We are in Kalamazoo, MI.

Vince McMahon is there by himself. He says Mr. Perfect has to go to the ring with Flair and isn't there. He makes tape puns as that's where a type of tape was made and says Ric learned that you can run but can't hide from Macho.

Ric Flair vs Ron Cumberledge

Ric side headlock takeovers him and clean breaks him on the ropes. Ric hits a shot to the gut and chops him. Ric punches him in the face then chops him down. Ric backdrops him then submits him with a figure four.

Thoughts: It was all squash here with Ric winning easily. There wasn't much of note in this one.

WWF Update

Mean Gene Okerlund shows us clips from some Wrestlemania VIII events. He says Wrestlemania VIII is now available on VHS.

The British Bulldog vs Kevin Kruger

Mr. Perfect has returned to commentary. Davey hiptosses and hits armdrags on Kev. He then slams him. Davey hits a delayed suplex. Kevin hits shots to the gut. Davey hits a corner lariat then hits a running powerslam for the win.

Thoughts: It was another quick squash here. Kevin got nothing in before going down.

We get an ad for WBF Bodystars.

The Beverly Brothers (Beau and Blake Beverly) vs Eric Collins and Mike Freedom

The Genius does a poem before the match. He says he can't tolerate sissies and says The LOD and Paul Ellering could use some masculinity.

Blake boots and clubs on Mike. Mike takes a powerslam. The Bev's and The Genius do an inset promo on The LOD. Beau says everyone knows they are better than LOS - Legion of Sissies. Mike is bridged on the top rope and his back is butt dropped. Beau 2nd rope diving neck pulls Mike.

Beau double underhook suplexes Eric. Eric takes a shaker heights spike and The Genius gets in the ring to celebrate before it even ends.

Thoughts: It was all squash as expected here. The jobbers got nothing in.

The Bev's paint Eric's face after and write "LOS" (Legion of Sissies) on his chest. They say Eric is another LOS member and say we have Animal, Hawk and now "Chicken".

Thoughts: It's not exactly the greatest material ever but at least The Bev's are getting to do something and giving the viewer a reason to dislike them.

WWF Event Center

Sean Mooney talks the next Boston Garden show with Bret/Shawn and Sid/Warrior. Sid Justice and Harvey Wippleman do a promo. Sid asks Warrior how it feels to fear somebody. He says Warrior has nightmares hwen he goes to sleep. Sid says not to let the fear bother you as it can do your fear some good and keep you out of trouble. He says if Warrior sticks his nose in his business one more time, he will crush his skull into a thousand pieces. 

The Ultimate Warrior does a promo. He says if knew the man who rules the world, he'd know fear. He says he knows such man or being though and won't register that fear. He says they only get themselves in trouble and never register fear. 

We see a video on Crush sitting on some production stuff. He said his mom told him to mind his manners as a kid. We then see a kid eating cookies and then spilling milk all over the table. He says he's full grown now. He calls out Mountie, Sid, Repo and asks who will make him mind his manners now.

Thoughts: This was not good and I have no idea what this was supposed to accomplish.

Shawn Michaels vs George Anderson

GA does a side headlock then takes punches in the corner. Shawn goes up and over then tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him. Bret Hart does an inset promo. Bret says Shawn has to beat him to polish his belt and said he'd never let him tarnish the IC belt.

Shawn throws GA out. Sherri distracts GA then Shawn dives on him outside. Shawn superkicks him in the ring and hits a high angle backdrop for the win.

Thoughts: Shawn got the win easy as expected. Shawn is still using a plain backdrop as his finisher and we know that won't last too long.

WWF Event Center

Sean talks about the AlMacs Food Festival '92 and says The Bushwhackers will be there. He says not to get too close.

The Repo Man does a promo on The British Bulldog. He says the Bulldog name drives him crazy. He says sometimes he's towing a care and hears one. He says there's one thing to do with a bulldog and that's what he does to dogs - kick them in the face and put the rope around their neck.

The Legion of Doom and Paul Ellering do a promo. Paul says he's the bad apple and has come to light the fire. He says nothing lights the fire like revenge and revenge is a dish best served cold. Animal says they will seek and destroy The Beverly Brothers. Hawk says they won't be the rich and famous when they are done with them, but the down and out.

Sgt. Slaughter vs The Brooklyn Brawler

Brawler gets some corner spears in and is lariated. Sarge hits punches, Brawler leapfrogs him then is lariated. Sarge hits another lariat then stomps him. Sarge does an inset promo. He says Mountie tells people he is an international hero. Sarge says he will get his man and says Mountie will be an international disgrace and maggot.

Sarge hits knees to the gut then gutbusters Brawler. Sarge then double stomps his gut. Sarge elbows him in the gut then cobra clutches Brawler to win.

Thoughts: Brawler got a little in here before losing. I was kind of surprised he could leapfrog Sarge. Sarge vs Mountie makes sense as a feud I guess. 

Mean Gene interviews Sid Justice and Harvey Wippleman on the stage. 

Sid says Warrior was out here with stupid brats last week. He says Warrior said to be a leader you must have friends. Sid says he needs no friends as everyone in the WWF fears him. Sid says Warrior tried to save Hulk but couldn't. He says he made sure Mania was Hulk's last match and the end of Hulkamania. He asks who will save Warrior from Sid. He says he will see to it that Warrior will have has last match and asks who will save Warrior from that? Sid then says he rules the world.

Howard Finkel tells us that Shawn Michaels has left the building.

The Natural Disasters (Earthquake and Typhoon) vs Kent Carlson and Tom "Rocky" Stone

Perfect calls The Disasters "The Big Dummies of the WWF" and says Jimmy Hart proved it at Mania.

Quake clubs Kent then jumping kicks him. Quake belly to belly suplexes him then elbow drops his back. Money Inc do an inset promo. They say The Disasters are crying over spilled milk. They said they would leave Mania with the titles and they did.

Ty squashes Kent on the ropes then in the corner. Quake squashes Ty while he's on Kent in the corner. Tom is then put in front of Kent and Quake splashes them all. Quake powerslams Kent. Quake butt drops Kent then Ty splashes Kent to win.

Thoughts: It was business as usual for The ND's with them squashing and splashing their opponents and their foes getting zippo in.

WWF Event Center

Sean hypes up Sunday's Boston Garden show. Bret Hart does a promo on Shawn Michaels. He said all he thought about was winning the IC Title. He says Shawn is first in line but he doesn't know what cool is until he faces him. Bret says Shawn is up against the best and the best technical wrestler in the WWF.

Shawn Michaels and Sherri do a promo. Shawn says Bret is back on top in the WWF. He says Bret feels satisfied with the IC Title but it will cause his downfall. Shawn says he's not satisfied and says Bret has something he wants. Shawn says there's only one guy that has more than Bret and it's him. 

The Berzerker vs The Undertaker

Mr. Fuji grabs Taker's urn. Berzerker nails Paul Bearer and then Taker with his shield. Berz then hits Taker with his sword and tries to stab him but misses. Berz's sword is stuck in the mat. They collide and Berz lariats Taker over the top. Taker lands on his feet, grabs Fuji then is nailed off the apron. Taker's head is banged off the apron then he is sent into the post. Berz then piledrivers Taker on the exposed floor. Berz then takes his shirt off.

Paul raises Taker up with the urn and stalks Berz to the back. 

Thoughts: Sadly we didn't get a match here but the angle was pretty wild and fun. I do worry they are putting Taker over too hard though as he's surviving piledrivers on the floor, ddt's chair and shield shots and it doesn't seem like anything can really put him down at the moment.

Skinner is fighting The Ultimate Warrior next week. We get promos from both guys. Skin says everyone is scared of Warrior. He says he will beat Warrior's brains out and find out that he is scared of no one. Warrior says he walked in darker places and have felt nastier things than the taste of Skinner's tobacco. He says Skinner will fall like others before to the power of The Warrior.

Overall thoughts: As usual, there was nothing of note going on wrestling wise. The Berzerker/Undertaker segment was cool though and The Bev's painting jobbers like the LOD is something different. Say what you will about this one, but they really do have their programs set up going forward and everyone has a clear direction and feud at the moment. You don't really need to see anything here except the Berzerker/Taker segment.
