Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2025/04/aew-collision-4122025.html
This is on Thursday due to AEW not wanting to compete with Wrestlemania.
We are in Boston, MA, as we were for Dynamite yesterday.
Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness welcome us to the show on the stage. They talk about the show.
Marina Shafir comes out and shoulder throws someone on the stage then boots them off of it. Claudio comes out, breaks a camera and chokeslams the camera guy through a table. Yuta then also comes out to help destroy stuff. Mox grabs the mic in the ring.

Mox says Joe started something that he has to finish. He says he will fight Joe to the death and challenges him. He says Joe knows exactly what he's dealing with.

Lance chokeslams him for 2. Lance is crotched on the top rope and KK dropkicks him down. KK springboard diving lariats him outside. KK springboard diving lariats him inside.
Thoughts: This is easily the weakest loss Lance has ever taken. I'm not surprised. AEW is where the big boys lay after all. The match was fine. KK did a bunch of flying around and Lance overpowered him without overdoing it.
They mess up a switch to a promo with Hobbs and The Ops. Joe talks about predators in the jungle and says The Death Riders found out they were the pursued instead of the pursuers. Joe says they are the most dangerous unit and says they are the AEW Trios champs. Joe says they are coming for so much more.
Renee interviews Kris Statlander and Jamie Hayter. Renee says the two are facing each other for the first time in the Owen Hart Tournament. She brings up Renee and Mercedes. They then have some words for Nigel, saying his body and mind are fragile and saying Nigel could never beat them up. He says they hope they can move forward in a professional manner.
The Don Callis Family does a promo from last night. Don says they are the juggernaut of wrestling.
The Don Callis Family (Josh Alexander and Konosuke Takeshita) vs The Conglomeration (Rocky Romero and Tomohiro Ishii)
I guess The Conglomeration is a thing again.

Josh waistlock takedowns RR. Josh knees him in the gut. RR armdrags him then flying headscissors him. RR is put on the apron. KT driveby kicks him and Josh does his crossbody to RR's back. RR tornado ddt's KT off of Josh. Ishii flips Kt with a lariat.
KT is pulled over the top then RR plancha's him outside. Josh germans Ishii for 2. Josh gordbusters RR. RR hurricanrana's Josh with Ishii's help. Ishii lariats RR on accident when Josh moves and Josh rolls up Ishii for 2.
Josh germans Ishii. Ishii headbutts Josh and both fall over. Ishii goes for the tag but RR moves away. Josh germans Ishii. Ishii takes a double spinning forearm then is powerbombed by Josh. Josh pins him.
Thoughts: I'm not sure what Rocky turning on Ishii was about. Neither guy is a full-time AEW wrestler so maybe it doesn't matter, but I don't know what that really accomplishes here. The match was fine otherwise with KT and Josh winning.
RR helds up Ishii and Ishii soves him. RR beats up Ishii and Trent Baretta is in the ring. Trent beats up on Ishii. Don gives Trent a giant wrench and Trent hits Ishii with it.
Mercedes Mone is interviewed by Lexy. Harley Cameron interrupts with the Mone puppet. Mone talks to the puppet and tells Harley to stay out of her way. Mone asks why sheis talking to a puppet. Harley tries to sing "The Money-Wrath Train" and Mone leaves.
Megan Bayne vs Rebecca Scott and Ashley Vox
The jobbers dropkick Meg. Meg pulls them into each other and germans both together. Meg powerbombs Vox 3 times then flying lariats Scott. Meg F-5's Scott onto Vox and pins both to win.
Thoughts: It was all squash here as expected with Meg winning.
We get a video on Anthony Bowens.
AEW TNT Title - Open Challenge - Adam Cole (c) vs Claudio Castagnoli
CC stupidly throws a chair at the commentators and Nigel gets hit. CC's gonna pay for that one.

CC giant swings Cole. CC crossfaces Cole for 2. CC comes off the top and is superkicked for 2. CC pop-up euros Cole for 2.
CC hits euros on Cole and the ref pushes him off. CC hits more corner euros and the ref pulls him off again. CC hits more euros. CC top rope superplexes him. Cole then crucifixes him off of of it to pin him.
Thoughts: CC has been taking too many losses lately and this one didn't help with that. He also lost totally clean too. The match was fine but nothing too memorable or great. I hope this is leading to something because this was a waste if it's not. CC got his arm busted open here.
CC throws a monitor then flips the commentary table over. Yuta and Mox try to stop CC.
Lexy interviews Big Bill and Bryan Keith. She asks where they go from here. Bill says Jericho walked out on them when he's supposed to be their leader. Bill says he's getting angry. Bryan says not right now. They said they talked about this in private. Bryan says it meant something to him that Jericho says they are family. Bryan says they should handle this like family - internally. Bryan says maybe he wouldn't of left if Bill didn't put him on blast. Bill says they shouldn't live and die on Jericho's whims but they need to stack some W's.
LFI (Rush, The Beast Mortos and Dralistico) vs KM, Rosario Grillo and LSG
Jake Roberts is not with LFI, if they even remember that storyline.
LFI attack before the bell. Rush and Dral beat up the jobbers outside the ring. LSG takes corner attacks then is pop-up samoan dropped. Dral hits kicks on KM. Rush hits a big forearm on KM. Dral tope con hilos LSG and Grillo. Rush then does his corner dropkick on KM and pins him.
Thoughts: We've seen this before. LFI will disappear again in 2-3 weeks like they always do and we'll run through this again I bet.
Renee interviews Kevin Knight and Mike Bailey. Kevin says he's not looking to join Don Callis. Ricochet comes in. He says those two goofs stole from him and took $400k out of his bank account. Mike says they beat him fair and square. Ric says they beat Mortos, not him. Ric says not to upset the top talent and the chain of command. Ric says they are low on the totem pole and need to take his advice before something bad happens. Kevin says they respect him. Kevin says he can do everything Ric can and says there's something he can do that he can't. He then plays with his hair. Ric says he can smack him his mouth. Kevin teases hitting him and Ric ducks. Kom moonsaults him off the buckles. Nick rolls him up for 2. Kom is sent into the buckles face first. Kom poisonrana's him for 2. Nick hits a suplex on Kom. Nick high kicks Kom. Nick is legswepted on the 2nd rope then Kom springboard canadian destroyers him.
Nick goes out and Kom walks up the buckles and blind moonsaults him outside. Kom rope walks but Nick double upkicks him on the ssp. Nick high kicks him then fisherman busters him for the win.
Thoughts: It could not have been more obvious Nick was winning here. I think it sucks that ROH titles seem to change everywhere but on ROH shows. I wasn't a fan of the match as it was an indy style match with neither guy selling much.
The Patriarchy celebrate in the back.
Hologram gets a video and he returns next week.
Top Flight and Leila Grey do a promo. Dante says there's no more running for Cru. Dante says they have a match next week. Darius says it'll be a tornado tag team match. The Cru walk in and security gets in the middle of it.
Mercedes Mone and Harley Cameron vs Julia Hart and Kris Statlander
Toni Storm is on commentary for this. HC does Mone's dance with her on the stage. The commentators have no table here.
Kris pushes HC back and HC tags in Mone. HC side headlocks Kris then spinning headscissors her. HC back elbows Kris then gets a 2 count on her. Kris suplexes her. Hart walks the top rope and clubs HC. She then sliding lariats her from behind for 2.

Mone gets her knees up on Hart's top rope moonsault. Kris kicks Mone in the body. Kris then drops Mone in a botched move. HC blind tags herself in and saves Mone. Kris spinning lariats HC. HC then rolls up Kris for 2. Kris backbreakers HC then hits a big lariat and pins her.
Thoughts: It was average and not that great. Kris beat Harley which didn't accomplish here. It felt a little rushed.
Toni claps for Kris on the apron after.
Overall thoughts: As usual with Collision, the stars weren't really here and it was mostly just matches. I thought it was an average to okay show with nothing really must see on it. I'd give it a 5 out of 10 and don't think you need to see it. I thought they should have tried a bit more with this show since it was going to be on a Thursday and would potentially be open for a bigger audience than usual. I wouldn't recommend it.
