All Japan Pro Wrestling 2/21/1993 - Akira Taue, Jun Akiyama and Yoshinari Ogawa vs Mitsuharu Misawa, Tsuyoshi Kikuchi and Sambo Asako

Asako and Jun go at it fast early, trading hiptosses and forearms. Jun gets the edge and tags in Ogawa. Kikuchi gets in, nails Ogawa good then Ogawa just falls over. Kikuchi hits his leg lariat, then hits a big one in the corner that sends him over the top. Misawa gets in and does a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on Ogawa. Taue and Misawa have a nice exchange with Misawa going down hard on a lariat. Asako gets back in and does a swanton on a standing Taue. Asako and Jun exchange slaps. Then Misawa drops Jun on elbows and a dropkick. Jun then does nice clubs on Asako. Taue hits a nice straight boot to Asako's face and a high slam. Taue beats up Asako and Jun does as well. Asako gets whooped on for a while here but all 3 members of the other team til Kikuchi comes in and makes a comeback. Jun tries to throw Kikuchi out, but he hands on and gets back in, which you don't see often. Kikuchi and Jun have a random epic staredown, then have a good exchange. Jun then takes control and dumps Kikuchi on a railing outside. Kikuchi gets dropped on the top rope and does a big sell for it. Taue then just drops him hard on his back. Misawa does a spinning backdrop on Jun then Asako gets a little in on him. The match and crowd kind of die for a minute or two after Misawa gets out. Jun hits a great running forearm on a cornered Misawa. They go even for a minute. Kikuchi leapfrogs Ogawa and then smashes him right in the face. Taue drapes Asako with a powerbomb and dropkicks Misawa hard. Things break down a bit and Asako hits an out of nowhere german on Jun for 2. Jun gets up though, blasts him then wins it with a german.

There was a lot of good stuff in this match. Tons of stiff shots and good comebacks, but the late portion didn't really maintain the momentum and there were definitely some selling issues. I still enjoyed this a lot though and the crowd was into it all the way through.
