We get clips from The Bump with the Trent Seven/Jordan Devlin weigh-in's. I guess we are supposed to know that this was taped since Devlin appeared on WWE NXT USA last night. Sure it's possible he flew back after his appearance, but that seems unlikely.

Nathan Frazer vs Ashton Smith

Nathan does an inset trying to explain his name change. He said the name Ben Carter got him here. Nate flips out of a german suplex and drops an elbow on him. Nate does a nice hurricanrana using the ropes for assistance and Smith back body drops him into an armlock. Nate takes a nice clothesline from Smith after bouncing out of the corner.

Nate springboards into a crossbody but gets caught and suplexed. Nate messes up a flip back into the ring then John Woo's Smith into the buckles. Nate does a coast to coast dropkick on Smith for another 2. Nate rolls through a missed top rope swanton then takes a blue thunder driver. Nate moonsaults into a slingblade then frogsplashes him for the win. Probably Nate's worst match in NXT UK yet. Smith is a lot slower than he is and messed up the flip going in.

Ilja Dragunov was interviewed in the back. He said he was sorry for his recent behavior then Sam Gradwell came in. He called him an unruly baboon and said he could beat him in any kind of match including a No DQ match. He listed some of the matches and Ilja agreed the second he said the No DQ match.

Isla Dawn was playing with a ouija board and tarot cards again. Isla, if you want someone to play with, there's this girl named Scarlett that you will just love.

We get a message from Johnny Saint. He said Noam Dar has been pestering him for a Heritage Cup match with A-Kid. Smith said he needs to earn it against Tyler Bate in a #1 Contender's match at NXT UK Prelude, which is their next big show on 4/8/21.

We get a package on Trent Seven. He makes weight tonight at 204lbs.

Dani Luna vs Meiko Satomura

They call her the best in the world, but that's not a real fitting name after she lost to Kay Lee Ray. Slow start here. They go on the mat and Meiko takes her down. Meiko hits some chest kicks, a running forearm and a european uppercut. Dani comes back with a suplex and a fallaway slam. Meiko gets irish whipped and comes back with a spinning heel kick.

Dani deadlift suplexes Meiko from the outside to the inside. Meiko high kicks her and they hit forearms at the same time before Dani drops her with a lariat. Meiko hits the pele kick then the shining axe kick to win. It felt slow which hurt this but Dani got some shine here.

Joseph Conners and Jinny do a promo. Conners said Starz and Piper won off an illegal move last week, which they did and so that loss doesn't count. Conners said he will get him back though in a singles match.

Dani Luna is interviewed. She said she lost but it's to Meiko, who is the best in rhe world. Andrews and Wesbter then I think give Dani her entrance gear back.

Walter comes out to talk. He said he is now the longest reigning NXT UK champ in history. He said he has dominated this brand and asks Johnny Saint to find a challenger for him. Rampage Brown then comes out. Brown said Saint just has to look in his own backyard for an opponent. He said Walter is dominant but never faced him and said to let him know when he is ready. Walter tries to leave and gets pushed over. Brown said this reign will come to an end soon. I'm down for this one.

Xia Brookside is training in the back and asks Nina Samuels to make some adjustments for her on the weight rack. Xia asks her to do multiple things which makes Nina angrier and angrier. Xia knocks over the chalk purposely and asks Nina to clean it up. I get that Nina was a jerk to her but Xia's being a jerk too.

Kenny Williams goes up to Amir Jordan in the back. Kenny tries to explain his cheating last week, saying it was a knee-jerk reaction. He said they are now getting a title shot. Jordan says they don't need to cheat to win, then Jordan says they should train now.

Sam Gradwell vs Ilja Dragunov is signed for a No DQ match next week and Walter vs Brown is signed for Prelude.

WWE NXT UK Cruiserweight Championship - Jordan Devlin (c) vs Trent Seven

They have a solid 17 minutes for this. Trent hits a bunch of chops to start and flips Jordan over the ropes to the floor. Jordan gets his head banged off the steps and takes a hard release dragon on the floor. Trent beats up on Jordan in the corner and takes control for a bit. Jordan rock bottoms him then standing moonsaults him.

Jordan backbreakers him on the shoulder and stretches him over the post.  Trent then takes a backdrop onto the apron. Jordan pops him with a fist and chops him as Trent falls. Trent makes a comeback but is lariated down. Trent gets beat up more and gets a DDT in. Trent hits a diamond dust then an emerald flowsion for 2.

Tren lariats him over the top then topes him hard into the barricades. Trent goes for a twisting senton off the top but gets nothing and Jordan puts him in a cloverleaf. Trent breaks for the ropes rolls Jordan into a single leg crab. Trent goes for a lariat but takes a headbutt. He gets back up and trades strikes with Jordan. Trent hits a lariat for 2.

Devlin escapes a burning hammer then does a version of the emerald flowsion for 2. Devlin goes up top and gets caught and Trent hits a release german suplex on him from the top. Trent then hits a burning hammer where Devlin landed on his stomach for, but Jordan makes the ropes on the pin attempt.

Jordan thumbs Trent in the eye when the ref couldn't see then he pulls him into a backdrop for a closer 2. Devlin hits a 450 across Trent's back and wins it. I didn't have too many issues with this until they kicked out of release dragon superplex and a burning hammer. That was going way too far. I appreciated Devlin working the back. Trent looks like an idiot for going through all the trouble just to lose here.

Overall thoughts: It wasn't bad, but there's been better editions of NXT UK and I didn't love this one.
