WWE Saturday Morning Slam 3/30/2013 Results and Review

Last week's show is here:

Brodus Clay and Tensai vs The Prime Time Players
These two teams argued over who danced better last week which led to this.
"You can't be a champion until you've defeated a bear." - Daniel Bryan
The finish
The Prime Time players won quickly with a reversal of a suplex with Clay's leg pulled down until Mick Foley came out...
Mick Foley said the ref's decision is final and he wouldn't restart the match. However, he a made a rematch for, right now!

If there is betting somewhere in the SMS universe, someone made a fortune picking the PTP's for the upset over Clay and Tensai.

The Prime Time Players vs Brodus Clay and Tensai
Tensai and Clay won with the double splash. They didn't do too much prior to the finish which is fine with me. It was all Titus and Young stooging and being great.

R-Truth vs Antonio Cesaro
"The front of your hair just screams dazzling." - Josh Mathews
"I'm a big believer that if it doesn't work on a bear, it doesn't work in the ring." - Daniel Bryan
They cut away from R-Truth's stop and gyrate dance and his axe kick.
"There it is! It's the bearhug! This is it Josh! This is it! This is gonna be the end of the match. Holy Cow Josh, it's the bearhug!" - Daniel Bryan
"Imagine doing this to a bear. Holy cow!" - Daniel Bryan
R-Truth won with a surprise reverse STO. This was mostly comedy and cutaways. They cut away from so many moves here. Daniel Bryan went nuts here talking about bears. He flipped out big time and was pretty wild, but it was entertaining. Not too much else besides that with Cesaro getting dizzy and acting goofy off the giant swing. The match was okay, but not serious at all.

Overall thoughts: Cesaro/Truth should be seen for DB going nuts but the first match can be skipped.
