Cesar Duran welcomed us to the show.

Lucha trios match

Aramis won this one with a spinning torture rack bomb. The official MLW description for this had the wrong wrestlers listed and nobody had any idea who was who. They didn't bother with a graphic either. The fans threw coins in after this one. There was tons of high flying here and they went 100 MPH from start to finish. Not a smart match storytelling wise but it was all action here. Just would have been nice to know who was in it.

Alex Kane was interviewed with his bodyguard. He was attacked by Calvin Tankman in the parking lot and they were discussing whether charges would be dropped or not. Kane said once Tankman recovers, he would get his revenge and started yelling "bom-ba-ye".

We went to Cesar Duran's office where King Muertes came in. They talked about Hammerstone and Paagno tonight. Muertes said Pagano and Hammerstone will be no more after tonight.

We saw some clips of Hammerstone and Duran's history. Duran sent Mantanza after Hammer and Hammer said if it happens again, things won't work out well for Cesar.

Richard Holliday with Alicia Atout vs Psycho Clown

They stalled and played with the crowd early. One of Duran's henchmen took Alicia away and Psycho won with a top rope spanish fly. This was not good at all. It was slow, they played to the crowd half the time and the crowd wasn't mic'd well at all. Psycho and his kid fans celebrated after in the ring.

5150 did a promo on the Von Erich's. They talked about how htey would beat them in the ring and then up the stands.

Bestia 666 is returning and got a small package for it.

We got a Von Erich's vignette where Kevin Von Erich literally looked like Abe Lincoln. Ross and Marshall were training and Kev said they would hit them hard and early. They filmed this outside and the lighting was really bad here.

Holliday went up to Cesar Duran in the back and was looking for Alicia. Duran said he was just protecting her then introduced him to a detective. The detective then said he wanted to talk to him about an incident at the night club the night before. Cesar was clearly behind this and Holliday said he'd be hearing from him.

Apocalypto Match: Alex Hammerstone & Pagano vs. King Muertes & Taurus

They said there would be no rules but the announcers didn't know much else. Taurus speared Pagano over the rails into the first row then Muertes speared Pagano through the chairs once they knocked the rail down. Hammer got whipped with camera cables by Taurus. Pagano got suplexed on the stage by Muertes. Taurus put a plastic garbage can on Hammer's head and Muertes hit it with a chair.

Pagano threw some awful punches here and Muertes took a burning hammer on the plastic trash can from Hammer. Taurus got back body dropped into a large wooden board in the ring. Pagano hit Taurus with an emerald fusion on a chair then Taurus took a powerbomb/sling blade combo. Pagano dove on Taurus through a board outside then Taurus took a death valley driver through another board. Hammerstone then hit the nightmare pendulum on Muertes and won it.

This wasn't good. It was slow. There were lots of bad punches, especially by Pagano. They used cheap weapons and the crowd was dead.

Duran came out after and motioned to take out Hammerstone, then Pagano jumped him. Muertes and Taurus then joined in on beating him up. Hammer was then carried out by Duran's henchmen. Hammer getting turned on by Pagano made no sense at all since they won the match and had no problems during it.

Overall thoughts: Not a good one here. Nobody knew who was in the opening match. The Holliday/Clown match was slow, poorly mic'd and boring. The main wasn't much better with the same issues and very cheap weapons then Hammer getting turned on for no reason. If you wanted more Lucha Underground, this is not it by any means. Everything about this is way worse and I'm pretty sure this is going to be the first and last season of it.
