Kali Armstrong comes out to talk. She says she did what she said she would do. She says she's ready to go out for all the girls in the locker room so they know her when she gets to NXT. She asks who will be her first competitor.

Zayda Steel comes out. She puts her over for winning the Evolve Title. Zay says they are both history makers. She says Kali is just lucky. Nikkita Lyons comes out. She says she's "Big Cat Kita". She says it's nice to meet Kali and said she told Stevie to call her once they crowned a champ.

Kali says both are doing talking but not doing anything to prove they want the title. Kali then gets attacked by both and eventually dropped with a spin kick to the face. Zay pounds on Kali. Natalya comes out and hits Zay and Lyons. Zay and Lyons then get out of the ring together and Nat helps out Kali.

We go to the back. Carlee Bright is down and doing some horrible selling of her arm. She gets up and a ref says he will get her some help.

Stevie Turner talks to Carlee Bright at medical. Bright says she can go but says she doesn't know who attacked her. The doctor tells her its up to her if she wants to compete. Bright says she does.

Keanu Carver is working out in the back. He says the other 3 want the prestige and glory but the title is his ticket out of the streets. He says he will beat the breaks off of them and says we will remember the name, Keanu Carver.

Sean Legacy talks to Timothy Thatcher in the back. He says TT taught him everything and it's been 8 years. TT says he's ready. Sean says he is ready and it's his chance to create his legacy. 

Carlee Bright vs Jin Tala

This is Jin's Evolve debut. CB armlocks her then rolling kimura's her. Jin armlocks her. CB la magistral's her and armdrags her. CB armlocks her then hammelocks her. Jin reverses it then CB sunset flips her for 2. CB dropkicks her. CB 2nd rope crossbodies her for 2.

Jin throws her down by the arm then codebreakers it. Jin pulls CB's arms back and crucifixes her. CB hits running back elbows then bulldogs her off the side headlock. CB codebreakers her then misses a standing moonsault. Jin does something like a fujiwara armbar and submits her.

Thoughts: It made sense with Jin working the arm but it wasn't that good. Jin's pretty green still and just doesn't show much personality at all in the ring.

We see clips from after last week's show. Wnedy Choo attacks Kylie Rae in the back, sending her into boxes and hitting her with a trash can.

Kylie Rae talks to Chuey Martinez in the back with some other girls in the back. Rae says Choo has stuck her nose in her business week after week. She says Choo is the only person who makes her not so smiley. Chantel Monroe interrupts and says she gets on her nerves. Masyn Holiday and Layla Diggs say not to mind her and says hopefully the mirror she has shows the Monroe we all know.

The Vanity Project talk to Jackson Drake about the 4-way tonight and hype up.

Edris Enofe talks in the back. He said he came back from a shoulder injury that hurt. He said it hurt more to not be able to compete. He says things will be different now as he goes from a tag wrestler to a singles superstar. He says he will become the first ever Men's Evolve champ tonight.

Wes Lee and The High Ryze come out. Wes said he wanted to come to Evolve and get a better understanding of what it's all about. He says it's called the evolution of wrestling and he can see it. He says everyone has a lot of hope of becoming the next big thing. He laughs and says it's cute.

He says he was the same way and wanted to change world, and he did. He says they are naive and delusional to think they can steal his spot. He says he's the gatekeeper now and if you want to make it to NXT, you have to make it through him.

Cappuccino Jones and Jack Cartwheel come out. Jones says Dupont and Igwe are impressive and Wes' mentorship is paying off. Wes thinks they want a rematch. Jones says he wants a match vs Wes.

Jones says Wes calls himself the measuring stick and he wants to see how he measures up. He says he wants to get to NXT and the best way is to go against a staple of NXT. Wes says Jones should have stayed behind the counter but agrees to a match.

Je'Von Evans is in the parking lot. He says he presents the winner of tonight's match with the title. Jordan Oasis walks near him. Evans asks what he's doing and he says he's walking. He says his time is coming.

We get a video on Marcus Mathers. He says he's been waiting a while to introduce himself. He's been wrestling for 6 years. He says he's not just Philly's finest, but the finest in WWE ID. He says nobody has used WWE ID like he did. He says he's been able to get more matches and train with the best of the best. He says he brings all that knowledge right here and right now.

It's Gal vs Troy Yearwood is next week as is Wes Lee vs Cappuccino Jones and words from Lince Dorado.  

WWE Evolve Title - Elimination Match - Keanu Carver vs Jackson Drake vs Sean Legacy vs Edris Enofe

I would think Keanu wins here as he's been pushed as the most dominant and hasn't lost yet. We get the big match intros for this.

KC punches out Drake to start. KC is then hit by Enofe and Sean. KC pushes them both away and hits a double lariat. KC hits running back elbows then takes an enzugiri and slingblade bulldog. Enofe slingblades Drake. Enofe jumps off Sean's back and dropkicks Drake. Enofe step up knees KC then tope con hilos Sean and Drake outside.

Enofe hits a top rope crossbody on KC for 2. KC running euros Enofe then hits an enka otoshi variation. KC pins and eliminates Enofe. We go to break and return. KC slams Sean then fallaway slams Drake. Sean top rope dropkicks KC then drake top rope moonsaults KC for 1.

KC punches out Sean. Sean superkicks him then Drake superkicks KC. Drake sliding knees KC and Sean springboard 450's KC to an "awww" from the fans. Sean misses a step up enzugiri then him and Drake double clothesline each other twice. Sean superkicks Drake. Drake superman punches him then Sean headbutts him.

Sean hits a step up enzugiri then Drake germans him. Sean no sells it and germans him back. Sean 2nd rope spanish flies Drake then springboard 450's him for 2.  

Drake eye rakes Sean. Drake pulls Sean's throat down over the top. Drake drops him down while he's bridged on the top rope and Drake hits a top rope swanton on Sean for 2. Drake handspring cutters him for 2. Drake superkicks Sean in the side of the head for 2.

Drake goes for a running knee but Sean turns it into an STF. Drake ropebreaks. Drake jumping knees him then running knees him for the win.

Thoughts: I didn't like the match that much. Drake and Sean didn't sell much and they really didn't have some big main event match. They had a normal TV 4-way without a lot of frills or big moments. I didn't understand Keanu losing this one. He's been built up as the top dog of this brand and he was not treated like it here. Does he need it? No. Will it matter 6-12 months from now when he's on NXT? No, but it would have made sense. I was surprised Sean didn't win either since he's been presented as one of the top faces. I assume Drake only won here to establish The Vanity Project as the top force and to give people lean Keanu and Sean someone to chase, but I would have just had Keanu win.

The Vanity Project celebrate after. Je'Von Evans comes in and gives Drake the belt. Drake takes it from him in a rough way but then hugs him. Drake then pushes him away and poses with his crew.

Overall thoughts: It was an unusual episode with only 2 matches. I feel I skipped something almost. It wasn't that great of an episode. The opener wasn't that good. The main was just your usual 4-way and they didn't even attempt to make it special. Keanu losing was a disappointment and Drake's win was just not that well built up to. I'd give this one a 4 out of 10 as it was really lacking in a lot of ways and is not something I would recommend.
