GZW Accion Sin Limites 7/31/2022

Last week's show is here: https://prowresblog.blogspot.com/2022/07/gzw-accion-sin-limites-7232022.html

NOTE - I'm still learning a lot of the wrestlers and storylines, so some of the review may not be up to my usual standard. And this is not like the US - these companies do not have websites or a lot of online resources to use to find out who is who.

Joe Colon comes out with his crew of Las Bestias Del Apocalipsis and Nexen.

They talk about some court case they have ongoing. Joe Colon puts himself over for being the man in GZW then GZW Director, Richard Rondon comes out. He reminds Joe that he is the owner of the company. Edwin Garcia and Los Bastardos then come out. Rondon tells them not to attackt Joe Colon's crew as he says there will be suspensions. Rondon tells Joe that he will be defending his title tonight and says there are no days off here. Joe complains and he reminds him who is boss. The segment ends as Los Bastardos say something to Luis Cruz on commentary.

GZW Junior Heavyweight Champ Yoma talks to Ryan Rett in the back, as I think they are going to meet in a title match. Roma says his house is also Ryan's house and says the worst mistake he had made was to lose his mind.

Ryan Rett vs Ramon Rosario

Luis Cruz seems to like Rett and has a lot of faith in him. Ramon is from the Dominician Republic and dances with a fan during his entrance. Luis rings the bell in anger for some reason and both Ryan and Ramon try to get cheers from the crowd.

They shoulder battle early here and Rett can't get all the way over on a leapfrog. Rett then shoulders him over then Ramon armdrags him out of the ring. Ramon goes after him then Ryan hits a strike combo in the ring before clotheslining him. Ryan is on his back and pounds on the back of his head with forearms and flips off the ref. Ryan chinlocks him then dropkicks him. Ryan grabs his wrist tape and chokes Ramon with it.

They trade shots in the corner and Ramon powerslams him. Ramon ducks a punch and hits some of his own then running forearms and lariats him. Ramon crossbodies him for 2 and Ryan kind of does an olympic slam move. Yoma comes out then Ryan runs into the middle buckle. Ramon uranage's him and picks up the win.

This wasn't anything too special and kind of lost the plot during the 2nd half of it.

Luis Cruz rips Ramon for taking forever to get to and from the ring and we go to break.

We see the video of John Slayer talking in an abandoned building. We saw this last week.

Nexen vs Edwin Garcia

Nexen jumps hm as he enters and they fight on the floor. Garcia punches and chops him against a rail then kendo stick shots him. Nexen throws him in the ring and Edwin dropkicks him off the apron then tope's him. Nexen kind of pounces him from the side and stomp flurries him in the corner. Nexen chokes him on the ropes then leg lariats him. Nexen then suplexes him for 2. Edwin fights back with chest chops then takes a michinoku driver for 2.

They fight up top and Edwin top rope crossbodies him. Both men start to fire up and Edwin hits chops then a flying forearm. Edwin then spears him and Nexen twisting brainbusters him for 2. Edwin fights off a powerbomb attempt and pulls off his elbow pad. Edwin then code red's him and wins it.

It was a decent match. Nexen heeled on Edwin early then Edwin got his big comeback and won it.

Luis runs off from the commentary booth and talks with Joe Colon in the back. It seems like they watch the end of the Nexen/Garcia match and Colon flips out when Nexen loses. We can't see what they watched though, so it's guess work on my end.

Overall thoughts: There were two matches and one was good with not a lot else going on. I don't recommend this one.
