NWA Powerrr 6/24/2025

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/06/nwa-powerrr-6172025.html

Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/07/nwa-powerrr-712025.html

The Paige Sisters talk in the dressing room. Kenzie is mad at Kylie for putting her in some kind of prediction. Ken says not to believe everything the internet says and says she's her sister. I think she says Hunter isn't her type. Kylie makes her say that she would never hurt her that way. She says she has nothing to worry about.

Thoughts: As often is the case, I have no idea what this was about.

NWA World Women's Tag Team Title Match - Big Mama & Kenzie Paige (c) vs. TVMA (Tiffany Nieves & Valentina Rossi)

Ken and Val pieface each other. Ken wristlocks her then shoulders her over. Ken armdrags her. Val's head is banged off the buckles. Mama throws Val by the hair. Mama misses a corner splash then shoulders Tiff over. Mama throws Tiff by the hair. Mama slams her. Ms. Starr gets on the apron and distracts the ref.

Tiff stomps on Mama. Tiff clips Mama. Mama is double teamed in the corner. Tiff pulls Mama's hair and diving facebusters her with it. Mama hits a double lariat on her opponents. Ken is tagged in. She superkicks Val then slingblades her. Ken flying headscissors Tiff out. Ken then top rope plancha's everyone, including her partner, outside.

Val breaks up a double team and Tiff cradles Mama to win.

Thoughts: It was a random one and it wasn't that good. I have no idea how Tiff and Rossi earned this show. There was just nothing great about this one and they didn't get enough time nor did they put in any great work to make this special.

Carson Drake is walking around downtown Dothan, Alabama with The Slimeballz. Drake says he's taking his shot with Thom Lattimer serious. He says he's not good and says he will show why they say the rich get richer and the great get greater. Drake says he's not the underdog and says he built his life on not being one. The Slimes try to break into a car and successfully do so. The Slimes then spit all over the car and blow their nose on some of the paper in it. They don't know how to drive it so they pop the trunk. They then open the luggage inside and it's Thom Lattimer's car. They find the NWA Title in the back.

Drake asks what kind of rucks they are causing and sees the belt. Drake puts the belt on. Drake then does a happy dance.

Mike Mondo vs Zyon

We have some audio issues. Zy has Austin Idol with him. They said Zyon is filling in for Max the Impaler, which is fine with me.

They lock up. Zy wristlocks him then hammerlocks him. Mike reverses it and yanks on the arm. Zy top wristlocks him. Mike side headlocks him. Mike shoulders him over then legsweeps him three times. Mike basement dropkicks Zy.

Zy goes out and Mike follows him. Zy spinning neckbreakers Mike over the 2nd rope.

Zy hits euros then a short arm clothesline. Zy cranks on Mike's head. Zy suplexes Mike. Zy chinlocks him. Zy clubs him then Mike cradles him for 2. Mike backslides him then lariats him. Mike exploders him. Mike 2nd rope blockbusters him for 2.

Mike backdrops him then misses a top rope diving headbutt. Idol blows his whistle and he brings Frank out. Mike hits a fireman's carry gutbuster on Zy and pins him as Frank watches.

Thoughts: It was a bit boring at times and was another random one. It really needed some exciting moments that just never came. I'm not sure why Frank was called down only to do nothing.

The Cazana's do a promo. Joe says he doesn't care who his boys face as he's sick of The Southern Six. He says Kerry Morton has only been a thorn in his side lately. AJ says this is Hard Times, population = your @ss.

NWA United States Tag Titles - KC and AJ Cazana (c) vs The Southern Six (Kerry Morton and Alex Taylor)

AJ and Kerry push each other then trade punches. The four all fight and AJ gets double teamed. AJ takes a double dropkick then KC is pulled over the top.

Kerry topes outside onto both opponents then Alex does as well. Alex slams KC and Kerry slingshot elbow drops him. Kerry double boots AJ out of the corner then hits punches. AJ is tripped into an elbow drop.

AJ drops Alex gut first on the ropes. KC is then flapjacked onto Alex and slams him. KC struts and legdrops Alex for 2. Alex slaps AJ then AJ powerslams him for 2.

We go to break and return. Alex sunset flips AJ. Kerry is tagged in and hits bad shots on AJ. Kerry corner hip attacks him. KC chokes Alex with his tag rope and Alex is double teamed in the corner. Alex gets out of a double suplex.

Kerry gets in and hits shots on both opponents. He then running back elbows both and hits other corner attacks. KC is sent into his brother then Kerry backdrops KC. Kerry 2nd rope diving cutters KC. AJ spinebusters Kerry.

AJ takes a drop on his chest + flying knee. KC spears Alex then Kerry hits a bad step up enzugiri on KC. Joe Cazana distracts Kerry on the apron. Kerry grabs him and KC tries to hit Joe on purpose but barely hits him. KC double throat thrusts Kerry.

KC misses a twisting crossbody off the buckles and Kerry pins him while holding the tights.

Thoughts: There were a lot of bad moments here. Kerry couldn't connect on anything. There were no clear faces in this one which made things hard and the match was random. The Six had been competing in singles matches lately yet picked up the tag titles here. This should have been better than it was.

Overall thoughts:
It was your usual random episode of NWA Powerrr. There was nothing must see as usual but at least the President of the Territories stuff, the newstation stuff and the personal skills workshop stuff is over. We also got no updates on the stuff with the comic book guy from last week. I'd give this one a 4 out of 10 as nothing was that good and there was no build or meaning behind anything on this show.
