Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/12/nwa-powerrr-1222025.html

The Cazana's talk to the roster.

Joe says it's a great day in the NWA as he is taking over the NWA. He says Billy Corgan is out on tour and has no communication. He says they will do things one way only - by the book.

Kyle Davis is in the ring with Alex Taylor and Kerry Morton of The Southern Six.

Alex says they'd love to talk about themselves but tonight they are here to celebrate Silas Mason, who is the new NWA champ. Silas comes out.

Silas names old NWA champs. He says they are all dead and gone and looking up to him from hell, thanking him for being better than them and carrying the legacy better. He says he's bigger and better than all of them. He says there's only one big buck here and says if you think you are better, come and test him now. He says only 60 men have held the title and it will never change as he will be champ forever.

Thom Latimer comes out. He says Silas is the real deal and he lost to him fair and square. He then congratulates him. Silas says you can't fool him. He says he knows why Thom is out here as he wants to get back on top. Silas tells him to get to the back of the line.

Knox and Murdoch come out. Murdoch says he's a 2x NWA champ. He says he beat Tyrus and asks why Thom feels he deserves a rematch now. Murdoch says he never got his rematch and asks what's so special about Thom. He says his partner Knox is hurt so he's got plenty of time. Murdoch challenges Thom to a #1 Contender's Match. He says Thom fought him 4 times and was never able to beat him. Murdoch said he had a match where he got no offensive moves on him and still beat him. Murdoch says Thom was only champ because he let him be champ. Murdoch says they can do any kind of match he wants. Thom says, "you got it".

Mims does a promo. He says he was told he was paranoid and crazy when he said The Pope came back because he was jealous of him. He says Pope cost him his chance at the World Title. He says it was a mistake to show him mercy. He says Pope made a big mistake and this is his biggest and last mistake.

NWA Jr. Heavyweight Title - Alex Taylor (c) vs Damien Fenrir

Alex piefaces him then wristlocks him. DF flips out of it and side headlocks him. DF shoulders him over. DF hits a forearm then japanese armdrags and armdrags him. DF armlocks and wristlocks him. Alex throws him down by the hair.

DF goes up and over then backflips and poses. DF hits a nice dropkick. DF has the ropes kicked as he climbs up them. Alex stomps him then hits corner spears. DF pulls his neck forward. Alex chokes him on the ropes. They do a botched superplex.

DF hits lariats then uranage backbreakers him. DF hits an emerald flowsion for 2. DF misses a top rope swanton. Alex cradle shocks him for the win.

Thoughts: DF had a rough night here in probably his biggest match to date. They had a couple of sloppy moments here and they were almost all due to DF. The athletic ability is there but it's clear he needs some work. This wasn't good.

Natalia Markova does a promo. She said she did it and is the women's champ. She says she's starting the new era of the NWA. She says we will be so excited to see the fighting champion, Natalia Markova.

The Slimeballz are hanging out in a dumpster. Sage says he doesn't get why they aren't invited to Silas Mason's championship celebration. Rant thinks they are invited. Sage says Silas is scared of him as they knocked them out of The Crockett Cup. Sage says they are awesome and he questions Rant on not thinking they are cool enough. Sage says they are the slimiest, coolest guys out there.

Nightmare Syn (Frank and Zyon) v Cristiano Argento and Tyler Franks

Austin Idol is with Frank and Zyon. Zyon and TF lock up. Zy wristlocks him. TF hammerlocks him then Zy pulls him down by the hair. They trade waistlocks. TF reverses a hiptoss with an armdrag then dropkicks him.

CA comes in and is chopped by Zy. He then tags out. TF hits forearms on Zy. TF kicks him as he bends over. Zy flying knees him from behind and sends him out. Frank chokeslams TF on the apron.

Zy splashes TF in the corner off a double team. TF takes corner attacks and a flying double chop from Zy. CA comes in and hits shots on Frank. Frank facekicks him over. Frank hits a sitout double arm chokeslam and pins him.

Thoughts:
It was a shorter one here. The faces went down as expected. CA got treated like a joke and TF was really the only person to get serious shots in on the other time. This wasn't much of note.

Carson Drake and Aron Stevens talk to Lockjaw Drake. Carson says something about him isn't right and it's not Drake. Carson tries to get him to do his laugh and tries to tell a joke. Lockjaw doesn't respond and Carson says this is why he wasn't invited places last year.

NWA World Television Title - Bryan Idol (c) vs Slade

Slade has Aron Stevens with him. Slade front facelocks Idol on the mat. Idol wristlocks him and Slade trips him out of it. Idol armdrags and dropkicks him. Idol flying knees Slade then underhook suplexes him. Idol hits some shots on Slade.

Slade hits a hard release german on Idol's neck. Slade hits mounted punches on Idol. Slade hits a corner spear then powerslams him for 2. Idol hits chops on Slade then running forearms him.

Idol misses a double jump moonsault. They trade punches. Idol superkicks him. Idol goes for a texas cloverleaf and Aron Stevens gets on the apron. Slade ankle locks him. Idol goes for the ropes and Aron pulls the ropes away. The ref catches Aron and DQ's Slade.

Thoughts: The NWA has been into some odd finishes lately and this was one of them. Not that I disagree on Slade getting DQ'd for this, but I don't think I've seen that before. This was another shorter bout. What we got was alright but it ended as things were picking up. Idol was in much better shape here than before and this is defense #5 for him in The Lucky 7.

Slade nails Idol from behind after. Idol swings his title at him.

We go back to The Cazana's talking to the roster. Joe asks them to field questions. Tommy Henry asks what gave him the power to take over. Joe says he can show him clauses in his book. He says he may not be able to show the clause but he points to someone who can. This guy in a suit, who I think it is a lawyer, says Joe can do this. Joe talks about putting AJ Cazana in the ring with Tommy Henry and putting KC Cazana in the ring with Hunter.

Carson Drake gets up and says he's ready to do this by the book. Joe says thank you. Natalia Markova says this is disrespectful and says Joe can't make himself president. Joe says everything he does for the NWA is by the book. Silas says this is like in 1991 with Boris Yeltzin. He says this is a blatant power grab.

Joe says Silas needs to remember who got him to the NWA. He says they just can't take the trailer out of him. Joe says there's a man near them named JAC who Silas should think of as he says JAC could beat him. Silas says JAC could be 2 stories tall and he'll still face him. Joe says Silas and everyone else here will do things by the book.

We see Mike Mondo outside with his title. He says he's 7,000 pounds of steel and heart and will face The Wall next week.

NWA World Tag Titles - The Immortals (Kratos and Odinson) vs The Colon's (Primo and Epico)

The Immortals come out carrying the Crockett Cup.

Kratos and Primo start us off. Kratos blocks a sunset flip and pushes Primo in the corner. Primo misses a 2nd rope shot and is punched down. Primo is hit with a double shoulderblock, a splash and a knee. Odin hits a spinning euro to the back of the neck and a sliding lariat.

Kratos hits Primo in the gut, Primo taunts him then trips him into the ropes. Epic boots Kratos on the 2nd rope then slingshot swantons him after Primo slides down his back. Epico hits punches and a jawbreaker. Kratos deadlift suplexes him for 2.

Epico dropkicks Kratos in the knee then hits mounted punches. Epico punches Kratos in the ribs off the 2nd rope. Epico neckbreakers him for 2. Primo sits on Kratos' back and camel clutches him. Kratos hits punches on Primo then powerslams him.

Odin and Epico get in. Odin flying corkscrew euros him. Odin flying euros him in the corner. Odin flying euros both in the corner then backdrops Primo into a uranage. Odin F-5's Epico onto Primo. The Colon's eye rake the faces and push them into each other. The faces block a double backstabber. Kratos pop-up swinging side slams Primo. Epico takes a flying euro + flapjack (immortality) and is pinned.

Thoughts
: I'm glad The Immortals won here. It was fine for what it was but not much more. Kratos' pop up spinning side slam looked good.

Overall thoughts: It was your usual episode of NWA Powerrr with random wrestlers and matches. There was nothing that great here and they didn't do a lot to build to the next show or follow up on things from the last show. Fenrir didn't look good in his biggest match to date. Nightmare Syn won a quicker bout. Idol/Slade was going okay but then had a dumb DQ finish. The main was fine. I'd give this a 5 out of 10 as it was an average show.
