 World of Sport 6/16/1973 - Alan Sarjeant vs Clayton Thomson

Clayton Thomson beat Alan Sarjeant hen Alan Sarjeant was unable to continue. Sarjeant did his backflip counter out of the headlock and apparently hit the rope with his leg going down and hurt himself. They called off the match immediately. A shame as this was a very good technical bout with both guys looking great. Lots of nice counters and submissions here and Sarjeant's Boston Crab counter was very cool. I just wish Sarjeant wouldn't have hurt himself as this was great stuff. I was going in this expecting to be only impressed by Sarjeant but Thomson looked very good too. The match is worth going out of your way to see but it's so hard to rate it when it ended unexpectedly.
