Next week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/07/aew-dynamite-722025-dynamite-300.html

Mone beats her up on the stage. She says if Toni wants to embarrass her, let's play, then she crossfaces her on the stage.

Mina Shirakawa comes and helps out Toni and Mone says, "let the games begin".

The Young Bucks interrupt on the tron and suddenly they have EVP powers again. They say Swerve and Ospreay are teaming again.

Thoughts:
The Bucks didn't do anything for months and are now back to being bosses again.

SS rolls into a jumping flatliner on Blake for 2. Will hits a hidden blade on Lee then Blake takes a brainbuster + superkick combo. SS house call kicks Blake and wins.

Thoughts: Will and SS won as expected here. It was very fast, maybe too fast to even follow at times. Will had a big bruised eye here.

Swerve does a promo. He says year after year they have had to deal with the bull of The EVP's. He says he doesn't want to anymore. Swerve says him and Will should face The Bucks at All-In. Will says they want to strip the power from The Bucks and tell them to put their EVP roles on the line in the match. Swerve then double stomps a bunch of security guards off the top and The Bucks run.

We go to break and return. The Young Bucks do a promo in the back. They call Swerve a dumb@ss. They say Swerve is suspended for a week without pay for putting his hands on an AEW official. Okada comes in and wants in introduce Rocky Romero, Trent Baretta and Takeshita. The Bucks say Calli is a prick and say the goal is to make Okada  the unified champ at All In. They say the other common goal is to hurt Omega. They say what better way to hurt Omega then to hurt Ibushi.

Takeshita tells Okada to remember that this is temporary.

Kota Ibushi vs Trent Baretta

They lock up and go to the ropes. Kota waistlock takedowns him. Kota crucifixes him for 2. Kota dropkicks Trent. Trent shoulders Kota over. Trent basement dropkicks Kota out of the ring.

Kota powerslams Trent. Kota chest kicks Trent down then spin kicks him. Kota chest kicks him down and standing moonsaults him for 2. Trent superkicks him. Trent flying knees Kota then piledrivers him for 2.

Thoughts: It went a little longer than it needed to. Kota looked a little better here than usual and mostly just stuck to various strikes. This was okay.

Kazuchika Okada comes out after and goes head to head with Kota. Okada then backs off.

Jon Moxley does a promo. He says we only ever have the present moment. He says Page has lot it a thousand times before. He says Page is afraid. He says Page makes him sick. He says he will show the world what the world champ looks like at All-In and says he will be looking for another job.

Ric says they should team up and take out Knight and Bailey tonight. Ric thinks he said yes when he didn't and thinks the match is set. AR isn't thrilled.

Thoughts: It had lots of flying as expected and what we got was okay but nothing super memorable. We didn't really get anyone's best in this one.

Mike and Kevin are interviewed by Tony on the stage after. Mike says the AEW Tag Titles have been held hostage for too long and it's time someone comes to their rescue. Kevin says it's time for the tag titles to come home. Kevin thensays they are coming for The Hurt Syndicate.

The Hurt's then beat up Kevin and Mike. Bobby lariats Mike and Kevin is sent knee first into the steps. Bobby slams Mike on the apron. Kevin and Mike get suplexed on the floor. Bobby chokeslams Mike onto Kevin through a table.

MVP asks for the tag titles to be brought out and they head to the ring with their theme music. MVP gets on the mic in the ring. He begs for someone to stand up to Shelton and Bobby. MJF gets on the mic. He says he unmasked and beat Mistico last week. He says he will be in a qualifer for the Men's Casino Gauntlet at All In. Strong and Band trade. Band pop-up cutters Strong. Band is pushed off the top to the floor. KT is then pushed off the top to the floor. Mark totally misses a top rope froggy bow and Strong crucifixes him.

Mark and Strong trade chops. Strong olympic slams him then hits running forearms. KT facekicks Strong. KT superplexes Strong then Mark and Band hit stereo moves off the top on the two. Mark uppercuts Band. Band goes for 21plex but KT double germans him and Mark for 2.

Thoughts:
Mark hasn't won in a bit so that was nice. It was what you would expect with fast paced action, cool moves and lots of flying. I liked it.

Adam Cole does a promo. He offers an open challenge for his TNT Title to anyone in the Don Callis Family.

4-Way for the #1 Spot in the Women's Casino Gauntlet -Kris Statlander vs Athena vs Willow Nightingale vs Thunder Rosa

Rosa sends Ath into the steps. Ath suplexes Rosa off the step onto the floor. Willow corner cannonballs Kris. Marina Shafir comes out as does Wheeler Yuta. Willow pounces Yuta. Kris hits a one-legged cradle tombstone on Willow and pins her.

Thoughts:
The spot with Rosa/Ath/Kris was really bad and made everyone look foolish. Athena really shouldn't be losing since she's been ROH Women's champ forever. It had some sloppy moments and could have been better.

FTR and Stokeley Hathaway are interviewed. Renee asks how they are with The Outrunners. Stoke complains about The Runners interrupting them. Stoke challenges them to talk in the ring tomorrow and to get on the same page.

Adam Page vs The Beast Mortos

Page wristlocks him. Mort flips out using the ropes and side headlocks him. They collide with each other and Mort flying headscissors him. Page flips out of a hiptoss and armdrags him. We go to PiP break and return. Page and Mort trade forearms. Page facekicks him then lariats him for 2. Page pop-up sitout powerbombs Mort for 2.

Page misses a top rope moonsault outside and Mort corkscrew topes him. Mort pop-up samoan drops Page for 2. Mort drops Page's chest onto his knees. Page poisonrana's Mort then spinning lariats him. Page buckshot lariats Mort and wins.

Thoughts: It was fine and was the athletic match you would expect between these two. Page won as expected here. I liked it but it would have been nice if there was more of a story to it or a reason for it happening.

The Bucks appear in the ring and hit the EVP trigger on Page. The Death Riders come out. Mox chokes Page with a chain. The Opps come out to try and help. Will Ospreay then comes out and The Riders run.

Overall thoughts: It was a very heavy wrestling show here but most of the matches were random and didn't have a ton of meaning behind them. However, I was fine with mostly all of the matches minus the women's match. I didn't like anything with The Bucks here as they are now able to control shows again and it doesn't make sense that they'd put their EVP roles up for grabs in a match. I'd give it a 6 out of 10 overall as it was okay, but they could have put a better card together.
