Dramatic Dream Team 2/5/2022 - Ultimate Tag League 2022 in Oyama

I skipped two matches here.

Yukio Naya vs Yuki Ishida

They shoulder block battle early and Naya runs him over. Naya hits a big knee to the gut and slams him. Ishida tries to fight back with forearms but can't trade and takes knees to the gut. Ishida hits a big slam and Naya steps aside on a flying forearm. Ishida tries to come back sumo slaps but is tossed and kneed into the gut. Naya misses a corner charge and gets rolled up for 2. Ishida then suplexes him for 2.

Ishida runs into a big boot then takes a running knee to the chest for 2. Naya then chokeslams him for the win.

This wasn't great but Naya showed some spunk here. I thought Naya took too much though for a big man.

Akito and Yuji Hino vs Burning (Yusuke Okada and Yuya Koroku)

Burning criss crosses the ropes during their entrance. Yuya has a hard time taking Hino down. Akito gets in and hiptosses then keylocks Yuya. Hino slaps Yuya weakly, just toying with him and Yuya hits forearms back. Yuya hits more and Hino powers through them then hits a big fallaway slam. Akito gets in and Yuya hits a running forearm before tagging out.

Okada hits...an Okada style dropkick in Akito and Akito goes to work on his leg some. Akito tries for an STF but Okada hits the ropes. Hino comes in and chops him then Okada dragon screws him. Yuya tries to Fujiwara armbar Hino but gets lifed and dropped backwards.

Hino hits three big forearms. Yuya tries to fight back but gets dropped with another and Hino lays on him with his arms folded to try and pin him. Hino deadlift germans him for the win.

I didn't like this one too much. It never really felt like Burning had a chance here. The pace was slow and Yuya just didn't get enough good looking offense in.

Disaster Box (HARASHIMA, Kazuki Hirata and Naomi Yoshimura) vs The 37KAMIINA (Konosuke Takeshita, Toi Kojima and Yuki Ueno)

Toi legitimately looks like a short haired schoolgirl. He hits a dropkick on Hirata then Hirata takes Takeshita's big knee. Toi goes up top and they screw up something. Toi motions towards Naomi then Naomi does the same and brings him down. Naomi then drags Hirata out and makes him tag in a very weird spot.

Harashima bullies Toi with kicks then Naomi puts Toi in the camel clutch until Toi ropebreaks out. Harashima then puts Toi back in a camel clutch variation. Hirata then assisted Naomi on a suplex on Toi. Toi then got a dropkick on Harashima and tagged out to Takeshita, who hit some big slams. Takeshita took a shotgun dropkick into the corner from Harshima then Naomi bearhug suplexed him for 2. Takeshita and Naomi traded shots and Takeshita hit him with a flying clothesline.

Ueno got popped up and hurricanrana'd Naomi. He hit a big facekick on Naomi then Naomi had him in the DDT position and suplexed him. Naomi held up Ueno and Takeshita hit something like a bulldog on him. Naomi saito suplexed Ueno then Ueno dropkicked him. Hirata and Toi traded shots and Toi machine gun chopped him. They both dropkicked each other and Toi was backdropped for 2.

All of Kamiina was put in submissions and we went to the finishing stretch. Takeshita accidentally lariated Toi then got reverse hurricanrana'd by Harashima. Toi went for a dragon suplex on Hirata but got reversed and rolled up for the Disaster Box win.

This was a little long and Toi was in there for too long. They just kind of flipped the switch at 10 minutes and went for the finish. Naomi was in there for a while and he was okay, but Takeshita and Ueno weren't which hurt the match. Harashima was barely in at all.

Burning (Jun Akiyama and Tetsuya Endo) vs Eruption (Hideki Okatani and Kazusada Higuchi)

 

Jun and Oka trade forearms early and gets put in some holds by Endo. Higuchi and Endo trade shoulders. Oka gets thrown into the post by Jun outside then Jun pulls hard on his neck while he's wrapped around the post. Jun tries to bully him around more and he fights back with forearms. Jun the hits some hard headbutts and a knee to the chest. He then short piledrivers him for 2.

Jun hit a running knee to a downed Oka and Oka came back with dropkicks. Higuchi came in and took control. They trade chops and Jun tries to headbutt him but hurts his head on it, then he high knee's Higuchi. Endo puts him in the moss covered 3 handed family gradunza but Higuchi lifts him out of it. Endo handspring and backflips on him but gets caught with a slam in a nice spot.

Oka missile dropkicks Endo off the top then flapjacks him. Endo takes a double dropkick then Oka northern lights suplexes him for 2. Jun superplexes Oka off the top and Endo standing SSP's him. Endo misses a pele kick then gets deadlift picked up and powerbombed by Higuchi. Oka then top rope kneedrops Endo for 2.

Endo and Oka trade forearms then Endo standing spanish fly's him for 2. Endo then hit a brainbuster on Oka for a close 2. Endo hit a top rope SSP and won it.

There wasn't a great story here except for Oka taking the majority of the damage but they put out a good effort and it was a decent house show main event.

Overall thoughts: Only the main was good of what I saw but the other stuff wasn't bad, just not great. Can't recommend it though.
