WWE Friday Night Smackdown 11/30/2012 Review

WWE Friday Night Smackdown 11/30/2012 Review

Last week's show is here:

John Cena came out and talked. They showed tons of clips from their match on Raw on Monday and Cena insulted him and such.
"Dolph Ziggler doesn't have a match, he has a fight because somehow on Smackdown tonight, Dolph Ziggler has to survive a match with Sheamus." - John Cena
"You shouldn't be worried about Dolph Ziggler, you should be worried about me. This is my show." - Alberto Del Rio
"Since I was here, I figured I'd have a match, which I do, with you here, now." - John Cena
John Cena vs Alberto Del Rio
"It's a statistical, almost certainty that Dolph Ziggler becomes the next champion." - JBL

"Alberto, break it up." - Ref
The finish
John Cena beat Alberto Del Rio with a top rope legdrop. Good match here. Del Rio did some different moves than usual and Cena was fine. I don't know why this was the opener but it was good. The fake crowd heat was really bad and Alberto must have jumped off the top 4 times, but I liked it. Rating:***

Ziggler hit Cena in the back of the head with a suitcase.

"I know you guys aren't going to start magically getting along especially after Raw, but tonight we got a 6-man against Wade Barrett and the Prime Time Players. Can't you just get along?" - Kofi Kingston
"You wanna know if we can get along? The answer is YES." - Kane
"Yes, yes." - Both
"I know you're upset."
"But this match between Sheamus and Dolph, you stay out. But after the match, you feel the need to take out your buisness? Do it." - Booker T
The Great Khali vs David Otunga
"This might be harder than passing the bar exam in the ring." - Josh
"David Otunga is 21-0 in the ring. What kind of stupid comment is that?" - JBL
The Great Khali won with a brain chop after interference from Hornswoggle. This was a really quick squash.

Team Hell No and Kofi Kingston vs Wade Barrett and The Prime Time Players
"As commentators, they're good wrestlers." - JBL
"Wah wah wah, call the wambulance. Josh Wahthews." - JBL
Josh Mathews claimed that Daniel Bryan did 12 hours of MMA practice a day.
The finish
Daniel Bryan beat Darren Young with the No Lock. Decent match here but not what it should have been. It didn't really pick up until the end but was still good. Darren Young took pretty much all the offense. Rating:**3/4

"Every opponent I've been in the ring with as of late, to me, has looked like the Big Show. And that's bad news for Blondie." - Sheamus
"When I'm done with Dolph Ziggler, he's going to be begging for John Cena to come down and put him out of his misery." - Sheamus

"I will be selecting one member of the audience to be my apprentice." - Damien Sandow

"I will ask you three questions, which you must answer successfully," - DS
Question 1: How many wheels on a tricycle?
Dude: 3
Question 2: How often does the United States hold presidential elections?
Dude: Every 4 years
Question 3: What is the orbital velocity of Jupiter's moon Europa?
Dude: I have no idea.
Damien Sandow: You ignoramus. The answer is 13.74 km per second. Congratulations, you have embarrassed yourself, your family and the entire state of Louisiana.
"That public display of ignorance is only surpassed by that ridiculous haircut. You are dismissed. Leave my ring immediately." - Damien Sandow
Damien Sandow vs Tyson Kidd
"Tyson Kidd, wrestled in New Japan in the Super Junior Cup." - JBL calling the Best of the Super Juniors the wrong name.

Damien Sandow beat Tyson Kidd with the Terminus. This was a light squash and okay. Both men looked fine here but this was really nothing.

"John Cena is not to be trusted. He is the biggest liar in the history of the WWE and liars get what's coming to them - a money in the bank briefcase shot to the back of their skull." - DZ
Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal vs The Uso Brothers - Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso
Jinder Mahal got the win here with a full nelson into a drop. Quick quick match here. The Uso's got most of the offense in but it was no good as they lost.

Dolph Ziggler vs Sheamus
Sheamus beat Dolph Ziggler when Big Show interfered. Decent match but nothing special and the finish was pretty dumb. It was a bad waste of a decent match.  Cena then came down and we got a big brawl:
Overall thoughts: This was a good wrestling show but angle and storyline wise, it was a total waste. They advanced nothing and didn't build up much minus Sandow being awesome by calling out fans. I wouldn't go say check it out, but if you feel like watching it, it's not a bad episode.
