AEW Dynamite 12/3/2025

We are in Fishers, IN. Tony Schiavone, Excalibur, Don Callis and Bryan Danielson are on commentary.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring and says we will have a volatile face to face. He brings out Samoa Joe and Eddie Kingston. Joe tells Tony to get out of his ring before he snatches the ugly wig off his head. Joe says Eddie probably has questions that need answered. Joe says he didn't wear his suit because it would be like wearing a tux to a petting zoo. He says the fans are too stupid to realize when they are in the presence of greatness. 

Joe says Hook grew up with a championship legacy. He says it's about education and said he thought it was important Hook knew what it was like living on the other side. He says Eddie has never gotten it done or crossed the finish line. He says Eddie screams about his potential but never fulfills it. He says Eddie will bring everything to the table but won't cross the finish line just like every other time. 

Eddie says Joe sold his soul out. Eddie says Hook learned perseverance and never quitting from him. Eddie says everyone calls him a hot head but when he yells and screams, he gets stuff done. He says he doesn't know or respect this Joe. He says Joe showed everyone what it meant to be a world champ but is now jumping people from behind and getting in Hook's head. Eddie says Joe is like the guys he used to call out. Eddie says if Joe doesn't bring the old Samoa Joe, he will eat him alive.

The Opps minus Joe do a promo. Hook says Joe took care of business tonight and will finish Eddie Kingston off next week. Hobbs says they have business to handle tonight. He says everyone is gunning for the tag titles. He says they will spread holiday cheer. He says Dark Order impressed them on ROH and they can get a title shot if they beat them. Hook says he knows they are Page's friends so they will have fun with them. Hook says it'll be real light work tonight.

AEW Continental Classic 2025 Gold League Match - Kazuchika Okada vs PAC

They trade waistlocks. KO wristlocks him. Pac rolls out and reverses it. Pac hammerlocks him. KO trips him. Pac piefaces him in the corner and they forearm each other at the same time. Pac dropkicks him in the knee and running back elbows him. Pac top rope dropkicks him.

KO slides out and pushes Pac into the rails. KO hits back elbows in the corner then ddt's him for 2. KO slams him. Pac rakes KO's eyes with his foot and then stomps him. 

We go to PiP break and return. Pac spin kicks him in the gut and flying kicks him in the head. Pac misses a top rope dropkick and is dropkicked in the corner. 

KO running back elbows him. KO then ddt's him for 2. KO hits a top rope elbow drop. Pac boots him over the 2nd rope. Pac slingshot cutters him. Pac runs the ropes into a KO dropkick. Pac rolls him up for 2. Pac superkicks him. 

Pac pump kicks him then rebound germans him. Pac hits a regular german for 2. KO tombstones him. Pac top rope superplexes KO. Pac running lariats KO then brutalizer's him. KO reverses it into his own pin and wins.

Thoughts: It was alright. Pac took a hard tombstone on his head and Okada took a hard german here. The finish didn't really fit what they were doing but Okada already lost and couldn't really lose here again as he is a champ.

Mark Briscoe does a promo. He says him and Daniel Garcia faced off twice around this time last year. He says Garcia is the real deal. He says things have changed as he is the TNT champ this time. He says his opinion of him changed. He says DG is falling into a Death Riders death spiral. 

Mark says he doesn't play games and asked Tony Khan to make this a TNT Title match. He says it'll be an international @ss whooping when they face off in Cardiff, Wales.

The Demand do a promo. Ric says he had to put his phone on do not disturb as promotions were begging him to come save their company. He says they know that Ric is not only a champ but a viral sensation in every company he worked for. He says he's also known for his charity work. He says he will be in ROH on Friday against Dalton Castle. He says he will give a charity case a shot at the champ. They say The Demand is in demand and if you don't follow demands, you get put down.

The Conglomeration and Harley Cameron do a promo. Mark says The Conglomeration has not started off The Continental Classic with a lot of success. Mark says it's Strong vs Orange and someone has to win. Strong says he's in The Conglomeration. He says he will beat OC's @ss. OC asks for Conglomeration Rules - no chops. Strong calls him an idiot and says he break his back.

We see Darby in a hospital bed in a hospital. They say they will update us on his status on Collision.

AEW Continental Classic 2025 Gold League Match - Kyle Fletcher vs Kevin Knight

They lock up. KK clean breaks him on the ropes. KF side headlock takeovers him. KK headscissors him. KK waistlock takedowns him and poses. KK trips him then walks on his back. KK flips out of a hiptoss then armrags him twice. KF avoids a dropkick then goes out and stalls. KF comes back in and is lariated over the top.

KF facekicks KK off the apron. KK jumps off the apron and lariats him. KK springboard lariats him outside. We go to PiP break and return. KK rolls him up for 2. KK dropkicks him. They trade punches. KK corner lariats him then does a flying lariat. 

KF boots him out of the corner. KK hurricanrana's him while KF is up top and he is standing on the mat. KK ddt's him for 2. KK sunset flips him and boots him. KF lawn darts him into the 2nd buckle. KF corner facekicks him. KK springboard lariats him.

KK jumping ddt's him on the apron. KK is crotched up top. KF is then put in tree of woe. KK does a coast to coast dropkick on him. KK does a 180 splash off the top but KF gets his knees up. KF sitout last ride's him for 2. KF superkicks him then corner facekicks him. KF brainbusters him for the win.

Thoughts: KK did more flying lariats here than I think I have ever seen in one match. It's pretty much all he did here. Kyle didn't go too overboard here at least as KK got most of the offense in on this one. It was okay. Kyle got the win as expected.

Don Callis comes in the ring. He says he has news about The Young Bucks. Josh Alexander and Hechicero come out with the money they won at the PPV. Kyle says he's not feeling great.

We go to break and return. Don and his crew are still there talking. Don says he can forgive a lot with The Bucks. He says you can lie to him, cheat him or kill someone. He says siding with Kenny Omega is an unforgivable sin though. Don says he has The Bucks' money and says he knows Omega won't finance them. Don tells them to be men and come and take the money.

The Young Bucks come out. They hit superkicks on everyone and hit a BTE trigger on Kyle. Okada comes out and a rainmaker's a Buck. The other Buck is then ganged up on. One Buck is in an ankle lock. Jurassic Express come out and help out. Jack top rope moonsaults out onto Hech and Josh. Okada low blows Lucha. Jack bites Okada's finger. El Clon and Mark Davis then beat up Jack. Don hits punches on Matt Jackson and sticks his finger in Nick's eye. Kenny Omega then comes out in a Christmas sweater and beats up the heels. Omega dragon suplexes Okada after avoiding a rainmaker. The heels go out with the money.

Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale talk over a video. Harley says Willow was her 2nd opponent ever. She says it blows her mind that they are still here to this day. Willow says they have been through a lot together. Harley says a lot of people didn't believe they would get here but they believe in themselves. They then chant their team name.

AEW Women's Tag Title Tournament Semifinals - Hardcore Holiday Death Match - Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir vs Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa

Mina and Toni dance on their way out. They go after the heels and get hit on the ropes. Toni and Mina do stereo thesz presses and hit mounted shots. Mina and Toni hit stereo ddt's then hit tornado ddt's off the apron outside. Toni hits Shafir with a champagne bottle then stabs Meg with the rest of it. Mina hits Meg with a barbed wire candy cane.

Mina sling blade's Meg then wraps the barbed wire candy cane around her mouth. Shafir is bleeding and Toni twisting drops Mina onto Meg. Meg hits a botched double suplex. Shafir 619 headscissor spikes Toni into the apron. Meg gorilla press throws Mina out onto Toni.

We go to PiP break and return. Shafir hits Mina in the chest with a pan on the ropes while Meg clubs Toni's chest. Meg chairs Toni then Shafir hits Toni in the butt with the pan. Mina dropkicks the chair into Meg's face. Toni piledrivers Meg off the apron through a table. Shafir does mother's milk on Mina. Mina sticks a broken pool cue into Shafir's face and jack knifes her for 2.

Mina uraken's Shafir. Mina top rope plancha's Shafir outside. Mina top rope diving slingblades Shafir onto a chair. Shafir suplexes Mina. Meg spears Mina through a table in the corner. Marina chairs Toni. Toni piledrivers Meg onto Shafir's gut. Luther in a Santa costume arrives. He gives Shafir a gift but nothing but his middle finger is in it. Toni germans Shafir. Luther gives Toni a wrapped shoe. She hits Shafir with it and pins her.

Thoughts: I would have liked the piledriver through a table to finish off Meg here as that was a pretty big spot. Other than that, I liked it. It was an entertaining hardcore battle with some fun spots, a little blood and a funny appearance by Luther.

Thekla's crew do a promo on Kris Statlander and Jamie Hayter. Thek says Statlander is a baby b!tch. Kris Statlander tells Thekla to name the time and date for a match. Jamie Hayter says they have enemies in common and says they should beat up Skye and Julia in Cardiff, then have a chat about Statlander's title.

The Dark Order are in the back. Uno says this has been years in the making and they have an opportunity like no other. Adam Page walks up next to them. Alex says he knows Page is looking for blood but says not to ruin this. Page says he's coming for The Opps the second this ends.

Renee interviews Mercedes Mone. Renee says they haven't seen her since Full Gear where she lost. Mone says she's a global icon and PWI's #1 wrestler. She asks if that sounds unsuccessful to her. Mone will fight Red Velvet at Final Battle. She says she has beaten her and will do it again. She says Red knows she's on Dynamite every single week but isn't here. Mone says she will give her another chance to fall off the money train. She says Red says she is never on ROH but she says she will be on it this week. She says there's a price to pay when you talk down to Mone.

FTR and Stokeley Hathaway do a promo. Stoke says FTR are the new tag champs. Stoke says their celebration was ruined by Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn. Stoke says they said they wanted to be champs for Jay White and Colten Gunn. He says it's pathetic. Cash says they beat them but it's the last time they will beat FTR. Cash says they will always be Billy's Boy and Mr. Storm. Dax says Juice's position of power in The Gang has gotten to his head. Dax says this is life while it's a paycheck for Austin. Dax says they will be on Collision and dares them to put their hands on their  titles.

The Opps (Katsuyori Shibata, Hook and Powerhouse Hobbs) vs The Dark Order (Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds and John Silver)

The Dark Order will get a trios title shot if they win here.

The Order are knocked off the apron and beaten up outside. Uno is sent into the rails. Alex is well. The bell officially rings. John hits chest kicks on Hooks. Hook hits a capture suplex. Hobbs catches Alex's tope and slams him on the apron. Uno is facekicked off the buckles to the outside. 

We go to PiP break and return. John germans Hook. Uno running forearms Hook. Uno hits corner attacks on Shibata and Hook. Uno hits a double ddt. Uno chops Hobbs and Hobbs no sells it. Uno slaps him. Hobbs lariats him then hits a world's strongest slam for 2. 

Hobbs takes a double superkick. Hobbs spinebusters Uno and pins him.

Thoughts: The Opps won in shorter fashion here as expected. They did fine with what they got but the outcome was never in doubt here. I was surprised The Order didn't get beaten up more here.

Adam Page comes out and hits The Opps with a chain. KS boots Page then hits mounted forearms. Page hits Hobbs with a beer bottle. Security stops Page from hitting a buckshot lariat. Page then beats up security.

Renee interviews Don Callis, Okada and Fletcher. Okada says Takeshita let them down out there and it's his fault. Don says Takeshita is in heavy training. Takeshita then comes in and gets in Okada's face. Don is asked why both parts of the Unified Title aren't on the line in The Continental Classic. He says he's not an idiot and doesn't do things to be charitable. Kyle says they are guaranteed to bring the Continental Title home after The Continental Classic since they have 3 people in it.

Adam Page does a promo. He says he fought for 3 years to get back to the world title. He says the person who cost him it is Hook. He says Full Gear was a bump in the road and he will take the title back. He says if Hobbs and Shibata want a fight, they got one. Page says he will fight them but not alone. He says they know who is coming for them. 

AEW Continental Classic 2025 Blue League Match - Jon Moxley vs Claudio Castagnoli

Renee hypes up the match in the crowd as Mox enters. Marina Shafir is at ringside and is told to go.

CC backs up Mox in the corner. The do a test of strength. CC tries pin attempts and double stomps him. CC chops him in the corner. Mox boots him out of the corner. Mox hits chops and punches. Mox hits mounted corner punches. Mox splits CC's fingers and CC backbreakers him.

We go to PiP break and return. They trade forearms. Mox headbutts him and is busted open. CC blocks a dropkick and giant swings him. CC sharpshooters him. CC crossfaces him. Mox bulldog chokes him. CC hits forearms and they forearm each other at the same time.

Mox topes him. Mox hits a cutter and CC running lariats him. CC gets a 2 count on him then Mox does as well. Mox drops him with a lariat. Mox curbstomps him for 2. Mox does a grounded choke. CC throws him over the top to escape it. CC running euros him outside then M. Bison stomps him while Mox sits in a chair. CC hits euros on Mox against the steps.

CC running lariats him inside for 2. CC powerbombs him for 2. They go head to head. Mox eye rakes him then ddt's him. CC running euros him and picks up the surprise win.

Thoughts: It was a good match with them stiffing each other, fighting outside and Mox bleeding like he always does. This looked like how it should look and they got this right minus the finish. I don't like Mox losing all of these matches though. You gotta protect your top stars and Mox is one of them. 

Overall thoughts: It was a heavy wrestling edition of Dynamite like Continental Classic shows usually are. Most of the wrestling was good though so that's fine. The main and the women's hardcore tag match were the best matches on this one. Kevin Knight even dragged something respectable out of Fletcher. The rest of the show made sense as well and this show did what it was supposed to do. I'd give this a 7 out of 10 as we had two strong matches and nothing was awful.
