Dramatic Dream Team 1/28/2021 Dramatic 2021 January Special

I skipped the first two matches.

Keigo Nakamura, MAO & Shunma Katsumata vs. DISASTER BOX (HARASHIMA & Toru Owashi) & Antonio Honda

Keigo and Harashima do the usual face off spot early. Mao tries to test Owashi's strength early and fails then Shunma trips Owashi when he runs the ropes. Owashi gets tripped by Mao and Keigo and they try to do a taunt but Owashi stops it. Then Owashi takes a triple dropkick.

Shunma chokes Owashi with some kind of cloth when the ref isn't looking and the ref makes him get rid of it. Shunma tries an exploder but Owashi is too heavy and falls on him. Mao's team tries a triple team on Owashi that Owashi is able to escape. Harashima comes in and hits some face kicks then a springboard splash for 2. Harashima tries some chest kicks, gets one blocked then is superkicked.

Mao and Harashima trade forearms and as Mao charges Harashima hits a gamengiri. Harashima then charges in on him and gets a big palm strike. Honda gets in and starts doing weird stuff, then grabs the mic. He ends up poking all three opponents in the eye, misses it on Keigo and is rolled up for 2. Honda drops a fist on him from the second rope and this was comedy crap that I hate.

Yukio Naya vs Yuji Hino

Naya attacks Hino before he gets in the ring. Naya comes back in and hits a hard forearm then some lighter ones and Hino hits some hard chops on him. Hino lets off and Naya charges at him and drops some elbows. Naya hits more hard forearms and cranks Hino's neck. Hino near deadlift vertical suplexes Naya.

They trade chops for forearms with Hino hitting some hard chops then Naya coming back with body kicks. Hino challenges him to do some more then comes back with more hard chops. Naya gets caught in a charge and then is exploder suplexed. Then he comes back with a slow backdrop on Hino. Hino hits a big lariat on a running Naya then a harder one for a nearfall.

Hino basically deadlift powerbombs him and wins it. This wasn't as long or as epic as it could be but this was a stiff match between two hosses that I enjoyed.

DAMNATION (Daisuke Sasaki, Soma Takao & Tetsuya Endo) vs. Junretsu (Hideki Okatani & Makoto Oishi) & Yusuke Okada

Damnation attacks at the bell. Okatani celebrates after a slam but Sasaki trips him and crossfaces him. Okatani gets beat up for a while.  Sasaki slaps him around a little and tags out after a clothesline. Oishi comes in and hits each of his opponents. Endo tries to break up a pin attempt but ends up elbow dropping his partner. Oishi puts Sasaki in an indian deathlock then reverse STO's a charging Endo.

Sasaki hits dangerous looking michinoku driver on Oishii lamost dropping him on his head. Takao puts Oishii on the middle rope then double stomps his back and dropkicks him in the face. Oishi does a double knee bounce off the top rope and turns it into a flipping stunner on Takao.

Endo and Okada exchange some shots and then blow a spot. Okada does a real tight perfectplex on Endo for 2. Okatani comes back in and running bulldogs Endo then hits a nice northern lights suplex for 2 at 10 minutes. Damnation hits some attacks on Okatani to slow him down and Takao accidentally knee drops Sasaki off the top. Endo is thrown into the ropes and ducks under into a double pele kick on his opponents, then he does a flying space tiger drop to the outside. Okatani takes double superkicks to the head then a flying Endo forearm for 2. Okatani gets some offense in and is put in the 3 handled moss covered credenza for the Damnation win. Everyone keeps fighting after.

The section with Okatani went too long here and didn't help the match much.

Konosuke Takeshita & Yuki Ueno vs. Eruption (Kazusada Higuchi & Yukio Sakaguchi)

Ueno and Yukio roll around on the mat early. Yukio triangles him and Takeshita ends up breaking it for Ueno. Higuchi comes in and shoulders down Takeshita and Takeshita takes chops and kicks from both opponents. Higuchi jumps off the 2nd rope with an elbow on Takeshita. Then trade chops for forearms and Takeshita hits a nice leg lariat.

Takeshita hits a stiff boot then a high flying clothesline on Higuchi.  Ueno comes in and double dropkicks both opponents then does a flying crotch to Higuchi before bringing him down with his legs from the corner. Ueno does a Vader bomb style knee drop. Takeshita puts Higuchi in a neckbreaker position then Ueno comes off the top with a frogsplash on him.

Higuchi traps both of Ueno's arms then overhead suplexes him and Yukio comes in to forearm and knee Ueno. Yukio footslaps Ueno and pops him with a nice forearm. Takeshita slams Yukio and Ueno tries to splash Yuki but gets double knees. Yukio puts the triangle back on and Ueno hits the ropes. Ueno and Takeshita get put back to back and both get kicked but then both hit dropkciks. Ueno shining wizard's Yukio and Takeshita germans Yukio. Ueno does a pumphandle powerbomb for 2 and tries for a double jump moonsault, but Yukio moves. Yukio then hits a pump knee. Takeshita gets thrown into the buckles by Higuchi then takes a Yukio pumping knee. Yukio headkicks Ueno with each foot then chokes him out for the win.

Decent match here with the heels controlling a lot of this which prevented Ueno from doing too much. Takeshita threw a bunch of good forearms here and this was better than I had expected.
