Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/06/wwf-superstars-of-wrestling-441992.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/07/wwf-superstars-of-wrestling-4181992.html

Wrestlemania VIII was 6 days ago. We are in Mobile, Alabama. Mr. Perfect and Vince McMahon are our hosts.

Vince talks about The Ultimate Warrior returning and says Perfect had to be surprised Macho Man becoming champ. Perfect said Macho cheated (and he did) and says he is nothing more than a cheater. He says all you have to do is look at his wife and you have a pair of cheaters.

We see clips from Mania. We then see Papa Shango hanging out Sid justice's locker room prior to the main. He's playing with fire and laughing. We then see clips of Hulk vs Sid with Warrior returning.

Sid Justice and Harvey Wippleman talk after. Sid says he was close to ending Hulkamania then The Ultimate Warrior got involved. He says Warrior won't get away with it and begs him to come meet him face to face.

The Ultimate Warrior does a promo. He says it was more than vision. He says he was on his throne in Parts Unknown since Summerslam, surrounded by Warriors. He said Hulk spoke to him to take his forces to Wrestlemania.

Owen Hart vs Barry Horowitz

They lock up and wristlock each other. Owen headflips out and wristlocks him. They do a double knuckle lock then Owen jumps up to the rope, flips and hiptosses him. Owen dropkicks and armdrags him. Vince tells us Owen has been teaming up with Koko B. Ware lately which is news to me. Owen legdrops the arm then hits a belly to belly suplex. Owen then top rope splashes Barry to win.

Thoughts: It was a very athletic squash here and it was definitely different from the usual squash on this show. Owen looked good and definitely stuck out.

Papa Shango vs Mike Casey

Perfect says him and Flair have been ripped off. Vince says Papa put a curse on Hulk and says The Undertaker might have Papa's number.

Papa clubs on Mike then chokes him. Papa hits a shot to the gut then slams him. Papa elbow drops him. Papa hits a hiptoss then does a shoulderbeaker for the win.

Thoughts:
It was all squash here. Perfect talked about Flair vs Macho and Vince pushed the idea of The Undertaker vs Papa Shango.

We get an ad for WBF Body Stars with Lex Luger talking.

WWF Event Center

Sean Mooney hypes up 4/26/92 Boston Garden show. He says The Ultimate Warrior will be in action vs Sid Justice and Bret will face Shawn Michaels. Shawn Michaels and Sensational Sherri do a promo. Shawn says people say he's conceited. He says he talks in facts and deals in reality. He says he's the hottest looking dude in the WWF and says he used Tito Santana as a stepping stone. He says he's gunning for Bret Hart as he's the best athlete in the WWF.

Bret Hart does a promo. He said Mania was the toughest night of his life. He says it's fine that Shawn Michaels wants a shot. He said he doesn't think of the cool high flyer Shawn used to be, he says he seems him as the conceited jerk he is now.

We get another Nailz video. He says Boss Man put him away and he's getting out. He tells Boss to get ready to do lock up with him. We still don't get to see Nailz here.

Sgt. Slaughter and "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan vs Doug Sommers and Larry Stevenson

Jim hits forearms on Doug in the corner then spinning slams him. Larry gets in and his head is banged off the buckles. Jim hits a nice lariat on him. Sarge lariats Larry then back body drops him. Jim running lariats Larry and pins him.

Thoughts: It was a quick squash with Jim hitting some decent lariats. We didn't get to see much of Doug here.

WWF Update

Mean Gene says we have a new WWF champ in Macho Man and says it was one of the greatest title belts in WWF history. Gene says Flair attacked Macho's leg during the match. We then see clips of the match.

Mr. Perfect and Ric Flair do a promo. Perfect says he has never seen such a ripoff. He says Macho pulled the tights and calls him a cheater like his old lady. Flair says we have a breakdown in communication. Flair says all Macho has done is open up the biggest case of dynamite on this earth with Perfect and Flair side by side. Flair says Macho's the champ for the moment. He says Macho did it once but now he has to do it again. Flair tells Liz he will kiss her one more time.

Shawn Michaels vs Dale Wolfe

The two shove each other. Shawn slaps him and runs. Dale chases him then is stomped when he gets in. Shawn tilt-a-whirl backbreakers him then superkicks him. Shawn backdrops Dale and wins.

Thoughts: It was a quick one with Shawn using a regular backdrop as his finisher here.

We see Paul Ellering in an alley in Chicago. He says this is where The LOD began and where they feel at home. He says this is where they formed the bond that ties them together. The LOD then walk in. Paul says they shook hands and made promises here. Paul says they have been with a ship without a captain. He says they have always dared to be great. He says it's a small detail that makes the good be great. He says he's the detail man. Animal welcomes The Beverly Brothers and The Genius to their backyard. Animal says they are proud of their heritage while The Bev's grew up with fine china and were pampered all their lives. Animal says they are in their way on the road to the title and they will run them over.

Hawk says this is their life while The Bev's life was a bowl of chocolate cherries. Hawk said they had nothing while they had Beverly Hills and Rolls Royce's. He says they are on a road to ruin and says Paul is the missing piece of the puzzle. He says if you thought they were sick before, you ain't seen nothing yet.

Paul says you will never get the best of them, only the worst. Paul says they have always earned their money the old fashioned way.

Thoughts: This is definitely a reboot of the LOD. I'm not sure why they want The Bev's instead of Money Inc. Sadly, this is the most explanation we have gotten so far about what kind of characters The Bev's are supposed to be.

The Mountie vs Bill Golden

Mountie sings his song on the way to the ring. Mountie boots Bill and clubs him. Bill then has his head banged off the buckles.

Mountie hits punches on Bill then dropkicks him. Mountie then pins him wit hhis foot on his chest.

Thoughts:
It was all squash here with Mountie doing his usual stuff. Bill went down kind of easy with a dropkick.

Mountie sings his song after and shocks Bill with the shock stick.

WWF Event Center

Sean Mooney talk about Wrestlemania VIII and the 4/26/92 Boston Garden show. Sid Justice and Harvey Wippleman do a promo. Sid says Warrior has been gone a long time. He says if Warrior sticks his nose in his business, he will get hurt. Sid says do unto the man as he would do unto you, but do it first. Sid tells him not to mess with the man who rules the world.

The Ultimate Warrior does a promo. Warrior says he speaks of many who have been hungry since Summerslam. He says he speaks for those who challenges whoever the powers may be. He says he speaks for The Ultimate Warrior.

Howard Finkel tells us that Shawn Michaels has left the building.

The Understaker vs Sonny Trout

What a weird name for a jobber. Taker uppercuts Sonny and Vince says things will get fishy in the ring. Sonny's head is banged off the buckles. Taker walks the top rope and clubs Sonny. Taker then tombstones Sonny and wins.

Thoughts: It was a quick one. Sonny got nothing in as usual and Vince made fishing jokes during this.

Sonny is put in a bodybag after.

WWF Event Center

Sean Mooney hypes up 4/26/92 Boston Garden show. The British Bulldog says someone stole his car a month ago and says Repo was in the arena. He says someone watched Repo do it. Bulldog says it wasn't his car, it was a rental. He says Repo has to come and try repossess him.

The Beverly Brothers and The Genius do a promo. Genius says The LOD are suffering from a disease called negative moment. Blake says the LOD were on top but that's the past. Beau says they will prove they are the best tag team in the WWF and says they are on their way to the top in the WWF.

Vince and Perfect say Piper's Pit returns next week with Macho Man to close the show.

Overall thoughts: There were a lot of Mania highlights and reactions here and as usual, nothing going on in ring wise. They did set up the next set of matches though with Warrior/Sid, Flair/Macho and Hart/Shawn all getting set up. There wasn't really anything you need to see here and I wouldn't recommend this one.
