5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block A Match - Ami Sourei vs. Yuria Hime

They lock up. Hime hits a chest forearm flurry. Ami shoulders her over three times for 2 then half-crabs her. Hime ropebreaks. Ami stomps her back then chops her between the ropes.  

Ami splashes her on the ropes for 2. Hime hits chest forearms then is chopped down. Hime basement dropkicks her for 2 in the knee. Ami double chops her then toerture racks her. Hime is put in reverse tree of woe and Ami corner splashes her. Hime ducks a sliding lariat then does a headscissors with an armlock.

Ami ropebreaks and Hime running facekicks her on the ropes. Hime facekicks her then leg lariats her for 2. Hime headscissors her with an armlock and rolls her into a devil's kiss. Hime puts the hold back on and Ami rope breaks again. Hime 2nd rope dropkicks her. 

Hime hits boots to the face then cradles her for 2. Ami hits a big lariat then suplexes her for 2. Ami blue thunders her for the win.

Thoughts: Hime had a good showing. I guess it was an acceptable opener but there wasn't much logic or face/heel work here. Hime lost again and so far has no wins in the tournament. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block B Match - Konami vs. Momo Kohgo

Momo dropkicks her to start and hits a bunch of forearms. Momo flying headscissors her. Momo is pulled down off the buckles to the outside and is sent into the seats. Kon foot chokes her in the corner. Kon back kicks her.

Momo hits chest forearms on Kon. Momo trips her into the ropes and does a 619. Momo 619's her under the bottom rope outside. Momo springboard dropkicks her for 2. Momo then rolls her into a submission.

Kon hits leg kicks. Momo hits chest forearms. Kon spin kicks her and chest kicks her down. Momo dropkicks her. Momo then hits mounted shots. Momo superkicks her in the head twice. Momo 2nd rope twisting splashes her. Kon avoids a tiger feint ddt and sleepers her. Momo rolls out and la magistral's her for 2.

Kon high kicks her then germans her for 2. Kon sleepers her again and Momo is out. Kon wins.

Thoughts: They kept things moving here. Momo was okay as the face but I didn't think it was that good. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block A Match - Aya Sakura vs. Bozilla

They lock up an Boz throws her off. Aya hits chest forearms then dropkicks her twice. Boz bodyblocks her then hair throws her. Boz hits a corner splash then hits bolo punches. Bozthen bites her. Boz suplexes her then sentons her for 2.

Boz then throws her out of the ring over the top. Boz throws her into the seats. Boz boots her around in the ring. Aya hits chest forearms then Boz forearms her down. Boz misses a corner splash and backbreakers her off a spinning heel kick attempt. Boz stretches Aya on the ropes.

Boz full nelson backbreakers her for 2. Aya hits leg kicks. Aya dropkicks her in the knee then spinning heel kicks her in the corner. Aya kicks her in the back several times. Boz mocks her and Aya boots her in the head. 

Aya triangles her. Boz then hits a big powerbomb to escape. Boz lariats her then death valley drivers her for 2. Boz suplexes her and msises a vader bomb. Aya high kicks her. Boz 2nd rope fallaway slams her then vader bombs her for 2.

Aya rolls her up for 2 twice. Aya headkicks her. Boz throws her off then sitout powerbombs her for the win.

Thoughts: I didn't like this one. It took Boz too long to take out Aya. Aya's not high enough on the card to make this work and she's just too small. It should have just been a quick squash. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block A Match - Saori Anou vs. Ruaka

Ru eye rakes her then is tripped into an indian deathlock variation. SA axe kicks her back. SA is tripped and pulled out then sent into the seats. Ru chokes her with a towel. Ru shoulders her over then stands on her. 

SA goes up and over her and suplexes her. SA then does a heavenly lock to her. They trade chest forearms. Ru crossbodies her against the bottom rope. Ru misses a senton and SA fisherman suplexes her for 2. Ru forearms her then SA forearms her back.

Ru throws a box in SA's face then delay fisherman suplexes her for 2. Ru double arm chokeslams her for 2. Ru germans her and goes for another. SA slips out and backslide bridge pins her to win.

Thoughts: It didn't get a ton of time. Ru cheated and roughed SA up a but and SA did various submissions on her. It was acceptable for what it was.

One of Ruaka's buddies nails the ref after.  

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block B Match - Hina vs. Ranna Yagami

They trade waistlocks and wristlocks. Hina side headlocks her. Ran does a headscissors. Ran running dropkicks her and stomps on her. Ran elbow drops her arm and knee drops it for 2. Ran kicks her in the back. Hina slams her three times.

Hina crab her and Ran immediately ropebreaks. They trade chest forearms. Ran hits chest kicks. Hina throws her overhead then Ran chest kicks her down. Ran kicks her in the corner and in the back for 2. Ran then goes for the armbar. Hina ropebreaks.

Ran PK's her and knees her in the shoulder. Ran then armbars her. Hina hip throws her and crabs her. Hina wrist-clutch, half-nelson slams her. Hina puts her on her shoulder gut first and spins her down. Ran cradles her for 2. Hina hits a running neckbreaker and Ran no sells it. Ran high kicks her then Hina wrist-clutch half-nelson exploders her. 

Ran leg lariats her. Hina gets a 2 count on her then Ran gets her from behind with a pin and wins.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time and was competitive. It was basically and undercard match though. There weren't any real heels or faces here and there wasn't much story wise going on. 

Ran appears to want a title shot after. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block B Match - Sareee vs. Suzu Suzuki

They butt heads and trade forearms. They then grab each other by the hair. Sare hair throws her then Suzu hair throws her. Suzu foot chokes her. They trade chest forearms outside. Suzu is sent into the seats. Sare then gets sent into into the seats.

Suzu spits water at her. Sare then does the same and throws water at her. Sare is sent into the seats. Suzu snapmares her and back kicks her. Suzu taunts her then Sare kicks her in the back for 2. Sare facekicks her around. They trade facekicks then forearms.

Sare slams her. Sare indian deathlocks her. Sare top rope dropkicks her. Suzu suplexes her. Suzu running knees her in the corner. Suzu half-nelson slams her for 2. They trade forearms on the buckles and Sare superplexes her. Sare double stomps her off the buckles for 2. 

Sare stomps on her. They trade forearms. Suzu forearms her then Sare dropkicks her. Sare dropkicks her through the ropes. Suzu chest forearms Sare on the apron then apron piledrivers her. Sare rolls Suzu into a double stomp. 

They headbutt each other outside while grabbing the hair. They german each other in the ring. Suzu tequila shot's her for 2. Suzu germans her for 2. Suzu is up top and Sare germans her down. Sare double stomps her for 2. Sare top rope double stomps her for 2. Sare does a wrist-clutch backdrop. Suzu germans her and the time limit expires.

Thoughts: When they started doing time call outs and we weren't close to the ending, it was clear it was going the time limit. It was what you would want from these two with them being rude and vicious to each other and stiff each other. The had a main event style match here just we didn't get an ending. I liked what we got though it could have been a bit smarter.

They fight more after. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block A Match - Saya Iida vs. Miyu Amasaki

They trade front facelocks to start. They each go for leglocks. Saya shoulders her over. Saya hits chops in the corner. Saya goes up top and is knocked down to the apron. Miyu facebusters her over the 2nd rope. Miyu then top rope plancha's her outside. 

Miyu top rope diving facebusters her. Miyu scholar collars her.  Saya back body drops her then sliding lariats her. Miyu ddt's her. They trade forearms on their knees. Saya hits chops. Miyu hits chest forearms. Saya corner lariats her. Saya goes for a muscle buster but Miyu turns it into a nice ddt. Miyu then gets a 2 count on her. Saya spinebusters her.

Saya lifts her and gets ddt'd but no sells it. Saya then lariats her but Miyu rolls her up for 2. Saya hits a muscle buster drop and wins.

Thoughts: I didn't like this. It was rushed and the finishing section was sloppy. 

They talk to each other on the mic after and shake hands.  

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block B Match - Momo Watanabe vs. HANAKO 

They test strength. Momo wristlocks her then Hana reverses it. Momo side headlocks her then takes her over. Momo eye rakes her then Hana shoulders her over. Hana is pulled over the top then thrown into the seats. Hana is sent into the post and thrown back in.

Momo kicks her around. Momo kicks her in the back then camel clutches her. Hana hits chest forearms. Momo kicks her in the back then Hana samoan drops her. Hana hits a corner splash then a knee drop for 2. 

Momo chickewings her. They trade forearms. Momo hits chest kicks. Hana splashes her on the ropes then facekicks her. Momo hits 2 suplexes then is suplexed. Hana lariats her. Momo tiger suplexes her then PK's her for 2.  

Momo is up top and is facekicked. Hana suplexes her on the apron but Momo holds on and suplexes her on the floor. Momo b-drivers her in the ring for 2. Hana short arm lariats her then running lariats her for 2. Momo misses a bat shot and is suplexed. Hana head and arm choke spinning drops her for 2. Hana hits a sitout torture rack bomb. Momo then rolls her up off the pin attempt. Momo kicks her in the head twice for 2. Momo headkicks her and Hana powerbombs her for 2.

Hana is pushed into the ref. Ruaka tries to help Momo but ends up hitting her with a box. Hana sitout torture rack drops Momo and pins her.  

Thoughts: There was a lot of high impact stuff here with the two tossing each other around. They each took their fair share of hard bumps in this one. There were some things I liked in this but some of it could have been done better. I'd give this a positive rating and thought it was mostly good.

Hana talks on the mic after.

Overall thoughts: I didn't like the undercard that match on this one with nothing being that great. Hina/Ranna got a lot of time but was just an average match. Sareee/Suzu was what it looked like it would be - two girls being rude and aggressive towards each other. They did what they were supposed to do there. Saya/Miyu was rushed and sloppy. I liked the main but it could have been better. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 mostly for Sareee/Suzu delivering here as it was average otherwise.

We are in Minneapolis, MN. 

They announce that they are selling a shirt for charity for a recent school shooting.

Santino Marella comes out. Santino says last week, Trick Williams pushed his buttons. He said what he did to Trick's lawyer was self-defense but he may have legal issues coming his way. He says it'll be Trick Williams vs Mike Santana at Bound for Glory for the title.

Mike Santana comes out. Mike says finally it's the news everyone has been waiting for. He says it's the biggest fight at the biggest show of the year. He says he will bring the belt back where it belongs. He says Trick not defending his title is "b!tch moves".

He says if Trick won't show up, he will have to come to Trick's home turf. He says the clock is ticking. 

Gia interviews Mara Shade and The Hardy Boyz in the back. Mara is asked if she's okay. She says last week was disgusting. She says she was hurt and down but she's up again. She says they will put their opponents in check. Matt says Order 4 crossed the line and says what Agent Zero did is an act of cowardice. Jeff says they disrespected them last week and will pay. Matt says they will get the extreme beating they deserve.

Mike Santana and Moose talk in the back. Moose wishes him good luck at Bound for Glory. He said he wrestled both and says he has no doubt Mike will bring the title back. AJ Francis is on the phone with Trick Williams I think. Moose asks if AJ is still being Trick's little b!tch. Moose challenges AJ for next week and says he hopes he doesn't go to Trick when he embarrassing him. AJ tells Mike that him and Santino will hear from Trick's lawyers.

Ryan Nemeth comes out to talk. He says his brother Nic Nemeth returns to TNA tonight.

Matt Cardona comes out. He says he has a match in a few minutes and tells Ryan to get out of the ring. He says nobody cares what he has to say. Ryan says Matt has brother envy and is jealous he doesn't have a big brother. Matt says his big brother sucks. Ryan takes a swing at him and Matt hits him with the mic. 

Matt Cardona vs Frankie Kazarian

They lock up and Kaz shoves him. Kaz shoulders Matt over then Matt hits a dropkick. Matt flapjacks him. Kaz misses a legdrop over the 2nd rope then Matt dropkicks him through the ropes. Kaz hides behind Ryan Nemeth outside and Matt forearms both over. Ryan grabs Matt's boots and is kicked away. Kaz then pounds on Matt.

Kaz chokes Matt on the ropes and pulls his neck forward. Kaz russian legsweeps him for 2. Kaz springboard legdrops Matt. They go outside and Kaz hits shots. Matt is sent into the post.

Kaz pounds on Matt in the ring. Kaz says "Verne Gagne sucks". Kaz chokes Matt then chinlocks him. They crossbody each other at the same time then lariat and facekick each other at the same time. Matt bangs Kaz's face off the mat then corner lariats Kaz. Matt dropkicks him off the buckles. Matt dropkicks him through the ropes.

Ryan distracts Matt and Matt takes a slingshot cutter for 2. Matt spinebusters him for 2. Ryan distracts Matt again and Matt throws him in. Matt hits a leg lariat on Ryan then Kaz beats Matt with a beach break.

Thoughts: It was a very average and basic match without much of interest going on. Ryan got involved way too much here which didn't help things.

Gia interviews Kaz after and asks if he knew he would need help to win. Kaz says Gia tried to diminish his win. He says she sucks at her job. He says he will show her how to conduct an interview and does it. Kaz says he has his eyes on the International Title. He says that tile should be held by someone with honor like him, not a dirty jarhead. 

Steve Maclin comes out and challenges Kaz to come in. 

The Iinspiration do a promo. They say they are feeling good as they won last week. They say they are keeping a close eye on tonight's Knockouts Title celebration then do their pose.

The Elegance Brand are in the ring for the Knockouts World Title celebration. They have a bunch of gold party decorations. George Iceman/The Person Concierge puts over Ash and brings her out. He says they have a gift for her and it's a painting of Ash dressed like a queen with the title. They then show her custom champagne they made for her. George says they thank her as she is their savior. 

Ash gets on the mic. She puts herself over and says she's TNA savior. She says TNA needed saved and she brought the title home. She says she beat Macy and Jacy to become champ.

Masha Slamovich comes out. She says at Victory Road, she will get a title shot. She says she will prove why Ash's win was a fluke. She says she will beat veery single one of their @sses. She then beats up The Brand. Ash throws champagne in Masha's eyes and the girls beat up on Masha. 

Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee come out. The girls all fight. Masha's head is banged off the table. The Iinspiration then come out and the heels run. Masha then punches through the painting.

Thoughts: I thought Masha was a jerk here for attacking the Brand and ruining Ash's stuff. I was shocked no one got sent through the table or painting.  

TNA Injury Report

JDC is out with a head injury. Mara Sade is cleared from bruising. Trey Miguel is cleared as is Trick Williams. 

Mustafa Ali does a video. He says he is issuing a final warning. He says anyone who opposes him or Order 4 will be shut down. He says The System took a stand against them. He threatens The System. He says stand with Order 4 or fall with The System.

#1 Contender to the Knockouts Title - Jody Threat vs Dani Luna vs Indi Hartwell

Jody gets between the other two and Dani rolls her up. Dani piefaces Jody and Jody shove her. Dani takes a back body drop and Jody hits a lariat flurry on Indi. Jody suplexes Indi for 2. Indi pulls Dani over the top. Jody topes both opponents outside. 

Indi hits shots on Jody then running facekicks her. Indi is pushed off the top to the floor. Dani hits like a swinging back rack bomb on Jody. Dani overhead suplexes Indi.

Jody hits chops on Dani. Dani lariats Jody over the top. Indi hits lariats on Dani then spinebusters her. Indi top rope elbow drops Dani's back for 2. 

Dani flying facekicks Indi. Jody michinoku drivers Dani for 2. Jody facekicks Indi on the apron. Jody bangs Indi's head off the buckles. Jody cannonballs Dani off the apron. Jody and Indi botch a spot. Jody cradles Indi then Indi cradles her. They trade pin attempts and Indi pins Jody to win.

Thoughts: Indi's been getting pushed so this wasn't a total shock. It was a little better than I expected and there was only one botch here.

Dani Luna pounds on Indi after. Jody pulls Dani off then Dani her and beats up Indi more.

We see clips of Eric Young doing a promo over Joe Hendry from last week.

Joe Hendry comes out to do a promo. He says he can appear anywhere in the world at any time. He said he just appeared on the European tour and beat up The Miz. He said he got to be on NXT and his heart is in Minneapolis right now. Joe talks about Eric Young attacking him. 

Joe says he's not a hard man to find but says EY needed to attack him from behind. He says EY's name and says we will see if he appears. 

Eric Young comes out with The Northern Armory. He says he has a problem and Joe is the problem. He says he waves his arms like an idiot and says he wants the people to believe in him. He says he thinks Joe is the problem and he believes he is willing to do whatever it takes to fix the problem. He says there's a state of emergency in TNA and says the cleanse will start with him.

Joe says if EY has a problem with him, they can have a match tonight. EY says no. EY says he calls the shots and isn't wrestling here tonight. He says the cleanse begins next week. Joe agrees and says EY will find out why the entire world chants, "we believe".

Santino talks to Leon Slater in the back. Santino says The Rascalz are cleared and says he's cooking up something big for him that will make him a happy champ.

We get a video from Trick Williams. He's at home. He says he's trying to watch football and his phone is blowing up. He says he doesn't owe TNA a thing. He says if people stop bothering him, maybe he will think about it but he says he's not showing up to TNA anytime soon. 

Mara Sade and The Hardy Boyz (Matt and Jeff Hardy) vs Order 4 (Tasha Steelz, Jason Hotch and John Skyler)

Matt and John go at it. Matt forearms him over then hits shots on John in the corner. Jeff legdrops John over the bottom rope. Jeff atomic drops Jason then legdrops his inner thighs. Jeff then elbow drops him for 2. 

Jeff and Mara hit a triple ddt together. Mara waistlock takedowns Tasha then knee drops her. Mara misses a knee drop then is sent out. Mara step up enzugiri's Tasha inside. Matt bangs Jason's head off the buckles. 

Agent Zero trips Matt and bangs his head off the apron outside. The ref then ejects Zero. Jason topes Matt then stomps him. Matt takes a double shot to the gut and a double bulldog. Matt then takes a double elbow drop. 

John pounds on Matt then chinlocks him. Matt is double teamed in the corner. John gets a 2 count on Matt. Matt hits a side effect on John. Mara comes in and hits lariats on Tasha. She then sling blades her. Mara powerslams Tasha for 2.

Mara is pulled down by the hair and Tasha pounds on her. Tasha hits elbow drops on her. Tasha hits corner spears on Mara. Jeff and John get in. Jeff hits a kick on John then pendulum double boots him in the corner. John rolls up Jeff for 2.

Jeff jumps off Matt's back into a splash on John. Matt side effect's John. Jeff 2nd rope splashes John for 2. Jeff chinlocks John. Jeff hits corner spears. Jeff hits a whisper in the wind on Jason and John. John slingshot spears Matt and throws him out. Matt's head is banged off the apron.

Mara and Tasha trade shots. Mara lifting double underhook codebreakers Tasha. Mara is saved by Matt then John is pushed into Jason. Matt hits a twist of fate on John. Mara top rope moonsaults John. Jeff top rope swantons John and wins.

Thoughts: It was an okay match here. It had the usual issues mixed tags have with the men not trying to get the easy win over the women. Mara did a Lita tribute during this one.

Nic and Ryan Nemeth come in the ring after. They hit zig zag's on The Hardy's from behind. Mara argues with Nic and is superkicked for it. 

Overall thoughts: It was the usual episode of Impact. There wasn't anything too must see here and we only had 3 matches within 2 hours which isn't good. There wasn't a ton of news here either outside of Santana vs Trick and I guess Indi vs Ash for the title being made official. I wouldn't recommend this and would only give it the usual TNA 5 out of 10 rating.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block B Match - Momo Watanabe vs. Ranna Yagami

They lock up and go to the ropes. Ran trips her and they trade front facelocks. Momo side headlock takeovers her, is put in a headscissors and they get up. Momo eye rakes her. Ran snapmares her and kicks her in the back. Ran then challenges Momo to kick her in the back. Momo then just boots her in the head.

Ran hits chest forearms and is pulled into the ropes. Momo kicks her into the back of the head. Ran is thrown into the seats. Momo hair throws her and boots her around. Momo forearms her down. Momo misses a corner charge, is kicked in the head then dropkicked. Ran chest kicks her and goes for the armbar.

They trade chest kicks. Ran his a couple in a row then Momo suplexes her. Momo PK's her for 2 then chickenwings her. Ran armbars her. Ran knees her in the head and rolling armbars her. 

Mom head kicks her and gets high kicked. Ran leg lariats her. Momo hits another headkick for 2. Momo grounded chickenwings her and submits her.

Thoughts: We had a lot of kicks here and it was a decent match between two girls are somewhat similar style wise. Ran lost as expected but she did what she was supposed to here and it turned out okay.  

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block C Match - Bea Priestley vs. Mei Seira

They evade moves to start. BP does a quick snapmare then backslides her for 2. BP rolls her up for 2. Mei is on the 2nd rope and is lariated hard out to the floor. BP headscissors her from the apron. BP hits a hard forearm and boots her in the corner.

BP foot chokes her then running knees her in the corner for 2. Mei cradles her for 2 and is forearmed over. Mei lariats her on the ropes then springboard dropkicks her. Mei guillotines her. BP then hits a ddt. They roll each other up for 2. 

Mei dropkicks her then Bea germans her. Mei rolls her into a pin attempt but BP reverses it. BP forearms her down. BP falcon arrows her for 2. Mei rolls her up and gets the surprise win.

Thoughts: Mei took a hard lariat from the 2nd rope out to the floor. I liked it. There were a ton of quick pin attempts here and with Mei eventually being able to pull the upset off.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block C Match - Yuna Mizumori vs. Azusa Inaba

Yuna offers a handshake and tries to pressure her into doing it. AI just pump kicks her. AI is thrown out. They forearm each other on the floor. AI hits chest kicks on her. AI running chest kicks her outside. 

AI boots her in the gut. Yuna sweeps her and AI bridges out of a pin attempt before pump kicking her. Yuna lariats her. Yuna rolls her up for 2. Yuna goes for an AA then a pin. AI rolls her backwards and pins her.

Thoughts: It was another short and fast one here with a lot of quick action. I would have liked to have seen this get more time to play out than what it got. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block A Match - Ruaka vs. Ami Sourei

Ami poses in the aisle and is hit with a running forearm. Ru throws her into the post. Ami is pulled down over the top rope. Ru forearms her outside. They shoulder battle. Ru eye rakes her then sends her into the post.

Ru boots her in the head then bangs her head off the buckles. Ami corner splashes her twice. Ami sliding lariats her for 2. They shoulder battle and Ru knocks her over. Ami then shoulders her over and crabs her. 

Ami stomps on her then chops her while she's tied up in the ropes. Ami splashes her while she's between the ropes. Ami is tripped outside in front of the ref by Momo Watanabe. The ref doesn't do anything about it. Ami is then sent into the seats. 

Ru goes up and top and takes shots from Ami. Ami superplexes her. Ami running lariats her then does a blue thunder for 2. Ami lariats her. Ru throws a box at her head in front of the ref. Ru hits a top rope splash for 2.

Ru germans her then straightjacket germans her to win.

Thoughts: I didn't like it. They did some heavyweight wrestling here which I liked but it went long and Ruaka cheated multiple times in front of the ref, who didn't care. It would have been better if they stuck to the wrestling instead of the weak heel work. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block D Match - Natsuko Tora vs. Sayaka Kurara

Tora shoulders her over three times to start. Tora slaps her in the corner and hits mounted corner punches. Tora chops her in the corner. Saya corner dropkicks her then Tora shoulders her over. Tora slams Saya on the floor. Saya then top rope plancha's her outside.

Tora misses a lariat inside and is dropkicked. Saya surprises her with a stiff forearm and drops her. Saya dropkicks her off the buckles for 2. Tora misses a butt drop on her and is crucifixed for 2. Tora crossbodies her then sentons her for 2.

Tora splashes her off the buckles for 2. Saya gets on Tora's back with a sleeper. Tora tries to drop her backwards but Saya keeps the hold on. Saya rope breaks. Tora hits a hard spear on her. Tora corner cannonballs her for 2. Tora misses a top rope senton. Saya flying knees her then hits a big spear for 1.

Saya trips her and rolls her up for 2. Saya runs at her and gets lariated. Tora death valley drivers her for 2. Tora top rope swantons her for the win.

Thoughts: I thought it was a good match and I liked this one. Tora used her size against Saya and Saya was the undersized fiery underdog here. Saya had some nice spears and really popped Tora with a surprise forearm at one point. I was surprised at how good this was. Tora's having a pretty good tournament so far quality wise. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block B Match - Suzu Suzuki vs. HANAKO

Hana running lariats her in the corner then does a regular lariat before the bell rings. Hana tries quick pins. Suzu is sent into the seats. Suzu throws Hana into the seats and throws a water bottle at her. Momo choeks her on the bottom rope. 

Momo snapmares her and kicks her in the back. Momo running back elbows her in the corner then running knees her in the corner. Momo forearms her down. Hana samoan drops her and knee drops her for 2.

Hana and Suzu attack each other on the ropes. Hana blocks a spear and Hana suplexes her.  They trade chest forearms for a while and throw some good ones. They slap each other each other and Hana goes down. Suzu headbutts her and both go down. Hana facekicks her then Suzu germans her. Suzu hits headkicks then Suzu tequila shots her for 2. 

Suzu is on top and Hana powerbombs her down for 2. Hana is pulled over the top and sent into the seats. Suzu tries to use a chair. The ref grabs it and Suzu shoves him with the chair into the apron, knocking him down. Hana puts her on her shoulder and walks her up into the seats.

Suzu throws her down the steps into the lobby. Hana clubs on her there. They trade shots in the aisle and Suzu high kicks her. Suzu runs to the ring while the ref counts to 20. She seems to make it but they declare it a draw.

Thoughts: There was questionable reffing as usual here with Suzu dropping a ref by using a chair as a battering ram and getting away with it. Suzu also definitely did make it in time but got counted out away. I really liked the match aside from that though. It was good. They were aggressive, they stiffed each other and it was a very heated heavyweight battle. It surpassed all of my expectations and is worth a look.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block B Match - Konami vs. Hina

They do so mat wrestling. Kon side headlock takeovers her. Hina headscissors her and they stand off. Kon pulls her down by the hair. Hina hits a forearm flurry in the corner. Kon eye rakes her and running back elbows her. Kon foot chokes her. 

Kon foot chokes her, snapmares her and kicks her in the back. Kon elbows Hina's arm then tries to armbar her. Hina hits chest forearms. Kon blocks a hip throw then Hina hits a hip throw. Hina running neckbreakers her for 2.

Hina crabs her. Hina does an STF. Hina STO's her. Kon throws her off the buckles then running PK's her. Kon diving headkicks her off the top for 2. Hina gets a 2 count on her. Kon high kicks her. Hina half-nelson, wrist-clutch suplexes her. Kon germans her for 2.Kon rolling armbars her but Hina escapes and gets a 2 count on her. Hina then tries another pin and wins.

Thoughts: I liked it. Hina kept going for pins and eventually pulled the upset off here. They also kept it short which helped.

Kon stomps on Hina after and foot chokes her.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block A Match - Saori Anou vs. Bozilla

They lock up and Boz throws her down. Anou kicks her in the gut and they test strength. Boz throws her down. Anou bridges out of it and axe kicks her back. Boz shoulders her over then hair throws her. Boz corner splashes her then hits shots in the corner. Boz then bites her in the corner. 

Boz lariats her over the top. They go into the stands and Boz bangs Anou's head off the wall. Anou bangs Boz's head off the sign in the stands. Anou is sent into the seats. 

They go back in and Anou dropkicks her in the knee. Anou dragon screws her and Boz does a terrible bump for it. Anou then figure fours her. Anou running kicks Boz's leg on the ropes. Boz chest forearms her down. Anou hits a bunch of chest forearms then hits her in the knee. Anou's hurricanrana is blocked and Boz sits on her with a high crab. Boz slams her then sentons her for 2. Anou gets on her back with a sleeper.

Boz full nelson backbreakers her for 2. Anou sunset flips her then backslides her. Boz lariats her. Anou no sells it and dropkicks her in the knee. Boz no sells an Anou german then release germans her. Boz electric chair drops her on her face for 2. Boz misses a vader bomb and is kicked. Anou ties up one of her legs while doing an armbar.

Boz shoulders her over and sitout powerbombs her. The time limit runs out during the pin attempt.

Thoughts: I wasn't a fan of this one. I don't think they did that good of a job with the big vs small concept and Anou didn't really work the knee enough for me here.

Boz gets mad at the ref and hits him. She then hits Anou and pushes the camera man away. Boz then throws chairs. Anou gets on the mic and yells at Boz. Boz then throws a chair in and gives her the finger.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block D Match - AZM vs. Rina

Ri dropkicks AZM as she enters. Ri then facekicks her onto the apron. AZM gets back in and Ri hair throws her. Ri slams her for 2 then stomps on her. AZM hits chest forearms and Ri facekicks her. AZM trips her then high kicks her while she lays on the apron. AZM PK's her from the apron.

They trade forearms. AZM forearms her down. AZM high kicks her then Ri hip throws her. AZM suplexes her then Rina suplexes her back. Rina STO's her. Rina goes up top and is hit with forearms. Rina is armdragged off the top. 

Rina northern lights suplexes her then does an octopus. AZM then ropebreaks. Rina 2nd rope double knee drops her then top rope double knee drops her for 2. 

AZM hits a code red for 2 then armbars her. AZM hits a head kick then top rope double stomps her for 2. Rina grounded octopuses her and AZM turns it into a pin attempt. AZM does another pin attempt for 2. Rina gets a 2 count on her.

AZM high kicks her then germans her for 2. Rina does an abdominal stretcher driver for 2. AZM running facekicks her for 2. AZM canadian destroyers her then pins her to win.

Thoughts: It was fast paced as expected and full of pin attempts. The work wasn't great or anything but it was never boring as it was filled with action from start to finish. 

AZM then talks on the mic after. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block C Match - Hanan vs. Saya Kamitani 

They do some amateur wrestling. Han waistlocks her and Saya side headlocks her. Saya side headlock takeovers her and spin kicks her in the gut. Han flying headscissors her. Han goes up top and is thrown down to the apron hard. Saya crossbodies her off the apron.

Saya chokes her with a chain outside then hangs her with it. Saya 2nd rope dropkicks her then stomps her. Saya foot chokes her. Saya stomps her while she's down. Han hits chest forearms and Saya drops her with a forearm. 

Han 2nd rope twisting crossbodies her. Saya boots her in the gut and Han running euros her. Saya hits shots then Han pop-up euros her. Han leg lariats her. Saya spinning high kicks her. Han back body drops her over the top rope. Han then 2nd rope plancha's her outside.

Han fameassers her then cuty specials her for 2. Saya spinning heel kicks her. Saya boots her from the 2nd buckle. They both go on the 2nd rope. Saya hurricanrana's her down. Saya northern lights suplexes her for 2.

Han blocks a kamigoye then Saya corkscrew kicks her. Han trips her and rolls her up for 2. Han twisting ddt's her for 2. Saya pump kicks her then rolls her into a backdrop for 1. Han backdrops her. Han hits another backdrop for 2. Saya rolls her into a double stomp. Saya pump kicks her then corkscrew kicks her back for 2. Saya ki krushers her for the win.

Thoughts: It was a good main. Saya won as expected and Han got some offense in before being put down. Both girls did what they were supposed to without overdoing it. I didn't like Saya being allowed to choke Han with a chain though right in front of the ref without any punishment though.

They talk to each other on the mic after. 

Overall thoughts: The opener was alright. I liked the Bea/Mei match. Yuna/Azusa was short and full of action. Ruaka/Ami should have worked but it went too long and had issues with blatant cheating. Tora/Sayaka was good and Suzu/Hanako is worth a look on its own. Konami/Hina was fine. Anou/Bozilla shockingly didnt work out. The main was good. I'd give this one an 8 out of 10. Hanako/Suzu was a show stealer, the main delivered and we had a lot of good action here. This was a good show.

"Super" Sean Legacy vs Ice Williams

Ice has already been fired from WWE ID so this may be his last Evolve match. 

They lock up. Ice side headlocks him then Sean reverses it. They fight over a wristlock on the mat. Sean hammerlocks him. Ice tries to snapmare him but Sean rolls with it and keeps the hold on. Ice chops up Sean in the corner.

Ice blocks a sunset flip and Sean bow and arrows him. Sean hits chops. Sean goes up and over then Ice dropkicks him. Sean suplexes him, hits kicks and standing moonsaults him for 2. Sean slingshot plancha's him outside.

We go to break and return. Sean is sent into the post. Ice elbows him in the neck off the apron. They trade punches in the ring. Sean hits kicks and germans him. Sean springboard dropkicks him for 2. Ice hits a twisting suplex for 2. Sean blocks a superkick and STF's him. Sean moonsaults and hits a lifting reverse ddt for 2.

Sean misses a springboard 450 then Ice 2nd rope elbow drops him on the neck. Ice superkicks him for 2. Sean 2nd rope spanish flies him. Sean 450's him for 2. 

Sean goes to springboard and is knocked onto the top rope. Ice superkicks him as he hangs. Sean dropkicks him then step up enzugiri's him. Sean hits shambles and wins.

Thoughts: It was an indy style match. I was alright with it for most of it but it went on too long. Ice was heelish going into this and didn't really follow up on it all that match.  

Chuey Martinez interviews Sean Legacy. He says the Evolve Title is the goal but he wants to collect wins and get his mind and body right. He says he'll be standing across whoever is the #1 contender tonight.

Edris Enofe comes out. He says Sean is showing growth and that's a sign of maturity. He says he agrees with him - he's not ready to carry the Evolve Title. Sean says when Enofe isn't made the #1 contender, make an excuse for why he couldn't get the job done again. Enofe pushes him and security comes out to stop it.

Kylie Rae talks backstage. She says her and Chantel Monroe could not be any different. She says CM is selfish. She says CM took a shortcut with her but she won't do it back. She says CM has talent but won't become a champ before her. She says he has a match with Masyn Holiday first though and tells her to wish her luck. 

The Vanity Project talk in the back. Drake says he's been champ for 100 days and still has to find out who his next challenger is along with everyone else. He says he's not being respected. They wonder who might be the next contender and make jokes about Enofe and Chen. 

Kali Armstrong comes in. She says Drake looks stressed. She says they won the titles at the same time and wonders who will lose theirs first. She says she won't lose hers but Drake's title depends on who Stevie chooses for tonight.

Kylie Rae vs Masyn Holiday

Mas dances with Layla Diggs on her way to the ring.

The girls shake hands. Rae wristlocks her. Mas flips out using the ropes and wristlocks her. Rae headflips up. Mas fireman's carry takeovers her. Rae armlocks her then shoulders her over. Mas does a nice leapfrog. Rae rolls into a pin attempt.

Rae armdrags Mas. Mas shoulders her over then stands on her gut. Mas crossbodies her for 2. Rae dives off the top with an armdrag. Rae corner euros her then corner cannonballs her for 2. Rae is swept off the 2nd rope for 2.

Mas slams her then does a splash for 2. Rae hits some shots then lariats her. Rae diving armdrags her and superkicks her in the face. Mas walks up the buckles and moonsaults her for 2. Mas rolls her up for 2. Mas sunset flips her for 2 then Rae gets a 2 count on her. Mas backslides her for 2. Rae crossfaces her and wins by submission.

Thoughts: It was a decent showing for Masyn. She's still a bit green but she had an acceptable full length match here and is picking things up. I think she's going to be okay. The match was acceptable but not great. Rae's a vet but she's really not as good as she should be for how long she's been doing this.

Jax Presley and Harley Riggins are interviewed by Chuey. They don't care about Adrenaline Drip and say the flying might work on the indies but not here. Har says they will have some claim to fame though as they will be their first victims.

Tate Wilder and Drako Knox talk in the back. Tate says Ridge Holland keeps ducking him. He says he wants him in the ring so he can prove he has what it takes to be a star in the WWE. He says he's trying to break down the door and Ridge is the door. Knox hypes him up. 

Adrenaline Drip (Jack Cartwheel and Cappuccino Jones) vs Harley Riggins and Jax Presley

 

I'm really stoked for this one. This is Harley Riggins' and Jax Presley's TV debut. We've seen Har doing security and stuff for like 2 years now and I've been wondering what he can do.

Har waistlock takedowns Jack and stomps him. Jack crucifixes him. Jack armdrags him and Har backs off. Jax comes in and goes into the buckles when Jack moves. Jax is tripped into the bottom rope for a flagpole kick. Cap lariats Jax. Jack does a body springboard 450 on Jax for 2.

Cap side headlocks Jax then is backbreakered. Har rams Cap into the post outside. Jax lariats Cap for 2. Jax side headlocks him. Cap takes a backcracker. Jamar Hampton and It's Gal are watching in the back and aren't impressed. Har stomps on Cap then sentons him. Har trapezus holds Cap and pulls his arms back. 

Cap does a backslide. Har pops up Cap and Cap dropkicks him. Jack springboard forearms Jax and lariats him. Jack dropkicks Har. Jack slingblades Jax. Jack walks up the buckles, kicks Har and corkscrew diving armdrags Jax. Jax takes a neckbreaker for 2. 

Jack hits corner spears on Jax. Jax counters a double team and takes a big shot from Cap. Har is lariated over the top. Cap's suicide dive is caught by both opponents. Jack goes to dive and Cap is thrown into him. Jack is popped up into a nasty spear from Har. Har gets the pin.

Thoughts: Jax sadly got little to nothing in here. This was the TV debut for both Jax and Har and they did a good job. There were no botches and they were able to have an entertaining match and if you are doing that in your debut, you are off to a good start. Both Harley and Jax move pretty well and their pop-up spear finisher was nice. Jack had some neat cartwheel kicks here that I hadn't seen him do before. I enjoyed this and can't wait to see more of Jax and Harley.

We get a video on various WWE ID facilities and they show some name graphics for a few people there.

Stevie Turner is in the ring. She says Drake and Kali showed why they are worthy of being the first ever Evolve title holders. She says Drake is looking for a #1 contender. She says it's hard to pick one but it's a good problem to have. The Vanity Project come out. 

Smokes says it's wrong that Drake has to wait to find out his opponent. Baylor says they are treated like they are bench players when they are the top guys. Keanu Carver comes out. He tells Stevie that she knows what he can do and he says everyone is scared of him. Brooks Jensen comes out. 

Brooks says the WWE universe doesn't like The Vanity Project. He says their opinions don't matter but Stevie's does. He says Keanu won't get the job done and be the new Evolve champ. He says he will be the one then Ridge Holland interrupts. 

Ridge says he should challenge. Tate Wilder then comes out and hits Ridge. They fight in the aisle. Drake says everyone wants a piece of him and that's how it is when you are him. He says he will beat anyone who is put in the ring with him. Bryce Donovan says that is Drake and says Drake can beat Brooks or Keanu. Drake tries to tell Bryce to ease up. Stevie says it's a great idea and says he will face Keanu and Brooks in a triple threat title match next week.

The Vanity Project then beat up Brooks and Keanu. Brooks takes a double suplex on the floor. Brad beats up on Brooks. A table is set up and Brooks fights off the heels. Keanu also starts to make a comeback. Keanu gorilla presses Drake onto everyone outside. Jensen chokeslams Drake through a table.

Thoughts: They pushed the angle with Bryce having issues with his crew here and he said Drake could beat Keanu and Brooks and Stevie made the match off of it. It's kind of funny that Ridge didn't get picked solely for getting jumped. 

Overall thoughts: Sean/Ice was an indy style match that went a little too long. Rae/Masyn was acceptable and Masyn did alright for her experience level. Harley Riggins and Jax Presley had a decent debut with them having an entertaining match to start their TV careers off. The main event segment was okay and set up things for next week. It was a decent show overall and I'd give it a 6 out of 10.

Gabe Kidd comes out to talk for some reason. He says we are on his team. He asks where Darby Allin is. Darby comes out and gets his back with a sleeper. Gabe hits him in the corner. Darby pounds on Gabe in the corner and traps his arm in the ring post. 

Gabe is pushed into the rails then lariats Darby. Darby then coffin drops him off the post. Gabe catches him with a choke in the corner. Darby eye rakes him. Wheeler Yuta comes down and is hit. Darby 2nd rope coffin drops Gabe. Darby pulls out a skateboard with tacks. Yuta comes in and is hit with the skateboard. Darby skateboard double stomps Yuta's back. 

Mox, Claudio and Shafir come down. The lights go out and Hook's signal appears. Hook comes out. Samoa Joe and Hobbs then follow. We then get a big fight. Willow then comes out to fight. 

Gabe and Darby are fighting in the back. Gabe chokes him and tries to hit him with a hammer. Darby throws powder in Gabe's eyes and puts some kind of rag in Gabe's face. Darby puts Gabe in a bodybag chained to a truck and drags him away.

AEW TBS Title - Mercedes Mone (c) vs Alex Windsor

Mone bangs Alex's head off the buckles and foot chokes her. Alex back body drops her and chops her in the corner. Alex armdrags her twice then basement dropkicks her for 2. Mone crossfaces her. Alex cannonballs her off the apron outside. Alex hits a 2nd rope diving lariat inside for 2. 

Alex is sent out of the ring. Alex bangs Mone's knee off the apron. Mone apron edge powerbombs her. We go to PiP break and return.  

Alex corner lariats her then flying lariats her. Alex russian leg sweeps her for 2. Alex blue thunders her then sharpshooters her. Mone crossfaces her. Mone crucifix bombs her for 2. Mone backcrackers her. Alex pop-up sitout powerbombs her. Alex sharpshooters her again. They end up rolling out to the floor and Alex leglocks her there.

Alex comes off the 2nd rope and Mone crossfaces her. Mone backcrackers her. Alex lariats her. They trade forearms in the ring. Alex headbutts her in the chest then hits a made in japan for 2. Alex headbutts her on the buckles. Mone iconoclasms her down then crossfaces her. Mone then rolls her up after Alex escapes and pins her.

Thoughts: Mone mostly stuck to the crossface here. Alex kind of worked the back and the leg some for the sharpshooter but that may be a reach. It was acceptable but nothing too special. Mone won as expected. I'm not sure where this leaves Alex now. 

They fight after and Mone crossfaces her. Riho then makes her return after being gone for a long time and hits a top rope double stomp to break the crossface. She then dropkicks Mone out.

Thoughts: Riho is back. She'll lose the TBS Title match, maybe do another match or two and be gone like usual. It's a waste of everyone's time but she's friends with Kenny and they'll always find a place for her because of it.

Renee interviews Samoa Joe and Hobbs outside. She asks where Hook stands with The Opps. Joe says to ask Hook. Hook comes in. Joe says, "Sup?". Hook says he doesn't need them to fight his battles as he will fight his own battles. He says they replaced him before his body got cold. Joe says they didn't wait as opportunity came calling. Joe says they take the opportunities. He says Hook wasn't ready but Hobbs was. Joe says they didn't come to save him and had their own business to handle. Joe said he's the one who did it and at some point, Hook will need their help. Joe says they will still have his back whether he wants it or not.

The Gates of Agony and Ricochet talk. Ric says his problems with The Hurt Syndicate pre-date AEW. He says they never got on the same page as it's personal for them. Toa says they ended The Hurt's title reign at Forbidden Door and say their legacy is next. Ric says they are dominant and not washed up like The Hurt's. Ric says they should settle it in Toronto and says the entire world will know they stand above them. Ric says it's not a challenge but a command and does a hand signal.

We see Taz's Hardcore Hall of Fame banner for the 2300 Arena Hall of Fame that he got earlier.

Mark Briscoe comes out. He says this is a sacred place and the place where he and his brother fell in love with wrestling. He says his focus is on Kyle Fletcher's TNT Title. He says that involves having a convo with Callis. Mark says he's tired of waiting for this TNT Title shot and asks Don to pick his man.

Don Callis, Lance Archer and Rocky Romero come out. Don says he knows Mark is impatient to get his answer but he's busy getting Kyle and Josh ready for tonight. Don says Mark's opponent will be Takeshita on Collision. Konosuke Takeshita then comes out. KT and Mark stare down. Don tells Mark to save it for Saturday. 

Mark gets on the mic. He says Don likes messing with his head. Mark says he's ready to go now and says to get another one of his goons now. 

Mark Briscoe vs Lance Archer

Lance volunteers. Mark hits shots on him. Mark back enzugiri's him. Mark dropkicks him through the ropes. Mark tries to tope him but is uranage'd on the apron. Lance chokeslams Mark on the side of the steps.

We go to PiP break and return. Mark back elbows him out of the corner then hits chops. They shoulderblock battle. Mark lariats him over the top. Mark tope con hilos him through the ropes. Lance buckle bombs him then chokeslams him. Mark hits shots on Lance's chest then 2nd rope dropkicks him. 

Mark hits shots then flips out of a back body drop. Mark hits shots to the throat. Mark bites Lance on the buckles. Mark sunset bombs him off the buckles for 2. Mark hits a froggy bow off the top and wins.

Thoughts: Lance lost like usual here and Mark won as expected. This was fine. 

Toni Storm does a promo talking about the arena. She says she's a character in search of a plot and says no belt collector can take her title. She says to give her the best, the worst and everything in between. 

Harley Cameron and Kris Statlander are interviewed. Harley says she was busted open by Megan Bayne and says the mask doesn't protect her. Kris pulls off the mask. Harley says their team is undefeated and is headed to the top. Harley asks for Brodido. 

Wheeler Yuta comes in. Yuta says The Death Riders have Kris' back.  Shafir walks in and Kris says she got the message.

AEW Tag Title - Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) (c) vs The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta)

Yuta wristlock takedowns Band then leglocks him.Band goes up and over and points at him. Band headscissors him and dropkicks him. CC and King trade forearms and chops.

CC is caught on a springboard. King spinning forearms him. King throws Band onto CC then does a senton. Band does the macarena. Band suplexes CC. CC catches Band's crossbody and tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him. 

We go to PiP break and return. Yuta olympic slams Band for 2. CC blocks a dragonrana then takes a code red. King gets in and hits shots on the heels. King splashes both opponents in the corner then does a cannonball on them.

Band springboard hurricanrana's King into CC for 2. Band misses a frogsplash. Band superplexes Yuta. Mox comes out and sends king into the post. CC rocket launches Yuta onto Band for 2.  

CC giant swings Band and Yuta basement dropkicks Band to break it up. Mox boots King outside then Darby Allin comes out and jumps on Mox. Band hits a 21plex on Yuta and wins.

Thoughts: It was fine. Nothing too special or anything and the faces won as expected here. 

Kazuchika Okada is interviewed in the parking lot. He says Takeshita calls himself The Alpha but he's The Rainmaker and he says everyone knows he's the top dog in The Don Callis Family.

The Hurt Syndicate is interviewed. MVP asks what happened to Ricochet. He says he's a pathetic little kiss-@ss and a whining hater. He tells GoA not to let their careers turn into a punchline. MVP says they don't ask or demand respect, they command it. He says he accepts the challenge and looks forward to joining his brothers in combat. He says they hurt people and will hurt Ricochet.

Adam Copeland comes out and FTR jump him. Christian Cage comes to help out. They all fight outside. Seucirty and various wrestlers come to break it up. Dax gets busted open during this. They spike piledriver a jobber. Adam Priest ends up going after Dax. 

We get a package on Jon Moxley vs Daniel Garcia for Collision.

FTR and Stokeley Hathaway do a promo. Stoke says the next time Cope and Cage get their hands on him, there will be a reckoning. Adam Priest comes in and they ask who he thinks he is. Cash says he's nobody and thinks he's somebody. He tells him to get his gear, find a tag team partner and they will make him somebody.

Adam Page, JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey) & Kenny Omega vs. The Don Callis Family (Josh Alexander & Kyle Fletcher) & The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson)

Page and Josh go at it. Page shoulders him over. Kyle kicks Page from the apron. Page facekicks Josh over. All 8 men fight and the heels are sent out. The faces then do slingshot plancha's outside. Josh is chopped by Omega and Page. 

We go to PiP break and return. Mike spin kicks Josh in the gut then axe kicks him. Mike chest kicks him down then running ssp's him for 2. Josh spinning forearms Mike then release germans him. Nick hits shots on Mike in the corner and enzugiri's him. Mike 2nd rope dropkicks him. Kevin gets in and hits lariats on Nick. Kevin slams him, goes for a splash and Nick gets his knees up. Matt runs into a facekick and does northern lights suplexes. Kevin tornado ddt's him. 

Page gets in and hits shots on Nick. Page springboard lariats Josh. Page is hurricanrana'd into a kick in the corner. Kyle takes corner attacks and is thrown into a german. Kyle topes Page. Page pop-up, sitout powerbombs Kyle. 

Mike hits a kick combo on Josh. Mike PK's him then standing moonsault double knees him. Josh germans him. Mike misses a standing moonsault double knee on the apron. Josh crossbodies his back. Josh and Mike are on the rails and Kevin top rope diving lariats Josh. Mike and Kevin take Meltzer drivers.

We go to PiP break and return. Nick headscissors Mike over the top rope and Mike is superkicked. Mike is laying on the top rope and is double stomped into a sitout powerbomb for 2. Mike enzugiri's Kyle. A Buck top rope swantons and Mike gets his knees up.

Mike poisonrana's Josh. Kyle and Omega trade forearms. Kyle facekicks him then Omega pumping knees him. Omega suplexes him then Josh then Kyle again. Page, Omega and The Bucks stand off in the ring then fight.  Page sliding lariats a Buck and is corkscrew kicked. He hits a spinning lariat. A Buck buckshot lariats the other Buck and then is lariated. Kenny pumping knees a Buck on the ropes. Kenny and Page take superkicks then do stereo lariats.

Page and Kyle trade. Kyle suplexes him. Kyle spinning tombstones Page for 2. Kyle corner facekicks Page. Kevin springboard sunset flips Kyle for 2 then dropkicks him. Mike triangle moonsaults a Buck outside. Mike superkicks the other Buck then is superkicked. Kevin jumping ddt's Kyle. 

Kevin tries a 180 frogsplash and Kyle gets his knees up. Kyle takes a 2nd rope poisonrana. The Bucks hit superkicks. Kevin takes a forearm and a Buck does a corkscrew dive outside. Kevin takes a spike tombstone then Kyle brainbusters Kevin for the win.

Thoughts: It was the usual all-star tag with a lot of quick action, lots of people coming in and out and a lot of moves. They didn't overdo it too much at least and it was fine but nothing too memorable.  

The heels beat up the faces after. Rocky Romero and Lance Archer come out to join in. Page takes a brainbuster on an open chair. Kenny takes a chair shot to the gut. Kenny takes a suplex off the apron through a table from Kyle. The heels mock Kenny after. Kenny is put in a neckbrace.

Overall thoughts: We had a big brawl to start the show. Mone/Alex was alright as was Lance/Briscoe. I had no issues with the tag title match. FTR jumped Cope and by the end of it, challenges Adam Priest to a tag match in an unusual turn of events. The main was your usual all-star where a bunch of people are thrown in and you get an okay match out of it. It wasn't the most exciting Dynamite ever and I don't think a ton of effort was put into it, but it mostly made sense and had a ton of wrestling. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 total and it was fine overall, just nothing super interesting.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block C Match - Saya Kamitani vs. Waka Tsukiyama

Waka offers a handshake and Saya says something to her on the mic. Waka then gets on the mic and replies. Saya pump kicks her and Waka cradles her for 2. Waka gets another pin attempt in and cradles her. Saya ki krushers her out of it and pins her.

Thoughts: It was a short one with Waka going for the quick upset and she often does and getting put down. 

Saya then gets on the mic, says something to Waka and boots her out of the ring.  

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block D Match - Natsuko Tora vs. Rian

Ri hits running dropkicks then does chest forearms. Tora bodyblocks her and misses a sneton. Ri rolls out and hides. Ri then hits forearms on her outside. Ri is sent into the post. Tora tries to splash her against the post but Ri moves. Ri gets on her back with a sleeper. Tora drives her backwards into the post.

Ri is sent into the seats. They get back in and Ri cutters her for 2. Tora crossbodies her then sentons her for 2. Tora cradle shocks her, Ri no sells it and reverses the pin attempt. Ri flips over Tora's back and backslides her for 2.

Ri gets her back with a sleeper. Tora corner splashes Ri then corner cannonballs her. Tora 2nd rope splashes her and gets the pin.

Thoughts: I liked it and thought they got the story right here. Ri was the crafty underdog and Tora used her size to overpower her and win.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block C Match - Lady C vs. Azusa Inaba

C trips her and AI grabs a guillotine. They trade front facelocks and AI side headlocks her. AI uses the hair to keep it on. C shoulders her over. AI rolls her up for 2 and boots her against the bottom rope. C giant swings her. 

C's head is banged off the apron then she is sent into the seats multiple times. AI stomps her in the ring, snapmares her and kicks her in the back. AI rolls her into a leglock. C running facekicks her then wheelbarrow drops her face first for 2. 

AI pump kicks her on the ropes then C facekicks her. AI pump kicks her then spinning neckbreakers her for 2. C corner facekicks her then fliyng neckbreakers her for 2. AI spin kicks her in the gut then superkicks her in the face. AI bodyscissors takedowns her for 2.

C drops her down face first for 2. C uranages AI then running facekicks her for the win.

Thoughts: As it often does, the visit outside during the match destroyed the flow this head going for it. The second half was better than the first half but it wasn't enough here. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block D Match - Starlight Kid vs. Sayaka Kurara

They lock up and back each other up on the ropes. Saya chest forearms her and Kid side headlocks her. Saya running dropkicks her. Kid stomps the leg then bangs her knee off the mat. Kid standing moonsaults the knee then elbow drops it. 

Kid boots her in the face. Saya's head is banged off the buckles and Kid slaps her. Kid dropkicks her in the knee then Saya dropkicks her.  

Saya corner dropkicks her for 2. Kid 2nd rope twisting crossbodies her. Kid kicks her in the leg while she's down and shoves her head. Saya hits chest forearms. Kid dropkicks her in the knee. Kid hits chest forearms. Saya flying forearms her.

Kid cross-legged fisherman's suplexes her then Saya spinning fisherman's neckbreakers her. Saya dropkicks her off the buckles for 2. Saya misses a flying move then Kid meteora's her in the back of the head. Kid stretch mufflers her.

Kid missses a top rope 180 splash. Saya low flying knees her. Kid rolls her up for 2 and goes for the stretch muffler again. Saya spears her then does another spear for 2. Saya does a pin attempt for 2. 

Say runs at her and takes a slam. Kid top rope moonsaults her and wins.

Thoughts: It went a bit long here. Saya was the underdog in this and Kid mostly worked her knee. It's a shame the finish had nothing to do with all the knee work she did though. I thought it could have been a bit better.

Kid holds her title up to Saya after and they grab each other by the head.  

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block C Match - Yuna Mizumori vs. Mei Seira

Yuna misses a lariat and is booted. They evade each other's moves and Mei is dropkicked off the apron. Mei dropkicks Yuna out of the ring then double axe handles her off the apron. Mei goes up and over on the apron and chest forearms her. Yuna is sent into the post then Yuna rams Mei into it. Yuna lariats her against the post.

Yuna top rope diving shoulderblocks her then legdrops her for 2. Mei springboard dropkicks her for 2. Mei ties up her legs and crossfaces her. Yuna catapults her into the buckles and tries pins off of it. They roll around the ring with pin attempts for 2. Mei lariats her on the ropes then Yuna lariats her on the ropes. Mei hits dropkicks. Mei hits chest forearms. Yuna chops her then springboard dropkicks her. 

Mei superkicks her then germans her. Yuna hits a big lariat. Mei hits boots to the face then Yuna hits a big slap. Yuna blocks a la magistral then sliding lariats Mei. Mei crucifixes her for 2.

They try pin attempts. Yuna lariats her. Mei flying dropkicks her. Yuna hurricanrana's her then pins her.

Thoughts: It was a fast paced affair as expected with both trying tons of pins before Yuna won out. We've seen this before and it was no different than those matches. I liked it. 

They go face to face and Yuna talk on the mic after. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block D Match - AZM vs. Natsupoi

Poi germans her off the handshake. Poi cartwheels off the ropes and superkicks her. Poi misses a top rope cartwheel splash then AZM suplexhes her. AZM hits another suplex. Poi goes for a la magistral and AZM tries a pin off of it. Poi rolls her up for 2. They run the ropes together and roll together.

Poi spin kicks her in the gut and takes a high kick. Poi superkicks her. AZM germans her for 2. They roll around and AZM tries 2 pins and gets the win.

Thoughts: It was very similar to the last match and I'm surprised they ran them after each other. What we got was entertaining and very fast paced but it was disappointing as these two can go and this should have gotten 15-20 so it could fully play out.

TI pump kicks Ri to start and hits forearms. They trade facekicks. Ri drops her with a flying facekick. TI is thrown out. TI is sent into the seats then Ri throws chairs at her. They kick each other outside then TI's head is banged off the commentary table.

TI stomps her as she gets in and hair throws her. TI hits chest forearms and Ri facekicks her. TI facekicks her down. TI pump kicks her then kicks her in the back. TI ankle locks her and bangs her knee off the mat. TI stomps the knee.

TI bangs Ri's knee off the mat with an anklelock. TI dragon screws her while she's on the buckles. TI hits leg kicks then is hip thrown. Ri northern lights suplexes her.  TI pump kicks her and Ri facekicks her. Ri STO's her. Ri 2nd rope dropkicks her for 2. Ri 2nd rope double knee drops her. Ri does another double knee drop off the buckles for 2. TI ankle locks her and leglocks her. 

TI legkicks her then buzzsaw kicks her hard for 2. Ri forearms TI then TI michinoku drivers her for 2. Rina whips her with a whip while the ref isn't looking and gets a 2 count on her. Ri does an abdominal stretch driver and is high kicked. Rin gori special drops her and wins.

Thoughts: It was mostly all kicks here. TI worked the ankle and leg a bit here but she lost so we didn't full get to see how that would play out. It was alright enough but the finish did feel rushed.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block C Match - Bea Priestley vs. Hanan 

They lock up. Han wristlocks her. Han side headlocks her and they trade front facelocks. BP wristlocks her. Han is tripped while she has a wasitlock on and BP running facekicks her. BP double stomps her off the apron. Han suplexes her on the floor. Han the ncrossbodies her off the apron. 

Han's head is banged off the post. Han's back is rammed into the apron. BP backbreakers her for 2. BP forearms her in the back twice. Han flying headscissors her. BP half-crabs her. 

Han leg lariats her on the ropes. Han 2nd rope twisting crossbodies her then running euros her for 2. BP forearms her down. Han fallaway slams her. BP is lariated over the top. Han crossbodies her outside off the buckles. Han fameassers her and cuty specials her for 2. 

BP hits a northern lights bomb for 2. BP then straightjacket bow and arrows Han. BP pumping knees her then northern lights suplexes her for 2. BP germans her twice for 2. Han gets a 2 count on her then backdrops her. Han twisting ddt's her for 2. 

BP back elbows her then Han backdrops her twice for the win.

Thoughts: I couldn't really get into this. Much like in the afternoon show, BP needed to be a heel here to get Hanan over and that didn't happen. Hanan got as much offense in as she did and with Han being a limited worker anyway, it never got that good. I liked Han's backdrop at the end though.

Han talk on the mic after then BP does too. BP says she remembers her and her sisters. She says she's growing so fast and it makes her happy. She says she's proud of her and her sisters. She says they will make Stardom's future bright. Han then thanks her and talks on the mic after.

Overall thoughts: I like Tora/Rian, Yuna/Mei, AZM/Poi and Rina/Inaba to some extent. I didn't care for the main and Kid/Sayaka could have been better. While I did like AZM/Poi it should have been a main event style match yet was over quick. I'd give this show a 6 out of 10 overall and did slightly like it.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block A Match - Aya Sakura vs. Yuria Hime

Hime misses a high kick and takes a leg kick. Aya dropkicks her. Hime hits chest forearms. Aya yanks on her arm and wristlocksher. Aya stomps on her. Aya kicks her in the shoulder then Hime hits chest forearms. Aya high kicks her in the face and Hime facekicks her. Aya leg kicks her and drops her to a knee.

Hime facekicks her then Aya chest kicks her down. Hime facekicks her then legdrops her. Hime then headscissors her. Hime running facekicks her on the ropes. Hime leg lariats her and headscissors her. Hime then does the devil's kicks on her.

Hime boots her then Aya rolling triangles her. Hime rope breaks. Aya misses a high kick and Hime rolls her up for 2. Hime facekicks her then Aya superkicks her. Aya high kicks her and spinning high kicks her. Aya then kicks her in the head and wins.

Thoughts: It was a surprisingly decent match here. Aya did a bunch of kicks on Hime and stiffed her quite a few times and Hime stuck with the facekicks. I liked it and was surprised at some of the shots Aya dished out here. 

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block B Match - Momo Kohgo vs. HANAKO

Momo running dropkicks Hana to start. Hana stomps on her then stands on her back. Hana slams her twice. Hana crabs her. Hana hits corner spears on Momo. Hana corner splashes her and slams her.

Hana chest forearms Momo down. Momo is caught off the 2nd rope and backbreakered. Hana crabs her. Hana misses a corner charge and her throat is pulled down over the top. Momo springbaord dropkicks her.

Hana ducks a 619 then Momo 2nd rope twisting crossbodies her. Hana boots her in the gut then Momo dropkicks her. Hana splashes her on the ropes and Momo flips out of the gutwrench and drops her with it. Momo crucifix bombs her.

Hana blocks a tornado ddt then suplexes her. Hana lariats her. Momo hurricanrana's her for 2. Hana does a spinning head and arm choke drop on Momo. She then does a hanging head an arm choke and wins.

Thoughts: I liked it. They had the general idea down of Hana overpowering Momo and Momo doing her flying to try and get offense in before Hana put her down. This was what it needed to be.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block A Match - Ruaka vs. Saya Iida

Saya runs in and splashes Ru in the corner before intros. She splashes her several times and running back elbows her. Saya elbow drops her. They trade chops for forearms. Saya hits a flurry of chops.

Ru forearms her then they shoulder battle. Saya is pulled over the top. Saya chops her outside then Ru slams her on the floor. Saya is sent into the seats. Ru suplexes her inside for 2. Ru crossfaces her and Saya rope breaks.

Saya legsweeps her and sliding lariats her for 2. Ru does double arm chokeslams her. Saya rolls through the legs then does a nice pin with a bridge to win.

Thoughts: It was short and fun from the start with Saya running in and going after Ru. It did slow down a little as expected but I enjoyed it and thought they had a good hoss type of match here.  

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block B Match - Konami vs. Ranna Yagami

They check each others leg kicks. Kon takes her down. Kon snapmares her and kicks her in the back. Ran tries to do the same but Kon eye rakes her. Kon kicks her in the back. Kon armbars her and Ran ropebreaks.

Ran hits chest forearms. Kon forearms her down. Ran is thrown down backwards then thrown into the corner. Kon foot chokes Ran on the ropes. Ran facekicks her in the corner then dropkicks her.

Kon forearms her down. Kon armbars her and Ran ropebreaks. Kon fisherman suplexes her. Ran high kicks her then leg lariats her. Kon germans her for 2. Kon goes for the triangle lancer and Ran rolls her up.

Ran hits a chest forearm flurry then Kon high kicks her. Kon PK's her for 2. Ran does a surprise pin attempt and wins.

Thoughts: The two work a similar style so it had a lot of potential. I liked what we got but it could have been even better with more time. We got a lot of kicks here as expected and Kon went for arm subissions as expected. 

Kon beats up on her after and it gets broken up.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block A Match - Miyu Amasaki vs. Bozilla

Miyu hits Boz from behind before it starts. Boz is thrown out. Miyu gets caught on a crossbody off the apron then Boz pulls her out. Miyu is sent into the seats and the post. Boz hair throws her in the ring. Boz half-nelson backbreakers her for 2. Miyu hits chest forearms then Boz chest forearms her down. Miyu hits forearms. Boz goes for a powerbomb but is ddt'd. Miyu pendulum ddt's her for 2.

Miyu does a scholar collar. Boz blocks a tornado ddt then corner splashes her. Boz suplexes her then sentons her for 2. Miyu tornado ddt's her then tries a bridge pin for 2. Boz spinebusters her then hits a lariat. Boz powerbombs Miyu then does a styles clash for the win.

Thoughts: It was a short squash as expected. Miyu had no chance here and was dominated by the bigger Boz.

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block B Match - Momo Watanabe vs. Suzu Suzuki

Momo won here with a wrist-clutch half-nelson suplex. It got off to a slower start. Momo took an awful looking piledriver on the apron edge. They did the usual outside fighting with people going into the post and seats. Suzu took a b-driver on the floor. We had weapons involved with both girls using Momo's bat. Suzu also took a 2nd rope uranage here. I thought they did a bit much as the apron piledriver really should have ended it. I didn't like this one much.  

5STAR Grand Prix 2025 Block A Match - Saori Anou vs. Ami Sourei

They lock up and clean break. Ami armdrags her. Anou snapmares her and headscissors her. Anou misses a running facekick. Ami double chops her back then chops her while she's tied up in the ropes. Ami splashes Anou on the ropes for 2. Ami half crabs her and Anou rope breaks. 

Ami chops her. Anou step up enzugiri's her then facekicks her between the ropes. Ami racks her on the apron then lets her go, making her fall to the floor. Ami chops her outside. Ami slams her on the floor.

Ami racks her inside and puts her in reverse tree of woe. Ami corner splashes her then Anou basement dropkicks her. They trade chest forearms. Ami hits chops and Anou chops back. Anou step up enzugiri's her.

They go up top and Ami 2nd rope superplexes her down. Anou fisherman suplexes her but Ami holds on and suplexes her. Anou release fisherman suplexes her. Ami blocks a hurricanrana and does a high crab. Anou release germans her then hits another for 2. Anou hits boots to the face. Ami slaps her then Anou slaps back. Ami lariats her then blue thunders her for 2. Anou backslides her into a bridge for 2. Ami blue thunders her for 2. Ami hits a landslide and pins her.

Thoughts: Anou usually leads her matches and she didn't here. This was an Ami lead match and it showed. It wasn't that good and it was as average as it gets. I was surprised to see Anou do the job here.

Hina slaps away Sare's hand then is dropped with a forearm. Hina tries a pin for 2. Sare dropkicks her against the ropes then dropkicks her through the ropes. Sare fisherman suplexes her for 2. Sare hair throws her twice. Sare stands on her chest on the bottom rope.

Sare slams her. Hina hits mounted chest forearms then Sare does it back to her. Sare does a half-crab and Hina ropebreaks. Sare walks on Hina's back then double stomps it.

Sare dropkicks her and facekicks her. Hina hip throws her. Hina running neckbreakers her for 2. They trade chest forearms. Sare chest forearms her down. Sare goes up top and dropkicks Hina. Sare top rope dropkicks Hina again for 2. Hina STO's her. Hina half-crabs her. Hina then switches to an STF and Sare rope breaks.

Sare superplexes her for 2. Hina wrist-clutch half-nelson suplexes her then Hina jackhammers her for 2. Hina goes for a top rope splash but Sare gets her feet up. Sare double stomps her for 2. Sare headbutts Hina.

Hina trips her into a pin attempt for 2. Sare germans Hina then backdrops her for 2. Sare 2nd rope double stomps her for 2. Sare hits a top rope double stomp and wins.

Thoughts: It wasn't good and oddly, it was all due to Sareee. This crowd hated her and loved Hina. Instead of working with that, she insisted on being the face here. No one wanted any of that and it made her look like a fool. I don't know why Sareee did what she did here but I was left very disappointed in Sareee here and there's no way I can put this over. Hina was naturally the underdog here and got put down.

Sareee tries to get over on the mic after and gets booed. Sare talks to Hina and Hina eventually gets up and talks to her. Hina then closes the show on the mic.

Overall thoughts: The undercard beat out the lower card here. The opener was maybe the best thing on here. I also liked Momo/Hanako and Ruaka/Iida. Konami/Ranna was alright. Bozilla squashed Miyu as expected. I didn't care for Momo/Suzu. Ami lead the match with Anou and the quality suffered because of it. The main was a tone deaf bout with Sareee desperately trying to act like a face against Hina when the crowd wanted to no part of it. I'd give it a slight 6 out of 10 solely due to the undercard being so strong, but the top half of this one really brought this down.
