Tsuruta
長州力&マサ斎藤VS天龍源一郎&ジャンボ鶴田 - 1985年2月5日
I did a podcast on this match in ProWresBlog Episode 1 here:

Saito in the Japan tights, Choshu with the smaller black trunks |
Tenryu is the lighter one and Jumbo is closer to the camera |
This went to a double count out at 16:35 when Jumbo Tsuruta and Masa Saito fought on the floor. The first half of the match was traditional 70's-80's style with them working holds and doing basic things which was fine by me. Then they got to around 18 mins in and just picked up the pace and started clearing out their arsenals with backdrops and lariats and that's when the count out happened. This was two different matches here and it really didn't flow unfortunately. Had they chose one path with a longer drawn out match or just let Choshu sprint through, it would have been better. Instead we ended up with a mish mash of things that didn't really flow together. Jumbo and Saito brawled a bit after the match ended. It was okay but it definitely could have been a classic if they had thought of any transitions to get from the beginning of the match to the end. None of the work was bad, just it didn't flow or have a story to make it work.
