Dolph Ziggler vs Curtis Axel

"Two of these guys are three banana's short of a full basket." - Alex Riley

Axel beat Ziggler with the Axelizer. Near the end, Ryback interrupted Dolph on the apron and slammed him with a clothesline on the floor. Axel took the win after that. Decent match here. Tons and tons of headlocks here, so I don't think this is going to appeal to most people but it was a basic but good match that wasn't bad at all. Rating:***

HHH interview:

HHH said he went to investigate a fast count and found a conspiracy. He brought up Pete Rose, saying what would have happened to him if he was caught conspiring with an umpire. They announced a Randy Orton vs Daniel Bryan match at WWE Battleground for the WWE Title.

Kofi Kingston vs Fandango

Kofi won with the TiP kick. I didn't really like this too much. They mostly teased doing cool stuff without actually doing it and I just always find these two to have disappointing matches.

Damien Sandow vs Justin Gabriel

Riley said Sandow was too dignified to cash in on a beat up ADR at NoC.

Sandow picked up the win here in a quick match that was okay with a Silencer. Crowd wasn't into Gabriel and someone was even chanting for Sandow. Sandow bragged about having the briefcase after.

Overall thoughts: This was fine but there wasn't anything must see here. Dolph/Axel was the highlight.
