WXM Ground Zero 4/25/2026 Episode 18

Jeet does announcement with Bobby B. He says a masked man entered the Performance Center and attacked Raj the Maharajah. He says Raj is banned from WXM until he is medically cleared. He says he is keeping safety in mind and it's necessary. 

The commentators talk about tonight's show. We have:

XWM Heavyweight Title Tournament - Avi vs Charles Sterling

Char has Lady Sterling with him. They lock up and Char armlocks him. Char wristlocks him then throws him over by the arm. Avi side headlock takeovers him. Avi flying headscissors him then dropkicks him.

Avi misses a top rope move and is lariated. Char suplexes him then backbreakers him. Char kneels on his back and chinlocks him. Avi forearms him. Char forearms him in the spine. Avi pump kicks him. Avi goes up top but is in pain. Char crotches him then backdrop uranage's him. Char pins Avi.

Thoughts: It was a shorter bout and it was fine. Avi was the underdog and got beaten as expected. 

Donovan Dijak interrogates Skyler and has his hands all chained up. Dijak tells him to open the box up on the table. Skyler shows him it and it's a barbell. Skyler says his fingerprints are on it and he might want to check for more. Dijak asks why he's helping him. Skyler says his partner has outlived his forgiveness. He says he likes starting fires and watching them get bigger until nobody can stop it. Dijak says he's sick and Skyler says he's been sick his entire life. He says he has an itch in the back of his head that won't go away. He says when he sees the WXM Title, the itch goes away. Skyler says he'd hurt anyone to wear it and would burn everything. Dijak says he has work to do.

The Zamindar Gang head to the ring and Lady Katherine is asked why there's so much security. Katherine says they saw how weak security was and don't want to take chances in case Raj shows up. 

Kaptaan and Veera vs The Burner Brothers (Ricky and Scotty Burner)

Ricky is the bald one and Scotty has the long hair.

Rick shoves Veera down then side headlocks him. Rick shoulders him over. Veera jumps up and is powerbombed down. Rick chops Veera hard then slaps him. Rick gorilla press throws Veera into a Scott open hand shot.

Veera's head is banged off the buckles and he is chopped. Scott knocks Kap off the apron. Veera hits shots on Rick then Rick lariats Veera down. Veera is thrown into a german from Rick. Rick gets a 2 count on him.

Veera chops his opponents. They try to sandwich him but hit each other. Kap comes in and hits forearms and kicks on Rick. Kap basement dropkicks him. Kap hits a corner spear, an apron enzugiri then a springboard diving lariat. Kap facekicks Rick. 

Rick blocks Kap's springboard and slams him on the floor. Veera is double thrown into a neckbreaker + sitout powerbomb and Veera is pinned.

Thoughts: It was a little one-sided but the faces got a comeback in before going down. The Burner's aren't the prettiest but they hit hard and do come across as tough guys. Veera really got thrown here. I was fine with this.

Jeet wants to talk to Fateh and muscles his security guards around. Bobby B interrupts and says to let the guards go. Bobby says Fateh says he wouldn't come unless he could have his own security. Jeet says WXM has turned into a circus.

The interviewer talks to Zack Sabre Jr. Zack says he's having a great time and says WXM is impressive. He says the fans have been amazing and he will come back. He says he's leaving undefeated and they gave him a good run for his money. He says Kevin Malik is special and he expects big things from him. 

Robbie X and Jack Morris interrupt. Jack says it looks like Zack is running away scared from them. Zack says he has a flight to catch but says to talk to him next them are over in Japan.  

XWM Heavyweight Title Tournament - Guru vs Mecca

Mecca has Fateh's guards with him. 

They lock up and Guru is pushed back. Mecca pulls him down off the next lock up. Guru side headlocks him. Mecca shoulders him over. Guru spin kicks him in the head and corner dropkicks him twice. One of the guards gets in the ring. Mecca gains the edge off of it and drops Guru with a punch.

Mecca foot chokes him then corner hip attacks him several times. Mecca corner splashes him for 2. Guru hits shots to the gut. Mecca pop up samoan drops him for 2. Guru hits leg kicks and punches. Guru hits forearms. Mecca headbutts him. 

Guru corner euros him then bulldogs him. Guru backdrops him. Guru topes Mecca and the guards outside. Guru dropkicks Mecca into the steps. Guru top rope elbow drops him and pins him.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time. Mecca threw him around and squashed him with splashes. Guru did some flying and eventually picked up the win. It was acceptable but it went a little long and I think the first half of this needed more.

Kanji does a problem. She says her dad is Indian and his family liked wrestling. She says she watched wrestling with her family and her and her cousins said they wanted to be wrestlers. She says her dad passed away before she started wrestling but her grandparents were happy to see her wrestling. She says she's so proud to be here. She says she wanted to come here and show that everyone an unknown wrestler says is wrong about India.

JD Lee is laughing at stuff on his phone. He sees Ikemen Jiro dancing with people. He tells Jiro to stop and says this is stupid. He says Jiro's here for a fight. Jiro dances again and he says he's still stupid. He pulls Jiro away.

Neel is interviewed. He says he's waiting for Dijak to provide an update on the investigation. Big Damo comes in. He says it was a hell of a war last week. Damo says he'd be cracking skulls if someone was attacking hm. He tells him to start acting like a beast and stop acting like the gentle giant.

Jack Morris asks Robbie X if he's ready. X says he's always ready. Jack says let's not hit Anthony Greene in the face today. Jack says they have a lot of history together and asks that they avoid attacking his injured face. X isn't going for it. Jack says do whatever it takes to win, but don't hit him in the face.

WXM Tag Titles - JAI Connection (Baliyan Akki and Anthony Green) (c) vs Robbie X and Jack Morris

Mei Suruga is with JAI. AG has a protective face mask on.

Jack backs up AG on the ropes and taps his face mask. AG side headlocks him then shoulders him over. AG blcoks a hiptoss. They try to boot each other at the same time and let go of their legs at the same time. They then hug. 

X tags himself in. He boots AG and tries to punch him in the face. Jack yells at X for it. Akki gets in and the four argue. X hit punches on Akki. Akki shoulders him over then tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him. 

X spits at AG. Jack knees Akki from the apron. Akki boots X out of the corner. Akki is up top and X cartwheels into a pele kick on him. Jack clubs on Akki then knees him in the head for 2. Jack abdominal stretches Akki. Akki hiptosses him. X gets into Mei's face outside. Akki flying headscissors Jack.

AG gets in and hits back elbows on X. He corner chops him. X goes up and over then spin kicks him in the gut. AG superkicks X then AG flips him off a backdrop for 2. X pushes JAI into each other. X handspring kicks his opponents off the apron then he slingshot plancha's Akki.

X standing ssp's Akki. Jack top rope splashes Akki for 2. Jack falcon arrows Akki for 2. Akki hits kicks on Jack then lariats him. Jack tries to pin Akki with his feet on the ropes and AG stops him. AG superkicks X outside. Akki rolls up Jack and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a decent tag bout here with Jack and AG trying to be friendly towards each other and Robbie X being a bit more heelish. Akki wasn't bad as the undercard face and I thought this worked out well. 

The four stand in the ring after. Akki offers a handshake and X shakes his hand. Jack and AG shake hands. Jack kicks him in the nuts. X dropkicks Akki out. X then takes off Jack's protective face mask. Zack Sabre Jr. comes out and saves AG. Zack euros the heels and throws AG out. Venomous then attacks Zack. Venomous grabs a chair then Kevin Malik comes out. Malik and Venomous go head to head but they don't fight. 

Axel Tischer is interviewed. He says he hasn't been here due to Jeet not wanting him here. He says Jeet has a problem with him since he embarrassed his golden boys. Axel says he's here to stay and has big plans for WXM.

Skyler is told Samuray del Sol is looking for him. Neel then grabs Skyler and throws him into chairs. He chokes him and demands he tell him who the masked man was. Skyler tells him to ask Dijak as he already told him. Neel leaves and Skyler laughs.

B2B (Regner & Suraj) vs Fateh The Zamindar and Dev

Suraj is the smaller one with the braids. 

Fateh has his whole crew and guards with him. Dev and Fateh attack B2B before the bell rings. Fateh drops Suraj. Suraj cartwheels out of a wristlock and is tripped. Suraj headscissors Fateh then corner splashes him. Suraj rolls Dev into Fateh. Suraj dropkicks Dev.

Suraj dropkicks Dev in the knee. Reg legdrops Dev on the back of the neck. Suraj is sent into the steps. Reg is lariated onto Dev's double knees. Fateh hits mounted shots on Reg.

Dev boots Reg in the gut. Dev taunts Reg then stomps his gut. Fateh euros Reg in the back of the neck for 2. Reg enzugiri's Dev and tags out. Suraj comes in and flying forearms Dev. He high kicks him then single leg dropkicks him. Suraj top rope crossbodies Dev.Reg superkicks Fateh out. 

Suraj top rope plancha's Dev and overshoots a bit. Reg's tope is caught by Fateh then Fateh superkicks him. Suraj is sent into the rails. Fateh flying cutters Reg and pins him.

Thoughts: Dev's gotta work on his work a little as he comes off a bit clumsy. It was acceptable but nothing too special. B2B needed to do a little more here and the finish could have been better.

Raj gets behind Dev and Fateh while wearing security gear. He clears them away with a night stick and beats up the guards. Raj cobra clutch slams a guard and Raj stands tall as the heels yell at him.  

Overall thoughts: The wrestling was fine here. Nothing was bad. The tag title match was the best match on the show and had some good stories in it. Raj returned at the end despite being banned which wasn't too shocking. As always, they have some decent in-ring action along with some good storylines and they just get wrestling. These shows are always easy and fun watches and this was no exception. I'd give it a 6 out 10 and I thought it was good.

Capitan Suicida vs Skyler

Sky jumps Cap as he walks down the ramp. Cap's head is banged off the steps. Sky stomps Cap's head into the steps. Sky tries to take Cap's mask off. Flip Gordon comes out to make the save. Flip hits shots on Sky. Sky eye rakes Flip then hits a jade end. Sky legdrops Flip's arm and pulls it backwards. 

Samuray del Sol comes out with his arm in a sling. He takes the sling off and goes after Sky. Sol and Sky trade shots. The faces triple team Sky and Sky leaves.

Sol says Sky needs to pay his dues. He tells him to find friends, but says he doesn't have any. Sol says him, Flip and Cap are "The Lucha Amigos". Sol tells Sky to make some friends as they are going to lucha, lucha, lucha. 

Thoughts: There was no match here, just an angle to set up another match. I'm guessing Skyler took out Sol's arm.

Jeet and Bobby B talk. Raj The Maharaja comes in. He says he's cleared and says to put him in a match. Bobby and Jeet say Raj isn't cleared yet. Raj asks what he should do. Jeet tells him to get better and says he will put him in a title match then. Raj leaves and Bobby says it went amazing.

Mei Suruga, Miya Yotsuba and Angel Hayze vs Mila Smidt, Emi Sakura and Sheikha Suzu

5 of the 6 fight with Suzu just watching. Angel hits forearms on Mila. Angel codebreakers her then flying forearms her in the corner. Angel back elbows Mila and boots her. Angel sling blades Mila.

Mei top rope crossbodies Mila. Emi knees Emi in the back from the apron then Mila superkicks Mei for 2. Emi chops Mei and hair throws her. Emi stands on Mei's back and fingers. Emi bites Mei's fingers. Miya tags in and dropkicks Emi into the corner. 

Emi grabs Miya by the hair and Miya flying shoulders Emi. Suzu didn't want to get in but she gets in and Miya slams her for 2. Emi throws Angel into the 2nd buckle as things break down. Mei and Emi fight outside. Suzu eye rakes Miya then running knees her. Suzu pins Miya.

Thoughts: The story here was that Suzu didn't want to get involved and she didn't until she had to. It was short but what we got was fine. This was the first 6-woman tag in WXM history. 

Skyler says he heard Dijak wants to chat with him. He says it's funny how popular he has become in a short time. He says it seems everyone is looking for him. He says he's glad Samuray del Sol has healed because he gets to hurt him again. He tells Sol to find a 4th luchador as he has 3 friends who want to play his lucha game. He says he knows who attacked Neel and will tell him everything next week.

Donovan Dijak vs Jossan

Jos has Ladamel with him.

They lock up. Dijak side headlocks him. Dijak boots him and hits forearms. Dijak running back elbows him in the corner. Jos suplexes him into the buckles. Jos germans him. Jos corner splashes him. Jos clubs Dijak's chest for 2.

Dijak chops him and is hit with a forearm. Jos slams him for 2. Jos sentons him. Jos misses a 2nd rope senton. Dijak hits forearms and lariats. Dijak suplex throws him for 2. Jos catches him with a black hole slam for 2. 

Dijak superkicks him then lariats him over the top. Dijak tope con hilos him. Dijak is pushed into the ref. Dijak superkicks Jos. Ladamel gives Jos a metal bracelet. Dijak goes after Ladamel and Jos punches Dijak out with the bracelet.

Raj The Maharajah then attacks Josh from behind. He stomps him then goes after Ladamel. Lad is sent into the steps. Dijak hits a GTH/feast your eyes on Jos and pins him.

Thoughts: This was fine. Raj was getting revenge on Jossan here as Jossan was one of the people who took him out.. Dijak hit a nice lariat and tope con hilo'd Jossan. Jossan isn't super spectacular but he looks good and did his part.

Raj and Dijak butt heads after. Dijak leaves and Raj cobra clutch slams Jossan on a chair.  

Bobby B brings security out. Raj beats up security. 

Lady Katherine vs Shakti

This is Shakti's WXM debut. Lady has Sir Charles Sterling with her. They say Shakti won the WXM Tryouts.

Lady offers a handshake then boots and clubs her. Lady clubs on Jos and chokes her in the corner. Sterling drinks tea outside. Lady poses in the ring and Shak waistlock takedowns her a few times. Lady back elbows her.

Shak mises a corner charge and goes headfirst into the buckles. Lady sitout double arm chokeslams her and pins her.

Thoughts: It was a short one and they focused on Sterling more than the match here. Shak got nothing in but a waistlock takedown. This wasn't much.

Sterling gets on the mic after. He says Brav to Lady Katherine and asks if this was the best WXM had to offer. He says Lady is #1 and there is nothing anyone can do about it. Sterling says Lady is issuing an open challenge to one more wrestler. Sterling tells any rubbish or low class citizen to come out. Kanji comes out.

Open Challenge - Lady Katherine vs Kanji

Lady offers her her hand and tries to kick her. Kanji blocks it and germans her. Kanji back elbows her and pins her. Sterling spits out his tea everywhere.

Thoughts: It wast just a quick one with Kanji taking down Lady with ease. 

Kanji throws Sterling's tea in his face at him after then raises Shakti's arm.  

Jai Connection are interviewed about their upcoming tag title match. Akki is asked about the tension between him and Jack Morris. Akki says Anthony Greene could have taken Jack Morris' feet off the ropes during their match. Greene says him and Jack have a history and he was frozen in time when it happened. Green says it doesn't mean he's not serious about being tag champs with him. Akki says they lost and it matters and they can't lose as tag champs. Akki says Greene has to show he's on his side. Greene says he will when they defend the tag titles next week. Akki says "let's do it".

WXM Heavyweight Title Tournament Second Round - Neel vs Big Damo

They lock up and Damo shoves him. Damo side headlocks him. Neel side headlocks him and they shoulder battle. Damo blocks a slam attempt. Damo crossbodies him. Damo cranks his head. Damo throws him hard into the buckles. They lariat each other at the same time. Neel hits a bunch of lariats. Damo corner lariats him then Neel corner lariats him. 

Damo sits up top and is dropkicked down. Neel suicide dives him. Damo pump kicks him inside. Neel catches a crossbody and fallaway slams him. A masked man comes out and trips Neel. Damo shotgun dropkicks him in the corner. Damo vader bomb's him. Damo hits a 2nd vader bomb and wins.

Thoughts: It was a solid big man match. They covered the basics with the shoulderblock and lariat battles. Neel hit a nice suicide dive and they put over the story of him having to work to slam Damo over well. I liked this.

Jeet is looking for security to find the masked man from the last match. Sha Samuels gets in. He says Jeet attacked him, left hm off the show and now left out of the title tournament. Jeet says he doesn't have time for this.

Next week's show has Avi vs Charles Sterling in a WXM World Title Tournament Match, Kaptaan and Veera face The Burner Brothers, Mecca faces Guru in a WXM World Title Tournament Match, B2B face Fateh and Dev and The Jai Connection face Robbie X and Jack Morris in a tag title match. 

Capitan Suicida, Flip Gordon, Kevin Malik & Samuray del Sol vs. Skyler & Zamindar Gang (Damien Corvin, Dev & Mecca)

Cap's team gets hit as they walk down the ramp. Kevin's head is banged off the post by Dev. Mecca bites Sol. Mecca rams Sol into the commentary table. Kevin takes shots from Dev and Damien as everyone fights outside. 

Flip and Damien get in. Flip chops him. Flip handstands. Damien powerslams him. Mecca corner splashes Flip then foot chokes him. Mecca chokes him against the 2nd rope. Skyler hits Flip in the gut then rakes his face on the ropes. 

Skyler bangs Flip's head off the mat. Skyler bites Flip' head. Dev corner lariats Flip. Skyler pulls Flip down by the hair. Dev pounds on Flip.  Flip cradles Dev for 2. Dev blocks Flip's tag and elbow drops him. Damien hits Flip in the gut. Flip superkicks Mecca and tags in Sol. Sol's top rope crossbody is caught. Sol hits a double hurricanrana on Mecca and Damien. Sol spin kicks Damien in the gut. Sol rolls into a kick on Damien then short hurricanrana spike's him.

Sol spin kicks Mecca in the head. Flip top rope double blockbusters Damien and Mecca. Flip corkscrew kicks Skyler. Kevin hits shots on Dev then walks up the ropes and seated moonsaults into an armdrag on him. Kevin lariats him over the top and goes with him. Cap topes outside and takes over Kevin on the dive on accident. Dev grabs a chair and backs up Cap. B2B comes out to defend Cap. Kevin top rope moonsaults Dev outside. 

Flip and Sol hit stereo superkicks on Mecca and Damien. Mecca powers through and eats a double superkick. Sol is popped up into a double dropkick on them. Flip and Sol hit stereo topes. 

Cap climbs a giant ladder and plancha's multiple people outside. Sol shiranui's Damien and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a fun and wild tag match. It was pretty much an 8-man brawl all the way through but it worked. The faces flew and the heels did what they were supposed to do.

The faces celebrate in the crowd after.

Overall thoughts: It was the usual fun WXM show. It's easy to watch and it's simple pro wrestling with clear faces and heels. Maybe they don't have any huge names, but the Indian wrestlers can go and the foreign wrestlers are good as well. Suicida/Skyler never got started. The women's trios match was fine as was Dijak/Jokkan. Katherine squashed Shakti then got squashed by Kanji. Neel/Damo had a good heavyweight match and then we had a fun main. I'd give this an easy 6 out of 10 and would recommend it.

Raj the Maharaja has relinquished his title. 

Avi vs JD Lee

Lee has Tokyo Jiro/Ikemen Jiro with him. JD throws his jacket in Jiro's face. Avi poses for Jiro and Jiro pretends to take photos of him.

JD poses at Avi and offers a handshake. They pose together then JD pulls him down. JD hits mounted shots. JD rakes Avi's hand on the 2nd rope and gets a 2 count. JD double axe handles him.

Avi hits punches and drops JD twice. Avi spin kicks him in the gut and boots him in the head. JD boots him out of the corner. Avi falcon arrows him. JD rolls him up for 2 and step up enzugiri's him. Jiro poses in the crowd and JD gets mad. Avi trips JD then pins his shoulders down with his feet. Avi wins.

Thoughts: It had a lot of shenanigans here with Jiro. It was a shorter bout and it wasn't much of note at all. 

JD grabs Jiro after and yells at him on his way to the back.

The Shiekdom is in the back. Sheikha Suzu says they will raise high under her leadership and their family name will get the respect it deserves. Mila Smidt walks in with Emi Sakura. They say they need her help and says some girls have been a problem. Suzu agrees to help as long as The Zamindar has something to offer in return. Mila promises a mutual agreement will be made.

We see Dijak interrogating Bobby B (this is from last week). He says there's no way the masked man could have exited the building without being caught on film. Bobby pleads his innocence. Dijak says they can do this the easy way or the hard way. Bobby says there's more footage but he can't show him as he will lose everything. Dijak then slams his nightstick and says he loves when they play hard to get. Bobby cries.

Samrouf vs Charles Sterling

Samrouf is the head chef of WXM. He has a spatula and a chain. Lady Katherine is with Charles. Charles seems to run a British nobleman type of gimmick.

CS tells him he doesn't have a chance against him. They lock up and CS hammerlocks him. CS slaps him in the head. CS snapmares him then throws him by the arm. Katherine is pleased. CS shoulders Sam down then drops him with a punch. CS suplexes him twice then hits mounted punches. CS bites his head. CS backdrop uranages him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a quick squash with Sam getting basically nothing in before going down.

Devi is interviewed about him and Mila. He doesn't want to talk about it and says he wants to punch the interviewer sometimes. Mila comes in and says she has a job for him. Devi complains about her ignoring him after some kind of date. She say she can't have this conversation and leaves.

Shakti is interviewed. She says things have gone well so far here and says she is getting a lot of support. Lady Katherine and Charles walk in. Charles  says he didn't know this country had any wrestlers and asks where Shakti was when Katherine issued an open challenge. Shakti talks in her language and Katherine tells her to speak in the king's language.  Charles and Katherine leave. 

B2B (Regner & Suraj) vs. Sheikdom (Sheikh Al-Sham & Sheikh Shaheen)

The Sheikdom are middle eastern millionaires and one of them is carried out on 2 servant's shoulders. Suzu is with Sheikdom.

Shaheen ties up Suraj's legs and side headlock takeovers him. Suraj la magistral's him for 2. Suraj armdrags and dropkicks him. Sham yells at Suraj. Regner tags in. He tries shoulders on Sham. Reg upkicks him and dropkicks him. Reg dropkicks him in the corner then goes up and over. Sham hits a hard spinning lariat. Sham suplexes him. 

Suraj top rope diving headscissors Sham. Shaheen is slapped on the apron. His servants stop him from falling off. Suraj then jumps off his partner's back and dives on his servants. Sham knees Suraj in the gut outside.

Suraj fights out of the corner and pulls Sham over the top. Reg is tagged in. Reg lariats Shaheen and spin kicks him in the gut. He boots him in the head then double underhook twisting drops him for 2.

Suraj top rope crossbodies Sham but is caught. Reg dropkicks them over. Dev runs down. B2B are dropkicked into the ropes and take a 619 + drive by combo from The Sheikdom. Suraj takes a 2nd rope superplex and a top rope Shaheen double stomp. Shaheen pins Suraj.

Thoughts: It was an okay bout here with B2B being the underdogs and going down. Dev likely just got paid off by The Shiekdom to help them here. 

Shaheen is carried out by his servants after.

Dijak is still interrogating Bobby B (this is from last week). Bobby B begs and says he has a family. Bobby says he will shove him the video. Bobby then shows him the video. Dijak ask why he met with Skyler. Bobby says he found Skyler. He says Skyler is crazy. Bobby says he doesn't know about the masked man. He (Bobby) says everyone will suspect him now. Dijak says he was used as a pawn as he's a coward. Dijak says he's too small and weak to be the mystery man. and says he's free to go.

Sha Samurels is on the phone. He says bet's are off. Mila Smidt comes in and gives him an envelope from The Zamindar. Sha then tells his friend John that they are back.

Baliyan Akki vs. Jack Morris

Akki has Anthony Greene and Mei Suruga with him. Jack has Robbie X with him. Jack has a black eye going into this. 

They lock up. Akki backs him up on the ropes and clean breaks. Jack slaps him on the break. Akki rolls him and shoulders him over. Akki slams him then corner facekicks him. Robbie X distracts Akki. Jack nails Akki from behind and stomps him. 

Jack slams Akki for 2 then abdominal stretches him. Akki ropebreaks. Jack clubs him and boots him in the face. Akki suplexes him. Jack lariats him over the top then topes him. Akki back body drops him. Akki hits some shots and an enzugiri. Akki flying headscissors him. Akki hits punches.

Jack knees him in the gut then Akki spinebusters him. Robbie X gets on the apron and is facekicked. Akki high kicks him. Jack then puts his feet on the ropes and pins him.

Thoughts: It was another bout that was on the shorter end. What we got was average to fine and totally tolerable. They push that Green could have saved his buddy here but hesitated. Greene gives Akki his title after.

Jossan talks to Ladamel. Mila Smidt comes in and gives them an envelope. She says they will pay double if they take care of the problem known as Dijak. They say they can take care of it. Jossan throws the money and says he doesn't need it.

Bobby B calls Rishi and says they need to talk about Dijak. Bobby says he's great. Jeet comes in. He asks why Bobby hid the footage from him. Bobby says he was kidnapped by DIjak and says his life was in dangerous. Jeet says what he is doing is wrong and asks why Sha Samuels is in the tournament. Bobby says he won last week and that deserves an opportunity. Jeet disagrees.

Avi comes in to talk to Jeet. Jeet says he's improving in a short span of time. Avi says he knows he is young and says it's a dream to compete in the WXM Tournament. Jeet tells him to watch for the announcement at the end of the show.

Zack Sabre Jr. does a promo and says Kevin Malik is the future of WXM. Zack then gets attacked by a masked man known as Venomous

Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Venomous

Zack facekicks him twice to start. Zack side headlocks him then Ven shoulders him over. Ven hits forearms in the corner and Zack euros him several times. Ven drops him with an uppercut. Zack trips him then pulls on his leg. Ven stomps him. 

Ven hits a big punch. Zack triangles him over the top rope. Zack euros him against the rails then throws him in. Ven atomic drops him and lariats him. Ven hits mounted shots. Zack triangles him and Ven chokes him to escape. Ven hits mounted forearms. 

Ven hits shots in the corner and drops him. Ven spinning suplexes him for 2. Zack pump kicks him and dropkicks him. Zack euros him in the corner then twists his head with his feet. Zack low dropkicks him in the back of the neck for 2. Zack cobra twists him and Ven fights out. 

Ven hits chops. Zack chops back. Ven superkicks him for 2.  Zack pele kicks his arm. Zack catches an enzugiri and does a grounded ankle lock. Ven ropebreaks. Ven slingblades him. Ven exuploders him. Ven top rope frogsplashes Zack for 2. Zack germans Ven then michinoku drivers him for 2. Zack PK's him and wins.

Thoughts: It was an okay bout. It wasn't great or anything but certainly watchable. Ven's not bad at all and this got enough time to play out.

Zack says he doesn't know what Ven's problem is with him or Kevin Malik but he's a tough b@stard. He tells him to stop trying to compare himself to Kevin Malik and to be his own man instead.

Mei Suruga, Miya Yotsuba and Angel Hayze talk in the back. Mei says they got attacked and wonders why it's always bad, bad, bad. She says she doesn't like it. Angel says she won't let it happen again. She says it doesn't matter if Suzu is recruited as they are the best team here and will win next week. Miya syas "Jigra Hai" with the toher 2.

Skyler talks to Mila Smidt next to a fire. Mil wants him to pledge his loyalty to The Zamindar. He says he will pledge his loyalty soon. He says he heard Dijak is coming after him. Mila says Jossan will take care of that. She then gives Skyler money in an envelope. Skyler says people are so afraid of fire but says fire reveals the truth. He then throws the money into the fire. He says no matter what you throw into it, he flames get bigger. He says he compares himself to the fire as he has an uncontrollable rage. He says he is the uncontrollable fire and has the rage he can't control. He says he resembles the fire and is the fire. 

Jeet does a promo. He says Raj is out of the tournament due to injury and says a last chance gauntlet will be held to fill his place. He says entry will be decided by a draw.

Next week has Capitan Suicida vs Skyler, Mei Suruga/Miya Yotsuba/Angel Hayze vs Mila Smidt/Emi Sakura and Sheikha Suzu, Jossan vs Donovan Dijak, Lady Katherine and Neel vs Big Damo in a WXM Title Tournament match. 

The Zamindar are holding a funeral for Raj the Maharaja (Jinder Mahal). They have photos him in the ring mocking him. The Zamindar Gang come out. Fateh (the leader) say it's a sad night for them and they are here for the funeral of Raj the Maharaja. They say Raj's era is finished now and says it's time for their era. Fateh says he's the best wrestler of this generation. Fateh says Raj won a lot of titles and was the best at one point but says his bleeding head was on their feet and Raj was begging them to spare his life. They tell Dev to say something about Raj. Dev says Raj got his hands on him and gave him a beating. He says Raj deserves what he got. 

Dev says Raj was a hero for them and taught them how to be like him. Dev says he inspired all of them. He says they should be thankful. Fateh takes the mic from Dev. He says the next time Dev praises him, his photo will have a garland on it too. Fateh tells Dev to dress in black like the rest of them and tells him to get out of the ring. Dev goes but clearly doesn't agree. Fateh says to forget Dev and says it's time for a ten bell salute to Raj. They then ring the bell for Raj. 

Jeet comes down and interrupts. He asks what Fateh is doing and asks who gave him permission to do this. He says to stop it. Fateh asks where he's been. He says it's The Zam's time because Raj is dead. Raj then appears and knocks over the photo. He chases Fateh and beats up The Zam's. Raj then chairs The Zam's and sends one of them into the photo. Raj then does a cobra clutch slam on a chair on another one of them.

Thoughts: It was a fun little angle with Raj interrupting his own funeral and getting some shots in on the heels. 

Overall thoughts: This is my second time watching WXM. It was a good show. It has a Lucha Underground type of feel to it and it mixes decent wrestling with good storylines and some Indian flavor. They have subtitles up for everything and they have English commentary so it's easy to follow even if you are watching for the first time. This is a newer promotion but they are already way ahead of most US promotions and this is a serious professional company. This show is top quality and well worth your time to check out. I'd give this an easy 6 out of 10 and you can't possibly watch this show and not want to see another ep. Very impressive stuff here from the WXM crew. Bravo.

Jonny Loquasto and Dave Bradshaw are on commentary.

Raj The Maharajah is told by a doctor he is not ready to wrestle. He gets upset hearing that he won't get his chance to become champ and says we'll see.

Skyler talks on the mic before the match. He's covered in blood. He says we all saw what happened to Raj last week. He says we saw him bleed and saw his breath fade away. The crowd chants for Raj. He says we saw the end of him. He says Raj is out of Breakpoint and he says Skyler will now become champ.

Jeet comes out. He says what Skyler did was wrong. He says one of India's finest wrestlers in now in the hospital. Skyler says he didn't do anything wrong - he was put in a match and didn't touch Raj before or after the match. He says he followed the no contact order. Jeet says he knows what he did. Skyler says he wasn't the only one who was involved and says someone else was involved - The Zamindar. Skyler says his fortune financed it all.

Sha Samuels comes out. He says he's not having this. He says he's the only one who can take the credit for taking out Raj. He says he delivered the killshot, put the rope around his neck and choked him out. Jeet says Sha should leave or he will fire him. Sha says Jeet can't fire him. Sha says he will sue him and take every penny from the company if he tries.

Guru Raaj and Kaptaan comes out. Guru says everyone is mad at what Sha and Skylar did to Raj. He says no one wants  to kick their faces in ore than them. Guru says he hurt a man who works for his people everyday. He asks what Skyler has ever done for his country? 

Skyler says he doesn't give a d@mn about the country and will burn it down to the ground to the win the title. He says he just wanted to get inside Raj's head and he did as he is gone for be good. Raj and his buddy then fight with Skyler and Sha. Skyler and Sha get dropped.

Jeet says let's see who has the jigra and sets up a tag match between these four.

Donovan Dijak interrogates Neel in the back. He says he needs to know who attacked him with the dumbbell. Neel says he just saw a masked man hit him with the dumbbell. He asks why Fateh and The Zamindar want to take him out. Neel says he never met them and Dijak says to tell him the truth. 

Neel says he has known Fateh a long time and something happened a long time ago that Fateh hasn't forgotten. Dijak says Fateh is vicious and a sociopath. Dijak says it wasn't The Zamindar or Fateh who attacked Neel. He says they may have gotten someone outside of the gang. Dijak asks Neel if he's sure the footage doesn't show them. Neel says Bobby B has the footage and Dijak thanks him.

Avi and B2B (Regner & Suraj) vs Cyber Sid and The Burner Brothers (Ricky and Scott Burner)

Ricky is the bald one and Scotty has the long hair.

Sid and Suraj fight. Sid shoulders him over. Suraj dropkicks him. Reg walks up the buckles and top rope diving headscissors him down. Reg legdrops Sid on the neck for 2. Reg punches Sid down then Sid lariats him. 

Scott punches and chops Reg. Ref takes a double pop-up knee. Ricky sentons Reg for 2. Reg is thrown into a backdrop for 2. Avi and Sid get in. Avi forearms and spin kicks him. Avi flying kicks him. Reg and Suraj dropkick The Burners off the apron. Suraj jumps off his partner's back and is caught by The Burner's. Reg then topes The Burner's outside. Avi top rope splashes Sid and pins him.

Thoughts: It was short and fine. They did what they were supposed to do here and Avi came across as likeable. I had no issues with this.  

The Burner's hit Sid after then pop up powerbomb + neckbreaker him.

Bobby B talks to Jeet. Bobby tells Jeet to move on. Jeet says he made a mistake and blames himself for Raj's condition. Bobby says he told him so. Jeet says maybe Bobby was right. Jeet says they need to take strict action over this and wants to suspend some people. Bobby says they have matches and suggests a salary cut for one week. Jeet says one month. Bobby agrees. Jeet says they will go to Locker Room's A and B and tell everyone.

Lady Katherine and Charles Sterling talk. They are given Indian food and ask where the English food is. Charles tries the food and gets upset. He asks if the chef Samrouf is trying to poison him and they fight.

JD Lee takes to Cima on the phone. He says it's hard without a partner and asks Cima to send him anyone as a partner. Cima suggests someone and JD says anyone but that person.

Kevin Malik vs Tokyo Jiro

Tokyo Jiro comes out with JD Lee and JD doesn't like it at all. JD flips out at him. Jiro poses. 

They lock up and Kev side headlocks him. Kev shoulders him over and Jiro kips up and poses. Kev side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Jiro then kips up and poses again. Jiro flying shoulders him then Kev kips up. Jiro flying armdrags him and back elbows him. Kev then dropkicks him. Kev running SSP's him for 2.

Kev chinlocks him and Jiro hits jacket punches. Jiro is back body dropped out and hits his face on the steps. JD Lee then comes on the apron and kicks Kev. Zack Sabre Jr. is watching in the back. Kev is up top and Jiro reverse headscissors him down.  Jiro top rope swantons Kev. Jiro then does a delfin clutch pin for 2.

Kev belly to belly suplexes him. Kev hits lariats on Jiro then samoan drops him. Kev top rope moonsaults him for 2. JD gets on the apron and Jiro complains. They argue on the apron and Jiro pulls him off the apron. Jiro goes for a slingshot and is dropkicked down into JD. Kev tope con hilos both outside.

Kev pumping knees Jiro then sitout reverse slams him. Kev pins him.

Thoughts: It was a good little match here with both guys doing some flying and them playing up the issues between JD and Jiro. Kevin looked good here and it was an athletic highflying bout.

Kev offers Jiro a handshake after. Jiro wants to and JD says no. Jiro thinks Kev means that he should hug him and Jiro hugs Kev to JD's dismay. Jiro then hangs out with the fans in the crowd.

The Zamindar Gang hang out in their room. Fateh says if Raj had joined his gang, he wouldn't be seeing the consequences. Fateh says they are enjoying themselves. Fateh is asked about the fine he has to pay. Fateh laughs and wipes his face with the money. Mila then gives Sha and another wrestler money. Dev asks about his money. Fateh says he has a plan for him and says he thought he wanted another date with Mila Smidt. Dev says if Mila wants to date him, that's her decision and not Fateh's. The Zamindar get mad. Fateh gives Dev money and tells everyone to cool down. Fateh says next week, there will be a funeral for Raj The Maharajah. He says it'll be fun.

Bobby B and Jeet talk to the locker rooms. The heel locker room is happy about Raj's injury. Jeet says that someone needs to take Raj's place. Bobby says Raj is out for a long time and says everyone must pay a fine. Bobby says they need someone to take his spot in the WXM Title Tournament. Neel takes the blame for Raj's injury. Sha says he's sorry - sorry he didn't do it sooner. Jeet tells the locker room he needs someone to show some jigra. Bobby asks for the locker room to chant "jigra hai" and they throw stuff at him. 

Miya Yotsuba vs Mila Smidt

Mei Suruga is with Miya. Emi Sakura is with Mila.

Mila takes down Miya and grabs her ankle. Miya dropkicks her in the corner twice. Miya euros Mila then low diving euros her for 2. Mila kicks Miya in the arm and bangs her head off of her (Mila's) foot. Mila corner meteora's her then superkicks her for 2.

Mila knee drops Miya's back. Mila does an arm and chinlock to her. Emi chases Mei outside. Miya flying shoulderblocks Mila twice. Miya powerslams her. Emi gets on the apron. Miya is distracted. Mila boots Miya in the gut and fisherman suplexes her. Mei and Emi fight outside then get in the ring and fight. Mila is shocked. Miya rolls up Mila and pins her.

Thoughts: It was short and not that great but they hid their weaknesses and got out before anyone got exposed.

Miya and Emi get hit from behind after and are stomped on. Angel Hayze comes out and saves Mei and Miya. 

Anthony Greene talks to Akki and Mei in the back. His nose is all messed up and he has a facemask on. He says he should be good soon. Jack Morris walks in and Greene is happy to see him. Akki offers a handshake and Jack ridicules Greene for tagging with him. He says Akki is a downgrade. Akki says he can show him what this downgrade can do to him. Jack asks if he's challenging him and Akki says he is. Jack leaves and Greene says Jack is usually a nice guy.

Big Damo is interviewed. He says Neel is a gentle giant. Damo says he's the beast of Belfast and will go through every man alive to become WXM champ. Axel Tischer comes in. He says he needs help and says the Indian's ganged up on him. Axel says he's his friend and brother. Damo chokes him and says he's here for the title, not his drama. Axel says he has changed and he says he's right.

Bobby B is on the phone. Dijak abducts him and pulls him into a room.

Next week's show has Avi vs JD Lee, Samrouf vs Charles Sterling, B2B vs The Sheikdom, Jack Morris vs Baliyan Akki and Zack Sabre Jr. vs Venomous. We are also told there will be a memorial for Raj The Maharaja.

Kaptaan and Guru vs Sha Samuels and Skyler

The heels attack before the bell. Guru and Kap fight back then superkick the heels out. Guru and Kap then hit stereo topes. Guru 2nd rope flying back elbows Skyler. Kap corner lariats Skyler then up kicks him. Kap is on the 2nd rope and is swept down after Sha distracts him. 

Sha hits elbow drops on Kap. Sha hits elbows on Kap's neck then hits mounted punches. Sha bites Kap. Sha chops Kap in the corner. Skyler boots and foot chokes Kap. Kap's head is banged off the steps then Skyler stomps Kap's head into the steps. 

Sha slaps Kap in the corner then corner splashes him. Sha running lariats Kap for 2. Sha armlocks Kap then throws him down backwards. Skyler foot chokes Kap then chinlocks him. Kap hits punches then they double clothesline each other down.

Guru is tagged in. He hits punches and kicks on Skyler. He forearms him down. He then hits shots on Sha as well and drops him with nice forearms. Guru bulldogs Sha for 2. 

Sha hits corner spears on Guru. Sha nails his partner when Guru moves. Guru backdrops him. Sha takes a twisting full nelson drop into a springboard diving ddt. Kap goes for a dive and is sent into the steps. Guru comes off the top and Sha gets his knees up. Sha spinebusters Guru. Sha sits on Guru's back with a cobra clutch and submits him.

Thoughts: It was an okay tag here. Guru showed some nice aggression and hit some hard shots. This got enough time and I had no real issues with it.

Overall thoughts: It was a fun show. This is a Lucha Underground style promotion with great production values and despite being foreign, it's as English friendly as it gets. It's easy to watch and understand, they have a lot of week to week storylines running and this is as good of a show as you can really get. They also have a decent bit of former WWE NXT and WWE NXT UK alumni, so there should be some names you recognize along with a host of new wrestlers. Jiro vs Malik was the best match here. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 and I'd totally recommend it. You gotta see WXM.

Kevin Malik vs Adam Maxted

 

Adam is in the blue and KM is in the black. 

They lock up Adam side headlocks him then shoulders him over. Adam wristlocks him then KM reverses it. Adam side headlocks him. Adam shoulders him over then poses on the buckles. Adam waistlocks him again. They trade side headlocks. Adam knees him in the gut. KM flips over him in the corner then hits armdrags. KM dropkicks him for 2.

Adam Stalls outside. KM jumps over the top and goes for a sunset bomb outside. Adam holds on though. KM sweeps Adam on the apron. KM top rope moonsaults him outside. KM tries to get in and is dropkicked. Adam 2nd rope deadlift superplexes him in for 2.

Adam hits mounted punches then slaps him around. KM hits punches and Adam back elbows him. 
KM escapes a suplex then hits shots and an enzugiri. Adam boots him out of the corner then 2nd rope blockbusters him for 2. Adam boots him in the gut in the corner. They fight in the buckles. KM springboard hurricanrana's him for 2. A masked wrestler is shown in the stands. They trade shots on their knees then get up and trade. 

KM hits chops. Adam is back body dropped. KM hits lariats then samoan drops him. KM hits a standing moonsault senton. Adam goes for another deadlift superplex in but is blocked and enzugiri'd off the ropes. KM does a springboard 450 and Adam gets his knees up. Adam spinebusters him for 2. 

KM is flipped then he hits a snap dragon suplex. Adam then lariats him. KM hits a sitout reverse slam and pins him.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time. It wasn't great but they had the format for a good match and didn't do that bad. I think it could have been a little shorter and a little sped up at times. Kevin's not that bad for being a virtual unknown.

Adam does a promo after. He said he flew 10 hours to India and said the fans turned against him. He asks if it's because he's good looking and in good shape. He says Kevin got lucky. He says he'll be back and says it isn't over. 

Jinder Mahal/Raj The Maharaja comes out. Raj says this is WXM, India's home promotion. He says we will see the best international talent and homegrown Indian talent here. He asks who is excited. He then is interrupted by Sha Samurels.

Sha says the people don't care about Raj. Raj says the people think Sha sucks. Sha says the people came to see him. Sha says he comes from a proper city and country - London, England. Sha comes in the ring. He says Raj talks a big game. He says Raj won't take WXM to the top, it'll be Sha's company.

Raj says we don't have to wait until the main and can do this right now. Sha says, "no". He says he's not dressed to fight but will see him in the main event. Sha teases leaving then hits Raj from behind. Sha then leaves. Raj says he will see him in the main event.

Overall thoughts: They promised us multiple matches here but only gave us one. They then promised another match for the next show. Promising matches that won't happen especially on your first show isn't a good thing. Other than that, I had no issues with this. The production values are excellent and it looks like a big time promotion. The one match we got was fine and got a lot of time. The Raj/Sha segment was acceptable as well. This was an okay 27 minute show but nothing must see.
