The Hardy's come out. Matt says it's The Nemeth's worst nightmare as they get their tag title rematch tonight. Jeff says when they beat The Nemeth's, the tag titles belong with them. Matt says Syx doesn't respect them or TNA. Matt says they will put the tag title on the line vs Syx at Bound For Glory when they win the titles. Matt says they will show them that they own them. Jeff tells them to come out and try if they want to kill them.

The Nemeth's come out. Nic says they are the champs while Matt talks about defending the tag titles. Nic says they are talking about Syx but they got ten's staring them down. Ryan says they are the greatest brother tag team of all-time. Ryan says they are too focused on the future and may not even make it to Bound For Flory. Matt tells them to enjoy the last few minutes they have with the titles as the clock is ticking. Matt says they will take the titles. He says Leon Slater will take the TNA Title from Nic too.

Nic says The Hardy's will get a harsh reality check and Leon will learn potential doesn't win titles while being the best does.

Leon Slater comes out. Leon says this is all nonsense from The Nemeth's. He says he and San Antonio can't wait for The Hardy's to win the tag titles. Nic says it's because they are all idiots. Leon says when the tag titles are out of the way, the only thing left is for him to become the youngest TNA champ of all-time. Nic says he's not allowed to touch him or he'd slap the taste out of his head. Leon says  they can't slap each other but he can hit Ryan. Leon says that rule doesn't serve him but serves Nic. Leon says they will learn why he's called the youngest in charge. Leon says he has a strong feeling that The Nemeth's will get deleted tonight.

Zoey Sorrano runs into Allie and Kiera Hogan in the back and they shove each other.

Moose says he's issuing an open challenge at Bound For Glory. He says he's giving anyone a chance to fight the #1 guy here and find out why he's the face of the franchise.

Allie and Kiera Hogan vs Ki Vibez and Alex Gracia

AG and Hogan go at it. Hogan wristlocks her. AG dropkicks her. AG is tripped into the ropes then Hogan hip attacks her on the ropes. Hogan step up legdrops her on the neck for 2. Allie knee lifts AG.

Ki comes in and Allie thesz presses her. Allie corner lariats her and sliding forearms her in the corner for 2. Ki pulls on Allie's neck over the ropes and AG knee lifts Allie for 2.

Thoughts
: It was shorter and acceptable. The jobbers didn't look all that far off the from the champs here. Alex has gotten chances with TNA and AEW but never ends up getting signed. Hogan's hip attacks here looked like they hurt.

Allie says they don't know what Zoey Sorrano's problem is but it seems like she wants to fight. Allie says they are fighting champs. Hogan tells Zoey to find whoever she wants as the titles will be on the line and she plans to kick their @ss.

Kazarian talks to Avery Styles. He says he doesn't want to be #1 in the gauntlet. He tells him not to let any hot heads push him around.

#1 and #20 spot for Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match - Frankie Kazarian, Bear Bronson, Elijah and Trey Miguel vs Brian Myers, Home Town Man, Joe Alonzo and AJ Francis

Brian tags himself in off of Home. Kaz backs up Brian in the corner. Brian side headlocks him. Kaz shoulders him over. Bear and Brian get in at the same time. Bear then chops Trey and throws him in. Brian then pounds on Trey.

We go to break and return. AJ bearhugs Eli. Eli boots him out of the corner. Eli walks the top rope and AJ blocks his canadian destroyer attempt with an alabama slam. AJ hits tennessee whiskey in the corner for 2.

Brian stomps Eli then Joe stomps Eli. Joe springboards into Eli's flying knee. Kaz slams and springboard legdrops Joe. Joe slaps Kaz and gets thrown out. Joe piefaces Avery Styles outside. Kaz then slingshot cutters Joe for 2. A bunch of wrestlers fight and Avery Styles comes in to spiral tap Joe. Kaz gets a 2 count off of it.

Trey hits shots and an enzugiri on AJ. Trey ddt's AJ. Brian superkicks Trey. Everyone then starts hitting a move one person after the other. AJ ends up hitting a big spear on Trey and Joe steals the pin.

Thoughts:
It was acceptable. The format was a bit weird with some odd pairings but they did what they could with it. Joe winning the #20 spot was an upset.

We see The Righteous talking to Harley Hudson. They say she's in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet and want to help her. Harley says she can take care of herself. She asks what happens if it comes down to the 3 of them and Dutch says it would be a good problem to have.

TNA Injury Report

Indi Hartwell suffered multiple injuries last week. She's out...even though she was able to wrestle just fine on NXT 2 days ago. Mila Moore is out. The Hardy's are cleared.

ODB will be inducted in the TNA Hall of Fame.

Order 4 talk in the back around a table. Ali says this is their final meeting and says Santino let them speak under a no-contact rule. Ali says the Order 4-way will happen for the International Title. He says there's no coming back once they cross this line and this is their last chance to fall in line.

Jason says Ali crossed the line with him by harassing his wife and kid. Jason said his daughter told him to hurt Ali and it makes him sick. He says his only regret was putting him in the hospital instead of the grade.

Skyler says he was the most loyal member of Order 4 and says he considered them family. He says he has a new family with Mila Moore. He says Ali is an obnoxious something that gets bleeped out. Skyler turns in his pin.

Tasha Steelz says her and Zero showed how they felt last week. She says f*ck that to all the sacrifices they made to keep him champ. They turn in their pins. Tasha then says f*ck y'all.

Ali calls them swine and pigs. Ali says only their mothers knew who they were before he picked them up off on the ground. Ali says all of them owe him. He says he will end them and destroy what he created now and forever. He says it will always be "In Ali, I Trust".

TNA Knockouts TV Title - M By Elegance (c) vs Elayna Black

M backs her up in the corner and pats her head. M waistlock takedowns her and pats her head again. M side headlock takeovers her. M then slaps her. EB armdrags her and M goes out. EB forearms her inside and flying headscissors her.

EB hurts her ankle on a missed springboard double stomp. M goes out and pulls her out with her. M's hand is banged off the steps then EB stomps her hand on the steps. M suplexes her off the steps.

Thoughts
: They mentioned towards the end that M was trying to run out the time and she successfully did. What we got wasn't bad. There were no real issues. Black didn't lose at least so this can continue. I'd be fine with seeing this again.

Ricky Sosa does a promo. He says he's been seeing Eddie Edwards' name over and over. He says their match at Bound For Glory isn't just another match but the biggest match of his career. He says Eddie has done everything here and is a legend. He says it's his time though and he didn't come this far to lose. He says he came to prove why he belongs in TNA. He says he respects what he has done but it doesn't mean he fears him. He says he will show him why he's the young savage and beat him 1-2-3.

Eddie Edwards does a promo. He says Ricky Sosa is saying the right things but they are just words. Eddie says he will see someone who knows he is a legend here. He asks if he will see someone who knows he belongs here. He says Sosa will need to use every bullet in the chamber to prove he belongs here. He says he better be prepared to put down the veteran saint of TNA.

Fab blocks a code red and is superkicked. Fab pop up tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him. Fab sitout last ride's him and pins him.

Thoughts
: It didn't get enough time to be anything. KC was a little off here and the crowd wasn't into it. It wasn't as bad as I made it sound but it should have been better and longer than it was.

Zoey Sorrano talks on the phone in the back to Shayna Baszler. She says Hogan and Allie called her out and she needs her help. Zoey asks for her help and Shayna says to tell her where and when. Zoey says they will break bones and take the title home with them. Shayna asks if they have limbs and Zoey says they can each take half the limbs and break them.

Thoughts: Shayna's a good wrestler and if TNA can get her to come around regularly, their division will continue to improve.

Indi Hartwell does a video. She said she had a chance to bring the TNA Knockouts Title home last year at Bound For Glory but she failed. She says she failed in front of the Boston fans and her family. She says she embarassed herself in front of them. Xia Brookside said she embarrassed every Knockout in the company. Indi says her failure has just been fuel for her. She says she's been trying to get back all year and will get her chance. Xia says she thinks she did things the right way. Xia says Indi is nothing but a manipulative b!tch. She says she got Daria suspended and used Santino for a title shot. Indi says she's been doing things the right way even with Daria putting roadblocks in her way. Xia says she knows what it takes to be a champ. Indi says Xia is scared and is putting on an act. Indi says she will achieve her dream to win the TNA Knockouts Title. Xia says she's the Knockouts champ and will walk out holding the title and embarrass her once again.

TNA World Tag Team Title Match - The Nemeth's (Nic Nemeth & Ryan Nemeth) (c) vs. The Hardys (Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy)

Leon Slater is on commentary.

Matt wristlocks Ryan. Ryan back elbows Matt then Matt lariats Ryan down. Jeff 2nd rope double axe handles Ryan. Jeff hits more axe handles and low dropkicks him in the back. Nic eye rakes Jeff with his knee.

Jeff back elbows Nic and nails Ryan. Jeff 2nd rope flying double clotheslines The Nemeth's for 2. Jeff hits a twist of fate on Nic. Jeff jumps off Matt's back into a lariat on Nic. Matt hits a side effect on Nic and Jeff 2nd rope splashes Nic for 2.

Nic pounds on Matt. Matt is sent shoulder first into the post. Ryan jumping flatliners Jeff and Nic hits a danger zone on Jeff for 2. Matt hits a twist of fate on Nic then hits one on Ryan. Jeff goes up top and the lights start to flicker. Matt grabs a chair. Jeff top rope swantons Nic. Jeff is supposed to land on Nic's knees but doesn't. Nic then pins Jeff.

Thoughts
: The ending wasn't clean here as Jeff barely hit Nic's knees on the finish. The Hardy's are a little limited nowadays and do the spots they can do. What we got was fine but nothing too memorable. I figured Syx would cost The Hardy's the titles here and they did.

The lights go down and Leon Slater is down. Nic acts like he didn't do it and doesn't know what happened. The lights go out again. Syx then jump The Hardy's in the ring and leave them laying.

Nic holds the title up as Syx stare into the camera's.

Overall thoughts:
The women's tag to start things was short but acceptable. I also thought the 8-man tag was acceptable. M By Elegance vs Elayna was fine. Aichner/Navarro didn't get a lot of time and wasn't that great. The main was fine. This was the go home show for the PPV and it was average. The talent just isn't there and it's hard to hype things up when we probably aren't getting anything great. The show was alright overall and I'd give it a low 6 out of 10 as it made sense and the wrestling was fine as a whole.

EPW Wrestling Unleashed 10/3/2026 Episode #262

EPW Wrestling Unleashed 10/3/2026 Episode #262

We are in Corinth, MS. Gene Jackson and K-Swiss are on commentary.

Hollywood Jimmy talks to Downtown Bruno on the phone in the back. Jimmy says he doesn't want to be one of the commentators. He says he doesn't want to work around Gene Jackson and says he smells like rotten eggs. K-Swiss comes up to Jimmy. Jimmy says he has a job for him everyone wants to do. He says Joey Gross can't be here and K-Swiss can be the announcer for the next 2 weeks. Jimmy then tells Bruno he's got this taken care of.

The hosts talk and say Joey Gross is on vacation.

They lock up. Cone side headlocks him. CJ clean breaks him in the corner. Cone side headlocks him. CJ pulls him by the hair and side headlocks him. CJ shoulders him over. Cone hits armdrags and chops him.

CJ chokes him on the ropes. CJ knees him in the gut and suplexes him for 2. CJ running euros Cone in the corner. CJ corner spears him. CJ half-nelson backbreakers him. CJ ripcords him and Cone backslides him for 2. Cone superkicks CJ.

They trade forearms. Cone slap flurries him. Cone running facekicks him. Cone misses a top rope move. Cone then rolls him up and pins him.

Thoughts: It was acceptable enough. The camera had some issues here and it was a little distracting. CJ could have just moved a little better here at times.

Sara Blake interviews Nyxx. Nyxx says she was mad as hell last time but now knows Raven Black is scared of her. She challenges Raven to a street fight for the title and says they can take it to the streets if she wants to fight like that.

The Order are interviewed in the ring by Allen Pounds. Dorian Vain gets up in Allen's face. Jimmy says the crowd needs to show some respect. He says Dorian Vain is the best and says Eli Knox is the gold standard. He says Elijah Owens is new and says Izzy Rotten is mean and bad. Jimmy says he's sick o the kids running their mouths saying Marko Harris is their favorite wrestler. He says he's sick of hearing about Marko and says he hates Marko's guts.

Eli Knox says he doesn't get why Aaron Roberts/Moses Cain/Marko Harris think they are scared of them. Eli says he's beaten 2 of them himself. Eli says it's the 4 of them vs their 3. Dorian Vain says he hates the fans and says he wants to vomit every time he comes here. He says Aaron Roberts only makes him sicker. Vain says they walk it like they talk it and if you face them, you will go down like Aaron Roberts did. He says he will whoop Aaron and get his EPW Title back. He says that's an executive order.

Dorian Vain vs Xero

DV throws him in the corner and hits back elbows. Xero boots him out of the corner and trips him into the buckles. Xero enzugiri's him and top rope crossbodies him for 1. DV's head is banged off the buckles. Xero is chokeslammed hard in the ring. DV underhook suplexes him.

DV corner splashes him then underhook suplexes him twice. DV misses a corner splash and takes a flying pumping knee. Xero goes up top and Hollywood Jimmy gets on the apron. DV lariats Xero from behind. Xero jawbreakers him. DV knees him in the ribs and cobra clutches him again. Xero trips him into the ropes. DV suplexes him into the ring. DV then cobra clutches him on the mat. Xero is out and DV wins.

Thoughts: It was acceptable. They had some moments that could have been better here. The announcers also hyped up Xero breaking the cobra clutch too much as they didn't think it could be done, then he did it like 3 times straight.

DV puts the cobra clutch on him again after and lets go of it.

Diana Taylor vs Brooklyn Barrett

They lock up. BB side headlocks her a few times. They lock up again and DT side headlocks her twice. DT shoulders her over. DT blocks a hip toss and side slams her for 1. DT knees her in the back. DT running leg lariats her for 1.

DT takes a bad backcracker. BB stomps her and bangs her head off the buckles. BB double stomps her back. BB meteora's her in the front and back in the corner for 2. BB pulls her arms back. BB hits chest forearms and chops in the corner. DT then chops her in the corner. DT powerslams her. DT corner slashes her then samoan drops her for 2.

BB jawbreakers her. BB step up knees her in the corner. BB 2nd rope dropkicks her from behind for 2. DT jawbreakers her then does a bad snapmare driver. DT pins her.

Thoughts:
It was a little below average. There were a couple of spots that could have been cleaner here (including the finish) and it wasn't anything too special. It was nice to see someone different though in Barrett.

The hosts talk.

EPW Tag Titles - The Initiative (Trace Lee Hunt and Jason Genesis) (c) vs Parental Advisory (Hunter Dabbs and Dakota Gage)

Arynanne is with The Initiative.

Dabbs pushes JG in the corner to start. JG nails Gage on the apron then euros Dabbs over. Gage corner spears JG and Dabbs step up enzugiri's JG. JG suplexes Gage then kips up.

Dabbs rolls up JG for 2. JG lariats Dabbs down. Hunt rolls up Dabbs for 2. Hunt double underhook suplexes Dabbs for 2. Dabbs is double chopped down by the heels for 2. Dabbs escapes a double team. He dropkicks Hunt into JG.

Gage tags in and hits chops on Hunt. Hunt eye pokes him. Gage spinebusters Hunt. Arynanne grabs Dabbs from the outside. Gage goes up top and is crotched by Hunt. Gage takes a powerplex. Dabbs then top rope splashes Hunt.

JG and Dabbs trade forearms. Dabbs takes a codebreaker then a german. Hunt gets a 2 count on Dabbs. Chris Styles then runs in and chairs Hunt for the DQ. The Initiative win by DQ.

Thoughts: The match was more on the average side as it had an unsatisfactory finish. It wasn't that bad, just the faces needed more offense in on this and it could have had a few more exciting spots. The finish wasn't random as three times have been feuding.

Dabbs complains and shoves Styles. Gage joins in and Styles yells at them.

Overall thoughts: They weren't at the usual EPW Arena, so the lighting, camera's and audio weren't quite as good as usual. That hurt things as did Joey Gross not being on commentary. The opener was acceptable as was Vain/Xero. The girls' match was a little below average and the main was also average with a bad finish. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 overall. This was below average

IWA Puerto Rico Impacto Total 10/4/2026

IWA Puerto Rico Impacto Total 10/4/2026

CA hits Niche with a chain and pins him.

Thoughts: Big upset here even with cheating. Niche's one of the top faces and got beat by someone much lower in rank. It was average. Niche did what he was supposed to do and Aldea didn't have a bad showing, just he wasn't anything too special.

Ricky Banderas does a promo. He says welcome to his world. He says Nihan stole his title with Savio Vega. He says Nihan will go through the worst nightmare of his life. He says he's coming search of what was stole from him at the next show. He tells him to prove it to him if he's a real champ as he says he will pay the consequences. He says Ricky will then understand that's the IWA champ and he's the dragon and the fire that consumes everything.

Matty Ice does a promo. He says he does all the work and people of PR reap all the benefits and says PR fans have things backwards. He says he's been part of 3 organizations that he wanted to make an impact in. he says the people of Louisville, KY, wanted him to be the man but the machine didn't want it. He says people wanted him to be the man in Houston, TX, but the machine didn't want it and they have been making stupid people famous there too. He says the machine doesn't give him problems here, but the people do. He says no matter how hard he tries to be this generation's Glamour Boy Shane, the people still reject him like Jon Dave Rose rejecting his tags.

He says the people of PR are the most stubborn people on the planet. He says they can't drive and they do what they want to do when people tell them how to fix their problems. He says he would have said PR should be the 51st state, but Cuba would appreciate it more. He then says Greenland should be the 51st state and says it won't be Trump's fault, but their fault. He says he's the top dog and the one true king of PR. He says the people need to learn his name. He says everything they say forward is an old school instinct and spells out C-L-A-S-S-I-C.

Thoughts: It wasn't that good. Rose's offense didn't look good here at all and that hurt this one.

XM hits a bad powerbomb on him after.

Tono Machete and Jose Navarro do a promo at the ranch. Jose says Pupe asked for a deathmatch with him and Jose says Pupe signed his own death sentence. He says he will destroy him and send him straight to hell. He tells Pupe to bring a white candle, say his last rosary and have his family read him a psalm as nothing will stop him from going to hell.

He says Tono's anger at Pupe has to end and he will finish him at the next show. He says he will welcome him to lucha as the ring is his farm and on the farm, he's the boss.

We see clips of Salazar de la Muerte beating Super Atomo for the IWA World Title.

Salazar de la Muerte does a promo. He says he told Atomo and says everyone is surprised. He says he did what others couldn't do. He says Atomo want his rematch and he asks if Atomo is capable of beating him. He says the fans saw he is a failure and he will prove it again.

We see clips of Mr. Iguana and Barbie Boy winning the tag titles. We then see clips of Mr. Iguana vs Pedro Portillo III where Iguana won Pedro's IWA Intercontinental Title.

Pedro Portillo III and Cesar Aldea do a promo. Pedro says Iguana abused his power and turned Cesar's life into a debacle. He says Cesar worked hard. Pedro says Cesar could win a match on 10/17 and have three titles. Cesar says he loves that idea. He says Iguana is an international star but he uses his toys to cheat. Pedro says to relax and says it's over. Pedro says him and Cesar will face Iguana and Barbie Boy on 10/17 for the Tag Titles and the Intercontinental Title.

El Gladiador Boricua vs Jose Navarro

Jon Dave Rose joins Wizard on commentary for this. Tono Machete is with Jose.

They lock up. GB back him up in the corner and Jose complains of a hair pull. They lock up and Jose shoves him in the corner. Jose then pushes him. Jose misses a charge and GB hits punches. GB armdrags him then hiptosses him. GB dropkicks him out.

GB chases him around and inside the ring then Tono trips GB. Jose neckbreakers GB for 2. Jose chokes him with tape  then chokes him on the ropes. Tono punches GB. GB is thrown out and Tono stomps him then throws him in.

Jose drops him with a punch for 2. Jose suplexes him. Jose waves a Puerto Rican flag. Jose hits forearms in the corner. Jose knees him in the gut. GB back elbows him out of the corner. Jose drops him crotch first on the 2nd rope. Jose backcrackers him while he sits on the 2nd rope.

GB flying shoulders him twice then flying lariats him. GB hits another flying lariat for 2. Tono gets on the apron. Jose grabs a bullrope and hits GB with the cowbell on it. Jose then pins him.

Thoughts: It was a very cookie cutter match here and it was simple. The heels cheated, they took minimal bumps and stuck with the heel vs face stuff. It was acceptable, but you couldn't get a lot more generic than this.

Tono and Jose choke GB with the bullrope after and pounds on him. GB is put on Tono's back and Jose helps hang him there. Pupe Jackson comes out and chases the heels away.

Persia Pierce goes looking for La Brava Escobar. She finds her and they all fight in a lunchroom. Various people then break it up.

Savio Vega does a promo. He says he found out that Johnny Cotto came out from the beating he took last time. He says this d@mn dog says he will be at the next show. Vega tells him to be smart and not show up or he will get it 3x worse next time.  He says he will break into the hospital to end his life if he has to. He says it's his company and he will have extra security so Cotto can't come in. He tells him to stay home, wash his sidewalk or roof and don't show up. He says if he comes, he arrives at his own risk and Savio won't take any responsibility. He tells him not to show up. He says he will fire him if he has to.

Overall thoughts: These matches all took place at a free outdoor show. We weren't getting anything too wild here. The opener was average. Rose/Millet wasn't that good and the main was acceptable but very basic. We also got lots of promos as usual. I'd give it a 4 out of 10. It was a little below average with the wrestling being weak.

SN rolls up Miz for 2 then Miz does the same. SN spinning heel kicks him. Kit trips up SN. Miz rolls up SN for 2. Miz facekicks SN down. Kit tries to interfere and Kyoki dropkicks him off the apron. SN kinshasha's Miz and pins him.

Thoughts
: It was fine. They kept things moving. Miz got a lot more offense in than expected and Kit interfered a bit. I didn't expect a ton of out it but it was more entertaining than expected.

Maxxine Dupri vs Andi Summers

This is Andi's WWE TV debut. She's been signed to WWE ID for over a year but never made Evolve or NXT. Austin Theory is with Max.

Max hits Andi from behind and hits knees to the gut. The bell rings and Max hits mounted shots on her. Andi rolls her up twice. Andi la magistral's her for 2. Andi hits kicks and leg lariats her. Andi low dropkicks her from behind and low diving lariats her for 2.

Max knees her in the gut. Austin Theory trips Andi and Max facekicks Andi. Max boots Andi in the corner. Max chokes her on the ropes. Max fisherman suplexes her. Max pumping knees her for 2. Max pulls hers arms back.

Andi upkicks her. Andi hits lariats on her. Andi flying knees her. Andi step up kicks her in the corner and running knees her. Andi 2nd rope moonsaults her for 2. Max high kicks her. Andi rolls her up for 2. Austin gets on the apron and Andi goes for him. Max spinning high kicks Andi then step up legdrops her on the back. Max pins her.

Thoughts
: Andi does a lot of flying knees and various dropkicks. What we got was acceptable. I thought Andi caught Max by surprise with one of the flying knees. Andi didn't wow me or anything. Unless she's a great promo, I don't really see her getting a big push.

Big Cass vs Sean Legacy

SL waistlocks and side headlocks him. SL dropkicks him in the knee then low single leg dropkicks him in the head. SL corner enzugiri's him twice. Cass corner splashes him.

SL is laid on the top rope and Cass clubs him. Cass corner splashes him. Cass hits elbow drops on SL for 1. Cass then stomps him. Cass fallaway slams him. Cass hits chest clubs and chokes him on the ropes. Cass cobra twists him.

Cass running facekicks him and pins him.

Thoughts:
Cass won as expected. It was a bit one-sided here and the result was never in doubt. Sean's skin the cat move where he kicked Cass was nice but he didn't get a whole lot in otherwise. It was a squash.

Overall thoughts:
It was nice to see Miz vs Nakamura that was fine. Andi Summers debuted and her match with Dupri was acceptable. The main was just a squash and not much of note. There was nothing must see here but it was nice to see some stars and a new debut. What we got was acceptable.

EPW Wrestling Unleashed 9/26/2026 Episode #261

EPW Wrestling Unleashed 9/26/2026 Episode #261

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/09/epw-wrestling-unleashed-9192026-episode.html

The next show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/10/epw-wrestling-unleashed-1032026-episode.html

Gene Jackson and Joey Gross are on commentary.

Sara Blake interviews Raven Black. She says nobody cares about Nyxx. She says Nyxx wants more of her. She says she does whatever it takes to win and says since Nyxx wants to go to school so bad, she has a lesson for her.

The hosts hype up the show.

EPW Women's Title - Raven Black (c) vs Nyxx

Nyxx thesz presses her and hits mounted shots. Rav turns it around and they trade mounted shots. Nyx throws her and samoan drops her for 2. Nyxx misses a corner splash and takes punches. Rav lariats her down and legdrops her for 2.

We go to break and return. Rav headbutts her and Rav goes out. Nyxx bangs Rav's head off the apron and hits forearms on her outside. Rav then bangs Nyxx's head off the apron. Nyxx rams her back into the apron edge then Nyxx is sent into the post.

The ref yells at Rav. Rav shoves and punches the ref. Rav is DQ'd.

Thoughts: We didn't get a ton of this before it ended here. It was mostly brawling, though it should have been so they got that right.

Rav grabs a stick at swings it at Nyxx. Nyxx avoids it and bangs Rav's head off the apron. Nyxx grab a chair and officials try to break it up. The girls end up fighting and the official try to break it up. Rav grabs a crutch and officials separate them.

CJ Thomas vs Ty Miller

They talk trash and CJ piefaces him. Ty slaps him. Ty then drop down punches him when he covers up. Ty kips up and dropkicks him. Ty standing ssp's him for 2. Ty corner splashes him and CJ runnin euros him in the corner. CJ corner spears him then does a belly to belly suplex for 2.

CJ suplexes him for 1. CJ chokes him with a headband. Ty hits shots to the gut and CJ chokes him with it again. CJ chokes him while doing push up's.

Ty's head is banged off the buckles. Ty enzugiri's him from the apron. Ty top rope crossbodies him for 2. CJ hits back elbows and half-nelson backbreakers him. CJ short arm lariats him for 2. Ty lariats him and jumping flatliners him for 2. The ref takes CJ's headband from him. CJ then low blows Ty and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a little longer than I expected and I kind of figured CJ would win here as Ty got most of his offense in early. They did kind of lose the pace a little after starting good though. I thought it was average to acceptable and just needed to be sped a up a bit.

The hosts say The Purge is coming on 10/3, which is a Halloween show.

Aaron Roberts and Moses Cain vs The Order (Elijah Owens and Izzy Rotten)

Hollywood Jimmy is with The Order.

Eli runs at MC and is lariated down. MC hits gut shots on him in the corner. MC corner splashes him then lariats him down. MC slams him then gives him a big boot.

MC splashes Eli for 2. MC spinebusters Eli and AR splashes Eli for 2. We go to break and return. AR kind of trips and Eli stomps on AR's injured ankle. Izzy then stands on the ankle as well.

Eli elbow drops the ankle then stomps it. Izzy legdrops the ankle. Izzy elbow drops AR's leg and leg locks him. AR rakes Izzy's face. AR slams Izzy. MC tags in. MC drops Eli with a shot and corner splashes Izzy twice. MC chokeslams Eli.

Izzy eye rakes MC. Hollywood Jimmy tries to give Izzy his cane. Marko Harris comes down and stops Jimmy from doing that. AR corner splashes Izzy. Izzy takes a black hole slam from MC and pins him.

Thoughts: It was an okay tag match here. Cain was an okay face again. The story made sense with the heels working AR's ankle and MC getting the hot tag in to save the match for his team.

Dorian Vain then comes out to argue with the faces from the outside.

Last Man Standing Match - Wonder Boy vs Mike Anthony

They stare down and Mike asks WB if he can do it. WB claymore kicks him to start. WB misses a claymore kick. Mike brainbusters him.

Mike throws crutches and a chair in the ring. Mike chairs WB's back. Mike puts a chair between the buckles and Mike's head is sent into it. WB lariats him over the top rope. WB forearms him outside and bangs Mike's head off the rail.

Mike is in the front row. WB dives on him off the apron and sends him into chairs. WB throws Mike back into ringside. We go to break and return.

Mike drops WB gut first on the rail. Mike clears off the commentary table. Mike clubs WB's back. Mike whips WB over the commentary table. WB is backdropped onto the table. Mike wants the ref to count WB out there but the ref won't. We cut ahead for some reason. WB hits shots on Mike.

Mike suplexes WB on the floor. Mike pins WB under the ring steps. WB gets up and threatens to throw them at Mike. Mike tells him to do it. WB throws the steps and misses. They trade shots in the ring. WB forearms him down. Mike back body drops WB and holds on. Mike talks into the camera and WB claymore kicks him. WB hits another claymore kick. WB then hits a 3rd claymore kick. Mike gets up onto his knees and WB claymore kicks him from behind. Mike can't beat then 10 count up and WB wins.

Thoughts: They sold and it felt like they both took their shares of hard bumps here. They did everything right on paper, just Wonder Boy isn't a real fiery face and it hurt what they were doing a little. I'd love to know what the camera cut was for. I imagine it was just some kind of technical issue, but the possibilities really are endless. They ran with the story here of Mike trying to get Wonder Boy to get mean. Mike egged him on all match and Wonder Boy was a little more cut throat than usual. The pace could have been a little faster at times here, but these types of matches are a bit slower by design. It was an okay main and they did put some thought into this.

Overall thoughts: There wasn't much to the opener. CJ Thomas vs Ty Miler was acceptable. I thought Moses Cain's tag was an okay bout and they did a good job of selling AR's injured ankle. The main was okay. They roughed each other up some and did check most of the boxes their match should have checked. It was okay but not quite the classic they designed. I'd give it a 6 out of 10. It was a good show overall.

CHIKARA 5/1/2020 Action Arcade #6

CHIKARA 5/1/2020 Action Arcade #6

Razerhawk does a promo. He says Dasher Hatfield pinned Dangerhawk 2 weeks ago and says he's at a loss for words. He says he can't do this and he hates interviews. He says everything he hates about these interviews is what he hates about Dasher. He says Dasher only cares about himself and not the young talent. He says his niece blinded him and says this match will be an asterisk when he pins the champ and wins the belt.

Cabana Man Dan vs Terry Zeller

Dan trips him and goes for a pin. Dan backslides him for 2. Dan goes up and over. Dan knees him in the face and russian legsweeps him for 2. Dan is rammed in to the corner. Dan rolls into an STO on him for 2.

Dan lariats him down then leg lariats him.Dan drops him on his butt then double mule kicks him for 2. Dan is tripped into the bottom buckle and goes out. They each grab one of Dan's flip flops. Dan chops Terry with it then spanks him with it. Dan bottom rope sunset flips him and pins him.

Thoughts
: I didn't like it so much. Dan should have been DQ'd for using the flip flop. It wasn't real serious either.

Special Report: Cibernetico

Ophidian does a promo. He says he wants Devontez on his team as the anchor for the cibernetico. Mike Quackenbush says Devontez is a fine anchor and he is choosing Zero as his anchor.

Boomer Hatfield does a promo. He says he wants to take his 38 cents and buy gum, but he says Sonny DeFarge needs it to buy soap or socks. He says Sonny mentioned his dad and he needs to step far away or they will have a real problem.

We get a fake ad for an ice cream bar.

Various wrestlers talk about who inspired them.

We get a video on The Young Lions Cup.

Young Lions Cup XVI First Round Four Way Elimination Match - Donna Rama vs. ZERO vs. Noah Striker vs. Oswald Project

They say Project is only 40 months old.

Rama dropkicks OP and spin kicks the others. Rama throws OP into Zero and Zero powerbombs OP. Rama then spears Noah. Rama pump kicks Zero. OP takes a backstabber then OP is curbstomped. OP gets german'd by Rama then takes a backdrop from her.

Rama backdrops Zero. Rama slips as he lifts Zero. Noah and Rama trade shots. Rama germans Noah. Noah step up enzugiri's Rama and the guys dogpile pin Rama. Rama is eliminated.

Noah boots OP and sends him out. Noah hits leg kicks and a low dropkick on Zero for 2. Noah and Zero trade shots. Zero goes to slam OP but Zero puts him down. Noah monkey flips Zero into an armbar. Zero sitout bombs him to break it up.

Zero takes his tie off and lariats Noah hard from behind. Zero suplexes Noah for 2. Noah boots Zero out of the corner. Noah drops Zero off the 2nd rope with a headbutt. Noah top rope splashes Zero for 2.

Zero gutwrench tilt-a-whirl drops Noah for 2. Zero tags in OP, despite this not being a tag match. OP forward handspring splashes Noah and does a split-legged powerbomb on him. OP then cartwheel standing moonsaults Noah. Zero shining wizard's Noah and pins him.

OP goes to high five Zero. Zero michinoku drivers him on his chest. Zero then pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like this one. I couldn't buy Rama beating up all the guys. OP acts like he's special needs and it's a shame because he's actually quite athletic. Zero hit a nasty lariat from behind here.

The Scoreboard

Note - You need to have 3 points to get a title shot, so this is like a rankings update.

Cabana Man Dan has 1 point and joins Sonny DeFarge, Boomer Hatfield and The Spoiler. The Spoiler says he's on the board and talks about possible opponents. He writes them all off and makes raspberry sounds as he names them.

Matt Makowski, Ophidian and The Whisper are also on the scoreboard. The Whisper says he keeps hearing people question him about how he could be with The Crucible. He says everything he does is with calculated precision. He says this is only the beginning. He says he learned that superiority sometimes gets the better of you.

Lucas Calhoun has 2 points and is on top of the scoreboard. He does a promo. He says he heard Travis Huckabee say he would get run over. He shows off his medal signifying his 2 points. He says he thinks the 3rd point will be the easiest to get. He says he has all the moment going forward and with one more point, it's Grand Championship time.

Ophidian does a promo. He says he's on a path to the Grand Championship and no one can stop him. He says failure won't be tolerated and doing so again will result in dire consequences.

Crucible Rules Match - Tunku Amir vs. Bobby Perez

There's no ropes for this match. It's 2 minutes long and it's knockout, submission or ringout rules.

Amir dropkicks BP to start. BP hits bad shots and is taken down. Amir double stomps BP's back. Amir slams him and legdrops him. Amir backdrops him and throws him on a side slam. Amir spears him and bangs his face off the mat multiple the times. The ref calls it a knockout. Amir wins via knockout.

Thoughts: It wasn't good. Almost everything they did looked like play wrestling here.

Event Center

Green Ant does a video. He says he's not the first Green Ant to wrestle in Chikara. He says he pressed the right people and they thought he had enough drive and heart. He says his success in training didn't translate to the main roster. He says he never had a Grand Championship shot and lost in the opening round of The Young Lions Cup. He says if he can win The Young Lions Cup this year, he might not be the right ant for this job.

Sonny DeFarge does a promo. He asks what Boomer has done.

Masked Enforcer #2 does a promo. He says we may not know who he is. He says they may think he's the guy who screams at The Spoiler and gets thrown out. He says he is the Masked Enforce #2. He says it's been a while since he's been in the ring. He says he doesn't like The Spoiler billing himself as The Spoiler. He says he won't steal someone else's good name. He says he doesn't like The Spoiler, but he learned to respect him. He says nothing gets him madder than disrespect. He says he's coming after The Spoiler. He says he will learn respect.

Dasher Hatfield does a video. He says wrestling for the people got him nowhere and he accomplished more wrestling for himself. We then see clips of his recent activity.

Dasher Hatfield vs. Razerhawk

Dasher side headlocks him. Razer reverses it. Dasher blocks a springboard diving armdrag and stomps Razer. Razer armdrags him then flying headscissors him. Dasher facekicks him down. Razer then kips up.

Razer hits chops and kicks. Razer flying headscissors him. Razer topes him outside. Razer dropkicks him in the knee. Dasher hits him on a 619 attempt. Dasher fisherman busters him for 2. Dasher back body drops Razer for 2.

Dasher full nelson's him. Razer hits back elbows. Dasher baseball slides him in the back of the head for 2. Dasher back body drops him for 2. Razer hits chops on him. Razer walks up the buckles and is swept up top. Razer takes a gori bomb into the buckles for 2.

Razer flips out of a back body drop. Razer hurricanrana's him. Razer 619's him. Razer springboard crossbodies him. Razer top rope dropkicks him. Razer top rope diving ddt's him for 2. Razer sunset flips him for 2. Razer misses a top rope swanton. Dasher ddt's him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was the best match on here but that doesn't say that much. The action was fine here and they kept it moving. Razer did a decent job flying and Dasher acted as the base for him. That wasn't bad.

A masked wrestler covered in blood then talks. He says it's time to live his dream. He then shows off a newer costume.

Overall thoughts: This was terrible. Everyone on this show came off like they were special needs and everything they did this felt like an ironic callback to comics or 80's WWF. I'm sure everything here made sense to someone and I'm sure a lot of thought was put into it, but if you hadn't watched for years, you would not understand it...nor would you care to.

And it's a shame. This was well produced. They had nice graphics and a nice set. All the Chess pieces were aligned neatly on the board...but it was a Scrabble board, not a Chess board. This was way too meta and no one on this has any business doing wrestling. I'd give this 2 out of 10. They totally missed the forest for its trees here. The main was the only thing that really resembled an acceptable match here.

WWE Evolve 10/7/2026

WWE Evolve 10/7/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/10/wwe-evolve-9302026.html

Note - WWE Main Event is moving to Wednesdays at 8PM which is the same time this show airs. I have to think they will be moving this show too.

We are at the Performance Center in Orlando, FL. Robert Stone and Blake Howard are on commentary.

Harlem Lewis talks outside the Performance Center. He says Harley Riggins is one week away from the big dance. He says he will hold the title one day, but after he's done.

Harley Riggins says he will see him tonight and says his dream of taking the Evolve Title dies next week. He says he's "The Big Rig" and he'll cool him off and take the title.

The hosts talk outside the ring.

Marcus Mathers comes out to talk. He says if he has something to say, he will say it. He says he's sick of being the good indy wrestler waiting for an opportunity. He says Cutler James injured Sam Halloway and says Elijah Holyfield knocked him out for no reason. He says he's not scared of him, Cutler James or Darkstate. Cutler James then comes out.

Marcus Mathers vs Cutler James

CJ misses a pump kick and takes chops. MM flying forearms him. MM dropkicks him. MM misses a corner attack. CJ side headlock takeovers him. Braxton Cole arrives in the VIP Lounge. MM headscissors CJ on the mat.

CJ shoulders MM over and side headlock takeovers him. CJ chinlocks him. MM running facekicks him. CJ spears him. CJ then does a hanging stretch muffler. MM upkicks him. MM 2nd rope dropkicks him. MM is caught off the 2nd rope. CJ spinning throws him out of the ring.

We go to break and return. CJ boots him in the leg. MM chops him then ges dropped onto both knees. CJ misses a corner attack. MM spin kicks him then code red's him for 2.  CJ boots him. MM spinning ddt's him. MM os cutters him. MM sends him out of the ring.

MM PK's him from the apron. MM 2nd rope moonsaults him outside. Braxton Cole jumps the rail and yells at MM. Elijah Holyfield then chases after Cole. MM is caught on a moonsault and CJ whirlybird's him. CJ pins him.

Thoughts:
It was acceptable. CJ threw him around and MM threw him around. Holyfield chasing Cole was a bit random here. CJ's found his role as a power guy...and it took long enough.

Veronica Haven vs Anya Rune

Both of these girls are gone from WWE already.

Haven takes her down and cutters her. Haven running knees her for 2. Haven pulls AR's arms back. AR forearms her. AR running euros her in the corner. AR low diving forearms her. AR then does a hadouken (with special graphics). AR then pushes her down from the reverse ddt position and pins her.

Thoughts
: It was a bit hard to get into it since both girls are fired and this means nothing. They didn't get a ton of time and a lot of the talk was about Anya's anime powers.

Sloane Jacobs and Nikkita Lyons then jump Rune. Lyons hits mounted shots on her. Lyons grabs a trash can and dumps it on her head. Lyons then spin kicks the trash can while it's on Rune's head.

Lyons then gets on the mic. She agrees to a last woman standing match with Wendy Choo. She says she will stand over her body and shake her @ss.

PJ Vasa, who is also now fired, then looks at the tv in the back and says, "try it with me".

AJ styles talks to Nathan Frazer and Conan Lycan. AJ tells Conan he's being offered a WWE ID contract. Conan says let's do it and he's ready to go. Conan says he's been dreaming about this and he's ready to kick the door in. He says Evolve has made 3 champs in NXT and he will be the 4th.

Thoughts: I saw Conan on TNA Xplosion once and thought he looked like a prospect. WWE apparently agrees.

The Mog Squad talk in the back. CJ Valor says he's not skipping arm day for a match Max shouldn't have to do. Max says it doesn't matter who he will wrestler tonight as he will MME max, life max and win max. He says Thatcher thinks he owns them but they own Thatcher.

Cappuccino Jones is interviewed by the now fired Adriana Rizzo. Jones says his mystery opponent doesn't matter as when he is clear, he is putting pressure on The Mog Squad. He says he's not cleared to wrestle yet but says the clock is kicking. He says when he is cleared, he's calling Chazz Hall as he wants Santi and Jacari Ball.

Aaron Rourke vs Kale Dixon

Alix Brooks is with Kale Dixon.

KD lariats him then slams him twice. AR rams him in the corner and hits corner spears. KD euros him and AR superkicks him. AR hits running euros in the corner. Alix trips AR and KD nails AR from behind. Alix then chokes AR with a towel. The ref sees it and Kale is DQ'd.

Thoughts: It was very short and we didn't get much before it ended.

Kale chairs AR after.

Wendy Choo, who is also now fired, does a sit down interview with Blake Howard. Choo says she thought she would accomplish more as champ. She says it was all taken away when she was getting going. She says she's not mad about losing the title, just mad at how she lost it. She says Lyons stole the title from her and didn't have the strength to beat her with integrity. She says that's why she haunts her. She says she will play fire with fire and said Lyons forgot about her being in various gimmick matches. She says she will take what's hers.

Laynie Luck does a video. She says she's excited to be on Evolve. She says she wrestled at rundown bars and shows at fairs. Vanta The Unknown talks but it's hard to hear what she's saying. She says Luck will fight the clock and the clock has never lost.

The Mog Squad talks in the back. Max says he doesn't know if he can wrestle and says his doctor told him he should take some time off. He then gets CJ Valor to take the match instead.

CJ Valor vs Jasper Troy

Troy is the mystery opponent here. As you may have guessed...he has also been fired recently.

CJ ducks a lock up and hides between the ropes. CJ shoves him from behind. JT short arm shoulderblocks him. JT elbows his arm. JT lifts him up by one arm and puts him down. JT splashes him for 2. CJ clips him then boots him in the head.

CJ foot chokes him in the corner. CJ hits punches on him. JT shoulders him over. CJ double boots him out of the corner. JT swinging uranage's him. CJ dropkicks him outside. CJ flying shoulders him off the apron.

We go to break and return. JT gets booted as he comes in. CJ stomps him and elbow drops him. CJ flying shoulders him and hits mounted shots on him. JT then hits mounted shots. JT hiptosses him then hits double sledgehammer shots. JT corner splashes him then powerslams him for 2.

CJ goes for an armbar and JT tries a pin on him. CJ eye rakes him then hits a chaos theory on him. CJ running spears him for 2. JT sitout chokeslams him. JT black hole slams him and pins him.

Thoughts: I didn't like it that much. Troy was too big for CJ and CJ couldn't do good looking offense on him. It lead to some clunky and slow moments. It also went a little longer than it needed to.

Aaron Rourke talks in the back. He says he hopes it wasn't Kale Dixon's best shot as he won't survive the hell he rains down on him.

Harlem Lewis and Harley Riggins then fight into the arena. HR takes him down. Guards try to stop it and get beaten up. They fight in the ring. Riggins low blows Lewis. He then lifts him into a knee to the face. Riggins then holds Lewis' title up as refs try to stop him..

Overall thoughts: Mathers/Cutler was the best match on here. Anya Rune's and Kale Dixon's matches were too short to be much. CJ Valor's match with Jasper Troy wasn't that good either as Troy was too big for CJ. It was a tough show to get into as half the people on it are already fired, so little really mattered here. I didn't think they did a good job of building up Succession at all here either. I'd give this a 4 out of 10. It wasn't that good overall.

WWE NXT 10/6/2026

WWE NXT 10/6/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/09/wwe-nxt-9292026.html

We are in the Performance Center in Orlando, FL. Vic Joseph and Booker T are on commentary.

We get a new intro song for the show and it's awful.

The Birthright talk backstage. Grace says they will take over every division. King says he will handle the Zilla Fatu problem. He says he told him your with us or against us and he will live with his choice.

Zilla Fatu talks. He says he's not worried about his last name. He says he will be called the main one when he whips his opponent's @ss.

Zilla Fatu vs Lexis King

Fatu knocks King over as he enters. Kign's head is banged off the apron. Fatu chops him. They go in and Fatu lariats him. Fatu corner splashes him then misses a corner splash. King corner chops him. Fatu blocks his trip attempt then spinning heel kicks him.

Fatu forearms King down. Fatu lariats him and hits mounted corner headbutts. King's Birthright buddies pull him out. Fatu then top rope plancha's them all. Fatu goes to get in and the heels trip him and distract the ref. King kicks the middle rope into Fatu's crotch then dropkicks him through the ropes.

We go to PiP break and return. King pulls Fatu's throat down over the top rope. King top rope diving blockbusters him for 2. King sleepers him. Fatu misses a legdrop. King hits chest kicks. Fatu pop-up samoan drops him.

Fatu hits lariats on King. King hangs off the top rope and Fatu flying headbutts him. Birthright gets on the apron. Fatu nails one of them then throws Stacks in and lariats him out. Dempsey is knocked off the apron. King superkicks Fatu and Fatu no sells it. Fatu twisting half-nelson drops him. Fatu flying samoan spikes him and pins him.

Thoughts: It was acceptable. The heels cheated and Fatu fought through it and won. It was nothing groundbreaking but it made enough sense.

Fatu gets jumped by Birthright after. Dempsey hits Fatu in the gut and back with a chair. Fatu is sent into the steps. Fatu then has the top step dropped on his hand while his hand is against the bottom step. Refs then come to check on his hand.

Kelani Jordan is interviewed. She says there's 20 women desperate to prove they belong in the ring with her. Chantel Monroe interrupts. She says she will prove she is 1 of 1 when she takes her title. Layla Diggs then comes in. She says she won her title shot and then got injured and lost it. Diggs says she will win the battle royal. KJ says there will be a moment made but it will be made by her.

Dion Lennox does a video. He says Cruz Montana's story is powerful and he can see why people like him as he spoke from the heart. He says Cruz bailed himself through a situation he put himself in and he's not impressed. Dion says he used his past to build a machine that never runs out of gas. He says he wasn't dealt a better hand but built a better life. He says his parent gave him the tools to succeed. Dion says living up to expectations and making the right decision is right. He says sometimes he wanted to party and be a loser like him but he didn't. He says Cruz is being patted on the bat for finally making the right decision. He says his story doesn't bring people to tears like his. He says it took him 2 years to get to NXT and it took Cruz 20. He says Cruz beat his addiction but didn't beat him. He says he will send him to a dark place and see if he can pull himself out of the hole again.

Thoughts: Dion's segments have been good, though they are not exactly segments you'd boo the heel for.

Cruz Montana and Lizzy Rain talk. Cruz says Rain has a big opportunity tonight and tells him to show it down. Xia Brookside walks in and asks if he's supporting her. She says he has really changed. Cruz says, "I've changed?".

Thoughts
: I liked it and it was a good match. Ash and Zanov had their best showing yet. It was a hoss match here. Hank and Tank were on fire and set up a nice pace. It was full of action and made everyone look good.

Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux are down in the back and Birthright has attacked them. They say if you mess with Birthright, they will leave their mark.

Grayson Waller comes out to talk. GW says he's still the champ and says last week was what he wanted and needed. He says the old GW would have freaked out but he buried that brother with the boxing shorts and Hawaiian shirts. He says he fights for titles now. He says he knows Stone was trying to get him to freak out with the open challenge but that's why he's back here. He says EK Prosper came out first for the open challenge so he fought him.

GW says EK crushed it in his first match. He says he got The Grayson Waller Rub and he's welcome. He says EK will hold the title one day but as long as it's around his waist, there isn't a man who can take it from him. He says he wants to restore the importance of the NXT Title. He ask who will step up next.

Myles Borne comes out. He says he's doing what's best for him. He says he deserves to be a champ and will go after the one title he hasn't held yet without the dead weight of Tavion. He says what he did to Tavion shows what he's capable of. He says he learned the only way to the top is to be selfish and unbreakable like GW. GW says finally someone is listening to him and it's what he likes to see.

Tony D'Angelo comes out. He says Myles can take his new attitude and test it on someone else and he has unfinished business. Waller says he didn't come out last week and where was he? Tony says GW didn't change and would have complained if he came out. Borne says this isn't about him and Tony tells him he's talking now. Tony says GW has his title and he takes it personally. GW says Tony and Borne should fight and the winner can get The Grayson Waller Rub.  Borne gets up in GW's face and punches out Tony with what they say was a loaded fist.

William Regal talks to EK Prosper. Regal asks why he's down. EK says he stepped up to Waller last week and fumbled. Regal says he has SD/Raw superstar and world champ written on him. Regal tells him not to put himself down.

Robert Stone walks past and Regal talks to him. Stone says he's now scrambling to get replacements for DVD and Sean Legacy. Regal says no one knows more about that him. Regal says King and Dempsey were never put in the tournament. Regal puts his hand on him and says sometimes you have to make quick decisions. He says he doesn't see how he has anyone but King and Dempsey. Stone agrees and Regal says he knew he was the right man for the job.

Naraku vs Shiloh Hill

They lock up and let go. Nar knees him in the gut and tries to throw him out but Hill skins the cat in. Hill slams him twice. Hill side headlock takeovers him. Nar headscissors him and Hill side headlocks him. Hill flying shoulders him.

Nar backdrops Hill. Nar neckbreakers him for 2. Nar side headlocks him. Nar throws Hill down backwards. Nar running forearms him. Hill tiger feint forearms him under the bottom rope outside. Hill takes a stun gun then twisting facebuster on the mat. Nar headbutts him, back elbows him and sentons him for 2. Nar crossfaces him then catapults him throat first into the bottom rope. Nar hits darkness falls for 2.

Hill hits shots on Nar and running boots him. Hill pop up drops him then hits mounted shots. Hill standing inverted flip dives him for 2. Nar tries to mist him and is blocked. Hill then ducks and Nar mists the ref. The ref DQ's Nar.

Thoughts: It was slightly acceptable. They didn't do anything wrong but it wasn't anything too great work wise. It was better than it could have been.

People come out to break the fight up after and the ref is checked on.

Kendal Grey talks to the psychologist again. She says she should be in the battle royal tonight and blames herself for the injury. She says she injured herself vs Lola and fought Kelani when injured. Grey says all she can ever think about is the one time she does something wrong. She says people don't see her sitting alone and analyzing mistakes.  She says you stop learning how to celebrate and be proud of yourself. She says she's her own biggest opponent. She said she thought she would hate these therapy sessions but she doesn't. The psychologist says this is a good place to stop with these and says his door is always open.

Thoughts: I haven't liked these segments and I hope this is the last one. There aren't working.

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round - Birthright (Lexis King and Charlie Dempsey) vs Tokyo Bad Boys (Kento and Takuma)

Kento dragon screws CD. Takuma springboard diving lariats CD. Takuma standing spanish flies CD. Takuma springboard 450's CD for 2. Takuma knocks CD off the apron. Kento spears King off the apron. CD top rope double underhook suplexes Takuma. Takuma is sent into the post shoulder first then CD cradle backdrops Takuma. CD pins Takuma.

Thoughts: I liked this a lot more than I thought. Takuma got some shine here to get over and he did. This worked out well and definitely was a success. Tokyo Bad Boys needed to show up big here and they did. This was good.

CD gets on Vic Joseph's mic after and says everyone will realize you don't step up to Birthright.

Myles Borne is in the back and says he's just leveling up to where he belongs. He says he will take out Tony then he will see Waller for the NXT Title.

NXT Women's Title #1 Contender's Battle Royal

Everyone fights to start. La Catalina ends up on the apron from M By Elegance. Izzi Dame throws Layla Diggs. I don't know if Diggs was supposed to go out as she was trying to skin the cat. Zaria throws Izzi Dame out right after.  Officials/Guard try to remove Dame but she beats them up. Dame is carried out.

Skylar Rae is laid on the top rope by Reina Volcan. Adelicious stops that, but Vic Joseph messes up and thinks she's Lady Shani. Ade and Sky's heads are banged together. Thea Hail tries to dump Kiana James over the top. Ade headscissors Sky on the apron. Reina Volcan double lariats both.

We go to break and return. Reina gorilla presses Heather By Elegance. Ivy Nile sent Chantel Monroe out during the break. Arianna Grace forearms Reina in the back. Grace tries to hug M and Heather By Elegance. She wants to work with them but they dump her out. Thea then sends both M and Heather By Elegance out. Thea dances.

Thea boots Diggs. Lizzy Rain chops Nikita Lyons and Zaria in the corner. Rain suplexes Zaria. Rain pulls Lyons' leg down over the bottom rope. Reina throws a group of girls off of her. Rain tries to german Ivy off the apron. Rain headbutts Ivy off the apron. Reina is group eliminated.

Reina powerslams Ade on the floor. We go to PiP break and return. Rain springboard back elbows Zaria. Zaria throws Rain over the top. Zaria spinning lariats Kiana. Zaria and Indi Hartwell bump into each other. They both hit pump kicks and stare down. Zaria hits a double spear on Thea and Xia Brookside. Zaria F-5's La Catalina. Izzi Dame comes back in, goes after Zaria and is thrown out again.

Zaria is on the ropes yelling at Izzi. Kali Armstrong sends Zaria out. Zaria and Izzi fight outside. Xia boots Indi out of the corner. Indi throws Xia out. Xia then grabs her by the hair and pulls her out. Those two fight outside.

The final 5 are Kiana, Thea, Kali, La Catalina and Lizzy Rain. Kiana and Thea fight on the apron. Kiana knocks Thea off the apron for the elimination. Kali spinebusters Rain. Catalina top rope double dropkicks Kiana and Kali. Catalina hits corner hip attacks on 3 girls. Kali dumps Cat to the apron and Cat seems to get eliminated when she's not supposed to.

Kiana corner spears Kali and Rain flying headbutts Kiana. Kali powerslams Rain. Kali spears Kiana off the apron. Rain cutters Kali. Rain and Kali end up hanging from the top rope when Rain lariats her. Rain pulls Kali's head into the post. Rain runs at her with a headbutt but Kali knees her in the face. Lady Shani then comes in and throws out Kali...but it's Wren Sinclair under the mask. Wren then wins.

Thoughts: There was a very big screw up here. Adelicious was in the battle royal, not Lady Shani. Vic Joseph kept calling her Lady Shani. That was bad on its own, but what was a bigger problem was that the finish had "Lady Shani" throw Kali Armstrong out to win. The problem was that Shani was just Wren Sinclair in disguise (Wren Sinclair was suspended so she couldn't be in this). I think at least 2 girls here got eliminated on accident with La Catalina being one of them. It was cool to see all the girls from different brands go at it, but it was a battle royal so the quality was limited and they messed up the finish. That brought this down.

Kelani Jordan is on the riser and Wren stares her down after.

Overall thoughts: King/Fatu was acceptable. Hank and Tank's tag match was good. Hill/Naraku was acceptable. Birthright vs Tokyo Bad Boys was also good with Takuma standing out. It was nice to see various outsiders in the battle royal and it made it feel more important. But there were some sloppy moments there and Vic Joseph made some major commentary errors during this as he confused Adelicious and Lady Shani. Waller had a good night here in his segments. I'll give the show a 7 out of 10 as it was a good show overall.

Wilfredo Rivera does a promo. He says our biggest defeats teach us the most important lessons. He says he learned a lot from the last event. He says everything he learned in his match with Bryan made him better. He says he's still a winner in his mind. He says at Aguadilla Mania, he will face Lou Forza, who he considers a winner. Orly Jr. says he knows Informante's weaknesses. He says Info thinks he can do whatever he wants in Aguadilla, but that's not the case. He says he's ready. Tapia then then talks and says he wants Brandon The Skater to bring it all and says they don't back down.

Amaddeo Sole does a promo. He says the competition is coming in the tag division and he's been seeking it. He says him and Forza are the only two names he thinks of when talking about the tag division. He says his match against John Hawking at Aguadilla Mania is a good test for John as John has had setbacks in various losses lately. He says they will face off in Aguadilla for the first time. The mayor of Aguadilla invites us to Aguadilla Mania.

We return from break.

Bryan misses a corner charge and Wil corner splashes him twice. Wil hits mounted corner punches. Wil superkicks him in the gut then hits a snapmare driver. Wil misses a top rope splash.

Bryan michinoku drivers him for 2. Bryan slaps him around. Wil hits him in the gut then he cutters him. Wil superkicks him in the face then cutters him. Wil top rope splashes Bryan. Wil hits another top rope splash for 2. Wil goes up top and Bryan pushes the ref into the ropes, crotching Wil.

Bryan hits punches on Wil. Bryan top rope hurricanrana's him down. Wil rolls up Bryan for 2. Bryan flips him with a running lariat. Bryan AA's him and pins him.

Thoughts: I wasn't too surprised to see Bryan win this. He has lost a bunch of matches and needed something to gain some relevancy at some point and this happened to be it. The title is a low on the totem pole for him, but it's better than nothing. This was average for the most part and Bryan moved a little slow at times.

"La Amenaza" Bryan does a promo. He says it's 1v1 vs Xavant and that's how he likes it. He says few people annoy him in this business but he's one of them. He says he sees his fat face and disgusting cheeks and wants to knock out some of his teeth. He asks what kind of hero he is and says he's the hero nobody asked for. He says nobody likes him or appreciates him and it's time for him to stop with the stupidity of thinking he's Captain America. He says they will end this once and for all and he'll see him on 10/18. He tells him to get it through his head. He says he's ready. This was funny.

Xavant does a promo. He says WWC is headed to Aguadilla. He says the people are hyped and so is he. He says Bryan keeps insulting him and disrespects him. He says Bryan won the TV Title and thinks he's unstoppable but he's facing the captain and you have to respect him. He says he will fight with all his heart and persevere until he triumphs as that's what heroes do.

Handicap Match - El Paparazzi's Retirement Match - Paparazzi and La Sombra vs Los Informantes and Orlando Toledo

We join this in progress.

Toledo pounds on La Sombra outside then an Info holds Sombra up for more shots. Sombra is triple teamed in the corner. He gets booted and foot choked. Sombra hulks up and gets nailed by an Info. Info slingshot swantons Sombra for 2.

Info twists Sombra's head. Sombra back body drops him. Papa tags in but the ref doesn't see it and sends him out. The Info's switch and Info stomps Sombra. An Info slams Sombra. Info hits elbow drops on Sombra for 2. Sombra is thrown down backwards.

Sombra's head is banged off the buckles and Info motions for him to unmask. Info eye rakes him. Info goes crotch first into the 2nd buckle when Sombra moves. Sombra goes for the tag and Paparazzi pulls his hand away.

We go to break.

Zcion RT1 and Oscar Benabe do a promo. RT1 says Mike Nice is still his son and says Mike and Chicano don't know the trouble they got into. Oscar says he has the greatest wrestler by his side. RT1 says Oscar is the future of the business and says Aguadilla will be a war zone as they are the d@mned revolution.

Chicano does a promo. He says he and Mike Nice face Zcion and Oscar. He says Zcion is getting concerned in things that don't involve him. He says if he stray away, he may lose his title. He says he doesn't understand Eddie Colon and says says they need to put on subtitles for Oscar Benabe's promos as he doesn't understand him.

The mayor of Aguadilla invites us to the Aguadilla Mania show.

We return from break.

Papagives the ref and Sombra double middle fingers. Los Informante stomp on Sombra. Papa then takes his shoes off in the ring and throws them at Sombra. Papa leaves the ring and gives the fans middle fingers. Info top rope elbow drops Sombra. Los Informantes go to pin Sombra but then pull off on the 2 count. Toledo then stomps on Sombra.

"El Hostil" Jovan comes out. An Info slams Sombra and the other Info top rope elbow drops Sombra. Jovan has joined the match as Sombra's partner and wants tagged in. Jovan tags in and htis punches on an Informante. Jovan forearms him and blue thunders him for 2. Jovan then slingshot plancha's Los Informantes outside.

Sombra ends up in the ring alone with Toledo. Sombra hits punches on Toledo. Sombra superkicks him. Sombra top rope splashes Toledo for 2 when an Info nails the ref. Sombra punches that Info and dropkicks him. Sombra takes a flying knee from behind. Jovan goes for the pin and Toledo lariats him. Toledo then unbuttons his shirt to reveal a ref shirt. Toledo then counts the pin for Informante on Jovan.

Thoughts
: I don't know what this was at all. I don't think anyone has ever turned heel in their retirement match before, but that's what Paparazzi did here. Why? I have no idea. It's not like Sombra and him disagreed or anything. Everyone was confused by it and it was one of the most bizarre things I have ever seen. I assume Paparazzi is not retiring, but this match was just strange

Intelecto Cinco Estrellas does a promo. He says Lightning is a legend. He says he tried to communicate with him but it's impossible. He says Lightning's computer is malfunctioning as he tries to put his hands on Orlando Toledo. Cinco says that's why he had to drop him. He says Lightning is the mute that speaks with his fists but he will make him talk when he lands the first punch. He says Lightning isn't even a shadow of what he used to be.

Abel Durant then closes the show.

Overall thoughts: Rivera/Bryan was average. The other match was just plain bizarre. El Paparazzi was supposed to retire in that match. You'd think he would get the big win, everyone would cheer for him and he'd get the hero's send-off. Instead, he turned heel on his partner for no real reason and flipped off the crowd. That was an all-time bizarre result that I hope I don't see again. We also saw a bunch of promos we saw this yesterday. Yeah, this was the usual WWC show that disappointed. I'd give it a 4 out of 10 and wouldn't recommend it. This was below average.

TNA Xplosion 10/2/2026

TNA Xplosion 10/2/2026

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/09/tna-xplosion-9252026.html

Our only new content is:

Mr. Elegance vs Nick Rodriguez

The Personal Concierge talks on the mic before the match. He says Mr. Elegance's undefeated streak came to an end recently but it's about rebounding and getting back in the win column.

They lock up and Mr pulls him down. Nick side headlocks him and Mr shoulders him over. Mr chokes him in the corner and chops him. Nick chops him. Mr boots him over. Nick flying back elbows him and Mr lariats him from behind.

Nick is thrown out. The Concierge holds up a mirror for Mr so he can pose into it. Mr suplexes Nick into the ring. Mr boots him around. Nik hits shot to the gut and euros him. Mr pops him up and hits him. Mr charges at him from behind and running knees him. Mr then hits mounted shots on him.

Mr hair throws him. Nick boots him out of the corner. Nick enzugiri's him. Nick slingshots and rolls into a euro on him. Mr pops him up and Nick dropkicks him for 1. Mr running spears him. Mr spinebusters him. Mr slaps him around. Mr hits a deadfall ddt and pins him.

Thoughts: Mr. Elegance won as expected here. Mr had some weak offense that didn't really hit. Nick didn't get a whole lot of note in. What we got wasn't that good.

Overall thoughts:
There was one new match as usual and I didn't like it. Otherwise, it was just recaps and old matches. You can clear out all the new content here in only about 5 minutes, but I still wouldn't recommend this one. This wasn't good.
