Marigold 11/2/2024 Fantastic Adventure Day 9 Evening Show

Chika comes out to open the show with the announcer.

Naho Yamada vs. Victoria Yuzuki

Yuz = Victoria Yuzuki

Naho sings her song during her entrance as usual. Naho wristlocks her. Yuz rolls through and reverses it. Yuz side headlock takeovers her and Naho headscissors her. They stand off. Naho hits chest forearms. Yuz legsweeps her then basement dropkicks her. Yuz corner dropkicks her. Naho hits chest forearms on Yuz. Yuz chest forearms her back. Naho hits dropkicks.

Naho stunners and headhunters Yuzuki. Naho slams her. They trade chest forearms. Yuz hits chest forearms and knocks Naho down. Naho pulls Yuz over the top rope. Yuz springboard dropkicks her. Yuz northern lights suplexes Naho then they roll each other up. Naho bodyscissors rolls her around for 2. Nao hits a 2nd rope forearm then a pedigree for 2.

Yuz hits hip throws then superkicks her. Yuz rolls her over out of the abdominal stretch and wins.

Thoughts: It was a short and nothing match. It was basically a rookie match here with them doing base stuff for the most part.Yuz is way better (and more pushed) than Naho but they made them look even.

Hummingbird vs. Komomo Minami

KM = Komomo Minami

This looks like a bad idea on paper. KM wristlocks her then Hum reverses it. KM wristlocks her back. Hum uses the ropes to flip out of it. KM side headlocks her then Hum reverses it. Hum side headlock takeovers her and KM headscissors her. Hum headflips out of a headscissors.

KM hair throws Hum then foot chokes her. KM dropkicks Hum on the ropes then slams her. Hum hanging triangles KM over the ropes then Hun dropkicks her. Hum does a wrist-clutch sleeper and KM ropebreaks.

Hum cartwheels off the ropes and dropkicks KM. KM dropkicks her back. KM slams Hum for 2 then armbars her. KM slams Hum for 2. Hum triangles KM then double arm triangles her. KM rolls Hum up for 2 counts. Hum corkscrew kicks KM then hits a top rope splash to win.

Thoughts: I was a bit surprised to see Hum win here. It was a basic match and nothing of note. Nobody embarrassed themselves though so that's a win.

Myla Grace & Nao Ishikawa vs. Bozilla & Nagisa Nozaki

Nao's team offers handshakes and gets attacked for it. Nao is sent into the seats then banged off of them. Boz corner splashes Myla then Myla hits Boz with hcest forearms. Myla hits kicks on Boz and Boz blocks her sunset flip. Myla basement dropkicks her. Nao hits dropkicks on BOz then is forearmed over for it.

Boz misses a corner charge and takes a stunner over the top rope. Nao top rope crossbodies her but is caught and dropped. Boz boots her over then germans her for 2.

Boz blocks a double suplex then takes a double cutter. Boz hits a double lariat. NN gets in and shotgun dropkicks Nao. She then facekicks her in the corner.

Nao pushes Boz into NN then Boz is dropped onto NN. Nao crossbodies NN for 2. Myla dropkicks NN through the ropes. Myla does a sitout twisting underhook drop on NN. Myla sitout slams NN. Boz germans Myla then NN meteora's Myla. NN slepeers her and Nao breaks it up.

NN facekicks Myla while holding her arms for 2. Myla jumping kicks NN.

NN basement dropkicks Myla then dropkicks her for the win.

Thoughts: It was a short and mostly one-sided match with Boz's team winning as expected. 

Mai Sakurai & MIRAI vs. Kizuna Tanaka & Kouki Amarei

The four charge at each other and Mai's team gets the advantage. Mirai hair throws Kiz then snapmares her several times. Mirai holds Kiz for facekicks from Mai. Mirai double axe handles Kiz's arm off the buckles then Mai does the same. Mirai then does it again.

Kiz hits chest forearms on Mai then flying lariats her. Kouki corner facekicks Mai then jumping facekicks her for 2. Kouki hits a double crossbody. Mai and Kouki trade chest forearms. Kouki facekicks her then Mai dropkicks her.

Mai slams Kouki. Mirai corkscrew elbow drops Kouki out of the corner. Kouki hits more facekicks on Mirai then Mirai basement dropkicks her. Mirai back elbows her then Kouki facekicks her. Kouki then knocks her over with a another facekick. Mirai cradle shocks Kouki then Kouki spinebusters Mirai.

Kiz top rope dropkicks Mirai for 2. Kiz armbars Mirai. Mirai then flatliners her. Mirai does a drop on Kiz. Mirai running lariats Kiz for 2. Mirai goes for a TKO and Kiz armbars he ragain. Kouki sleepers Mai at the same time. Kiz northern lights suplexes Mirai. Kiz takes a stunner over the top rope and Mirai backdrops her.

Mai pump kicks Kiz then northern lights suplexes her for 2. Kiz running knees Mai for 2. Mai flying knees her for 2. Kiz hits re:Dream on Mai for 2. Kiz and Kouki take backdrops together then they take a double STO. Mai stf's Kiz and taps her out.

Thoughts: Mirai and Mai got most of the offense in here and the outcome was never really in doubt for this one. It was really in average and not super interesting.

Nanae Takahashi & Utami Hayashishita vs. Miku Aono & Sareee

NT = Nanae Takahashi

NT and Sare test strength. Sare headscissors her then NT gets on top. Saree hits some chest forearms and NT fires bakc. NT side headlock takovers her, Sare headscissors her and they stand off.

NT side headlocks Sare. Are uses the ropes to headlock takeover NT and NT shoulders her over. Utami gets in and stomps on Sare. Utami hits forearms on her. Utami slams Sare then camel clutches her. 

NT bites Sare's elbow then wraps the arm around the ropes and pulls. NT hits chops on her then NT foot chokes her. NT side slams her for 2 then Sare dropkicks her. Miku gets in and hits dropkicks on NT. Miku pushes Utami into NT then slams Utami onto NT. Miku PK's NT for 2.

Miku and NT trade shots. Miku hits leg kicks and NT backdrops her. Utami lariats Miku against the ropes then sliding lariats her. Utami spinebusters Miku. They lariat battle and Miku lariats her over for 2.

Sare top rope dropkicks Utmai then she gets in then nails NT on the apron. Sare and Utami trade forearms. Utami dropkicks her. NT hits mounted forearms on Sare then Sare does the same to her. Utami lariats Sare over then samoan drops her for 2. Utami sleepers Sare and Sare ropebreaks.

Sare suplexes Utami then germans her. Utami no sells it and germans Sare, who also no sells it. Sare germans Utami. NT comes in and hits lariats on Sare. Sare rolls her into a double stomp.

Sare and NT trade chest forearms. NT takes shots from both opponents then is sandwiched with shots. Sare dropkicks NT through the ropes. Sare gets stuck up top and NT superplexes her down. NT and Sare trade pin attempts then Sare double stomps NT. Sare top rope double stomps NT. Utami air raid crashes Sare then NT falcon arrows Sare for 2.

Sare step up enzugiri's NT then NT lariats her over for 2. Sare uranages NT on her neck which looked awful for 2. and the time runs out.

Thoughts: This went to a 15 minute draw. It was a solid match here with everyone hitting good looking shots and moves on each other. The crowd wasn't that good for this and hurt it some. The Sareee vs Nanae sections were good as expeted. I liked this one and would have liked to have seen it gone longer.

Sare takes to Nanae on the mic after and Nanae talks to her on the mic as well. 

Marigold Superfly Title Match - Natsumi Showzuki (c) vs. Misa Matsui

Nat = Natsumi Showzuki

They shove and forearm each other at a high speed. Misa flying headscissors her. Misa runs right into Nat's dropkick. They pull each other by the hair. Nat running forearms her and kicks her in the back outside. Nat's head is banged off a chair then Misa is sent into the post.

Nat armbars Misa and Misa ropebreaks. Nat springboard double knees Misa. They trade forearms on the apron. Misa dropkicks her then top rope planchas her. Misa flying knees her inside then goes for the stretch muffler. However, Nat turns it into an armbar. Misa crossbodies Nat against the bottom rope. Misa fisherman suplexes her at the same time. 

Nat rolls her up then does an octopus on her. Nat armbars Misa, Misa screams and ropebreaks. Misa bridging ddt's Nat for 1. Nat high kicks her and both fall over. They trade forearms on their knees. They get up and trade while holding hands. Nat corner dropkicks and corner meteora's Misa.

Misa rolls Nat into a double stomp. Misa flying double knees her then falcon arrows her for 2. Misa misses a moonsault then Nat rolls her up into a pin and pins her.

Thoughts: The finish was a bit sudden here and didn't really fit the match. I did like the match though. They were aggressive with each other and really went at it. It felt like they actually hated each other. We finally got to see Misa getting some of the spotlight here and I thought she did a good job with it. Maybe it'll convince someone backstage that she could be better used. It wasn't great but it was a good match here with the girls having the right idea.

Nat talks on the mic after and Miku comes out. Miku talks on the mic and they hold their titles up at each other. Nat then closes the show on the mic.

Overall thoughts: It was your usual Marigold show  with a good semi-main and main and a weak undercard. The semi-main was the best thing on here but the main was close. The Bozilla match could have been better but it was too one-sided. Naho vs Yuzuki could have maybe been more impressive as well. I'd give this one a 5 out of 10 and wouldn't recommend it.
