All Japan Pro Wrestling 6/6/1997 - Kenta Kobashi, The Patriot and Johnny Ace vs Gary Albright, Steve Williams and Lacrosse

The finish

Lacrosse hiptosses and clotheslines Ace to start. Williams gets a boot to the face and something goes flying. Then he gets gorilla pressed by Williams which Albright follows with a german. It sounds cooler than it was. Ace is really laid out on the floor outside after this and it seems like it may be a shoot since the American wrestlers are ylling him to come on. Williams slaps on a chinlock but Kobashi breaks it up. The Patriot then breaks up Albright's STF on Ace. Ace gets whopped on more and then we get clipped to later in the match when Kobashi makes a hot tag. Kobashi hits some chops and then is suplexed. Lacross does a cool tilt-a-whirl into a side slam. The Patriot hits some clotheslines on Lacrosse and Williams misses a splash on him before getting backdropped on the return. Williams does a weird underhook dragon screw. Then Williams hits a top rope shoulderblock on Ace. Things break down here with Williams and Lacrosse hitting a bad double lariat and Kobashi breaking up a Doctor Bomb pin attempt. Ace then hits an ace crusher on Williams. Ace team then comes together for a triple suplex/powerbomb on Williams that looks awful. Ace then does this awful awful cobra clutch suplex or just a cobra clutch backwards fall to win it. I assure you, this was not a classic AJPW match and this really wasn't any good at all. And that's only of what we saw as there was a lot of clipping here.
