Michael Cole and Corey Graves are on commentary.

Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky come out. Rhea says The Kabuki Warriors have been causing chaos and think they are untouchable with the tag titles. She says Lash and Nia think the same. Rhea says more numbers mean more enemies. Iyo says there's nowhere to hide as it's Wargames. Rhea then brings out Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.

Bliss says says the heels at Wargames are on. She says they started it and Bliss' team will end it. Bliss says they knew they were in when they heard Wargames. Flair says she can't pretend anymore. She says she doesn't like Rhea or trust her. She says she thinks Rhea is a snake and there's too much bad blood here. Flair says she trusts Bliss but says to count her out. She then walks away.

We see various wrestlers arrive. 

The Last Time is Now Tournament 1st Round - The Miz vs Jey Uso

Jey comes out through the crowd as usual. We go to break and return and Jey wants to play his song again but Miz interrupts.

They lock up. Miz knees and clubs him. Jey htis punches. Miz knees him in the gut. Miz misses a corner lariat and is put in the backslide. Jey corkscrew kicks him. Miz rolls him up for 2. Miz is lariated over the top. Jey topes Miz outside.

We go to break and return. Jey is on the 2nd rope and takes a codebreaker. Miz ddt's him. Miz hits chest kicks on Jey. Jey backdrop lifts him into a neckbreaker for 2. Jey misses a corner hip attack. Miz hits flying forearms. Miz blue thunders him ala Cena and hits a five knuckle shuffle. Jey blocks an AA then superkicks Miz. Miz hits a skull crushing finale on Jey for 2. 

Miz goes for a 2nd rope skull crushing finale but Jey drops him down on the top rope. Jey spears him. Jey hits a top rope splash on Miz and wins.

Thoughts: It was shorter one. I popped for Miz doing Cena's moves here. I would have rather see Miz win this as he has a history with Cena but that was going to happen here. What we got was okay but it was definitely a TV style match.

Nick Aldis talks to DIY and Ilja Dragunov. DIY complain about Ilja not respecting the rules of an open challenge. Ciampa says Ilja issues open challenges but keeps ducking Ciampa. Ilja says he wants to keep up the respect of the US Title and not fight jack@sses. He says he wants to fight someone with honor, who he respects. Fraxiom walk in and DIY walk off mad. 

Aldis walks past Paul Heyman and Bronson Reed. Paul says he needs to talk to him.

Nick Aldis is on his phone and wants Heyman and Reed escorted out of the building. Paul says he is allowed to choose any talent for Wargames. Nick thanks him for confirming what was already known. Cody Rhodes comes in. Paul says Cody got involved in Vision business on Monday. Cody says the business of today is his title. He says you should leave if you aren't here to fight. Reed says he will fight. Cody then tells Nick to make the match. Paul says it's not good enough and says to make it a title match. Cody agrees and tells Nick to book it.

WWE United States Title - Ilja Dragunov (c) vs Axiom

This is an open challenge.

Ax gets a wristlock then Drag reverses it. Drag hip throws him. Ax snapmares him and Drag does an armlock off of it. Drag picks him up and throws him down by the arm. Ax side headlock takeovers him. Ax shoulders him then Drag shoulders him over. 

They trade shots. Ax armbars and triangles him. Ax dropkicks him then enzugiri's him over the top. Ax is crotched up top. Drag headbutts him down. Drag hits a top rope senton for 2. We go to PiP break and return.

Drag germans him. Ax northern lights release suplexes him. Ax top rope dropkicks Drag for 2. They trade chops. Drag facekicks him. Ax rolling triangles him. Drag powerbombs him. Ax is yanked up  from the mat, he jumps up top and does the Mysterio/Guerrero Halloween Havoc 1997 moonsault into a ddt spot.

Ax top rope spanish flies him. Drag hits a hard flying headbutt and then h-bombs him to win.

Thoughts: I didn't like Dragunov no selling the spanish fly at the end. I thought it could have been a little faster. Drag's torpedo moscow headbutt looked good and Ax's moonsault into a ddt spot was nice. I liked it overall though I do think if they cleaned it up some, it could have been great.

R-Truth talks to Nick Aldis in the back. He has balls for the tumbler and makes Nick take them.

Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre walk in with Green in a bathrobe and Alba in a hair curler. Green asks why she didn't get pyro when she won the title next week. She asks when her championship celebration is happening and said Nick cancelled it. She said she already had a dress for it and will forgive him if he gives her a celebration next week. Nick asks her to hold onto Truth's tumbler balls.

During the break, Tomasso Ciampa beat up Axiom in the aisle. Nathan Frazer ran off Ciampa and saved Ax.

Sami Zayn comes out to talk. He says there's been high highs and high lows on SD. He said he would beat Solo Sikoa for the US Title and he did. He said he got to wrestle John Cena too. He said he hasn't been cleared and it's been hard to watch Solo Sikoa and The MFT's run wild on SD. He said he sat back and did nothing but it ends tonight.

Sami says he has a problem with Solo Sikoa and tells him to come out and handle it face to face. Solo says he knows the real Sami but Sami doesn't. He says he's pathetic, a liar, desperate and selfish. He says he doesn't care about anyone but himself. Solo says he cares about family and their loyalty. He says Sami knows nothing about loyalty to family.

The MFT's get on the apron. Solo says this could end bad for him and he could drop him. He says he will wait until he's 100% medically cleared. He says then he is coming for him. Sami says Solo won't have to wait long as he is 100% cleared as of tonight. He challenges him to do something about it right now. Sami says he didn't come alone though. Nakamura, Fenix and The Motor City Machine Guns fight The MFT's. Sami pounds on Solo and stomps him in the corner. Talla saves Solo from a helluva kick.

The MFT's hit Sami from behind. Fenix tornillo plancha's on the MFT's outside.

Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes talk in the back. Jey says he has Cody's back if it gets slimy tonight. Jimmy Uso walks in and says he has Cody's back too. He said he spoke to Punk and says count him in for Wargames. 

Solo Sikoa says he wants Sami to Nick Aldis tonight. Nick says Solo and The MFT's can take on Sami, The Guns, Fenix and Nakamura in a Survivor Series match in 2 weeks. we then see a Wyatt's graphic and see Uncle Howdy in the back. 

The Last Time is Now Tournament 1st Round - LA Knight vs Zack Ryder

Zack Ryder is the surprise opponent. He was on NXT recently but hasn't been on the main shows since he got released. A fan happens to have a Matt Cardona pendant. Zack has a remixed theme.

Zack rolls up LA for 2. LA yanks on the arm. Zack sends LA out. We go to break and return. LA is thrown hard into the buckles. LA back body drops him. LA hits punches on Zack. LA lariats him and russian leg sweeps him. LA jumping neckbreakers him for 2. 

Zack hits forearms and chops. Zack facebusters him. Zack hits a broski boot in the corner. LA reverse ddt's him. Zack hits a rough ryder for 2. Zack rolls him up off a BFT for 2. LA jumps at him and runs into double knees. Zack comes off the buckles and is powerbombed. LA hits a BFT on Zack and wins.

Thoughts: LA and Zack look so much alike. I liked the match. It was fun and it was good to see Zack back after so long. The two matched up pretty well here.

Iyo, Rhea and Bliss talk in the back about Flair leaving. Rhea says she can find 2 more people for the time. Nia Jax and The Kabuki Warriors attack then Lash Legend drops Rhea with a forearm. Lash sends Iyo and Rhea into boxes.  

Jade Cargill vs B-Fab

Fab dropkicks her twice then spinning heel kicks her in the corner. Fab hits back elbows. Jade forearms her down and fallaway slams her. Jade chokeslams her. Jade powerbombs her twice. Jade then wins with a jade end.

Thoughts: It was a quick squash here. This didn't go as clean as it should have gone and it was mostly due to Fab, who was nervous on some of the bumps.

Michin comes in to help up Fab after with the ref. Jade talks trash to them and shoves Michin.  

Nick Aldis picks more people for the tournament. It's Carmelo Hayes vs Bronson Reed and Penta vs Finn Balor.

Carmelo Hayes is interviewed. Cathy says Melo has said he idolized Cena. Melo says Miz won the battle but the war has just begun. Melo says Cena has a line-up of killers and he's one of them. He says if he gets that shot, he won't miss. Bronson Reed comes in and says he will end Cody Rhodes and then end Melo and Cena. 

Aleister Black says Damian Priest doesn't even believe Black's afraid of him. He says Priest is the only one who fears. Zelina Vega says they said they would force him to break his code and corrupt him. She says they did. I think he says he became the one thing no one wanted him to become - everyone's enemy.

WWE Undisputed Title - Cody Rhodes (c) vs Bronson Reed

They lock up and Cody is pushed. Cody hits punches and drop down punches Reed. Reed bodyblocks and elbow drops him. Reed bodyblocks him outside. We go to PiP break and return.

Reed chinlocks him. Cody disaster kicks him. Cody hits punches and Reed death valley drivers him for 2. Reed misses a top rope splash. Cody does a double jump cody cutter for 2. Cody goes for a tope and is forearmed. Reed runs at him outside and goes over the rail. 

Bron Breakker and Logan Paul then come out and beat up Cody. Logan hits mounted shots on Cody. The Uso's come out to help Cody. Reed is double superkicked as is Logan. Logan takes a 3D. 

Jimmy goes up top. Drew pushes Jimmy off the top. Nick Aldis comes out and yells at Paul Heyman asks what Paul is doing having Drew come out on his show. Paul says his contract says "anybody". Jey superkicks Drew then runs into a knee. Bron spears Jey through a table in the corner. Drew claymore kicks Cody. Reed top rope splashes Cody.

Thoughts: They didn't get a ton of time of the match here. They started going into signature moves pretty quick then Cody ended up getting jumped by the heels. Drew's suspension is one of the shortest lived suspensions ever. I did like the big brawl they had here though. 

Overall thoughts: It was a fun show. They got a lot done here with them building up WarGames. I liked seeing Zack Ryder back. Dragunov/Axiom was pretty stiff as expected here. Miz/Uso wasn't bad but it wasn't long. The main wasn't much and was just a backdrop for the post-match fight. I'd give this a 6 out of 10 overall.
