John Elijah got the win at 1:19 in the 5th round with 2 falls to 1. This wasn't overly special but it wasn't bad. Smith didn't bring much to the table here minus 2 cool takedowns. Elijah had great facials all throughout the match and took a bunch of bumps for Smith. I did enjoy the fight for the bodyslam, but this was an average WoS match.

The announcer said that Mighty John Quinn asked Butts Giraud to finish off Wayne Bridges.

Butts took a warning near the end of the 1st for punching Bridges in the stomach.

Butts Giraud took the first fall in the second round with a body slam and a pin when he caught Bridges in a cross body.

Wayne Bridges then got the 2nd fall a minute later with a body slam and a pin and then took the 3rd and final fall less than a minute after that with another body slam and a pin.

The match wasn't that good. Butts works like a typical 1980's American heel and this was not the typical technical WoS style. He focused mostly on cheap shots and there wasn't much wrestling here. The match was too short and too rushed to really be good anyway

Curry objects to the helmet so Ginsberg, the heel, removed it. The announcer said this was the first time he's removed it during a match. A fan was heckling him about it as well and Ginsberg brought it up.

Curry picked up the 2nd fall in the 4th round with a body slam and pin.

The finish

Abe Ginsberg beat Pete Curry with the 3 in 1 in the 6th round. The story of this was dirty heel Ginsberg sticking to the rules, taking off his helmet and dominating Curry on the mat and in holds before taking the win. Mostly all mat based here until the end with Ginsberg focusing Curry's left leg. The work wasn't anything too special but Ginsberg was pretty smooth and is definitely a technican who is pretty good at doing his thing. Ginberg's helmet was something I've never seen before and made him stand out. Curry wasn't bad but he didn't bring anything of note to the table. This was unoffensive at worst and really just kind of average.
