A-Kid and Charlie Dempsey meet in a Heritage Cup match tonight.

Mark Coffey vs Saxon Huxley

Mark does an inset promo and says Joe will come back stronger than ever. He says he will become the top boy until Joe comes back, and then when he does return, a Coffey will still be running this place.

Mark euros then armdrags him early. Saxon Thesz presses him then bangs his head off the mat. Sax hits a big knee to the gut then elbow drops him. Mark dodges some punches and they lariat battle. Mark then back body drops him. Mark sledge hammer shots him then hits a gamengiri. Sax chokeslam bombs him for 2.

Mark forearms him then back drops him. Mark hits a sliding D to the side of the head then wins it. Mark says that was for Joe Coffey after.

I don't really like Saxon getting jobbed out again and again. It was a short but solid heavyweight match and the finish was unexpected.

We get a package on Ivy Nile. She fights Meiko for the NXT UK Women's title in 2 weeks. She said she is a different breed and said no girl can stand toe to toe with her. She said she is taking the gold home to Diamond Mine.

Sam Gradwell and Von Wagner talks over clips of each other. Sam said he isn't scared of him and Von said he likes to do his damage in the ring. Von said Sam has never faced an opponent of his size. Von said he looks technically sound and aggressive and Sam freaks out over Von throwing Jiro into the stands. He takes a deep breath and Von says Sam is just living in Von Wagner's world.

Emilia McKenzie vs Lash Legend

EM = Emilia Mckenzie

EM throws her down early and Lash blocks a headlock takeover. Lash shoulders her then throws her across the ring. Lash pops her up and she goes down then Lash pulls her hair on the ropes. Lash then hits some boots and an elbow drop. EM crossbodies her off the 2nd rope but is caught and has her head banged off the ropes. Lash then fallaway slams her and she takes quite the bump for it.

Lash spinning backdrops her for 2. Lash backbreakers her then hits a big slam. Lash misses an elbow drop then EM hits some lariats. EM then running euros her and hits a spinning neckbreaker. Lash rolls out and EM topes her. EM top rope crossbodies her for 2 then EM spears her.

EM tries her buckshot lariat esque lariat off the buckles but Lash pump kicks her and wins it. Lash stands on the ropes calls out people to come and get some.

It was just average. Nothing too special either way and Lash didn't have any botches or anything. EM deserves better than that though.

Mark Andrews takes us to a room where Kenny Williams is handing out posters. Kenny is still looking for his stalker. Mark tells him to worry about him than his stalker. I think Kenny injured Mark's shoulder and that got brought up.

Sha Samuels vs Damon Kemp

Noam Dar is out with Sha. Sha has some bright yellow gear on. Kemp does a wristlock escape then does some takedowns. He then rides his back and rolls him into a gutwrench suplex. Kemp does a nice spinning slam then Sha comes back with a forearm and a lariat.

Sha pounds on him and kicks him in the back. Sha asks for a drink from Dar's flask but it is empty. Sha lost a bunch of weight by the way and is in good shape. Sha 2nd rope elbows him then works the shoulder. Sha then misses a 2nd rope elbow then Kemp fireman's carries him. Kemp does his unusual back to belly suplex then belly to belly suplexes him.

Kemp hits a hard running shoulder then a rolling fireman's carry. Dar grabs Kemp's foot with a scarf then Sha spinebusters Kemp for the win.

Cheap ending here but it was an okay match. Kemp did his good amteur wrestling moves as always.

We get a package on the triple threat match next week with Smith and Carter vs Mustache Mountain vs Die Familie. MM is tired of talking about Smith and Carter and Smith and Carter say the 3rd tme is the charm. Trent Seven mispronounces the DF name and Bate says they never faced anyone on their level. DF said MM is a pillar of NXT UK, but it is time for a pillar to fall. MM says they are closer than family which DF disagrees with. Trent Seven is called a desperate man and Teoman says desperate men make mistakes. 

Wolfgang asks Kemp if he is okay. Wolf says he has to learn how to do things the Glasgow way if he wants to take on Sha and Noam.

Heritage Cup Rules - Charlie Dempsey vs A-Kid

Round 1 - Charlie armdrags him down. Kid kips up then is rolled into an armlock. Kid headstands and rolls in a double armlock on Charlie. Kid then flips forward and dropkicks him. Charlie hammerlocks him with his leg then does a great bridge into an indian deathlock like manuever on him. Charlie then suplexes him and flips backwards. Kid hits a nice leg lariat for 2. Kid does a nice pin combo and the round ends.

Round 2 - Charlie takes a big armdrag early then Charlie does a nice suplex on him while holding onto the arm. Charlie does a nice knucklelock suplex. Kid puts a crucifix on Charlie. Kid bridges and it leads to both guys monkey flipping the other. Nigel says Charlie was inspired by Salman Hashimikov. kid has him in a side headlock and Charlie swings him into a backbreaker when the round ends.

Round 3 - Kid does a nice backroll into a heel hook then Charlie puts a leglock on as well. They slap each other while in it and roll to the ropes. Charlie hits some strikes then does a euro that Kid does a great sell for. They roll some and Charlie hits a nasty wheelbarrow german into a pin attempt. Charlie's nose is bleeding and he hits an bow and arrow variation by hooking the head and the leg to win the fall.

Round 4 - Kid hits some leg kicks and takes a nasty bridging dragon screw. Kid hits some upkicks and they trade euro uppercuts. Kid hits a nice german then does a nice northern lights suplex for 2. Charlie goes for a euro but kid jumps and grounded sleepers him. Kid goes for a guillotine and Charlie hits a great butterfly suplex into a submission attempt. Kid hits a half and half suplex and a very nice flying kick to win the fall.  These two are tied up at one fall a piece. Next fall wins it.

Round 5 - Kid misses a running kick then crossbodies him from the buckles. Kid fisherman suplexes him and hits some chest kicks then tries for an armbar. Kid gets picked up and powerbombed on an armbar attempt for 2. Kid puts a sleeper on Charlie then PK's him. They roll with each others arms in hand then Kid does a beautiful moonsault into a ddt but Charlie is saved by the bell.

Round 6 - Final round here. Kid flies at him with a kick then takes a half and half suplex. Kid hits another half and half suplex. Charlie grabs his towel and gets german suplexed. The ref gets hold of the towel then Charlie throws knucks at Kid. The ref grabs them then Charlie gives him a punch and a Regal suplex to win the match 2 falls to 1.

This was an outstanding technical match. Some beautiful stuff here and a must see for technical wrestling lovers. These guys can just go so well on the mat. The finish was creative even if dirty and I really hope we get another match between these two.

Overall thoughts: The main was another classic between Kid and Dempsey, Kemp/Sha was okay and Coffey/Huxley was good. Another strong edition of NXT UK!
