Charlie Dempsey says he doesn't need Die Familie and this match is between him and A-Kid.

Charlie Dempsey vs A-Kid

Dempsey takes him down and they mat wrestle. Dempsey does a great head flip out of a bridge and Kid mat wrestles him down again. Kid bow and arrows him but Dempsey tries for the pin. Dempsey gets monkey flipped and Kid stands on him as he bridges. Dempsey knees him a little low then euro uppercuts him out.

They trade euro's and more submissions then hit hard strikes. Dempsey drops him with euro's and a knee. Dempsey armbars him. Dempsey gets behind him and puts him in a spinning cattle mutilation. Dempsey then perfectplexes him for 2 then dragon suplexes him for another 2. Kid then tiger suplexes him.

Dempsey deadlifts him out of the triangle then kind of alley oops him. Kid gets pushed out of the ring then Raja from his faction puts Kid into the post. Dempsey then does this nasty looking leg and head submission that I've never seen before and wins it.

This went a little long but was a pure technical and old school British style rules match up until the finish. Probably the most technical wrestling match there has been in a while anywhere. Dempsey looked really good here and Kid hung with him.

Sid Scala is going to talk then Wolfgang comnes in. He says he is bringing someone in. He says he wants something to get him to the next level then Sid says he is facing Roderick Strong next week.
We see clips of Isla Dawn attacking Meiko Satomura.

Aleah James is asked who should get the next women's title shot and she wants it. Steve Turner comes in and says she is better than her and tells the camera's off when they focus on her as they didn't want to talk to her before

Symbiosis with Eddie Dennis vs Josh Morrell and Danny Jones

Symbiosis used to be The Hunt and I guess I missed the name change.

Primate hip tosses Josh over then Josh rolls out of another one. Josh gets popped up and dropkicks Primate then hits a nice dropkick on T-Bone's back.

Danny shoulders T-Bone over then Josh double stomps T-Bone's arm off the top rope. Josh slingshots in and gets caught on a backbreaker and gets a fallaway slam. Josh gets picked up by both opponents and pressed down with their feet. T-Bone picks up Josh and slams his chest into the buckles. Primate springboard double axe handles Josh's back then backdrops him.

Josh evades a 3v1 and Danny comes in with euro uppercuts. He lariats him then enzugiri's him. Danny then hits a neat exploder on the left hand side. Josh gets on his shoulders then corkcrews off them onto T-Bone. Josh then takes a big back drop and Primate headbutts him from the top to win.

Mostly a squash but I'm a big fan of Josh and Danny so I liked this one. Both continue to look good as they always do.

Wild Boar then comes in and chairs and attacks Symbiosis. He then goes after Eddie and Eddie is pulled out. Boar was replaced by T-Bone last year when he got injured and it sucked as The Hunt were really good.

The Nina Samuels Show

Nina goes up to Emilia Mckenzie and insults her, then Emilia says she looks like a flamingo. Nina gets mad and that's the end of the show.

Smith, Carter and Mustache Mountain argue backstage. Mustache Mountain is accused of backing out of the title match they promised. They say they should have two singles matches instead so Smith and Carter can earn a tag title shot. I don't like this logic here since singles and tag matches are different things.

NXT UK Heritage Cup - Noam Dar (c) vs Joe Coffey

This is under Heritage Cup Rules - 6 Rounds at 3 Minutes a piece, first person to two falls wins.

Round 1 - Joe throws Dar and they go to the mat. Joe arm throws him and rolls out of a sunset flip. He then cartwheels out of a boston crab. Dar then blocks a crab and the round ends.

Round 2 - Joe headlock takeovers him then does it again. He gets out of a headscissors and does it again. Joe shoulder blocks him and gets kicked in the chest then Joe runs him over with a criss-cross shoulder. Joe hits a nice deadlift release german then flies at him with a headbutt to win the fall.

Round 3 - Joe waistlock takedowns him to start. They trade gut shots then Joe double jump twisting crossbodies him. Dar reverse axe kicks him for 2 then rolls it into a knee bar. Dar hits some kicks from the mat then rolls him up to win the fall and tie it up 1 to 1.

Round 4 - They trade fast shots to start and Dar drops him with a kick. Dar stomps his legs. Joe slingshot shoulders him then belly to belly's him. Joe crabs him and Dar escapes then they trade fists outside to end the round. Dar hits a cheapshot after the bell.

Round 5- Dar charges at him with a dropkick, a pump kick then a lariat for 2. Dar tries it again and Joe rams his head at him and lariats him for 2. Dar hits some shots but Joe just fires up. Joe hits some shots back and spinning lariats him. Sha puts Dar's leg on the ropes on the pin attempt and Mark Coffey chases Sha and lariats him. Joe rolls up Dar for 2 then takes a flying kick for the Noam Dar win at 2 falls to 1.

Simple match here. They really didn't do many moves or big sequences but it was fine enough. They wasted some time and the finishing stretch could have been longer.

Overall thoughts: Another good NXT UK episode. All 3 matches were at least decent with the opener being a strong technical match and the main event being a simple one.
