We are in Boston, MA. Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett are on commentary.

We see various wrestlers arrive.

Solo Sikoa and the MFT's talk in the ring. Solo says The MFT's are in the building and they run SD. Solo says too bad if you don't like it. Solo said they stomped out Sami Zayn on Raw. He says they also stomped out Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu. Solo asks if anyone in the back wants to come out then Sami Zayn comes out.

Sami says he just wants to talk and asks if they want to talk or not. Sami said everyone heard him talk about becoming a world champ. He said if he had beaten Rusev, he could have fought for the title at Clash in Paris. He says that won't happen now. He said he was furious but he felt liberated. Sami says he too focused on that and thanks Solo. Solo says he's welcome and says anytime. He says he realized there's so many other things he hadn't done yet. He says becomes the world title, there's one other title he never held and it's the United States Title.

Solo says he won't hold it anytime soon and he can use his big eyeballs to look anytime he wants. Solo says he's not even on SD and tells him to get the hell out. Solo says he never wants to see him ever again. Sami says he's now officially on Smackdown. He said Solo took something away from him and now now he's coming for the US Title and him. Solo tries to hit him, Sami fights back and is group beaten.

Jimmy Uso comes out to help and gets dropped. Jacob Fatu comes out to help. The three faces take out Talla Tonga and knock him over the top.

Nick Aldis comes out. He welcomes Sami to the blue brand and says he will be in the main. He says it'll be 3 MFT's vs Sami, Fatu and Jimmy.

Thoughts: I think that puts the kibosh on Sami becoming world champ anytime soon. The US Title is quite a step down. Solo was kind of entertaining here and I think he maybe has a calling as some kind of entertaining type of character.

Byron interviews The Secret Hervice. Green says she broke up a b-day celebration and took a birthday cake to the face. She says she could have been injured. Piper says nobody messes with their hero and gets away with it. Alba says Alexa will be taken out and The Hervice will confiscate the tag titles.

Alexa Bliss vs Piper Niven

AB holds Lily up. PN shoulders her over and stomps her. AB hits forearms. PB tells her crew to grab the Lily doll then Charlotte Flair backs them up. AB hits forearms then gets on her back with a sleeper. PN throws her over.

PN hits AB then chokes her on the ropes. PN hits a black hole slam and poses. We go to PiP break and return. AB hits shots and basement dropkicks her. AB rolling sentons her then headhunters her for 2.

PN headbutts her then corner cannonballs her. PN misses a 2nd rope vader bomb. AB ddt's her. Green tries to distract AB on the apron and Flair pulls Green off the apron. AB fights off Alba and rolls up PN to win.

Thoughts: There wasn't a lot to this and it wasn't that great. It's not like they did anything wrong but there was just nothing memorable or great here.

The heels come in after and Flair fights them off. Piper bodyblocks then sentons Flair. Flair is then sent into the post and thrown over the timekeeper's rail. 

Bliss takes a gori bomb then a vader bomb. 

Jade Cargill and Tiffany Stratton argue in front of Nick Aldis about Jade wanting a title shot. Nia Jax walks in. She says Jade won QOTR and didn't have what it took to be a champ. Nia says she should follow back so she can handle Tiff. Tiff says the story may be different but the outcome will be the same. She says if she has to prove it to Jade or Nia, then bring it.

We get an ad for AAA Triplemania tomorrow. Nino Hamburguesa, Dominik Mysterio, Lola Vice, Los Garza and Natalya will be in action. 

Melo Don't Miz (The Miz and Carmelo Hayes) vs Fraxiom (Axiom and Nathan Frazer)

We see Joe Gacy in the crowd and Miz notices them. Ax wristlocks Miz. Miz cartwheels out then Ax rolls out of a wristlock. We then see Dexter Lumis in the crowd. Ax monkey flips Miz then Miz monkey flips him. Ax headscissors him then hits a big slam.

NF side headlocks Miz. Miz avoids a kick and tags out. NF armdrags Melo several times. NF spinning enzugiri's him then low ddt's him. Ax dropkicks Miz out then topes him. NF topes Melo. Frax then topes the other person on the second tope.

We go to break and return. Melo chinlocks Ax then superkicks him. Ax hurricanrana's him off a tiger driver attempt. Melo tiger drivers Ax for 2. Ax dropkicks Melo. NF top rope double axe handles Miz then slingblades him. NF running ssp's Miz for 2.

NF misses a phoenix splash and he rolls up Miz for 2. Miz facekicks him. NF dropkicks Melo then enzugiri's Miz. Melo is on the 2nd rope and NF flipping russian legsweeps him for 2.

Melo superkicks NF. Melo back elbows Ax. Melo is stuck up top. Ax top rope spanish flies Melo then NF top rope spanish flies Melo for 2 when Miz breaks it up. Miz jumps off of NF's back and ddt's Ax.
Melo is up top and NF enzugiri's him. Mix ddt's Ax on the apron. NF goes for a top rope superplex but Melo top rope cutters him. Melo tags himself in and hits a skull crushing finale on NF and pins him.

Thoughts: There wasn't a lot of selling here as Melo survived a 2nd rope flipping russian legsweep and a top rope spanish fly. The action was absolutely lightning quick here and tough to even follow at times. Miz stealing the pin should lead to something. It's odd to see Melo and Miz back together after they got forgotten about for months. 

Kiana James talks to Tiffany Stratton in the back. She says Nia and Jade are trying to get another shot at Tiff's title. KJ advises Tiff to get some back-up and offers herself and Giulia. She says she also offers brand expansion including a custom pink title. She hands her a business card. Tiff says she's champ and doesn't need back up. KJ says if you aren't with them, you are against them. She says Tiff is undefeated because she never fought Giulia. She says just because Giulia has a title, it doesn't mean she can't take Tiff's.

Michin walks in and says Kiana is getting ahead of herself. Michin says she has Giulia next and KJ says it'll be under advisement.

Drew McIntyre comes out to talk. Drew says everyone asks him why he claymore'd Cody through the commentary table last week. Drew then shows us the clip of it.

Drew says he didn't attack Cody Rhodes and says your eyes are lying to you. Drew asks what the medical update is to Joe Tessitore and he says there is none. Drew asks if management is hiding it. Drew says he doesn't hate Cody but feels bad for him as he cares about what management and the fans think. He says he was Cody 5 years ago and then he evolved.

Drew says you gotta get yours while you can. He says he earned it. He says he wants it for him and the big paycheck. He says Cody needs the title. Drew says he didn't attack Cody but Cody attacked him. 

Drew then re-enacts what happened with Cody last week. Drew says Cody was going to put him through a table and take him out so he defended himself. He says he's the real nightmare and he will do violent things if you provoke him.

The Street Profits and B-Fab are interviewed in the back. The MFT's interrupt when Byron brings up a tag title match. Solo says when they get done with Fatu/Sami/Jimmy, they will have to go through them if they want the tag titles. Dawkins says they won't stop them from what they do best. Ford says it doesn't matter what tag team it is, they still want smoke. Solo then asks if Talla is good as he's looking behind. We then see a Wyatt Sicks member (maybe Rowan) in the back.

DIY (Tomasso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano) vs The Stret Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins)

Ford dropkicks TC. TC facekicks him. Ford takes corner attacks including a running knee to the face. JG stomps on Ford in the corner. AD tags in. He hits punches on TC then flying back elbows him. JG is flapjacked then AD spinning splashes and spinning enzugiri's TC.

AD is pumping knee'd off the apron by TC. JG then superkicks AD from the apron. DIY poses as we go to PiP break. We return and AD neckbreakers JG. Ford top rope crossbodies TC then lariats him many times. JG takes a fameasser from Ford then Ford zigzag's TC.

Ford standing moonsaults TC for 2. TC is popped up into a german for 2. Ford kicks JG from the apron. Candace LeRae sends B-Fab into the steps outside. Ford ducks a TC lariat then is hit with a pumping knee. Ford takes an angel's wings + a superkick for 2. JG is rammed into TC then Ford is back body dropped outside onto TC. JG goes for a tope and is hit by Ford. LeRae flying headscissors Ford off the apron onto AD. JD slingshot ddt's Ford for 2. 

B-Fab hits a flying shot on LeRae outside. Ford rolls up TC for 2 then jumping knees him. TC takes a sky high then a top rope Ford frogsplash. AD pins TC.

Thoughts: It was similar to tag earlier with lots of fast paced action and none of it really meaning a thing. It was never boring and if you stopped paying attention for a second, you missed something. The Profits win and it seems like we could see a mixed tag come out of this.

The Motor City Machine Guns talk to Nick Aldis in the back. Melo comes in. He asks what he has to do to get a US Title shot. The Miz then comes in and apologizes for Melo. Miz tells Melo to slow down. The Guns get mad and Sabin says Miz is manipulating Melo. Miz says Melo can't be manipulated as he's watching his back. Miz calls then The Motor City Squirt Guns. Alex says they aren't close to being on their level. Aldis says he has a simple solution. Miz says a US Title match. Aldis says it's The Gun's vs Miz/Melo next week. Miz says that's what they wanted and Melo says that's what Miz wanted.

Byron interviews R-Truth. Truth seems to be acting foofy again. He says he feels good about Cena's attitude change. He says we got out childhood hero back. Aleister Black comes in. He says with friends like Truth, who needs enemies? Truth asks him how he will tell him who he is. Black says he guesses he will see him last week then Truth says he must have forgot.

Fatu, Sami and Jimmy are in the back. Sami says it means a lot for them to have his back out there. Fatu says he did it to help his brother and says he doesn't know Sami like that. Sami says he doesn't know him like that. Sami says Jimmy is his brother too and says if you're cool with him, then you're cool with me. Fatu tells him to stay out of his way then.

Sami Zayn, Jacob Fatu and Jimmy Uso vs The MFT's (Solo Sikoa, Tanga Loa and JC Mateo)

JC backs up Uos in the corner and pounds on him. JC headbutts him. Uso goes up and over then superkicks him in the gut. Uso spinning enzugiri's him. Sami 2nd rope double axe handles JC's arm. Loa hits punches on Sami in the corner then Solo chokes Sami.

Sami is thrown out and Talla facekicks him outside. We go to break and return. Solo hits mounted punches on Sami. Solo bangs Sami's head off the mat. JC misses a flying elbow in the corner. Solo blocks Sami's tag.

Solo chops Sami. Sami hits punches on Solo from the top rope then tornado ddt's him. Fatu gets in and hits lariats on Loa. Fatu sentons him then hits a corner splash. Fatu hits mounted headbutts in the corner then corner hip attacks Loa.

Fatu lariats JC over the top then Uso suicide dives JC over the top. Fatu pop-up samoan drops Loa for 2. Fatu tries a swanton but Solo gets his knees up. Solo top rope splashes Fatu for 2. Fatu superkicks Solo and Solo superkicks back. Fatu flying lariats Solo.

Fatu tags in Sami. Sami blue thunders Solo. JC hits mounted shots on Sami. Uso superkicks JC. Loa forearms Uso then Fatu hits superkicks. Fatu topes Talla over the commentary table. Sami blocks Solo's samoan spike. Solo is explodered into the the buckles. Sami corner facekicks Solo and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a decent main as expected. There was nothing wrong with and the faces got some highlights in before winning as expected. It wasn't anything too memorable though and it really was one of the weakest main eventers ever in SD history starpower wise.

Fatu and Samu hug it out and celebrate after. Sami then does Fatu's dance. 

Overall thoughts: It was a very weak SD starpower wise with Drew being the biggest star here and not even being in action. Bliss/Piper was a match and not much else. Both Miz/Melo vs Fraxiom and The Profits/DIY were very fast paced tags where little was sold or meant anything. The main was fine and entertaining but nothing too memorable. I'd give this one a 5 out of 10 as they kind of took the night off here and you could have easily skipped this one.
