WWE Main Event Episode #446 4/14/2021

As always, this is a clip show with 2 exclusive matches each week. 

Mansoor vs Akira Tozawa

They flip out of each others wristlocks early and Mansoor does his tiger feint into an armdrag on Tozawa. Mansoor dropkicks him and Tozawa comes back with a release german soon after. Tozawa sentons him for 2.

Mansoor comes back with an atomic drop and spinebuster. Mansoor blocks Tozawa's spin kick then slingshots in with a neckbreaker for the win. It was what it was. Nothing too special or bad and they did put some effort in, but it's a cold match with no storyline or time.

Drew Gulak vs Angel Garza

Garza wipes his boots with Drew's jacket. Garza tried to catch himself off a monkey flip but fell over anyway. Garza takes a hard John Woo dropkick in the corner. Drew then gets stuck on the middle buckle and takes a backcracker.

We go to break and return with Garza pounding on Drew. Garza throws his pants at Drew and hits a hurricanrana for 2, then a superkick to the face. Drew hits a big lariat for 2. Drew catches a Garza superkick and puts him in an ankle lock. Gulak then turns it into an STF and Garza surprisingly got the ropes. Gulak misses a big punch then gets hit with one by Garza. He then gets hit with the wing clipper for the Garza win. It had some okay parts to it but I didn't buy Garza getting out of the STF and I didn't think it was anything too special.

Overall thoughts: As usual, it wasn't anything too special. I didn't particular love either match though it's not like these guys didn't try. It's just hard when you have matches with no crowd, no storyline and no real reason for their existence.
