We are in Cincinnati, Ohio.

MJF and Adam Page come out to talk. MJF is wearing his newly won CMLL title. MJF says they are two day-one AEW stars. He says Page is most vulnerable when he is angry and he intends to make him angry. He says Page is only standing because he didn't break him. Page says MJF can't break him any more than he can break out of his edgelord b-movie villain routine. MJF also called him Seabiscuit and Page says Seabiscuit wins at the end of his movie.

Page says MJF would have to either beat him or use his casino gauntlet contract to get a title shot and he tells him to go home if he doesn't plan to do either. Page says MJF doesn't have the fiber and gut to beat him. MJF says he's not the problem, Page is. MJF says Page is treated like he's perfect and says screw him.

MJF says he will prove Page is nothing more than a fraud. He says Page is a depressed, alcoholic little boy. MJF says at least he is real unlike Page. MJF says he will take off Page's sheep clothing and says he will crucify Page (making a bunch of mean spirited religions comments in the process).

Page says he won't make excuses like MJF would. Page says MJF has no match at Forbidden Door and no match with him, just a contract. He says MJF won't take his shot as he's afraid. Page tells him to take his shot. He says AEW is about going all in and tells MJF to take his shot. Page calls him a coward and tells him to sign the contract. MJF then gets mad, it gets bleeped out and he says he will execute the contract. Page calls him a dumb@ss and says he will see him at Forbidden Door.

Thoughts: I feel like we've seen this angle before with MJF having all the cards then giving them up due to being angry.

Mox, Yuta and Shafir are outside. Mox says whatever Darby things is happening at Forbidden Door isn't happening.

Jon Moxley vs Kevin Knight

KK running facekicks him then hits punches and boots in the corner. Mox chokes him. KK armdrags him then Mox headscissors him. They trade chops. KK hits forearms and Mox forearms back.

KK forearms Mox outside. Mox hits punches on KK outside Mox bangs KK's head off the commentary table. Mox is pushed into the steps. KK runs, steps up on the apron and dropkicks him. KK springboard dropkicks Mox. KK flying lariats Mox on the ramp and hits mounted punches on the ramp. KK dives off the ramp at Mox but goes into the rails. 

We go to PiP break and return. Mox does a shcolar collar. Mox stomps on KK. They trade forearms. KK hits forearms. Mox bites KK's arm. KK dropkicks him. KK hits lariats. KK goes up and over then slams him. KK splashes him for 2.

KK dropkicks Mox in the cornerMox rakes KK's back and his eyes. KK jumps up top and superplexes Mox for 2. Mox cutters him. KK jack knifes him for 2. KK superkicks him then sitout spinebusters him for 2. KK plancha's Mox outside.

KK springboards, Mox boots him then KK ddt's Mox. KK tries a top rope 180 splash and Mox gets his knees up. Mox then does a weird sleeper on the mat and submits him.

Thoughts: It was your usual AEW match where the star takes forever to beat someone who is way below him. KK didn't have the cleanest night ever but I guess it was fine. This should have went half the time it ended up going though.

Mike Bailey tries to break up Mox's choke after. Yuta then beats up on Mike and KK. Shafir kicks Mike outside. Darby Allin then comes on the stage with a skateboard and a body bag. KK dropkicks Mox out. Darby hits Yuta with the skateboard and double stomps the skateboard into him. Darby then puts Yuta in the bodybag. Darby goes up top, Claudio Castagnoli comes out and beats up on Darby. 

Claudio suplexes Darby then puts him in the body bag. CC then spinning UFO drops Darby. The heels put a chair around Darby's neck. Will Ospreay comes out and beats up Claudio. He sends him over the rail. Will fights off Yuta and the heels back off.

Will gets on the mic after. He says he will snap Mox's neck. He says if Mox doesn't want to face Darby at Forbidden Door, they can have a lights out steel cage tag match.

Mercedes Mone, Thekla and Skye Blue vs Alex Windsor, Queen Aminata and Willow Nightingale

Toni Stom is in one of the balconies then Athena is in another.

Alex snapmares Skye and drops her on a powerbomb. Alex shoulders Skye over. Willow bangs Skye's head off the buckles and hits corner lariats. Willow short arm clotheslines her for 2. Mone bangs Queen's face off the mat.

Queen spinning bubba bomb's Mone. Queen bangs Mone's face off her butt. Alex slams Mone. Mone codebreakers her. We go to PiP break and return. Willow 2nd rope dropkicks Thek. Willow catches Skye off the 2nd rope then she death valley drivers her. Queen spinning fisherman's neckbreakers Thek. Alex hits headbutts and blue thunders Skye.

The heels are in the corner and take a corner lariat and a corner cannonball. Queen does a running side slam on Thek then she headbutts Hart off the apron. Thek facekicks Queen between the ropes twice.

Alex russian legsweeps then lariats Mone for 2. Alex sharpshooters Mone and Mone tags out while in it. Mone backcrackers Alex. Willow pounces Mone then takes a spinning ddt from Skye. Queen headbutts Skye. Thek ducks a lariat and then takes a headbutt from Queen.

Alex rolls up Skye for 2. Alex spinebusters her then submits Skye with a sharpshooter.

Thoughts: The work was fine in this one and I was surprised to see Alex get the win. They kept this one moving and there weren't a lot of breaks in the action. Queen hit a bunch of headbutts in this one.

Athena and Toni fight on the balcony. The girls in the ring fight to the back. Mone then pounds on Alex in the ring and bangs her head off the buckles. Athena and Toni fight on the ramp and Toni is superkicked there. Toni pounds on Athena and Alex knocks over Mone. 

Toni says they can take the high road but her and Alex will take the low road. Toni then makes a sexual pun and says let's tango.

Renee interviews Will Ospreay. Will says he made the match without Tony Khan's blessing. He said he called someone in Japan . He says it'll be him, Darby, Hiroshi Tanahashi and some others who he doesn't know yet on his team for the cage match. He is asked about his neck. He says he wants to talk to Renee's husband next week on Dynamite.

Thoughts: They just announced the cage match and they are already watering it down with Tanahashi, who is not involved in this feud.

Adam Copeland vs Stokeley Hathaway

Stoke tries to run to the back but security stops him. Stoke tries a spear and Cope barely moves. Stoke tries another and gets nowhere with it. Stoke offers a fist bump. Cope obliges then punches him out.

They go outside. Cope grabs a mic and sends Stoke into the rails. He asks someone what they think of Stoke and he says he's short, bald and gets no h*es. Cope asks if there are any h*es in the house. He asks a girl if Stoke has any chance of getting her and she says no.

Stoke is thrown back in. Cope spears Stoke. FTR get on the ramp but they aren't allowed to get involved. Cope hits another spear on Stoke. He gets on the mic and asks if he should just pin Stoke. Cope says FTR don't care about Stoke at all. Dax gets near the ropes and Cope spears him through the ropes. Cope beats up on FTR and lariats them over the top.

Cope goes for another spear and Stoke throws powder at Cope.

Thoughts: It was what it should have been with Cope beating up easily on Stoke and Stoke eventually finding a way out of it. 

Cope has more powder put in his eyes and is beaten up by FTR. Christian Cage's music hits. He comes out with a 2x4 with spikes on it. Nick Wayne follows and duels with Christian. Nick then slides out to avoid being hit. Kip Sabian comes in and Cope spears him.  

Christian nearly hits Cope and they stare at each other. Christian gives the spike 2x4 to Cope. Cope then hugs him.

We get a video of the New York sky (I think) and we see Hook's logo there. 

We get a bunch of flames shooting out of the stage and someone on the PA says they have no music for The Young Bucks. The Bucks then get some graphics that make fun of them and the crowd chants "jobbers".

The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and The Don Callis Family (Kyle Fletcher and Josh Alexander) vs Tomohiro Ishii, Hologram, Brody King and Hiromu Takahashi

HT = Hiromu Takahashi

Hiromu is the mystery partner. HT and Kyle trade shots. Kyle elbows him in the neck then HT dropkicks him. Holo top rope crossbodies The Bucks. Brody lariats a Buck over the top and everyone fights outside. King takes a double superkick on the floor then The Bucks double superkick the announcer Justin Roberts. Holo then corkscrew dives onto the heels.

We go to PiP break and return. Kyle superkicks King. King double lariats all 4 opponents. King corner splashes Josh and Kyle. Tony Schiavone says The Bucks are fined $10,000 and he'll have to do announcing, which he says is the first time since 1989. King does a cannonball off the apron the takes a double superkick on the apron. Josh crossbodies King's back on the apron.

King's back is rammed into the apron. Kyle stomps on King. King drops Kyle with a forearm. Ishii backdrops Josh then he double lariats The Bucks. Ishii germans Kyle. HT holds Kyle on the apron for an Ishii lariat. HT then crossbodies Kyle off the apron. Ishii lariats Kyle for 2.

Ishii sliding lariats Kyle. Holo rope walk 450's but Kyle gets his knees up. Ishii is superkicked then King is double superkicked. A Buck is popped up into a dropkick on King. Holo takes a double superkick. Josh dropping slams HT on the apron. Holo takes a double stomp on the ropes into a sitout powerbomb. King is lariated and caught by Kyle on the ramp. King then takes a walk up the buckles spike tombstone on the ramp by a Buck.

We go to PiP break and return. Holo is back body dropped and he hits a hurricanrana off of it. Holo then poisonrana's the other Buck and standing spanish flies Kyle. HT makes a Buck headscissor Kyle then Josh. HT double dropkicks The Bucks. HT dropkicks Josh into Kyle then basement dropkicks Kyle.

HT takes a double team sliced bread then a running knee. Josh germans HT. Kyle tombstones HT for 2. HT is facekicked by Kyle. HT then lariats him. Josh forearms HT then HT flatliners him off the casadora for 2. Kyle superkicks Ishii off the apron. King running lariats Kyle then topes him outside. A Buck dropkicks King through the ropes and the other Buck also dives on King outside. Holo rope walk flip dives The Bucks outside.

HT superkicks Josh then he hits an AA into a side slam to win.

Thoughts: I didn't like it. It was similar to the other recent Young Bucks tags with them doing all of their flying moves and nobody really selling anything. Why King took so much offense here when he was the biggest guy on the team is unknown. This also went a lot longer than it needed to.

Renee goes to talk but there's audio issues and we can't hear her. We go to the commentators then Renee's mic starts working. Renee talks to Prince Nana and Swerve Strickland on the stage.

Swerve says we all go through hard times but it won't stop him from challenging Okada for the Unified Title. Kazuchika Okada comes out. Okada says Swerve has no chance against him with his hurt knee. He says he might as well give up now. Swerve says, "who's house?". Okada calls him a b!tch. Swerve pushes him on the ramp and security comes out. 

The Death Riders are interviewed in the back. Mox hears he will be facing Tanahashi in the cage match. Mox's crew then walks past and Mox goes to talk to The Young Bucks behind closed doors.

Tony Schiavone is in the ring he says Copeland and Christian will fight Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian at Forbidden Door and in the lights out steel cage match, it'll be Mox, Gabe Kidd, Claudio and The Young Bucks vs Ospreay, Omega, Ibushi, Tanahashi and Darby.

The Opps (Samoa Joe, Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata) vs LFI (Rush, The Beast Mortos and Dralistico)

This is a random main. Mortos recently started dating Mercedes Mone and is now main eventing regularly...

Hobbs and Mort trade forearms. Mort rolls over his back then Hobbs flying shoulders him. Dral's springboard is caught by Hobbs and Hobbs throws him from the slam position. Joe hits punches on Dral in the corner and corner enzugiri's him. KS comes in and is hit by LFI. KS takes corner attacks then a triple basement dropkick.

We go to PiP break (at 9:57pm, 3 minutes before the show is supposed to end) and return. 

LFI group stomp KS. Dral drives KS' knee into the mat. Mort twists KS' neck with his feet. Rush boots KS in the arm then stomps on him in the corner. Rush then boots him in the face in the corner. Rush and KS trade. KS boots Rush out of the corner and hits some bad shots. Rush chops him and KS hits bad shots in the corner.

KS and Rush trade forearms. Rush chops him. KS hits an STO. Hobbs comes in and hits lariats on the heels. Hobbs double splashes the heels in the corner. Hobbs spinebusters Mort for 2.

Joe and Dral fight. Dral springboards then Joe catches him with a choke. Dral is out and Joe wins.

Thoughts: Shibata had some horrible strikes here. The faces won this random one as expected and it was average. 

Adam Page is interviewed as he leaves. He gets hit from behind by MJF. MJF throws him into a car and pounds on him. Page's head is banged off a car. MJF says he hasn't seen nothin' yet.

Overall thoughts: It was a heavy wrestling show. Mox/Knight went too long when it shouldn't have. The women's trios match was fine. Copeland/Stokeley was what it should have been. The Young Bucks had their usual random match with a million cool moves that didn't mean anything. The main was random and I don't know why it was put in the main. Christian rejoined with Copeland and we got a random steel cage match set up for Forbidden Door. I'd give this one a 5 out of 10 as there was nothing that great on here and they are kind of rushing to get stuff ready before Forbidden Door, which is only a week away.
