Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2026/10/aew-dynamite-1062026-grand-slam-france.html

Note - PAC passed away on Sunday and this is a tribute show for him.

Note 2 - I'm not going to be critical here or really make a lot of remarks about some of the ongoings on this show. I don't want to come off poorly or upset anyone. This will not be a typical review.

We are in Pittsburgh, PA. Excalibur and Tony Schiavone are on commentary

We get a graphic for PAC to start.

Excalibur talks about Pac.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring with a photo of Pac and a wreath. He says we are all family and says they are grief-stricken. He puts over Pac.

We see footage from after All Out with The Death Riders talking. Mox says Will Ospreay was better than him tonight. Mox says he gave everything he had. He says part of the game is losing and says you will lose in wrestling and life and lose people and opportunities. He says things don't go your way in life and you gotta smile and give it your best as every single day is a gift. He says Will was the best tonight and he just earned more hard work. He says there's 2 kind of eulogies at funerals - this is who this guy is and this is what they did. He says he doesn't know which one he is. Mox says we need to take this gift and do something with it. The Death Riders then walk away. Mox was the only one who talked here.

We then get a 10 bell salute to Pac. The wrestlers are all on the stage.

AEW Continental Title - Jon Moxley (c) vs Orange Cassidy

Mox hammerlocks him and OC ropebreaks. OC flips him by the wrist. OC armdrags him. OC sunset flips him for 2. They trade pin attempts and stand off. They do a double knuckle lock and Mox puts him down.

Mox goes for a grounded choke and OC ropebreaks. OC side headlocks him. OC shoulders him over and Mox back elbows him down. Mox throws him out and bangs his head off the commentary table.

We go to PiP break and return. Mox piledrivers him for 2. Mox hits mounted corner punches.  Mox's head is banged off the buckles. Mox dropkicks OC off the apron. Mox throws OC in, OC then rolls out the other side. OC topes him outside. OC spinning ddt's him for 2. OC goes up top and Mox rolls away from him.

OC superman punches him and Mox cutters him. OC does his weak leg kicks as Mox forearms him. They trade forearms. Mox then does weak shin kicks to him. OC puts his hands in his pockets. Mox teases doing it but gives him the finger. OC dropkicks him and hits a superman punch. OC hits another. OC casadora rolls him for 2. OC stunners him nd Mox goes for a choke. OC PK's him. Mox corner lariats him then running lariats him. Mox then goes for a brutalizer and OC rolls him up. OC then rolls him into his own brutalizer. Mox curbstomps him then hits a death rider ddt. Mox then pins him.

Thoughts: Mox won as expected. OC screwed around as usual but at least they way they did it was a little more acceptable than usual. It was a longer bout and I thought it was average.

Bryan Danielson comes out wearing a Pac shirt and hugs Mox.

Adam Page talks about Pac.

Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay and The Young Bucks (Nick and Matt Jackson) vs The Don Callis Family (Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, Trent Baretta and Rocky Romero)

The heels attack at the start. Kenny is sent into the rails. A Buck takes trunning corner attacks and a Kyle backe elbow for 2. A Buck is popped up into a headscissors on Kyle. Kevin takes a gutbuster + flipping neckbreaker combo. Trent takes a sunset flip german. Rocky hits a double hurricanrana on The Bucks and celebrates.

Rocky gets trapped by the faces and takes chops. Rocky goes down and out. Trent takes a double boot then a facekick and headbuster. Kyle is held for a dropkick off the apron. The faces all do stereo topes. The faces hit stereo mounted corner punches.

Rocky corner lariats a Buck. Rocky then takes northern lights suplexes. A Buck top rope double crossbodies Kyle and Rocky. A Buck diving headscissors + armdrags off the top.

A Buck sends the heels into each other. Page springboard lariats Kyle on the apron. Page then slingshot plancha's out. Page fallaway slams Kevin. Page running ssp's Kevin. Kenny tags in and Kevin eye rakes him.

Kenny dragon suplexes Kevin then Rocky and Trent. Kyle michinoku drivers Kenny. Kevin springboard lariats Kyle. Rocky hits a shiranui on Page. Nick takes a jumping double knee. Kevin springboards and runs into a Kenny flying knee.

Rocky takes 4-person superkick. The faces all 4 jumps off the top and Kenny gets a 2 count on Trent. Trent takes a buckshot lariat + pumping knee from behind. Trent then takes a BTE trigger. Kenny hits an OWA on Rocky and pins him.

Thoughts: It was fine. The faces mostly just did their offense here and the heels were their punching bags, who put up very little fight. It was an Elite Party here for the most part with them just having fun.

We get tribute to Pac.

Renee shares with us a statement from Pac's family.

The New Level, Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana come out. They put their trios titles down and put a Pac towel over them.

Ricochet talks about Pac.

Thoughts: I didn't like this one. It was indy style wrestling and totally not my thing. Nothing really meant all that much here and it was similar to the highflying match they had years ago in NJPW.

Ric and Will hug after.

Will Ospreay talks about Pac.

Persephone, Britt Baker and Mercedes Mone vs Thunder Rosa, Hyan and Marina Shafir

Pers side headlocks Hyan and Hyan sweeps her. Hyan running facekicks her. Pers takes a double back elbow. Hyan legdrops Pers and Rosa basement dropkicks Pers. Rosa flying headscissors Pers. Rosa sunset flips her and Pers basement dropkicks her for 2. Britt hits forearms on Hyan.

Thoughts: It was acceptable and Marina winning with the brutalizer was a nice touch. I think Britt took a bump here, which she did not do last time around. It was pretty standard for the most part and Marina was put over some.

Various wrestlers talk about Pac.

The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, Daniel Garcia, Gabe Kidd and Wheeler Yuta) and Bryan Danielson vs The Don Callis Family (Mark Davis, Jake Doyle, Lance Archer, Josh Alexander and Wardlow)

This is Wardlow's return after about 2 years away. Him being with The Family is new. The Riders set up Pac's chair and huddle around it. This is Bryan Danielson's return after about 15 months off.

Everyone fights. Wardlow and CC fight in the ring. Lance is sent into the rails. Yuta dropkicks Jake in the knee and basement dropkicks him. Bryan hits chest kicks on Josh and headbutts him. Jake sends Bryan into the rails.

Lance grabs Marina by the throat and Marina triangles him over the top rope. Claudio tornillo's Lance outside. Garcia dances. Jake takes running corner attacks. Bryan and Yuta hit stereo topes out. Gabe does Pac's rebound lariat on Jake. Garcia sharpshooters Jake and Claudio curbstomps Jake. Garcia pins Jake.

Thoughts: The Death Riders won as expected here. What we got was acceptable. Bryan looked alright but was taking it a bit easy on some of the bumps. Wardlow didn't really stick out or particularly impress.

We then get a Pac video.

The Death Riders then pose around Pac's empty chair that he came out with and a spotlight is lit on the chair to close the show.

Overall thoughts: It's a tribute show. I don't want to be too critical or negative here. It was nice of them to do a tribute show for Pac and they did a nice job with it. I will not be rating this one. I apologize if it wasn't up to my usual standards or what you expected, but I think this is the best way to go about it.
