Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/09/wwe-lfg-9212025-season-2-episode-13.html
Shawn Michaels says the playoffs are starting today. He says some get to stay and some get to go home. He says it's up to the legends. He says best of luck and says it's getting serious.
Haze says she feels nervous and says no one expected anything out of her but she proved them wrong. P-Nasty says she's the biggest threat and it will be an easy one.
Undertaker sits down with Dani and Bayley. He says he's impressed with both of them and tells them to make his decision the most difficult he has had to make. Taker asks Bayley how she feels about having 0 points. Bayley says she doesn't think it matters. She says she outdoes Dani with moves and character. Dani says she's raised the bar every time she was given it. She says she's diligent and resilient. She says she feels like she has been overlooked. She says Bayley is the top dog and she's going to take the spot.
Dani says she felt the most support in recent weeks but she says there's eyes of other coaches she needs to impress. Taker says both excelled at what he asked them to do. Taker says Bayley will redefine the women's division. He says Dani is polished and smooth beyond her time and he's pulling for both to make it as difficult on him as they can. He says to remember that this is a competition.
Dani talks about their size differences. Bayley says it sucks to lose in the first round and won't let it happen again.
Dani Sekelsky vs Bayley Humphrey
Dani misses a corner lariat and takes shots to the gut. Dani hits some good boots. Bay throws her in the corner and back elbows her. Bay lariats her for 2. Bay does a gori special. Dani eye rakes to get out and hits a bad slap.
Bay misses a stomp and Dani makes her chase her. Dani stomps on her. Bay grabs her and does a gorilla press drop on her. We go to break and return. Bay misses a corner facekick. Dani hits kicks to the back. Dani bangs Bay's leg off the post. Dani figure fours her around the post.
Bay side slams her. Dani chopblocks her. Dani hits elbow drops to the leg. Dani pulls her leg, stomps it and does a toe hold. Dani slaps her. Dani kicks her in the knee. Bay chokeslams her. Dani does hell's gate and Bay powerbombs her out for 2.
Bay does a neat lift into a powerslam and wins.
Thoughts: It was a good match and they did exactly what they were supposed to do with the big vs small story. Dani had her best showing yet. She did a lot of screaming, she did a lot of the basics well and was a great fiery underdog. She honestly looked like someone out of AJW at times. Bayley was fine as usual but mostly sold here and didn't get tons of offense in. The crowd chanted "this is awesome" and I had no issues with this.
Bayley says the match was a banger and the best of her career so far. Bayley says she had tears in her eyes and says it was emotion and aggression. Taker says they delivered the best match of either season and he said it made the decision more difficult.
The Undertaker now has to pick one to stay and go. Taker said he got out of the chair and had no idea where he was going, so he took a lot of time to find clarity. Dani says her hands shook non-stop and Bay said her muscles were clinched. Taker says it was one of the hardest decisions. He picks Dani to advance. He says what she did is only the beginning. Taker says she will be so special and says he can't put her out there before she's ready. He says this is only the beginning.
Thoughts: This show is a work and doesn't really matter. People aren't going home, they just aren't going to be on the show until the next season. Dani was better here so I'd pick her. Both girls are already good enough for NXT or Evolve. Dani should be a contender for the LFG Championship this year.
Bay cries. She said she gave everything she had and it wasn't enough. She says Taker's plans for her are different and her journey can't be rushed.
Bubba talks to Zena and Haze. He has them face each other. He asks Zena if she's tired of hearing everyone say how she should have won. He says he's tired of saying it. He says the perception is Zena is so much better than Haze. He asks how many points each scored and they said they both scored 1 point.
Zena says the legends look for more from her and it's easy for Haze to show progression as she started from the ground up. Haze says Zena was the best coming in and she says she's turning heads. She says she wasn't supposed to win points or get mentioned. She says people tell her when they face her, it's the most fun match they had. Haze says it won't be an easy decision.
Bubba says he could make a case for Haze. He says she stepped up to the plate. He says Zena should have won Season 1. Bubba says Haze has a shot at taking Zena down.
Haze Jameson vs Zena Sterling
Zena tries to steamroller sweep her and does. Zena wristlocks her, Haze ropebreaks saying it's illegal and eye pokes her. She says she's sorry and won't do it again. Haze side headlocks her. Zena gets a pin attempt in and asks for her to be backed up as she breaks.
Haze grabs her by the hair. She complains to the ref and Zena takes her down. Zena side headlocks her. Haze boots her in the gut and running back elbows her. We go to break and return.
Haze stomps her and counts along with the ref. Zena chops her and gets dropkicked. Zena rolls her up for 2. Haze neckbreakers her for 2. Zena chinlocks her. Zena throws her over. Zena lariats her and double underhook suplexes her. Zena backsplashes her. Zena dances and Haze tries to pin her with her feet on the ropes but is caught.
Haze argues with the ref then takes a tilt-a-whirl sideslam. Zena wins.
Thoughts: It was a tough one for Zena as the focus was all on Haze. Haze was very entertaining here as she questioned and argued with the ref a bunch of times and the camera's made sure to pick it up. The match was just average but it was entertaining.
Bubba has to pick a girl to stay and go home. He says he never thought he'd have to make the decision he has to make. He says Haze stepped up to the plate and says Zena was stale (?). He says Haze convinced all of them that they should move forward. Bubba says he believes in Zena. He says she needs to do something and something now. Bubba says Haze is going home but he wants to do a tequila shot with her. Bubba tells Zena to do what she set out to do - win.
Thoughts: Again, it's a work and no one is really leaving. This was a showcase match for Haze and not Zena. Zena's obviously the better pick but Haze has shown potential and is improving.
Haze says she will be a super star and it's destiny.
Summer said she fell on her shoulder in practice and sprained her AC. She says she wants to power through the match.
Michelle McCool says it hurts her heart to even think of letting go of someone. Summer said she didn't tell McCool until the last minute and says she will make sure she's ready.
McCool sits down with Summer Sorrell and Penina Tuilaepa. Summer says she thinks she can do the match. McCool says Summer reminds her of herself. Summer says she's not afraid to have the match. P-Nasty says she's delusion when she doesn't even have 2 arms. P-Nasty said she got all the points. McCool doesn't want her to risk anything. Summer says she can have a match right now and she argues with Penina. McCool says this ends Summer's time here and ends her season. Penina will move on and Summer will not.
Summer says it hurts but she understands. McCool says she couldn't live with it if she got hurt more.
Thoughts: Again, it doesn't really matter. Penina's the better prospect right now but in a year or two, Summer's stock might be higher. Summer's already been on Evolve (and did fine) and Penina should be there or NXT too. Next season could be Summer's season.
Booker T talks to Sirena Linton and Tatyanna Dumas in the ring. Sirena talks about her heard work and effort but says everyone sees it. Tat says she's been hurt but she comes back stronger. She says she makes other people look good and is tired of being overlooked. Sirena says Tat still won't be good enough. Tat tells her to ask what she told Booker when Tat returned. Tat yells at her. Booker says he wants to see the same energy in the match. He says they have one last shot so go get ready and get it done.
Sirena Linton vs Tatyanna Dumas
This is in front of a real crowd.
They lock up. Tat throws her down. Tat rolls her up. Tat hammerlock takedowns her. They both try pins. Tat rolls her up for 2. Tat hits a short arm shoulderblock. SL pulls her throat down over the top rope. SL flying lariats her. SL does a bad looking pendulum into a bodyscissors.
Tat jack knifes her for 2. SL knees her in the gut. Tat is thrown hard into the buckles and goes down. SL does a bronco buster variation in the corner. SL misses a corner charge. Tat shoulders her over. Tat slams her.
SL back elbows her. SL misses a top rope 450. SL ddt's her for the win.
Thoughts: Nobody got hurt here so that's a plus. These are the two worst female wrestlers on the show and expectations were low. It was just a match and nothing else.
Booker T comes out. Booker holds Sirena's arm and says she will advance.
Booker says time off was Tatyanna's worst enemy. He says Sirena has been right on the money.
Thoughts: Neither one of these girls are winning or getting to the main roster anytime soon. Neither are ready but Sirena's a lot further along than Tatyanna is. I do not see anything Tatyanna.
Overall thoughts: Eliminations made this episode more interesting even if they are all works and nobody is really getting cut. Dani and Bayley had a good match and one of the better matches on the show. Haze had a good showing against Zena and Zena didn't get to do a lot in her match. Sirena/Tatyanna was just a match. It was an okay episode and I thought Dani and Haze impressed.
