Ice Ribbon 3/5/2022 - Ice Ribbon #1183

Everyone gets in the ring to welcome us to the show.

Hoshi and Kaho start us off. Hoshi pulls on Kaho's hair then dropkicks her. Hoshi hits a stiff shoulder. Sumika slams Kiku then stretches her. She holds both arms back and pushes her with her legs then Kaho does the same to Hoshi.

Sumika steps on Kiku's back then Sumika foot chokes Kiku. Kaho camel clutches Kiku and fish hooks her nose. Sumika bridges and cranks Kiku's neck. Kiku and Sumika trade shots and Kiku rolls her up for 2.

Hoshi cartwheels through a double lariat and dropkicks her opponents. She nails Sumika with a chop and gets a big boot to the chest. Hoshi gets tied up in the ropes and takes a knee to the back from Sumika then Hoshi codebreakers her and spinning facebusters her.

Kaho dropkicks Hoshi while she is in the ropes then Hoshi comes back with a chop. Hoshi hits more chops then Kaho gets some chest forearms in. Hoshi russian legsweeps her and pulls on both arms but it gets broken up. Kaho hits some dropkicks on Hoshi for 2 then she gets stiffed with a lightning spiral for 2.

Kiku hits some dropkicks on Kaho and the two trade forearms. Kiku gets on the 2nd rope and kicks Kaho in the face while she is in the corner. Kaho then rolls her into a knee lock but Hoshi breaks it. Kaho blows some suplex then does it again for 2. Kaho then hits a suplex and some kind of abdominal stretch suplex for the win. Kiku gets on the mic after and is mad then says something to Tsukushi. Tsukushi then gets in the ring

It was fast paced but longer than it needed to be. Kaho messing up near the finish sucked a lot of the life out of it.

Totoro Satsuki vs Yuko Sakurai

They have a 10 minute time limit for this so it's not going long. They trade shoulders and Totoro wins that battle. Yuko back elbows her in the corner then bow and arrows her. Yuko hits some drops on her back and finally rolls her with the bow and arrow.

Yuko tries to stand on her back but Totoro stands up then stands on her. Totoro then butt drops her and sits on her. They trade chest forearms and Yuko loses that one. Yuko tries to octopus stretch her but is thrown off then Totoro splashes her.

Yuko dropkicks her in the back against the ropes then knocks her over with a shoulder for 2. Yuko puts her in a dragon sleeper but Totoro rope breaks. Yuko goes up top and Totoro shakes the ropes and gets rolled up for a close 2. Totoro then crossbodies her for 2 and forward rolling fireman's carries her for 2. Totoro then sentons her off the 2nd rope for the win. They fist pound and hug after, then walk out together.

I liked this one. Totoro used her size on offense and defense here and they played the size differences well.

Asahi and Misa Kagura vs Nao Ishikawa and Rina Amikura

Asahi comes out with water even though this match is probably not even going 10 minutes. Asahi and Misa get the ref to pose with them then Nao and Rina do too. Asahi kicks the ref for it.

Rina and Nao have a discussion about something in the ring then stereo splash their opponents after they knock them down. They then make them do their little cheer. Asahi gets mad at this and pushes Rina out then Misa and Nao shoulder battle, with Nao winning. Misa and Rina then shoulder battle and do poses after. Rina pokes her in the nose then shoulders her over, then misses a senton.

Misa sentons Rina as she is on all fours then Rina takes a double elbow drop. Rina and Asahi trade chest forearms and Asahi knocks her over with one. Rina then cries and Asahi attacks her and Nao. Asahi hair throws Rina and foot chokes her. Rina comes back with a senton at 5 minutes.

She backbreakers Asahi over the shoulder then splashes her in the corner as she is in the reverse tree of woe. Rina hits a spinning double chop on Asahi then Nao cartwheel splashes the grounded Asahi. Nao then crossbodies her for 2. Misa double bulldogs her opponents but accidentally does it on her partner.

Asahi takes a gut buster onto Nao's knee but hits a 619 on Nao. Misa hits chest forearms on Nao then some arm throws. Nao butt drops Misa with a pose at 10 minutes. Nao and Rins dosey do when they are thrown into each other and hit corner lariats on their opponents. Nao then top rope crossbodies Misa for 2. Misa sits on Nao's back with a double reverse armbar then crabs her but Nao hits the ropes.

Rina slams Misa then Misa hits a nice dropkick on Nao. Asahi top rope dropkicks Nao then Nao rolls up Misa out of nowhere for the win. Rina and Nao talk after and Misa joins. They all seem real chummy with each other and Nao holds up their hands with them. Asahi is left behind then grabs Nao and slaps her. then Misa shields Nao. Asahi then did her own pose after and laughed.

This went too long and the finish was random. I thought they worked well together and Rina and Nao showed some chemistry. Asahi looked like the best wrestler here and seems to be on the right track.

Tsukushi Haruka and Banny Oikawa vs Tsukasa Fujimoto and Saran

Saran comes out with a bubble blowing toy and is crying for some reason. Tsukasa won't shake Tsukushi's hand. Tsukasa and Tsukushi trade fast armdrags and roll-ups then stand off. Saran is still crying here. She armlocks Tsukushi and Tsukushi rolls, but she rolls with her. Tsukushi flips out of an armlock then she does the same.

Saran starts stomping Tsukushi's foot then Tsukushi does it back to her. Saran dropkicks her and gets slammed, then Tsukushi hits Tsukasa on the apron. Tsukushi puts Saran in the camel clutch and pulls back a hair band to hit her in the head with it. Banny gets in and throws Saran around then foot chokes her. Banny ties up Saran in the ropes and kick flurries her.

Tsukushi comes in and stands and stomps on Saran's hands. Banny dropkicks Saran in the corners then does a head and arm hold with her leg. Tsukasa gets tagged in and knocks Tsukushi off the apron then gets dropkicked by Tsukushi. Tsukushi then hits a nice double dropkick on her opponents. Banny rapid fire kicks Tsuka in the lega then axe kicks her in the back. She then spinning heel kicks her for 2.

She then top rope dropkicks Tsuka, but Tsuka dropkciks her back. Tsuka top rope dropkicks her then she and Saran mess up a double team move but everyone laughs.

Saran hits some nice dropkicks on Tsukushi then pulls her down by the hair and foot pushes her. Saran is on the ropes and puts Tsukushi in the sleeper while hanging off the top turnbuckle. Saran then climbs her back for it and forces her to ropebreak. Saran and Tuskushi trade chest shots Saran gets dropkicked in the corner then takes some weird running forearm by Tsukushi for 2.

Banny and Tsukushi sandwich Saran with shots and Tsuka breaks it up. Tsuka enzugiri's Tsukushi then Saran top rope crossbodies Tsukushiu for 2. Saran does Tsukushi's  pin attempt into a double stomp and gets a close nearfall on her. Tsukushi then rolls her up after Saran tries first and wins it. Tsukushi talks on the mic after and calls over Saran whos is still crying. Saran gets on the mic and is still crying. Tsukushi loves it then everyone comes in to close out the show.

Good main event. How can you not feel for poor Saran crying in there eh? She did a good job in the match here though obviously still has some things to work in. Tsukushi and Tsuka looked like a well oiled machine that knew what it was doing before it was even told what to do.

Overall thoughts: A fun little show as usual. The main was good and I liked Totoro vs Yuko. The main was emotional and quite the sight.
