AEW Collision 10/10/2026 Grand Slam France

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/10/aew-collision-1032026.html

Note - This ran partially against WWE Money in the Bank 2026.

We are in Paris, France. Tony Schiavone, Nigel McGuinness and Excliabur are on commentary.

The Conglom's do an inset promo ahead of their match. Strong says The Death Riders lack of patience is a lack of respect. Kyle says they will roll them 1 by 1. Willow says let's have a mixed fight in Paris.

Tornado Tag Match, No Countouts - The Conglomeration (Kyle O'Reilly, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong & Willow Nightingale) vs. Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, Marina Shafir & Wheeler Yuta)

Mox is on commentary for this.

They all hit each other and most of them go out to fight. OC sunset flips Yuta and Yuta back elbows him down. OC casadora armdrags Yuta for 1. Yuta does crucifixes on OC. Yuta gutwrench drops OC backwards. Kyle forearms Yua and guillotines him. Shafir then sleepers Kyle while he does it. Shafir leg locks Kyle and Kyle armbars her.

Shafir 619's headscissors OC's head into the apron. Willow cannonballs Shafir off the apron. Yuta topes Willow. Kyle flying knees Yuta off the apron. Strong backdrops DG's back on the rail top. CC catches OC's tope and tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him.

We go to PiP break and return. Kyle is triple teamed in the corner. RS then is triple teamed. Yuta does an assisted plancha outside. OC 2nd rope corkscrew swantons outside. Willow hits lariats on MS. Willow corner lariats her. Willow pounces Yuta. Willow spinebusters MS.

OC superman forearms OC. OC tries to giant swing CC but can't. OC PK's him. CC giant swings him. Kyle leg kicks CC and 2nd rope flying knees him. Kyle guillotines him. DG hits a spinning neckbreaker. MS puts a sleeper on Strong then hip throws him into a reverses choke. Willow breaks it up.

The girls get put in submissions at the same time and they hit each other at the same time. Yuta flying knees OC. Kyle takes running corner attacks. Kyle takes spike neutralizer and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was a free for all. There was rarely more than 2 people fighting at once. Someone would leave then someone would come in and replace them. There was a bit too much intergender stuff for me and OC had to turn this into a joke as usual. I didn't like this much.

Chris Jericho says Collision will be on a cruise ship on 11/7.

Chris Jericho vs. Nick Wayne

Nick comes out with a hooded cape with shoulder pads.

Nick hits him from behind while the crowd sings CJ's song. Nick stomps him. CJ hits chops and Nick flying euros him. Nick hits CJ and CJ dropkicks him. CJ chops him and bites him. Nick back body drops him out. Nick asai moonsaults him outside.

CJ crabs him and Nick bites the ankle. CJ hits mounted shots. Nick low blows CJ when the ref doesn't see it and gets a 2 count on him. Nick buzzsaw kicks him. Nick os cutters him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was slow match. There was absolutely nothing going on between the various spots, but at least Nick couldn't do his usual brainless match. This wasn't that good.

Konosuke Takeshita says he's a champ and won't stop until he has gold again. He says he wants in on Clockwork Carnage. He says he wants to prove why he's the alpha.

Clockwork Carnage Qualifying Match - Mike Bailey vs. Lee Moriarty

Lee backs Mike up on the ropes and back elbows him there. Mike cartwheels over him and flying headscissors him. Mike slingshot plancha's him outside. Lee running facekicks him then Mike kicks him down. They then butt heads.

Mike handstands out of a headscissors. Lee stun guns him  then swinging neckbreakers him. Lee basement dropkicks him for 1. Lee straightjacket chokes him. Mike rolls Lee out and triangle asai moonsaults him outside.

We go to PiP break and return. Mike is pulled over the top and Lee topes him. Mike standing moonsault double knee drops him on the floor.  Lee lifting flatliners him. Mike standing spanish flies him off a crossbody. Lee sleepers him and Mike uses the ropes to escape. Mike superkicks him. Mike spin kicks him in the corner. Mike 2nd rope ultimate weapons him and pins him.

Thoughts: Mike won as expected. Lee's not on this show that much (and he loses when he is on here) while Mike is heavily featured in AEW. It didn't get enough time to be anything great and was just average. It was mostly Mike hitting cool moves and Lee being along for the ride.

Will Ospreay comes out and poses with Mike after.

The Demand do a promo. Ric talks about Clockwork Carnage. He says it's suited for him as he's the best athlete in the world. He says he was the first National champ and it's fitting he is in the first Clockwork match. He says he will leap over all hurdles because he is simply out of this world.

Swerve Strickland vs. Carlie Bravo

Both guys have their partners with them.

CB misses a corner splash and is dropped with punches. SS stomps him. SS dropkicks him in the knee of the bottom rope. SS does an octopus. Trish Adora gets on the apron and SS is distracted. SS swinging neckbreakers him then does a regular neckbreaker. SS neckbrekaers him over the 2nd rope.

SS' throat is pulled down over the top rope. CB neckbreakers him. CB hits punches on SS in the corner. CB does prince Nana's dance and lariats him down. SS suplexes him. SS euros him in the corner and 2nd rope diving euros him in the back of the neck. SS rolls into a flatliner on him.

Shane Taylor distracts the ref and Shawn Dean beats up SS. Kofi and Creed join in. Shane Taylor drops them. CB dives through the buckles and ddt's SS on the floor. CB slingshot cutters SS for 2. CB rolls up SS for 2.

CB punches SS then SS flying house call kicks him. SS top rope double stomps him and pins him.

Thoughts: SS won as expected and the only question was how long it would take to get us there. It was average for the most part and very very random.

The Death Riders (Mox, Gabe Kidd and Marina Shafir) do a promo in the back. Mox says it's been a long week as they are a man down. Mox says they will keep doing what they do everyday. Mox says a victory over them just makes them better and p!sses them off. Mox says they are just getting started with Mark Davis and says he's in the game now. Gabe says one win doesn't win you the season. He says he outworks The Don Callis Family every single day. Shafir says no one is willing to suffer like them. She says it's Death Riders vs The World.

AEW National Title Match - Andrade El Idolo (c) vs. Michael Oku

Idolo side headlock takeovers him then Oku does the same. Oku trips him and flying headscissors him but Idolo headflips out. Oku flying knees him from the side. Idolo poses on the ropes and is dropkicked out. Idolo belly to belly overhead suplexes Oku into the rails. Idolo then flirts with a girl in the front row.

The girl with Oku then wants to take a photo with Idolo. Oku fosbury flops over the top onto Idolo. We go to PiP break and return. Idolo does a top rope moonsault into a standing moonsault for 2. Oku trips him into a half-crab.

Oku PK's him. Oku top rope moonsaults him for 2. Oku top rope frogsplashes him on the back. Oku misses a top rope forgsplash. Oku rolls him up for 2. Idolo spinning back elbows him. Idolo hits the DM and wins.

Thoughts: Idolo won as expected in this random bout. What we got wasn't bad with some highflying action, but it was a bit hard to care since the outcome was beyond obvious.

Idolo has his AEW Title shot contract and says he's still waiting for the right moment to use it. He says he will defend his National Title every week until them.

Idolo says if anyone thinks they can beat him, he has a question. Tomasso Ciampa  then comes out and interrupts. Ciampa points at the title and they shake hands. Idolo goes to leave and Ciampa knees him in the face. Ciampa ddt's him over the 2nd rope on the title.

AEW Women's World Tag Team Title #1 Contendership Three Way Match - Harley Cameron & Kris Statlander vs. Sisters Of Sin (Julia Hart & Skye Blue) vs. Divine Dominion (Lena Kross & Megan Bayne)

The Brawling Birds are on commentary for this one.

Harley and SB kick each other and Harley running neckbreakers her. SB takes a russian legsweep into a slingshot swanton. Kris is tilt-a-whirl'd onto SB.

Kris sliding lariats SB. Harley rolls SB into a half-crab. Hart superkicks Harley. Everyone starts hitting moves one after the other. SB knees Harley in the face. Meg throws SB onto others outside.

We go to PiP break, full break and return. Kris ki krushers Hart for 2. Harley takes a double gordbuster and a double superkick. Hart and SB hit ddt's on Dominion. We get 2 tower of doom spots in opposite corners. Hart takes a claymore kick into a german from Dominion for 2. SB takes pump kicks from Dominion and a german from Meg. Lena superkicks Kris down. Kris double hurricanrana's Dominion. Hart kind of la mistica's Kris down. Harley pushes SB off the top. Kris hits a one-arm package tombstone on Hart and pins her.

Thoughts: They didn't botch anything but it also didn't get a ton of time. What we got was acceptable. I'm curious what happens to Divine Dominion now that they aren't in the title picture and don't have a ton of use. Lena is screwed if that team breaks up. AEW pretty much insists on pushing Kris all the time so her team won here.

AEW World Tag Team Title Match - The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) (c) vs. The Dogs (Clark Connors & David Finlay)

The Bucks pose and get nailed from behind. The Bucks get booted in the corners. The Dogs hit running corner attacks. The Bucks hit running corner lariats then stereo bulldogs. A Buck is popped up into a double dropkick on The Dogs. A Buck dropkicks The Dog through the ropes and the other corkscrew dives over the top.

A Buck takes corner attacks. The Dogs are sent into each other. A Buck flying lariats CC. A Buck northern lights suplexes DF twice then he double northern lights suplexes The Dogs together.

DF is bridged for a top rope swanton for 2. The Dogs take double superkicks. DF ducks a BTE trigger. CC lariats a Buck over the top. DF uranage backbreakers a Buck. CC pounces a Buck outside. We go to PiP break and return.

CC takes a springboard double stomp and DV takes a backcracker while on the 2nd rope. A Buck hits a top rope swanton while the other hits a top rope dropkick. DF takes a double team sunset flip german. A Buck flips off the top and stunners DF for 2. DF is bridged on the top rope, double stomped and flips into a sitout bomb.

The Bucks do stereo sharpshooters. CC powerslams a Buck. CC runs into a superkick. DF takes superkicks and does a double lariat. DF takes a double superkick. DF is stunnered over the top rope. CC spears a Buck through the ropes on the apron. DF dominators a Buck for 2. A Buck takes a high/low for 2.

A Buck takes a suplex + top rope diving spear for 2. A Buck 2nd rope hurricanrana's DF. DF takes a double superkick. DF takes a BTE trigger and is pinned.

Thoughts: The Bucks won as expected. I didn't like this match much. It was one spot after another. The spots weren't sold well and they just moved onto the next one, so nothing really meant anything. This also didn't have much build to it.

Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher jump The Bucks after. Don Callis then pounds on a Buck. The heels leave The Bucks laying and pose over them with the titles to close the show.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual Collision just with some bigger names. Almost everything was random and the outcomes were obvious in 4 of the matches. That made it hard to care. They also had to squeezes 7 matches into a 2 hour show and that also meant things didn't get quite as much time to play out as they should have. I'd put Oku/Idolo as the match of the night, but it was nothing memorable. I'd give this one a 4 out of 10 overall as I couldn't get into it and I thought it was below average.
