Rocky Romero vs Orange Cassidy

 

Rocky clean breaks him and dances. Rocky lays on the ropes then OC does Rocky's dance. OC shotgun dropkicks him then Rocky hurricanrana's him. Rocky topes him then jumps off the steps and hurricanrana's him. OC's back is driven into the apron. Rocky corner lariats OC then OC rolls him up for 2. Rocky backbreakers him.

Rocky takes a tornado ddt then OC topes him into the rails. OC top rope crossbodies him then Rocky suplexes him. Rocky then suplexes him on the apron. We go to PiP break and return. They trade forearms. OC superkicks him then Rocky hits a rewind enzugiri. OC hits an orange punch.

OC does weak boots to him then hits better boots. OC PK's him then Rocky hits a sliced bread for 2. They try pin attempts on each other. OC comes off the top and takes a jumping knee then Rocky tornado ddt's him. Rocky b-drivers him then takes an orange punch. OC hits a beach break and wins it.

It had the usual OC shenanigans though it wasn't as bad as it is sometimes. Not great or anything but it was okay. The two flowed well together and kept it moving. 

Kris Statlander is interviewed. She said her and Willow have been through a lot and there's no hard feelings. Stokeley Hathaway walks in. He said Willow has been telling everyone that she carried Kris and they would have lost without her. Kris doesn't buy it. Stoke said everyone needs to be in a faction in AEW but it doesn't work out long term. Stoke said she should see the Kristin Statlander he sees and implies she's not on the right path. Kris then says Kristin isn't even her name.

Prince Nana is with Brian Cage says its the vanilla gorilla vs Keith Lee. Cage says Santa is bringing him a giant gift in Keith Lee. He says it's better to give than receiver and he's going to give him an @ss kicking. He says he's going to get all of his stuff in and Nana says it's shrimp cocktails for everybody.

The Hardy Boyz vs The Kingdom

Roderick Strong interrupts the intro. He said if OKC doesn't think MJF is the devil then they are stupid. Strong asks a fan his name and says he's stupid. He tells another fan he's stupid too then tells Kingdom to go get 'em.

Matt Hardy hits corner spears on Taven then clubs him. Taven takes a backdrop then is catapuled into the 2nd rope. Jeff then legdrops him. Taven takes a double back elbow then a fist drop + flipping senton. Taven step up enzugiri's Matt Hardy. Mike gets in and drops Matt Hardy with a spinning forearm. Mike goes for a twist of fate but takes a back elbow.

Jeff jumps off his brother's back and splashes Mike in the corner. Jeff goes up top and is crotched. We go to PiP break and return. Matt Hardy hits a side effect on Mike on the apron. Matt Hardy hits lariats on Taven and bangs his head off the buckles. Matt Hardy pulls Taven into a powerbomb for 2. Taven then takes a side effect for 2. Matt Hardy hits a twist of fate on Mike.

Taven slides out and is thrown into the rail then over a table. Jeff hits Mike with a boot. Matt Hardy bangs Mike's head off the steps then fights with the ref over a chair. Taven then rolls him up from behind and wins it while grabbing the tights.

It was average and the brawl at the end of the match was unusual.

Ruby Soho is interviewed. Angelo Parker comes in and says he has been trying to get some alone time with her. He asks Rene to ask him what he wants for christmas. He says he wants to take Ruby out tonight. Saraya walks in. She said she's sorry and says she needs her. She said if it means Parker comes along too, that's okay. Saraya tells Renee and Ruby she has gifts for them. Saraya then tells Parker that Ruby is her friend and he can't have her. Parker says she's hers for now. Saraya says she hates him then tells Ruby she loves him.

Skye Blue vs Queen Aminata

Skye kisses her to start and they trade forearms. Skye hits a forearm flurry then Queen headbutts her. Queen twisting neckbreakers her. Queen is kicked from the apron then Skye facebusters her on the apron.

Queen is thrown into the rails and Jericho said Skye has a new attitude after being sprayed with the poison mist, which apparently took months. Skye piefaces her. Queen chest kicks her then germans her. Queen running hip attacks her in the corner then running boots her.

Skye superkicks her then does a tko into a bad dragon sleeper to win it.

This was a reverse squash where Queen got most of the offense in then Skye ended up winning it. Queen did okay here.

AAA Mega Title Match - El Hijo del Vikingo (c) vs. Black Taurus

BT = Black Taurus, Vik = El Hijo de Vikingo

Vik tries to crawl under his legs then rolls him up. They trade nice armdrags then both hit hurricanrana's. They then do a stand off. Vik pump kicks him then BT spin kicks him. BT then twists his neck with his feet. BT pop-up samoan drops him and we go to PiP break.

We return and Vik springboard dropkicks him. BT blocks a poisonrana and BT goes over the top. BT tornillo's him through the ropes. BT is sent into the post. Vik 619's under the bottom rope outside and kicks him. Vik corkscrew dives on him and BT catches him. Vik then powerslams him on the floor.

Vik walks the top rope and corkscrews him outside. Vik rope walk posionrana's him then crucifix bombs him. BT no sells it and spears him. BT top rope gorilla presses him for 2. BT backbreakers him the ends up hitting a ganso bomb on accident. BT then lariats him after Vik no sells it.

Vik spinning high kicks him then does a toyota roll sunset bomb. Vik meteoras him through the ropes. Vik tries to go up and over in the corner, is caught then spinning canadian destroyers him. Vik top rope 630's him and wins it.

It was indy garbage. Canadian destroyers, ganso bombs, top rope gorilla presses and no selling of any of it. BT was thrown out here randomly without introduction and people were just expected to know who he is and care. It was never explained how he got this title shot either.

Overall thoughts: The main was garbage and the rest of the show was okay. I'd say it was a decent hour of wrestling.
