We see various wrestlers arrive and Ricky Saints is driven in a truck to the arena. Ricky Siants comes out to do commentary.

Je'Von Evans vs Ashantee "Thee" Adonis vs Sean Legacy

AA dances on his way to the ring. AA stomps on Sean and beats up Evans iwth his sunglasses on. Evans springboards and rolls up Sean. Sean rolls him up. Evans back rolls Sean.

Sean dropkicks Evans in the knee then hits a double stomp and a dropkick. AA lariat Sean then hits mounted shots. AA des a corkscrew plancha on Evans outside. AA slfying headscissors Sean then dropkicks him. Evans does a seated springboard into a hurricanrana on AA. Evans dropkicks Sean out.

Evans boots AA from the apron. Evans topes both and almost goes head frist into the floor. We go to PiP break and return. AA spinebusters Evans onto Sean for 2. Evans corkscrew kicks Sean then AA spinning lariats Evans. Sean hits a springboard dropkick on AA. Sean hits a standing spanish fly on Evans. Sean tope con hilos AA outside.

Sean is up top. Evans jumps up there and hurricanrana's him off the top rope. Evans corkscrew kicks Sean off the ropes. Evans and AA trade shots. AA floatover ddt's Evans then superkicks him. Sean breaks the pin up with a springboard 450. Evans cutters Sean from the side then reboud germans AA. Evans plancha's Sean outside. Evans hits a high frogsplash on AA for 2.

Ethan Page then attacks Saints on commentary from behind. Security gets involved and Evans dives on them (Drako Knox is on the guards). AA misses a top rope frogsplash. Sean hits his corkscrew burning hammer move and wins.

Thoughts: There was no selling here whatsoever which sucked but this one of the fastest matches I've seen in some time. The action was at a breakneck pace here and Adonis had a good showing. Sean getting a win was nice but Evans losing, even not by getting pinned, isn't good.

Ava, Stevie Turner and Robert Stone talk in the back. Ava says she can't have Ethan and Saints fighting and tells them to get on it.

Ava talks to Tyra Mae Steel and Jasper Troy. She says both will debut in the next few weeks and she needs their signed contracts. Troy says he will make an impact on NXT and it starts tonight.

We get a video on Jordynne Grace. She says she was one of the top 3 free agents along with Vaquer and Giulia. She said they all wanted to be on the top of NXT. She says her and Vaquer are competing for the top spot. Grace says her and Vaquer are similar.

Lola Vice and Vaquer talk in the back. Lola says Sunday will be a battle. Vaquer leaves. Fatal Influence says Lola won't get the title shot even if she sucks up. They argue and Lola says Fallon and Jacy just get in each others way. Jacy and Fallon argues and Jacy tells Fallon to take care of Lola tonight. Lola says she will see Fallon out there. Jasmyn Nyx was missing again here.

Trick Williams comes out. He says people break their necks to see him and says he will call Joe Hendry "Average Joe". Trick then raps a song saying "I ain't never backing down to an average joe".

Joe Hendry is in the locker room and plays his guitar.

Josh Briggs is interviewed. He says he wishes Inamura was here but he's not. He says he wants him to know that things aren't as fun without him. He says this is for him.

Josh Briggs vs Shawn Spears

This started during the PiP break. SS pie faces him and hits coener punches. JB drops him with punches. JG back elbows him. SS headbutts him then hits chops. JB hits a hard flying lariat. SS hits knees to the gut and is slammed.

JB bangs SS's head off the apron. JB is pushed into the post. SS hits punches and a knee on JB. SS neckbreakers him. JB back slebows SS. JB side slams and splashes him. SS lariats him over the top. SS superkicks JB off the apron.

JB catches SS's crossbody off the apron and drops him face first on the commentary table. SS' buddies get involved and JB sends Niko in the steps. Izzy boots JB on the outside and SS wins.

Thoughts: It had a lot of outside brawling and it was kind of weak that JB went down to Izzi's boot. The match was just a match.

JB is triple teamed after by The Culling. Hank and Tank come out to help JB.

Kelani Jordan talks to Zaria and Sol in the back. She asks Sol if she gets a title shot when she beats Zaria. She says she wouldn't be surprised if she goes back on her word. Zaria says she beat her 2 weeks ago and will do it again tonight. Zaria tells Sol she got this.

Uriah Connors and Kale Dixon meet up with Andre Chase in the back.

Thea Hail yells at Tatum in the back with an eye patch on her. She says Tatum blamed her because she is going through a lot. Thea says she will bounce back. Tatum says she doesn't know the toll that it takes to lose everyone she was close to. Thea says she knows what it's like it. Jaida Parker then nails Thea from behind and drops her. Jaida tells Tatum she feels bad for her. Tatum says, you do? Jaida then says, "hell no" and asks what's wrong with her.

OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucian Price) vs Chase U (Uriah Connors and Kale Dixon)

Nima pulls UC down off the lock-up. Kale then has the same thing happen to him. The crowd chants "happy birthday" to Nima and he acknowledges it. Price flips UC the hits a hard chop. Price double lariats his opponents.

UC dropkicks Price then pounds on him. Kale then pounds on Price and hits a ddt. UC senton atomico's Price and Price overhead throws him. Nima hits shots on Kale and Graves says Kale was named after a crappy vegetable. Nima blocks a russian legsweep but Kale facekicks Nima to force it.

Nima hits a hard lariat on UC. Price rams UC into Kale. UC takes a double team elevated spinebuster and is pinned.

Thoughts: It was all squash here. OTM was obviously winning here though Chase U would have used a win as well. However, their gimmick is going to be more forgiving to losses.

Myles Borne and Oba Femi talk in the ring. Oba says MB is perhaps stupid and brave but that's why he made it so far. Oba says it's not just a fight for the title but a fight for everyone MB is trying to inspire. He says it's admirable but misleading. He says good things don't always happen to good people but says it's not a Disney movie. He says he doesn't get the happy ending. He says his dream was 2 weeks ago when he won the battle royal. Oba says MB's dream will die when he faces him as he will realize he is facing the ruler and the destroyer. He says he will be merciless and unforgiving.

MB says he is out here by himself but not alone. He says Tavion, Wren and Charlie helped him train. He says he's carrying an entire community. He says it's more than winning a title, it's making a statement. He tells him to underestimate him and says he wouldn't be the first. He says every ruler falls. He says he's hard of hearing but when he shocks the world, they will hear the 1-2-3 loud and clear.

Jasper Troy then body blocks and black hole slams Oba after. Borne then chases Jasper off. Borne offers to help Oba up and Oba slaps his hand away. Borne picks up the title and gives it to Oba. Oba holds it up at him.

Thoughts: It was a good promo from Borne. It's a shame we didn't get more of these because it worked. Jasper attacking Oba is a big move.

Ava has a contract signing with Ricky Saints and Ethan Page in the back with security. Troy Yearwood is one of the guards. They argue and yell. Saints says Page doesn't want to get in the ring with him and offers to put his title on the line with him. He says Page has a big ego and small mind. Ava says they don't make matches, she does. She says they both p!ssed her off and says they can have a title match next week. She then tells them both to get out.

Tony D'Angelo is in a restaurant. He says the worst thing about betrayal is that it comes from family. He says he tried to understand why Stacks did this but he can't. He says he's not a coward and said he thought they were built the same. He says Stacks was tough as nails as a kid. He says he brought him into NXT. He says being underboss wasn't good enough and says Stacks wanted to be the shotcaller. Tony says he gets it but Stacks doesn't. Tony says Stacks only saw what he let him see. He says there's a lot of pressure. He says Stacks is only worried about himself. He says he has guts but no brains. He says there is no betrayal or bailout at the PLE, just him breaking his face.

Lola Vice vs Fallon Henley

They lock up and roll but keep connected. Lola is pushed into the buckles then FH hits a chest forearm. Lola hits kicks to the chest. FH trips her then Lola ankle locks her. Lola armlocks her.

FH side headlocks takeovers her. Lola shoulders her over. FH tries to roll her but is armbarred. Lola flying headscissors her then spin kicks her. FH boots Lola in the side head. She then swings on the post and kicks her. 

We go to break and return. FH rolls out of a backslide and is rolled up. Lola hits a kick combo. FH knees her in the gut then sliding forearms her for 2. They trade forearms on their knees. Lola hits kicks on FH. Lola corner hip attacks her then axe kicks her for 2.

Lola is thrown backwards and hits more kicks. FH swinging facebusters her. FH 2nd rope blocksbusters her for 2. Lola rolling armbars her. Jacy gets on the apron and distracts Lola. FH is pushed into Jacy. Lola urakens FH and pins her.

Thoughts: It got a lot of time. Lola had a better showing than usual and did a lot more kicks than usual. She looked a better than usual here. Her and Fallon had a better match than I expected.

Fallon and Jacy argue outside.

Stephanie Vaquer is interviewed by Kelly Kincaid. She says being La Primer doesn't come without sacrifice. She said she she was not ready during her tryout in Chile and used it as motivation. She said she owned lucha libre. She said she it was necessary to get here.

She said she knew she was supposed to be a wrestler when she saw Rey. She said everything has been worth it so far. She says Jordynne Grace will be her toughest challenge. She says Grace will burn in flames.

Thoughts: Vaquer was impossible to understand here and they really needed subtitles for this. 

We get a Dark State video. Shugars says they put fear in the locker room. He says it all started with Dion Lennox. He says he's dangerous. Dion says you pray to survive against Cutler James. James says Osiris Griffin is on a permanent seek and destroy mission. Griffin then puts over Shugars. Shugars says when Dark State strikes, ain't nobody safe.

Kelani Jordan vs Zaria

KJ misses a lariat and is german'd twice. Zar hits corner spears then throws her. Zar misses a corner charge and goes into the post shoulder first. KJ corkscrew plancha's her outside. Zar is sent into the steps. KJ top rope crossbodies her for 2. KJ uses the ropes and headscissors Zar. KJ low crossbodies Zar. KJ gets on Zar's back with a sleeper.

They trade forearms and KJ boots her off the apron. KJ's headscissors off the apron is caught and she is swung into the rails. 

We go to break and return. KJ backrolls her. Zar blocks a slingshot sunset flip. KJ dropkicks her in the knee and short ddt's her. They trade forearms on their knees then get up and trade. KJ hits flying lariats then does a cartwheel back elbow. KJ dropkicks her then tornado ddt's her.

KJ misses a 450 off the top then sunset flips her for 2. Zar lariats her. KJ takes a backpack cannonball in the corner. They fight on the apron. Zar pump kicks her there. KJ superkicks her and Sol catches Zar off the apron. KJ baseball slides Sol into Zar.

Zar then knocks Sol off the apron on accident and KJ rolls up Zar to win.

Thoughts: It had a rough section in the 2nd half of this as KJ wasn't hitting things clean. There was some things to like about this but it could have been a bit better than it was.

Joe Hendry is in the ring for his concert. We have less than 6 minutes left for this. Joe says that was Trick's first concert earlier and dedicates the next song to him. He says Trick couldn't hold his title for more than a few weeks and says he's the champ of producing cheeers. He then shows footage of Trick with Melo from a few years ago. Joe then puts his face on one of the people in the video. He says everyone calls him Melo's b!tch.

Trick Williams comes out and says he must be out of his mind. The crowd chants "Melo's b!tch" at him. Trick then says he heard someone say, "Average Joe". Trick drops Joe with a punch. Trick spinning facekicks him. Trick goes for a trick shot and is hit with a guitar in the leg. Joe then hits a standing ovation. Joe then says, "at the end of the day, Joe Hendry is the champ of TNA".

Thoughts: I liked the segment and though the guitar shot to the knee was cool. 

Overall thoughts: The opener had no selling whatsoever but it was very fast and had a lot of action. Briggs/Spears wasn't anything special. OTM won a quick squash. Borne and Oba had a good segment. Lola/Fallon was better than expected. Kelani/Zaria didn't have as good of a match as they should ahve had but there were some good parts to it. The final segment was good. I thought they did a solid job in hyping up Trick/Joe and Oba/Borne here and that was what they needed to do. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 as I thought it was good overall and did what it was supposed to in hyping up the PLE.
