for piledriving Tana or Tana needs to come back and fight him. It would really be hard to buy any other result here. The NJPW faces looked bad for not coming out to help here.

Overall thoughts: It was a longer show. The undercard was pretty large here. They had a ton of guests from AEW here and it's was nearly an AEW vs NJPW show. They heavily focused on building up the Tokyo Dome show here with multiple matches being made for it. The undercard had shorter matches as usual with none really getting the time to be great. I didn't like Oiwa's or Hyo's matches at all. The Death Riders' tag match was acceptable. The IWGP Tag Title match was more story focused and was average. Kenny Omega took a horrible looking bump in his match. They didn't sell much in it but it was full of action. The semi-main was fine. They went too far in the main event and I didn't like it. This is a hard show for me to rate. I feel like NJPW did everything they were supposed to do here, but I didn't actually love any of the matches that much. That has to play a role in this rating. I'd give the show a 6 out of 10 overall mostly for effort, but the wrestling here could have been better. It was acceptable.
